1. Buy some bitcoin (best site to buy depends on your country, preferrably go with localbitcoins (http://localbitcoins.com))
2. Deposit some bitcoin on your preferred exchange's wallet (Bittrex (http://bittrex.com), Bitfinex (http://bitfinex.com), Binance (http://binance.com))
3. Choose the coin you want to trade: (e.g. BTC/ETH, BTC/LTC, BTC/BCH, etc)
4. Trade away

A simple introduction first, bitcoin and altcoins can be traded in exchanges. You can buy bitcoin with your native currency in local bitcoins. Start trading bitcoin with ethereum or litecoin if you are not willing to risk much. Don't be scared of price fluctuations, and the current state of markets is that of the bullish one and there are various reasons for it. Be updated with the latest news and rumors that have a huge possibility of influencing the price.
Here are some links :-
Exchanges :- www.bittrex.com (the one I usually use and recommend as it is user friendly)
Local bitcoins:- www.localbitcoins.com
News:- www.coindesk.com / www.cointelegraph.com

There is no magic guide in trading. You should learn technical analysis and especially be patient. Try to buy some bitcoins for long term investment. And try to follow some altcoins.

When I started negotiating with cryptos the first thing I learned was to ignore the tempting offers that are false. Stay away from what seems "too good to be true". I assure you, you will avoid many headaches.

It is difficult, if you are a newbie you should try to introduce yourself a little bit more into the crypto world, try to spend some money on buying guides, and then download a good script for making your own analysis based on your own indicators about the prices of X coin. It would be difficult at the beggining, but i am sure that once that you acostumbrate to it, you will realize that it is very easy and everybody can do it to start earning some easy money.
And for buying the bitcoins, try to use localmoney, it is the most safest way to buy, because it is a p2p platform.

The advice that I would give is to be ruthlessly consistent. Research and devise a strategy. It doesn't really matter what that strategy is - more that you learn to follow it - and stay with set (small) amounts. Do not trade with more and more if you have early success. Then you can see if you have the mental discipline and patience to become a good trader.
Of course, the goal is always to cut your losses and run with your profits so choose a strategy that has a chance of allowing that.
Good luck and be careful - it's not easy and there are no shortcuts.

You must invest a little to learn trading. Invest atleast. 005btc. I guess the minimum trading must be atleast. 0005btc. Make a target of growing this into double within your set timeframe. Once you are confident and earning thru trading, you may start trading with larger account.

I will list the steps to begin trading very simply, but you should know that you will almost definitely lose A LOT of money if you begin unprepared. I recommend that you take a few week (probably months) an learn about how trading works as well as learn different analysis strategies.

Anyway,

Step 1: Buy Bitcoin. I recommend that you use a service like CoinBase because it is very easy to use, but if you want a lower rate or if you wish to purchase a lot then I recommend that you gdax (its part of CoinBase, but more geared toward experienced users).

Step 2: Transfer the Bitcoin into an exchange of your choice. I recommend that you use Bittrex because they do not have many problems and their interface is very easy to use (it is beginner friendly).

Step 3: Trade! It is that easy!

Good luck and make sure that you are prepared!  :P

Most of the member have already replied to you so what I can give you is just a piece of advise. When I started as a newbie in cryptocurrency trading, I was at lost as well. But I never give up but instead try to be positive in every way eventhough I have lost in the beginning. But just continue and don't lose focus and I'm sure that we will find trading exciting specially if you are seeing profits in your end. Goodluck in your career as a trader. And one more thing, don't be afraid to try and experiment as well, there are no secrets in trading and not every trading methods works for everyone. So try to do little tweaks every now and then and see how it fits your trading style.

First, find a good exchange: Bittrex, Poloniex
Second, find 2-4 altcoin you love: NEO,ETH,ETC..
Third, place buy order with low price that you think that worth, dont chase coin price
Final: waiting.

