Hi frds,

I want to share my last 10 days experience about Electroneum(ETN) cryptocurrency coin mining.

On 2nd november, 2017 - I joined electroneum website and used their CPU windows miner, i received 6 ETN in 24 hours.
On 3rd november, 2017 - I used ccminer on one of my GPU rigs with electroneum official eupool but their payout is 100ETN and their support reply is very weak.
On 5th november 2017 - I shifted to hashparty server. I liked it a lot, worked much better than previous pool, but as i am having total 6 rigs, i failed to add more than 1 rig. when i added 2nd rig, both 1st and 2nd rig started showing errors.
On 6th november 2017 - I joined suprnova.cc n started mining on 6 rigs using workers. But in 72 hours I lost 136 ETN as orphan coins. When I asked support for help they said they cant help in this case. So i thought if i lost 136 ETN in 72 hours, how much i will loose in next 6 months. Also, their fee on each transaction irritated me. I noticed one major thing on suprnova that i felt like they are stealing my coins and paying me less. Calculators were showing that i will receive around 700 coins everyday but i got around 600 coins per day from all my 6 rigs. I decided to leave them in peace.

Finally, I joined pool.electroneum.space, I was little worried about all that i experienced before. this pool front web panel was showing lots of fluctuation in my reported hash rate, from 7Kh/s to 13Kh/s. I was worried n confused, i want to talk with someone then I found they have discord chatting platform. I joined discord n asked if anybody online. Pool admin appeared and i share my problem and admin said dont worry just wait for few hours. I waited for 12 hours and I noticed amazing results. I made 450 ETN in 12 hours. Also, this pool charges no fee. And there are so many miners to guide each other.

I suggest you all should try this pool for at least 24 hours. Quick support n guidance is available there, what else we all need from mining servers?

Thanks Geet - this saved me a bucket load of time searching for a decent pool - front end interface isn't the best but it's doing the job well.. they do charge 0.1% fee but that's better than others I found.. also using ccminer and was fairly easy to get started.. hash rate went stable for me after an hour or two.

I noticed they have a calculator for how much you can earn daily. Are you getting the estimated payout as per the tool or is it way off? For me, the tool said 170 ETN/day yesterday and 185 ETH/day today. However, in the last 24 hours, I have barely gotten 100 ETN. My hashrate has been consistent and my Internet has been rock solid too. There shouldn't be such enormous discrepancy. Am I missing something?

Btw, can you please share an invite to the discord channel? The invite link on the website has expired.

Is it better than easyhash.io pool?have you tried it yet?

My order of preference would be

1.Easyhash.io -1 % hash rate fluctuates a lot after ddos attack
2.http://electroneum.hashparty.io/ - 2% solid of the m all but also high fee.

3.http://pool.electroneum.space/ - Nothing is ever free, they are siphoning of etn at times keep watching the payout. Despite the scamish 0% FEE CLAIM.

4.https://etn.uax.io/# - Decent pool if you are mining for a long time this is one of the best pools despite low has power

The 0 fee is complete bull. They syphoning of  etn a bit of every body, im certainly not getting the pay out for the hash power i provide.

We have resolved the issue, and thank you for the top review :)

One side note is don't use hashparty. Their admins are very fishy. I mined about 12 hours. I monitored the difficulty very closely. I lost 20%+ coins than estimate. The same thing happened to other people in their discord. So I brought this up in their discord, and their admin blamed orphan blocks and luck, and banned me right away.

so i just decided i would get on social media platforms now that i have a chance after working in the hashparty discord community for two weeks straight not getting any sleep for like 3 days straight. I am hanksy and is known by all in there as the Management. I joined that discord when there was only 30 memebers now we have 1999 last i checked 30min ago. this guy was banned not for his issues he claims but becuase he was trolling the community.

i have worked tirelesly in that community supporting its members and chasing up any complaint with the pool op known as hashparty. i have a 100% satisfactory rate of support and ask anyone that begs to differ to call me out in the discord where i have devoted my time. any how this is about all i can say to this twat known as crazyboy.

