hey guys im new with cryptocurrency market. i trade stocks. i want to invest in one small coin and chose SHIFT. do you think it can make me a millionaire or not? thanks

If you are expecting to make some millionaire through the shift and be patience the key is your patience but I don't suggest you to invest in the crypto right now, just wait until the crypto alktcoin will meet its deep. and you will be able to get a lot of the altcoin. but I suggest you try to put your money in the bitcoin right now. or you can try to invest a little amount in crypterium.

I have some shift and maybe I'll add more soon but I guess it's a pretty risky coin.

Yes, it is a very risky coin, it had it's gold times a few months ago when it was upto x2 from atm's price, i would not invest any dollar in this coin, it is very risky and it is not worth it.
If you have 90 thousand dollars, just invest that money on bitcoin, they will be up by a lot of money in a few months or maybe years from now, and i am sure about it.
It was below $700 at the beggining of this year, and now it is upto $7400 each bitcoin, the same will happen the next year, if everything goes well.

Its a risks to invest in one coin, why not try to spread your investment. We cant say you can be millionaire by investing in shift, it is better to invest in other coins that really offer a great profit. Though the best time to buy altcoins now because price is cheap. You may invest in bitcoin and ethereum, both can offer a huge profit.

The stocks market and crypto are quite similar, only crypto is much more volatile.

You should split your money up on interesting ICOs, buy BTC and spread the rest on alt coins.

Don't put it in one place, 1 point of failure is bad.

If you believe in the project then go for it. But be aware of the risks - you could easily lose more than half your investment in one day if the market conditions are turbulent. Don't expect too much from your investment is what i mean.

If the same run that brought it from under 0.0001 to over 0.0012 happens again, and you time your sell perfectly, you could well make a million dollars on paper. But, the liquidity just isn't there to make this practical.

If you trade stocks you probably have more experience than most people here and I honestly don't know why you would ask a forum if a coin can make you a millionaire, if people knew what coin can make you a millionaire then this game is over. Why don't you just go with BTC? Why throw such amounts in altcoins, most that are still heavily in development and are highly experimental. BTC is quite a proven concept by now and has shown it can withstand all the FUD and government/institutional interference. BTC reaching 50k (a good 7-8x from this price) would make you insane returns that I bet you can't get on that stock market. There's a general culture these days of making money the fastest and most low effort way possible, from the common jack to twitter investors who want multi billion dollar dividends payed out to them. I honestly think you should play it ''safe'' with that kind of money and hope for an early retirement. Or if you really can afford it go spread out your money, make boxes with X amounts to invest:

1. ICO box
2. BTC box
3. Altcoin box

Electroneum right now is the best ICO with its own blockchain. Id stay away from ERC20 Ether tokens.

Just do your research here and at other sites and spread your money in bitcoin and at least 10 - 20
different top coins. That is safer than betting on any one coin.

Are you really going to go all in on one coin? I would spread that risk around a bit into a few different bets - very easy to be wrong about a coin. Also keep in mind liquidity risk, if you go for a coin that is too small it might be hard to dump out of if it isn't going your way but maybe you are just planning to hodl?

I do not believe that you are from trade market. If you are, your question do not make any sense because you would have already researched everything you need to know about this coin. And would go to their ANN and ask the right questions on theirs.

It can make you millionaire, even trash ones can turn a good coin as you can see, for example mona, verge etc. But you should choose a more trusted coin

Invest in Electroneum, the ico just went live.

If you get lucky to buy it at 1-3 cents this coin will be at $1 dollar at the end of the year.

90k if you can buy ETN at 1 cents, sell at 1 dollar which is less than 4x its 30 cent ico pump...

You are asking for 10x making coin. 10x isn't something very rare in cryptocurrencies when you look back, but it is less and less uncommon. You should wait for years in safe chosen coin. I think only coin that may do this is IOTA.

I don't know about shift but you should find a undervalued new coin with a good business model and team, and there should be known advisors as well, because it is risky investment.

Why you want to invest $90,000 only in an altcoin? Shift, do you really think that's an altcoin which has potential for your investment? Try to look other altcoin such like Edo token. We still have much project in the future and we will lead as the best ERC-20 wallet.

Sorry for my words.. but you are just STUPID... ETN can have some hype, marketing and maybe rise a few cents, and that's all, no more! I dont think it will have a working useless product never.. mining directly in the phone is non-sense.. this would discharge the  battery few times a day. In fact right now, they fucked up and there is no mining tool at all.. so roadmap seems only empty promise.
On the other side.. if ETN was 1$ per token, that would mean  2.1T marketcap.. that is 2.100.000.000.000. (take in mind that BTC right now has 62% dominance of whole marketcap and it is "only" 124.371.869.433$). And this wont happen at the end of the year or af the end of Universe.    Talking about 20$ or 50$ far far far far away from stupid claim.. there is no name still for that!
so please keep on dreaming if you like, but dont post this crazy claims if you dont want people blaming at you.

Chin, name one other low marketcap coin that has potential to 10x right after BTC2x fork? The only coin thats not a scam is Electroneum.

A real coin has its own BLOCKCHAIN! That is why ETN is getting on all the important exchanges they want, they actually have to turn down lower quality exchanges. POLOniex is very strict, and doesnt accept Ether/ ERC20 coins. They will accept ETN due to it being a real coin.

For 10x in profit, it is possible in crypto but on the other hand, the risks might bring you 10x in losses as well. Shift is high risk coin, I suggest you to diversify in a couple of coins and hold for long term.