Start with basic tutorial and start with your self practice. Thats the best way which can get you success in the trading world. You can always copy others for the first time in terms of buying patterns, which coins are being traded most in the market and at what prices people are selling. Most of the time people will be buying at lowest possible prices and then will sell at highest point. Thats the common thing to do but its very important to know what to buy and when to buy. So focus on that first, know the best coins and stick to them for at least month or two. Then you will start learning the different patterns and can get hold on to it.

To trade you must understand the science of business management, I think everything is basically business management. You should be able to read the charts so you can predict which coins will go up, and you should choose which coins develop to slightly avoid the risk of loss.

Don't make a mistake to join those signal groups because what they will tell you are coins or tokens that are already pumped or they already bought at lower price and they will just use their followers to pump the price further before they start dumping. Use twitter and follow the owners, developers as they use twitter as their way to announce any development about their Project. You can also find some good advise in twitter backed with graphs and good explanation from speculators. Finally, don't listen to anyone on what to buy or when to sell. Do your own research and follow your instincts.

This is one hour trading strategy. If you see this graph you will realize that everyday you will get opportunity to make big profit. Everyday, every hour market move dramatically. If you have deep analysis on everyday market you can catch the opportunity. You can open a trade for one hour with 1 or 2 volume. During one hour you can able to make $20 profit each day.

I will suggest patience as number one key and this will help you to decide what you want to do with the market at that point in time.

Again for me, I so dread fundamentals rather than technicals because technicals will always conform with the candle sticks and other technical apparatus.

So, is better you are mindful of the news. Risk what you can bear its lose.

It is really a good thing to have a background check or a primary knowledge about a specific form or way of earning with the used of bitcoin. For me the best way to lesr trading is to first learn the system of bitcoin in regards to its value and it's relation to the stock movement, support of the people and each transaction. So you could know how will you earn out of trading. And watching videos on YouTube and reading some article on Google is a good thing for you to start on the learning process but if you want to acquire the basic knowledge or the porven fact with the used of some users history.

Before even considering trading I would take your time to read over almost all trading related threads within the forum and gain much valuable insight in to what it takes to become a successful trader, once you are ready then you must buy some btc and transfer them to an exchange of your choice, start small and be patient.

The best way I know to learn trading is learning by actually trading. You can start with lowest possible amount (as per the exchange's rules) and place frequent orders to analyse and understand the behaviour of the market levels. You can read about other's trading experiences but I would highly recommend you doing your own research before investing. You can prepare your own trading strategy by actually trading and learning from the experience. Doing it with least possible amount helps to avoid the huge loss.

Before you get into trading, keep in mind that many people don't make a profit over the long term.  If you want to be profitable, you need to understand that learning to trade well is going to be a long process that will require more patience than you probably realize right now.  You almost certainly will not make large profits early in your trading career.  You need to start small, learn to trade well, and then gradually increase your trade size as you build confidence in what you're doing.  One of the most important things you can do is make sure you don't let a trade get out of control and take a huge loss.

There is no trading guide for a newbie except buy and hold BTC. Get good at that first and make it like 90% of your portfolio because it will always be higher in price the next year because that's how it's peformed since the beginning. Now that it is becoming more scarce the price will be going a lot higer soon because there is huge demand for it right now.

First you need to have some background first in trading. I can recommend babypips because in here you will learn trading step by step because it is like a school where you are in a certain grade and then graduating after you are finished with the level. It is focus in forex trading but in can be applied to cryptocurreny trading as well. You will learn fundamental, technical analysis and market psychology.

After graduating, you may proceed to actual trading. Choose an exchange and trade whatever coin you like may it be against BTC/USD or Altcoin/BTC. I recommend Bittrex because there are plenty of coins to choose from. Only trade what you can afford to lose and never let your emotions do the trade for you but it is easier said than done. Nevertheless, if you lose, just learn from it and move on. It is in losing that you will truly learn how to become a consistent profitable trader.

