Title: Best investment coins?
Post by: auswalk on November 07, 2017, 01:28:50 AM
Yes Bitcoin is the most gambled, and Ethereum is next.

I have a crapload of monero which I like as a coin, but it's a small % of the gambled coins. Would it be prudent to trade some monero for say litecoin or something?

Are you planning to invest it on a casino's bankroll ? or just gamble with it? Monero still has a decent number when it comes to gambling stats. On dicesites (https://dicesites.com/) Safedice's overall stat for monero is sitting at the top 10. Spreading your investment on different coins is a wise decision because it lessens the risk if one coin doesn't go according to plan you still have other coins to back you up.

This is what they called Hedging on trading, But it is not sufficient to just spread it on different without proper weighting on proper allocation. The more coins you invest in crypto trading will just give you more risk considering the behavior of altcoin price. Because when bitcoin pump, the majority of altcoin dumps and vice versa. Personally I'm just trading on two altcoin at the same time so it will be only a 50/50 risk. Stratis and OMG which is both dump ATM.  ;D

But don't go and catch falling knife because sometime it may go even lower. You should study the coins well before you jump in to purchase when others are selling it. Stratis long back I bought at 3$ and sold above 7$ and when it came down all the way to $5 then I bought some but now it is trading less than $3. I'm sure in the long run it will again go above $5 but sometimes it takes a lot of time to give you profits.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this. But generally if you are holding something just for gambling, what's the point of exchanging it? You can just keep it and gamble with it on the site that accepts XMR as a coin to gamble with. Well I think there are a lot of gambling sites that accepts this coin to play with, like fortune jack. Also, be mindful that if you exchange your coin to something else, there are fees involved. So just avoid exchanging it.

You could invest your Monero on Crypto-Games for example, but people don't seem to be betting a lot with it.
Currently there has been 3000 XMR wagered in the last 30 days, other coins are doing much better.

Litecoin is doing much better with 32k LTC wagered in the last 30 days, the profits are also much higher.

I was holding few monero in pocket for future but i didn't use it just to gamble ..
If you really wanted to  invest  or  just to gamble better to stay  at bitcoin since there are lots of gambling casino supported than monero.. But if there are lots of people support monero in the future why not adding it in other gambling casino..

What is the benefit of exchanging XMR to any other coin if your intention is to gamble out at the end?
Currently there is some sites that accepts XMR. Such as Crypto-Games.net & FortuneJack.com

Good Luck with your gambling.

Its pretty hard to guess what coin is going to take off.  My thought process on this is to collect quite a few coins and hopefully one of them takes off.

I think what you are getting into is trying to trade coins, which in itself, its gambling.  Either way good luck down the road!

I agree that Litecoin for bankroll investment is very interesting. What do you want, to trade or invest your AltCoins? If you want to invest I suggest you Crypto-Games casino. The thread below doesn't seem active anymore, but there you can find statistics of profit about each Crypto-Currency accepted on this casino. LTC did a very nice progress!

Grab some byteball while they’re cheap

There are many other coins also cheap currently because most of the money was invested on BTC and only in the last couple of days few good alt-coins are going up. It all depends on a person which one they like because can't invest in all coins. I got some byteball freely from airdrop and still this free airdrop going on so you can try to collect it if you have some BTC in your wallet.

Grab some byteball while they’re cheap

Byteball tokens went down because they stopped bringing new tokens to holders, so there is no interested of holding them anymore.

I would suggest you sticking to the top 5 coins( LTC,BCH,BTC,ETH,XMR), crypto currencies are already a very risky investment, the more the altcoin has a smaller market cap the bigger the risk is( also the reward is bigger, high risk-high reward).

If you are not a trading expert, you can end up losing a lot of money investing on small altcoins , as most of them won't survive at the long run and it has been already been proved( Mastercoin, 400M$ market cap at the top, now is worthless).

As usual there is no secret for that. Just go to Ethereum and Litecoin, maybe a bit of monero yeah and a good load of bitcoin cash also I'd say. It's surprising how bitcoin cash seems to be slowly taking over btc right now. Of course I'm not saying bitcoin cash is going to really takes the place of king btc but you have to admit it's worth quite a lot!

So diversify your investments and take few of the best coins ;)

Bitcoin is the most profitable for gambling but if you bet high stakes of alt coins you can double it and even make a faster profit, dependes on luck specially but i guess a lot of factor influence that.

The Viabet token is currently probably the best investment coin in relation to online gambling, as the price is relatively low compared to the well known like bitcoin and ethereum and has the potential of huge winning percentages if their business model will succeed.

if use dogecoin maybe can incaraese client because sending fee is low and cheap, and transaction is very fast

I don't think at the moment Monero is good either.

They got fees almost as high as Bitcoin, especially not good for smaller amounts.

And right now it looks like XMR might pull back in regards to BTC.

I really wish that sites started accepting USD Tether as a currency to bet with.

Yes, I do agree that litecoin is one of the best altcoins to consider. But remember one thing in this crypto world anything can happen so better invest in few good altcoins instead just only one or two coins. If anyone or two coins failed to give profits as per expected but generally you will make good profits if you diversify properly in altcoin investments.

