The problem is we need to continue to face the long lead time of every transaction in the blockchain resulting to increase of service fees by the trading sites and exchanges especially now that more and more transactions will be requested soon because lot of people are coming to join the bitcoin investments.This is why i support segwit2x in order to facilitate these increasing transactions and make the long lead time to be reduced as this will result to a cheaper service fees in the future. It is too risky to hold onto bitcoins because the correction could be brutal. Pick up some cheap altcoins while you can. Segwit2x is the debate between Bitcoin core developers and the only things to be consider is to increase the size amount of each block and better scalability but majority of the developers were not convinced that the need for little adjustments would be better and effective that's why they are creating a new fork called Segwit2x and other hard forks as well the Bitcoin can and Bitcoin Gold and more the incoming Bitcoin Silver. This is actually a very good news for altcoins. I think that people will now come back to the altcoins in order to invest and trade them and the cost of altcoins will go up. But because alts are quite high, there is a huge chance that investors will choose altcoins over btc, and might lead to the dip of value of btc. Thx God they changed their mind. No, Bitcoin will never die. But i can almost guarantee you that segwit won't be the last attempt at a new Bitcoin fork. This is the new "ICO' but for bitcoin miners/pools and big whales to play with. Forking BTC is free profit along with the major hype of buying into the markets. It is sick to make a transaction with Bitcoin today >:( In as much as people a lot of people are for the bitcoin knowingly against any form of fork, but what they fail to acknowledge is that there is a problem that needs to be tackled as the argument they have always put forward is that some people are willingly attacking bitcoin by way of spamming the network but what is surprising to me is that they could not do anything about it either stopping it or making bitcoin more free from the attacks. Now we are faced with the issue of high fees where the blame is always channelled towards the miners rather than making bitcoin itself better.