Your explanation is really good . But still here i would like to give suggestion in another simple way that I used .
First of all make trade with the bitcoin with your friends and another social friends for direct local fiat Wallet ( like payeer or anything another Wallet that is in your country giving service ) , do this thing for 2-3 months , in this interval of time you will find that the pump and dump in the market how made you to face and that profit and loss will make you to learn that how to turn loss into profit and how much you needed to have patience to handle the money according to market to make money . After this start make trading at small exchange for altcoins ( coin another than bitcoin ) at yobit.net ( suggestion to have exchange this one , after getting success , do trading at another exchange also ).
In this way you will get success step by Step easily , but be careful to the news and rumours in the cryptocurrency market because they can effect the Market much .

With BTC you just invest if you have big budget and you have to wait for long time. Do not trade Bitcoin in short-term. With altcoin, set a fixed profit between buying.

I suggest you to read first about trading cryptocurrency to have background into it. Basically you need a wallet for storing your coins. Choose an exchange for trading like bittrex or poloniex and deposit your coins, choose trusted exchange! There are two types of trading long term and short term trading. Long term is HODL for a long time and wait for that coin to get profit. Short term is you need timing to get profit "buy low, sell at high"

Welcome to trade. Trade is not too difficult but it is not easy, it is important that you learn and draw experience for yourself. I find that there are no specific directions in the trade, every trader will learn the techniques themselves and draw experience to improve. I will give you some advice. First you have to have a bit of trade knowledge, learn a bit about basic techniques. You need to have a little capital to sustain because the first trade you are likely to lose is very high. As for exchanges, I nominate bittrex and poloniex, these are the great and best exchanges in my opinion. And keep practicing, don't be afraid to fail :D

Trader is like a practical term and it have such impact too. You can’t be just get into this world and then start making money. No, firstly you can’t earn money if you don’t know better about trading. Read and read and read about it. Focus on what are ifs and buts of it.

How to do, when to do, where to do, what to do and all such FAQs must be answered to you before taking a proper start.

A simple advise, First, it is imporatant to know that in trading requires full attention and must be a hundred percent focus, Secondly trading is not for everyone, There so many tips but it is difficult to apply, Start a trade only when you know why you're starting and have a clear strategy afterwards. Not all traders makes gain from trading, everyone benefits and everyone looses, For each trade we must set a clear target level for taking profit more importantly, a stop loss level for cutting losses. A stop loss is setting the level of loss where the trade will get closed.Traders with no pressure, Don't start trading unless you have optimal conditions to make the decision to start a trade and know when and how to get out of it,Pressures almost always creates losing trades, Wait for the next opportunity, you will get there..

It is really a good thing that you are stepping into the world of trade. The thing is trading is not that much easy thing to do as most of us think of it. Being newbie, the first thing which you need to do is to learn the very basics of the trading. Try to get as much knowledge as you can. After that, keeping on learning from your experience as you get to learn the things with the passage of time.

I think that will not help a lot. The important thing the newbies must try to do a real trade to gain the more experience in trade. Just spent a little amount into the exchange site and that will be better and so the newbies can try to participate in the the trading group. Rather than read or watch the video in youtube and that will be better.

It's easy to trade if you have the capital on your wallet and just invest it to any available exchange that you are good with it. You can also watch video tutorials on youtube so that you can do it step by step.

Well if you are new then you must be looking for some initial guidance to help you understand the various methods of trading .actually I could sum up the all possible methods in just 3 words i.e. one could trade through international forums which provide you a chance to meet with the buyer and sellers via a 3rd party and cost you some transaction fee .the other ways to use brokers that sell or buy Btcs form you at their own desired rates .the best is direct trading for me which requires you to sell your coins by yourself directly with no involvement of the trading investors at all.