I've seen 20% less payments on other pools too. Might be something in the pool code they're all using that is siphoning the coins or might be that pool admins are greedy.

Luck should average on par, but usually in real life you're loosing.

Not blaming, just saying.

Or is there a hidden 20% fee to the etn devs?

Well for me topic pool is as bad as any other than hasparty. I get about 10% less what i should get in a day. Hashparty is by far best. Its just they have a lot of network problems, probl cuz its a states pool and im euro..

Hashpary is good, but I would rather prefer electromine.fr for the community and their admins

I just tried to connect to pool.electroneum.space and:

Why the pools are going down, I am was mining on this pool, but after while was down. So I am moved to electroneum-mobile, but after one day was down too (My payout was very good, 15khs and 1850etn/day).
So what happend?

What pool supports multiple rigs? I'm mining with the new claymore miner but when i connect more then 1 rig both stop working.

Hashparty.io seems to be working. It might getting DDOSed, the website is pretty slow and half of the time it doesn't even work. Watching my reported hashrate i see its very inconsistent.

Just dropped pool to 0.5% for the miners

Can i mine at this pool with multiple rigs? Other pools wont allow worker ID's.

I've been using http://us-etn-stats.hashparty.io/ and the payouts are consistent and within an hour.  I enjoy pooling with them but I have not been receiving the amount of coins their hash rate calculator is estimating.  I'm experimenting with https://uspool.electroneum.com/ again, to see if I receive a higher payout regardless of the higher fee.

So I switched to the uspool and I've received better results than hashparty despite it having higher fees.  Doesn't make sense but numbers don't lie

I switched all my rigs to uspool.electroneum.com, i get way better results then hashparty and the uptime seems way better. Uspool also supports multiple rigs on the same address.

The pool isn't bad but for 24h and with my middle hashrate 12.4Kh i earned 995ETN so it's a low ETN amount compared to other ETN mining pools so i must leave this pool!

My only concern about this pool is its vardif settings swings too wildly. Its causing an unstable share and probably reducing the share rate. Maybe if you can fix that or make a static dif would be nice. Only reason im looking for another pool is the vardif issue

Why does your pool only has payments to 35 miners while the total connected is over 2000 miners?

I think you're mistaking my pool with another one (I think I know the one you talk about, there are weird/dishonest stuff going on there I assume).

Yesterday all poos was down for a couple of hours but seems like it "electroneum space" are the best choice somehow.

yeah all pools sit the bed for a bit there, but electroneum.space came back online with cloudflare wrapper and been solid as fuck ever since, getting like 10 ETN every 20-30mins, not bad  . . around 400+ a day

If this shit aint a fuckin scam and the mobile app mines *anything* the coin will go apeshit IMO

We also had DDOS attacks yesterday and last night at http://electroneum.ovh but it was totally transparent for our users: they were still able to mine and to access the website!  ;)
Since the launch we only had a 2h and a 1h downtime last week, so only 3h downtime in 17 days!

I have 2 rigs and they have 7 rx 580 per and it is 10K avarage hash rate. But that pool gived me only 41 ETN for 7 hours for 10KH/s.

These pools are frustrating. I tried a dozen of pools so far but none of them has a constant payout. Some days i get only half of what my hashrate should get. I'm not sure if i should just switch to XMR, on XMR i do have constant payouts.

I tried electroneum.ovh since yesterday afternoon.

balance jumped to 1.25 or so after 20 minutes.

then nothing happend till this morning somewhere between 9 & 11 CET.

then it added +/- 8 etn and it did a 9 etn payout and left 0.49 as balance.

when I look at the pool stats I think something is not right.

it mentions block found every 2 hours but it took 18 hours till I saw the money raise from the last block.

I guess it finds blocks slower as there are only 193 miners active compared to eupool.electroneum.com which has 2200+.

BUT the rewards will be probably bigger when something is found as it has to share amongst less miners.

Try out pool http://etn.cryptonight.in/ (http://etn.cryptonight.in/). The payouts are very close to the calculator, but lacks power. Sometimes quite a long time looking for blocks. Support him with your power.

