Bitcoin fork Segwit2x has been a debate since around May this year but then they decided to cancel the fork due to some reasons but they didn't conclude that the said fork will not be pushed in the future.
Segwit2x is the debate between Bitcoin core developers and the only things to be consider is to increase the size amount of each block and better scalability but majority of the developers were not convinced that the need for little adjustments would be better and effective that's why they are creating a new fork called Segwit2x and other hard forks as well the Bitcoin can and Bitcoin Gold  and more the incoming Bitcoin Silver.

I was badly stuck in alts. I think alts are now to the moon. segwit2x cancellation an unexpected news.

I am not sure altcoins will recover as soon as possible. But, about segwitx2 cancellation bring new hope to see a new life. As we can see, this month really bad situation for altcoins and some ICO. And yes, we can sit down and watching the green show.

I think it was good for altcoin market, maybe we will see some correction not too soon but well it is more good than got more dipper

I think this is a very good news for the space, the SegWit2X circle indeed failed in their quest of hijack the community, I believe this is a big victory for all, no victor no vanquish

No.

The thread i linked to is an ERC20 token on Ethereum blockchain and has nothing to do with Bitcoin. Take it as a joke.

No one can give you an answer now. Look at BTC - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/ it's not going to fall (7310$ now), want to raise $8000 maybe Grin
I'll be watching from the side until at least tomorrow, it is not clear how the situation will develop.

I don't really quite understand why someone would buy B2X before the fork. In fact I don't understand why someone would even buy B2X. The sole porpuse is to dump the airdrop on the market just like the other Bitcoin clones in the past.

Tip: Don't buy Bitcoin clones ever again!

Especially not Bitcoin clone futures, I mean come on, why was it listed in the first place? Same goes with BTG, they're on test net for a week now yet the futures get traded. People are fucking stupid.

Bitcoin will hold the uptrend, even with the cancellation of the fork. Altcoins will not yet profit from this, it will take a while before they start going up again. Even if whales start dumping bitcoins, 10K is within reach in next months to come.

Are they now going back to their respective altcoins?
The bitcoin dump is really going insane. Just a few hours ago I saw a $300 down which made me worry but also kind of happy because I have alts that wants pumping now.
I guess this will be busy day afterwards. A lot of coffee will be needed for monitoring the prices.

I think that those people who withdraw money from altcoins, they will come back. on the other hand new money out of Fiat going into Bitcoin, as the danger of a split is no more, so everything is about to go up)