I think the those trading expert will be the one who guide you effectively towards your success in trading.  The best teacher is the experience so don't be afraid to try trading because this will give a lot benefit when you learned it effectively. And of course you must also search about trading and watch to the YouTube on how to trade
You can learn a lot of trading tips from this forum and my suggestion is to learn it from the trading expert he will teach you in good way and then implement those learnt things in practical trading and you will get more than you expect and I also learnt trading from a friend and he simply taught me basics and decision making techniques and I made a lot from btc , so start now and get into the profit pool to earn maximum.

Wow! But if he need money daily. How can he hold coin?
Holding is only good if you are planning of long term investment. If you actually need to have money on daily basis, then it is better for you to start doing day trading.

This will help you serve the purpose.  As far as trading guideline for newbie is concerned, the only thing which can help any trader in making wise decision is the amount of knowledge he is having. Try to gather as much amount of knowledge as you actually can.

The only thing I can suggest you is to do your own research don't trust anybody, many new traders are usually just blindly following others suggestion and analysis, sometimes its work so they get hypes and continue to follow others but when the market doesn't work as expected  they don't know what to do, so they got lost.

to be honest I very often see the same tread with the tread you have. I hope you try to read first before writing the tread. but I will try to answer what you are questioning. to start trading at least you must have a coin, be it bitcoin or altcoins. then you do buying and selling by buying low and selling high. there you will get a profit, but trading is not easy, you should be able to determine the right time to buy and also when to sell.

I am a trader so in my knowledge I want to say you have to hard work for it, And always follow professional traders who actually success in trading, if you think that you can get help from Google or youtube then you are wrong, every professional trader doing hard work that's why they are now professional. If you are just learning, start out small by just trading one or two coins. I recommend sticking with Bitcoin or a major altcoins until you have time to learn and do research on others. For whichever coin you pick to trade, buy on a dip (drop in price). I also recommend that you don't buy all at once. Put in a buy order for a small portion of your trading balance. When that buy goes thru, the price could drop more, so buy a little more if it drops again. Keep doing this and you can buy through the drop. When the price increases enough for you to make the profit you want, put in the sell order.

the basic principle of trading is "buy at the cheapest price, and sell at the highest price. before doing trading you should be able to predict the movement of market prices at that time.

So much you have to learn to trade, crypto trading is something that is very risky. Do not start if you do not want the losses you get, there is no specific guide in trading crypto.
You should do research on the market, which is called by this fundamentally very useful to minimize the loss. Many crypto trading sites, such as coinbase, bittrex and many more.
Well, if you think your ability is qualified to trade you can go straight there no need to hesitate.
I am sure, if you have started you will get knowledge that you can not from other people, because the experience is extraordinary.

Since you are a newbie in trading then you should ask your friend how he handles trading or maybe you should read some article or watch videos on YouTube about it. Just to inform you, its risk is greater but I can guarantee you that you will earn lots of money if you just know how to deal with it. By monitoring and analyzing the market will help a lot to make you own decision.

As newbie you should need not control your emotion, buy at small amount then sell it for higher amount to generate income, that is basic for trading but you should search for the coin which has a big possibility to increase uts value.

Before asking how to trade you should know what trading is, and you should know what cryptocurrency trading is, as it is differnt from regular trading, because of how the prices of cryptocurrencies are constantly changing and how unstable these prices are, if you don't reallly know what you are doing you can end up selling at the wrong time and l;ose potential profit or you could buy at a high price and the price ends up going down, so before trying to understand how to trade you really should learn what drives the prices of the cryptocurrencies and try to have an idea about what is really going on in the market.

Avoid impulse buying. Not because someone posted a snapshot of his Blockfolio with huge profits, its a signal for you to start buying those coins that he showed. Learn to read graphs as it will help you decide if its a good time to buy or good time to sell. The most simplest of them all I guess is the Parabolic SAR, it will tell you if its a sell or buy.