Hey guys, there is a better pool now, hosted on Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling server technology. It's the most reliable pool you can find but it's pretty new, they are pumping Nicehash power every day for a while, let's help it grow.

I am trying to move from ETH mining to ETN mining. I have about 4000 GPUs and wondering if anyone can suggest a decent pool that can handle all of my GPUs.

Unfortunately and also fortunately you have the privilege to be an early adopter :) Payouts may not be constant but in the long run when ETN will rise you will have so much gains.
Check-out www.electroneum.vip now and then, they will add more hashing power and more miners are coming. It's run on Amazon Hosting.

I went to a smaller pool and finally recieve proper payments for my hashrate. With 4000 gpus you should think about solo mining.

Hi All, I am mining Electroneum on EasyHash.io My rig is currently producing 4,700 h/s. On the EasyHash site, it states that my hashrate is 3.0 KH/s. Any idea why there is such a large difference between actual and reported? Shouldn't I be at around 4.7 KH/s?

Very new and they don't hit blocks quite often. If you are patient enough you will find high rewards unlike other pools.

Electroneum.space is a scam. They stole 200+ETN which was appearing in the balance. Last night they were down and now when they are back up again, all the pending balance of 200+ ETN is gone and my stats were reverted back to 30th of November !!!

Hello, i had about 3 ETN @ electroneum.space this morning, but some minutes later my pending balance was canceled to 0.1 ETN. This is not a big loss, but be aware!!!

Same thing happened to me, I had 41 etn in pending last night, have since  (9 hours later) only been paid 21 with 0.3 left in pending.

I checked their hosting is really on Amazon, and I didn't had any problem of connection until now.
I'm mining with my 580 4GB at 720h/s

ELectrenum.space was great until their recent problem, I got 272 ETN from them, they didn't steal anything from me.
us-etn-pool.hashparty.io was very good but now it's always giving error when connecting if it's connecting at all.
Easy.hash lasted 3 days then connection problems there too and yesterday it wasn't giving me enough ETN, about half of what I get usually.
eu2.electromine.fr was giving me some error connection and even some rejected share so I didn't stay long.

I joined the discord channel of electroneum.space and they have a problem with the server. They are running a back-up now and the admin is working on the missing payouts. Don't really know what's going on, my hashrate only shows half of what it should be.

A lot of pools lost a lot of hashrate because of the Nicehash hack or are down!
But we are still up and consistent in our hashrate!

What hack did i missed something? Electroneum.space looks fine now, my hashrate stated at the pool site reflects my hashrate at my rigs. Payments are consistent. According to the discord chat the admin is still working on the delayed payments.

there seemed to be an issue with the auto 30 minutes payout but this was solved a few hours ago.

everything from the balance that started to pile up was nicely payed out.

earnings seem to have boosted too while I didn't really see an increase of hashrates.

for me stable too, never noticed that it was down so far.

Yesterday the blockchain transactions pool were overloaded and it took a few hours for every payments to be received.

I know others have had different experiences, but I've had FAR greater returns and registered (?) hash rate on the official uspool.electroneum.com.

Stay away from HashParty pool, it is a joke.  They are literally experiencing 30% or more orphan blocks and many of the good blocks are 300%+ luck. 

This pool keeps dropping out, lost a lot of shares. Stay away from this pool !

Pool.Electroneum.Space  started going down out around 9-10 pm GMT.  Few hours later and it was a mess. Up and down, up and down.
Then lost quite a lot of its users and hashrate who switched to the new big player in town.

Who is the new big player in town? I can’t find any reliable pools with this coin.

As soon as a block has been found you'll get a reward!

The reward per block can be up to 7500 ETN!!! which will be shared between the miners
and depending on the work they have done to find the block!

Try to get more miners to the pool as i do, then much more and faster the blocks will be found!

The difference is the amount of miners/hashrate of the pool!