If you have monero, then just use monero, you can invest those on crypto-games.net anyway. So you can just keep your monero and not spend on exchanging it to bitcoins. However, if you see that monero's price against bitcoins are going way above on how much you bought them, then you should consider trading them for bitcoins and just keep the bitcoins or invest them again on gambling sites.

Because it has high rank on the market but the price is still $100 per coin which is really low although the market trading is pretty active till this day. I do not know why they still have so low value when they can get to the top 10 on coinmarketcap

Litecoin have much value so if you want to do the gambling may be you can get better profit because of this coin. But actually it does not really matter anyway because in the ebd you just gamble everything, low value have lower risk to lose that much coin but only some casino that accept monero meanehile almost every site have litecoin to gamble

You don't have to pay for coins (althouth their ICO is still on) You can participate in their co-creation platform by commenting and get rewarded with tokens. Try it out :) For example there is a project right now that you can get rewarded up to 1 ETH :) https://www.crowdholding.com/project/68/yupie-ico

I think so.The price of bitcoin now is greater than 6k $.Even some time it's 7k$.So it's best time to inverse in altcoin. You can try ETH,waves or even Lite coin.Beause upto now bitcoin value is high.If you have low capital means,go with Bitcoin or else sure of Altcoin. So better go with the Altcoin.

There are a few new coins in the coin market among the first 200 coins this month and they take their place in the market. For 2018, I will invest a few of them. I plan to win very well. Buy it at a low price, sell it at a high price, I don't always want to be stuck in the same corner. I will invest in new coins because now  it's cheap.

For long term growth you want a token that gives you network rewards.  As the company grows, you are apart of it and get rewarded.

A coin with upside is Centra.  As more people use their card, the more network rewards every token holder will get because the network reward is a % of what users spend.

Price is low right now since wallet and cards were delayed but on schedule to release/ship in the next couple of months.  KYC process to unlock wallet is occurring now.

US is the most regulated place and hardest to ship cards to and Centra has received money transmitter license in 31 states and working on the rest.  Shows centra will be able to ship to US where many other debit cards cannot.  Will truly be a worldwide card.

Teaser on the wallet app thats currently available in apple and google play store:

Centra has become a Executive member of Chamber of Digital Commerce after US license.  Its a small circle including microsoft, IBM, Bittrix, Overstock, etc.  And the group works closely with policymakers and regulatory agencies for blockchain.

Get the latest news here, like their partnership with BitGo etc:
https://t.me/centra_news

Big roadmap plans, not just debit cards
- Debit cards
- Centra Exchange  (exchange like bittrix, but will allow to switch between centralized or decentralized exchange)
- Centra Marketplace   (like amazon/ebay but a crypto currency marketplace)
- Centra Blockchain
CTR token will be used on all platforms

Centra ecosystem:
Users can send or receive crypto from the app.  Or use centra exchange to trade crypto or buy it with fiat.  With your crypto you can purchase things on the crypto marketplace or use your virtual or physical card at any brick and motar place.  If using CTR then you get discounts on the marketplace or through the centra exchange when trading.  Token holders get network rewards from sales when using physical or virtual card.  Users grow with the company.

Many people point to the Fud that is out there currently.  Much of the fud is not true and are personal attacks on the founder not on the company itself.  But Fud still harmful for a company in its beginning stages, so the board has decided to restructuring itself and bringing in more people with expertise in the field, like Chase and Allan Shutt, etc.  And they are currently interviewing blockchain and finacial experts now to become the new CEO.

Try to do aome research on exscudo and boscoin. These two coin ico already in 6 month ago and they are really doing it. The progress is pretty good. Boscoin need 40k coin to become nodes and 10k boscoin for freeze. Exscudo need 25k exscudo to become masternodes. Boscoin 500 mill in circullation and exscudo total supply only 240 million. For exscudo only 150 million in the first circullation.

Ofcourse the best coin to invest is bitcoin because among all coins, it is the most stable and secure and then next is ethereum. But my opinion is that, aside from putting your money and effort on this main coins, you should also invest in altcoins for trading. I read that crypterium and autoniom are doing good. You can consider studying these coins and invest.

I think Ethereum is a more sensible investment tool than Bitcoin. The cheaper fee rate and faster delivery is one of the biggest things.

Agreed. Most undervalued privacy coin in the space right now. Will probably become the next Monero in the next 6-18 months.

Nobody knows which coin will be the most valuable in the near future. As a result, it has not been two years since Ethereum went on the market. But my suggestion is the one from Pivx and Minexcoin.

It makes more sense to invest in the waves because all people think that this altcoin will be valued.

we can see that the waves do not change too much  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/waves/

What do you think about altcoins? You only choose main coins.

I think if you have ETH you are well said for some awesome future profits. Ethereum will integrate soon various protocol updates which will increase the price like PoS and other things. About your Monero holding though I am not that sure. It might be that Monero is one of the most popular or even the most popular privacy coin out there, but fact is that there are privacy coins that are much more advanced than Monero in many terms. Just check Zcash, their technology is so advanced that it is already being implemented by third parties and everyone wants a piece of the zsnakrs, which is a fantastic innovation. The team is doing great with community engagement and I hope to see that relfect more on the price. People who offer that much to the blockchain community should get rewarded accordingly.