You say you're experienced in the stock market yet are willing to risk 90K on shift, bluntly put, that's stupid. How can you have been on the stocks game, have this much disposable income and not understand to never put all your money in one asset? Diversify and make your portfolio top heavy with bitcoin and quality high market cap alts, ETH, XMR, etc. It's find to take a risk with a portion of your portfolio in an up and coming small cap, but if you're going to drop 90k on shift and it's all you've got you may as well go bet on black at the roulette table.

If you buy ETN get it in the 3 cent or below range. You better not wait to buy ETN, this will pump up so high, tons of people missed this ICO due to China FUD. It is a underbought coin. The development thus far has exceeded expectations. It has its own blockchain and mobile app now. Bittrex and Poloniex will be launching this month. It's also got the largest community of supporters 400k plus.

A 90k purchase of ETN will be worth 15 million within 3 months mark my words. 400k community members.

If you want to invest 90k and make a million out of it You will have to take risks (get a top 100 or top 200 coin). BTC will not rise 12X
The entire market is at ATH, mainly because of the rise of bitcoin. On the other hand the Altcoins marketcap has been been pretty low (BTC domination)
and Alts may drop down even more the coming weeks.(btc fork 16 nov)

SHIFT looks to have been dumped 10 times from its highest level at 0.0012 and if you got in at such values or even half of it, you must have incurred a huge loss. But if not, try ADX and BTS as both possess better volumes than this coin. If I were to go trading alts at such times, I would never choose a single coin but diversify my portfolio into different coins as if one goes the wrong way, at least the other could recover my loss. Each coin has some potential and with your capital, you only need a 10-12x to become a millionaire. So why take chances?

Honestly the only coin that’s still ripe for growth that I would consider putting that much money into would be Neblio.  Just now getting listed on exchanges but have had a working blockchain and wallets for months.  iOS wallet among others coming out soon.  Devs are working hard and providing frequent updates.  Other than that I know 0x is a great project with a stellar team and that token should awake soon but I still don’t think I would put that much money into it.

i wont get into details about SHIFT because i dont know much about it
but there are many interesting coins that worth the investment

I would focus only on HIGH quality coins, Shift is a scam coin. Electroneum is the best coin right now, the coin has its own unique blockchain and you can mine it on your mobile phones and pc's. It has the most community member support by a landslide. If you want profit buy Electroneum! Its an easy 50x within 2 months after ICO is finished!

there is no reason to ask you to choose SHIFT coins for the long term.
if you talk about investing it would be nice to choose BITCOIN instead of ALTCOIN else.

ETN is way to popular to ever go below 1 cent. You are forgetting ETN got worldwide attention with it having the biggest online commuinity. It has the longest threads on these forums, and the most rigistered users signing up for ETN.

You are forgetting that it achieved all these records during China fud, which made the market tank during this ICO. The market has recovered just in time fo ETN to get released on major exchanges, and mobile mining APP on Google, and possibly apple store.

If your lucky you will hold ETN though its next all time high, shattering $1.00 is the next wave its heading for, it already hit 30 cents which means it 70x'ed a few days ago. This will be the next NEO! But better!

I dont have shift and I dont know if this altcoin become you a millionaire person. I suggest if you have really 90k dollars and if you want to invest to altcoin its better if you buy different altcoins like 20-40 altcoins and for sure you will become millionaire in the future but you need to choose good altcoin . Maybe make a research so you see what coin is the best to invest or good to buy.

$90000 can get you 1000 Monero right this moment. It is a sure bet you will be a USD millionaire with them before 2020.  With 90% of other coins, maybe also with the one you mention you will have under $10000 by 2020. Maybe even nothing.  Be smart and invest in the innovation and not in a hype.  1000 Moneroj will give you early retirement. Think as if you would have 1000 BTC right now.

Since you know how to trade stocks you must know that is preferable to create a portfolio of coins rather than to invest everything in a single coin, shift is a good project but it is not coin that is going to make you a lot of money in the short term, you are going to need to wait for a lot of time before the project becomes a reality, so if I were you and had so much money I will invest in some of the most well known coins.

It's a good time to invest now in altcoins because prices are low. Everyone is selling becasue they want to buy BTC to profit fromt he enxt B2x fork. in two weeks most alts should rise and you can profit from that but don't expect to x10 your investment short term. You need a lot of patience and of course to pick the best altcoins.

Buy ETN is you want 100x plus within 2 months.

Everything is depended on that if you can just be patient and start thinking like market, cause if you understand it "work" you will be able to earn some with coins.

Have a look at Request Network. It's very cheap right now and will only go up in 2018. With 90k it could make a million in a few years.

$90k to $1 million is like 10x, this is a common thing in crypto, I believe you can look into projects that are now below their ICO price like Kyber, enigma, Airtoken, Cindicator all are good projects, but do your research firt before making decision

i think cafetools mindlessly posts so much shit about ETN he doesn't even realize he's already posted in this thread 5 other times shilling the shitcoin.  since this thread is already filled with garbage I'll just leave this here so everybody can grab what kind of crypto savant we are dealing with here. 

do you have check ethereum, monero, litecoin? i think this coins is a good coins to invest for a long term and you only need to buy and hold the coins in your wallet. with that amount of money, i am sure that you don't want to invest all in one coins because you need to diversified to three or five coins which is top twenty in coinmarketcap. actually i really don't know about shift coins because i don't have any of amount of shift but for ethereum, monero, litecoin, i still holding in my wallet.