Welcome to crypto world. First you have to make account on bittrex, polo or any exchanger which you prefer. Then deposit btc to your wallet add. Look for a good coin to buy and wait till you earn profit then sell. But you have to exert effort and time reading some reading materials about crypto and do a reasearch first. Welcome and GoodLuck
This forum has many traders. I am pretty sure about this and if someone wants to work with a trader he can find one here. However I will not recommend it as trading must be done by one own self. This is my opinion and you can definitely disagree with that.

That I don't think it is very difficult to learn trading.  If someone is patient and understands the behavior of his asset, he can become a successful trader.

I think in trading, we need to have patience first because we are going to see many possibilities in many coins. sometimes we are in difficult situations that need to solve and sometimes we need to wait for a while. and if we don't have patient, we can make a mistake too often and we cannot make any profit at all.

I think with new people entering this market should learn to search information thoroughly before entering the market. You need to know this is a very new field is very dangerous and very high risk but it also brings huge profits.
The most important thing is your greed, greed can kill you at any moment, leaving you with nothing in one night.
Also, you need to have strong psychology to avoid and understand the FOMO effect
Good luck

Trading for beginners is not very difficult. If they think and believe that I will come into this campaign and invest, then they have to take a lot of knowledge about their trading and study. Patience will not be emotional.

If you are a newbie, start with small investment, do not rush, choose a fall price and wait until it rises. Choose good when you're trading, because another coin is delesting, so check whether it's delesting or not.

You should have a lot of knowledge first before you try to trade. Being a trader is very hard job because analyzing different chart is not easy task, it is hard to predict if the coin will go up or go down.

but not difficult if we have a knowledge and I think every people could try in their first time without any knowledge as long as they can buy at low price and keep selling at the high price. and if they can do this for the other time, then soon they will understand that they need something to make more profit and they will learn more about trading. although it is difficult, we could still learn to analyze the chart, determine the price to buy and sell and else.

1. Buy some bitcoin (best site to buy depends on your country, preferrably go with localbitcoins (http://localbitcoins.com))
2. Deposit some bitcoin on your preferred exchange's wallet (Bittrex (http://bittrex.com), Bitfinex (http://bitfinex.com), Binance (http://binance.com))
3. Choose the coin you want to trade: (e.g. BTC/ETH, BTC/LTC, BTC/BCH, etc)
4. Trade away
Thanks for the idea i would try this too,i never tried in trading and this idea as my first step.

If you're not an expert in trading and don't have any experience, it's better to just buy&hold. Otherwise it's pure gambling and odds are against you, because of fees, trading costs and more experienced traders, plus market manipulations and insider information, scams, impossiblilty of anticipating big moves by devs, whales, exchanges, hackers, then sudden unexpected big news etc. Too many variables you don't control. You'll just get burned out if not prepared and thick skinned.

There is no guideline as a newbie in cryptocurrency traders. In order to improve yourself you should make your own personal research in order to lean yourself and enhance your skills and knowledge in this type of activity.

To be a trader you need to study the basic candlesticks strategy and the resistance and support.  A trader had a patient and remove your emotion. Emotion is the best enemy of a trader because it will force you to sell without a profit and small profit.

For newbie you need to have a very wide patient. In this time you can use the quote "patient is a virtue" if you have a patient you can earn more because the altcoins is not dumping all the year it will pumping. And study the basic techniques and candlesticks.

But I will say that trading for the beginner is much difficult and they often lose the most money in trading. That is why I will suggest that you study more about trade before you want to start and try to do practice with much smaller amount and also ask from people about any difficulty you face in your trade on this forum and if you know any trader personally then go to him and ask him for his/her strategy.

First, the wallet should be opened. The second step is getting much information about everything that is connected with the cryptocurrency. It will help you to pick the most reliable coins and start trading.

I think if you are a newcomer to this market then you should not trade at this point it will be very dangerous. You may find that bitcoin prices in recent days are constantly adjusting and sharply lowered, thus resulting in lower altcoin prices. You trade and this time will be a lot of risk and if you lose market you will lose very heavily.