The more miners the often we will find a block and get the reward - and the reward is very high!!

poking my head in here from another pools thread, its the ETN network --  it sucks it will likely take awhile for it to mature and become stable all pools have been having issues whattomine took it down off its site for 1-2 days and put a 30% reduction on the calculator until it stabilizes its been doing this for 1.5 weeks

Yes but so what does it mean the calculator you made to demostrate the daily profitability if the only way we have to earn is to wait for a block is discovered?

This pool is sketchy now. I was getting ~30 ETN per day, and now in the last day only got 12 ETN. Hash rate is the same, and complexity on the network is the same.

Keep on looking for a reputable pool :(

I tried yesterday for 10 hours but my stats not showed. I sent mail and write down on ther twitter page but they dont answer.
I think only big miners mining in there.

I have tried three pools now.

The first electroneum.uax.io - seems to be under constant DDoS attack

The second I tried was pool.electroneum.space  it seemed great, but went down for a while so I tried a third

The third was easy hash.  Easy hash sucks.  I mined hours and got almost nothing.

So, I switched back to space and made more than I did at easyhash for 12 hours in just a couple hours.

Anecdotal, but I will stick with pool.electroneum.space

It's strange that almost all pools have everyday problems. It's probably something on relation electroneum<->miners. Also, I think some time ago difficulty was around 9M, and at the moment it's around 13M. We will be definitely getting less ETN.  :(

Hello, I use recently "https://etn.multipools.club" which is apparently recent with low statistics compared to other "pools" ("http://electroneum.ovh" with whom the reward is 144 ETN / day but a block found every 5 days). For "https://etn.multipools.club" 1 block found every 10 days for now but a reward of 240 ETN / day for my hashrate.
Does this mean that you have to wait at least 10 days to receive your first ETNs and is it worth it to wait so long and / or wait a little longer, the time that other miners join this pool.

Hi All! I just started mining today but I keep getting the following error
'GPU #0: result for nonce $00000 does not validate on CPU!'
I am running a GTX 950 at around 240 H/s. My current graphics driver is 355.69 as the latest one causes the cmd to quite as soon as I try to run it. I'm using a ccminer.

hi can you improve a daemon-host for wallet?

I've been mining ETN for a few days now, but wondered what people with more experience would rather have out of a pool with a few hundred miners, but a very low hash rate or a pool with 10k+ miners and a hash rate around 20 times bigger.

I don't know whether to stick with the pool I'm currently in or switch to one with a higher hash rate.

I personally think that it depends at the end how much that bring to your pocket. If on the big pool you get more, stay there. If on the small pool you get more, you stay on the small pool. Big not always is better.
Stability is also other side of the question. Just keep in mind that at the pool with low hashrate you need to mine at least 60 to 90 blocks to get good statistics.

After mining for a few months, I have realized a few things. The size of the pool makes no difference. It just affects the frequency of payment. Big pools find blocks frequently, so you get your small share of the reward frequently but with small pools you get a big chunky reward at once but it may take days or weeks. However, over a significant period of time, you earn the same.

What's more important is how reliable the pool is. Most pools are highly unreliable and often go down as they don't have competent admins to protect against DDOS or high loads. Some of them don't even record your hashrate correctly. So I say stick with the pools having the highest uptime irrespective of how much fee they charge. A difference of 1% fee won't kill you but frequent downtimes definitely will.

Anybody noticed low earnings last day on space pool?

I noticed big jumps in hashrate in and out , probably due to the nicehak users 'getting' our profits :)

I'm mining on hash party as the OP seemed to quite like it and I must say it's been reliable and pays out just fine. It's just a shame the hash rate has dropped so much on the UK pool that there's only a block every 11 hours or so.

I have my gaming pc running 2 8gb sapphire rx580s i7, Ucrypto was giving me 60/day w/stacker, 3 blocks a day, I was getting 20 per, then they hit 2 orphans in a row a few days back, the whole network hit zero blocks for hours. Eventually I saw the network hitting blocks again, but not Ucrypto. Jumped to spacepools, never been happier. Pulling down 90-100 a day. I'm staying there for a bit, at least a thousand etn. Spacepools for the win.

Their new SUMO pool is only paying 32.x SUMO per block instead of 36.x.   Beware of any pool that says they have "0% fee".

