Yes Bitcoin is the most gambled, and Ethereum is next.

I have a crapload of monero which I like as a coin, but it's a small % of the gambled coins. Would it be prudent to trade some monero for say litecoin or something?

Are you planning to invest it on a casino's bankroll ? or just gamble with it? Monero still has a decent number when it comes to gambling stats. On dicesites Safedice's overall stat for monero is sitting at the top 10. Spreading your investment on different coins is a wise decision because it lessens the risk if one coin doesn't go according to plan you still have other coins to back you up.

This is what they called Hedging on trading, But it is not sufficient to just spread it on different without proper weighting on proper allocation. The more coins you invest in crypto trading will just give you more risk considering the behavior of altcoin price. Because when bitcoin pump, the majority of altcoin dumps and vice versa. Personally I'm just trading on two altcoin at the same time so it will be only a 50/50 risk. Stratis and OMG which is both dump ATM.  Grin

When people dump then you should take them and wait for the right time to sell. Should buy only promising coins not shit coins.

But don't go and catch falling knife because sometime it may go even lower. You should study the coins well before you jump in to purchase when others are selling it. Stratis long back I bought at 3$ and sold above 7$ and when it came down all the way to $5 then I bought some but now it is trading less than $3. I'm sure in the long run it will again go above $5 but sometimes it takes a lot of time to give you profits.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this. But generally if you are holding something just for gambling, what's the point of exchanging it? You can just keep it and gamble with it on the site that accepts XMR as a coin to gamble with. Well I think there are a lot of gambling sites that accepts this coin to play with, like fortune jack. Also, be mindful that if you exchange your coin to something else, there are fees involved. So just avoid exchanging it.

You could invest your Monero on Crypto-Games for example, but people don't seem to be betting a lot with it.
Currently there has been 3000 XMR wagered in the last 30 days, other coins are doing much better.

Litecoin is doing much better with 32k LTC wagered in the last 30 days, the profits are also much higher.

This is a great question. I love Monero as a coin too but it doesn't appear to have much value? Is there a reason for this.

Thank You In Advance!

I was holding few monero in pocket for future but i didn't use it just to gamble ..
If you really wanted to  invest  or  just to gamble better to stay  at bitcoin since there are lots of gambling casino supported than monero.. But if there are lots of people support monero in the future why not adding it in other gambling casino..

Monero is #9 on coinmarketcap with $105 value, why do you say that it doesn't have much value?

Yep, i think it would be wise to have some litecoins(price could grow a lot), but if you want to exchange it just for gambling purpose then what's the point?

What is the benefit of exchanging XMR to any other coin if your intention is to gamble out at the end?
Currently there is some sites that accepts XMR. Such as Crypto-Games.net & FortuneJack.com

Good Luck with your gambling.

Its pretty hard to guess what coin is going to take off.  My thought process on this is to collect quite a few coins and hopefully one of them takes off.

I think what you are getting into is trying to trade coins, which in itself, its gambling.  Either way good luck down the road!

I agree that Litecoin for bankroll investment is very interesting. What do you want, to trade or invest your AltCoins? If you want to invest I suggest you Crypto-Games casino. The thread below doesn't seem active anymore, but there you can find statistics of profit about each Crypto-Currency accepted on this casino. LTC did a very nice progress!

Grab some byteball while they’re cheap

There are many other coins also cheap currently because most of the money was invested on BTC and only in the last couple of days few good alt-coins are going up. It all depends on a person which one they like because can't invest in all coins. I got some byteball freely from airdrop and still this free airdrop going on so you can try to collect it if you have some BTC in your wallet.

Grab some byteball while they’re cheap

Byteball tokens went down because they stopped bringing new tokens to holders, so there is no interested of holding them anymore.

I would suggest you sticking to the top 5 coins( LTC,BCH,BTC,ETH,XMR), crypto currencies are already a very risky investment, the more the altcoin has a smaller market cap the bigger the risk is( also the reward is bigger, high risk-high reward).

If you are not a trading expert, you can end up losing a lot of money investing on small altcoins , as most of them won't survive at the long run and it has been already been proved( Mastercoin, 400M$ market cap at the top, now is worthless).

As usual there is no secret for that. Just go to Ethereum and Litecoin, maybe a bit of monero yeah and a good load of bitcoin cash also I'd say. It's surprising how bitcoin cash seems to be slowly taking over btc right now. Of course I'm not saying bitcoin cash is going to really takes the place of king btc but you have to admit it's worth quite a lot!

So diversify your investments and take few of the best coins Wink

Bitcoin is the most profitable for gambling but if you bet high stakes of alt coins you can double it and even make a faster profit, dependes on luck specially but i guess a lot of factor influence that.

The Viabet token is currently probably the best investment coin in relation to online gambling, as the price is relatively low compared to the well known like bitcoin and ethereum and has the potential of huge winning percentages if their business model will succeed.