I tried different pools and have found also there is not much difference between hashrate of the pool if you see that pool is able to find at least 10 -20 blocks per 24 hours. After checking several of the pools for best payout I stopped at etn.fairhash.org, I get more then on any other pool I tried sofar. The community there speak russian, but admin speak english if you need help, just wait for him in chat.

I've noticed the same. The pool is doing a lot of extra effort to find blocks. I would also like to hear what is going on.

I moved out from all pools due to a lot of down times and no reliability.

Yes, also noticed it. Some times they take a long time to find a block. I connected half of my miners to etn.nanopool.org and I was able to get better results.

Definitely spacepools has slowed down. I waited 2 days to be sure. You can see in the blocks list huge gaps of 45 minutes to an hour with no blocks. If you scroll way back through the list you can see it started 3 days ago, and it seems to be happening more frequently. And hey ucrypto guy, your pool hit double orphan and freeze for hours two times in 3 days. I respectfully suggest that you have your own issues to adress.

Man I thought I was going crazy these last few days, trying to figure out what was going on. I thought there was something wrong with my miners or that maybe the site had been updating incorrectly. Do you think there's a chance they'll find their way back to normal speeds or maybe it's time to jump ship to another pool?

Is there some sort of problem with Spacepools. They say there is minimum payment threshold of 10 ETN every 60 minutes, but I've recently received payments of 6 & 9 coins, what's going on ?

Yup.  Also, payments aren't as per estimations.  I have been monitoring the payments from this pool for several hours now.  Well this is not the only pool where estimations are no where close to actuals

Same here... I decided to stay away from spacepools.org, would recommend the same to the others ;)

The reason is big time hashers (usually rented hashrates) who come in and out multiple times daily, effectively increasing difficulty and hashrate.
So your revenue drops eventually. do not expect what you earned 1 month back. That time is gone.

Yes and No at the same time. Depends on multiple conditions.
Main factor is the niceha** disruption in the normal organic growth from what I've seen lately.  If we do not take into account smaller pools who do not find blocks that often.

Example.

you are supposed to earn 1.9-2 coins today, slow organic growth of difficulty and hashrate taken into account.
Niceh** user comes in, adds large hashrate for few hours or half a day, your coins drop to 1-1.5 per day for few hours or more. Difficulty also jumps.
This repeats lately quite often for cryptonight coins.   Then you have the number of blocks founds per day, etc, etc.

So in short today you may get 2 coins, tomorrow 1 coin, the next day who knows.
 Either stick with a coin you like and do not care about what comes in or auto-jump on a daily basis. Up to you. Try to find a pool which has at least 10% of the network hashrate.

only 0.1 then... the efficiency is low  and you do not really get what your miner is hashing for.

I have tried it, but at the end of the day the return does not even come close to something like Nanopool, despite they take a 2% fee.

Also Space does not let you mine to exchanges.

It is a pool for believers.

If you cannot beat them, join them.

bigger pools, less rewards = you have to split the block between 1000s of miners...remember that

how does that affect overall coins earned? If luck factor is same on both.
big pool = faster mined coins, less but more frequent rewards
small pool = slow mined coins, more but less frequent rewards

Easyhash.io seems to be worst. Stats show 150 million hashes but they paid me only 25 ETN. 4 blocks had matured by the time i mined. so please stay away from it.

Nonsense.
Actually on a bigger pool like Nanopool you get much better server/network stability and you get more for your mining effort than a smaller pool with lesser hardware or network. There are miners with thousands of GPU working on large pools, that find coins almost every minute or so, they share them all with you.
Also larger pools they are likely to have server in every continent, so you can find a server closer to your location, with shorter lag times you improve your results at the pool.
It is just the way it is.

You need to check miners "traffic" at those big pools.
When traffic goes up on low ETN price, that mean the whales knows some announcement is coming soon, therefore they accumulate ETN.

At the risk of looking like I'm peeing in the punch at the party, isn't the idea of ETN supposed to be opening up mining to the average Joe by using their phone's CPU?
