I cant believe this

bitcoin is about to reach 8000 USD

The recovery is too fast. and there is a high chance for 10,000 USD by end of this year.

I've been watching it on CoinMarketcap as well as Coinbase. It's nuts. I haven't seen it actually crack 8000 yet and it seems to be pulling back a little, but it got close.

It will drop as fast as it came up, like last time.

Far as i know it touched $7870 today, there are only $130 remaining in order to reach that goal  8) if everything goes fine, and people decides to keep their coins instead of selling them at $8000, then the price will still keep going up for some time.
It is obviously going to touch more than $8k tomorrow, and we all agree with that, bitcoin is almost capable of touching all the prices that we all want to happen.
When i saw the speculations about those newbies who said that it was going to touch $10k, i regret about not believing in them, because i blamed them a lot.

Any moment right now bitcoin is gotta to step on the $8,000. I see it step backed a little bit with $7,737 as I saw it at $7,800 still a good price for bitcoin. We are heading to the positive movement of bitcoin charts, make sure that before it comes to another great value you have some on hold.

I just saw an excel that i created on July, and the price was still at $2000 each bitcoin, i still miss those old times because you were able to buy bitcoin for pennies.
If we knew that it was going to make such this pump during this year, i am sure that i was going to sell all my things in order to invest in bitcoin, i was going to earn money + a profit anyway, i really believe in that it will keep going up for a while. But ten thousand dollars is very close to us at the moment, we are going to hit it soon.

I'm so happy and almost cant believe its fast recovery. 10k to 12k is our next destination. I thought we are already defeated by bitcoin cash. So long Bitcoin!

It's my guess that bitcoin will touch at the highest price of $ 8000, and I'll predict the bitcoin price by the end of the year, it's likely to touch at $ 10,000 / 11,000, because nothing is impossible. for bitcoin to keep going up, until Bitcoin actually finds its highest point ... :) ;)

It does not need to drop again, if you wanted to buy, you had a lot of opportunities to do so a few days ago when the price touched a new dip, if you lost that opportunity, then it is your fault and it is upto you to buy right now or just wait until the price reaches more than eight thousand dollars.
If you are going to invest, do it now before it goes up by a lot of money by tomorrow.
It will not drop because everybody and the big whales are trying to push bitcoin to the top.

That's crazy. Now $10 000 by the end of the year looks very realistic. When people were predicting such price, I honestly didn't believed. From $1000 to $8000 in only 11 months. And by the end of the year we may hit annual price growth by 10 times! It's f**king unbeliavable! Well, but year hasn't ended yet, many crazy things still could happen.

The trend is, once BTC has reached a certain high it will drop about once or twice,  or even thrice, but the recovery will gradually happen and it will land at a higher price than its last high. So a lot has been asking if it is wise to invest in BTC at its current rate. My answer is yes! The trend has been happening consistently for about 4 months now and has proved something...that BTC price will keep rising due to increasing demand. So every little bit of sats would matters due to the increasing value.

It's also my expectation.Bitcoin will actually reach $8k and now it's very near to possibility.And hopefully it will totally hit $10k before new year.No doubt for bitcoin because even it had experienced downfall few days ago,people continue to trust it that's why today it's soaring high again.

Looks like it's better to buy ETH now instead of bitcoin.

It is 7859 for now but yes, it is moving up pretty fast. But I still think that 10 000$ till the end of the year gona be a bad sign. 2k$+ growth for a month is still a bit growth so we gona have a stronger correction. Hold on guys.

That was a great news! I can't believed that btc will recover very fast as what I've expected after it's big drop due to bch. With this fast rate, it seems that some predictions about reaching 10k would not be hard to become possible :) . I'm so glad that btc is rising again, I made the right decision to hold my remaining btc.

The party is just beginning. Unfortunately the only ones who will celebrate at the end of the day are the big speculators who have made bitcoin their hostage. Within a few days of repeated pump and dump that has been continuously observed, we will realize that this game is severely damaging the credibility of bitcoin despite the temporary gains that we could enjoy.

Seems $10k  per bitcoin is possible before the end of this year.  Bitcoin never ceases to amazed its community.  See how low it got and see how high it rebounds.  That is Bitcoin! in every drop there is always a tendency to break its ATH when it rebounds.  History keep repeating itself with Bitcoin.

As of now, it is not yet $8000 but it is possible that it will reach to $8000 because the price is already $7834.64 as of this moment. I think it will really reach to $8000 probably tomorrow or the next day. This is a very great news for us because we can have a lot of income now since the price of bitcoin raise to the highest price and we will have a good life.

I am expecting that bitcoin will reach the highest level @$10000 at the end of this year. But definitely in trading, there is no permanent since btc is very unstable it can pump and dump at the same time. What's important is we know how to handle it.

I can't believe this, the last time I check bitcoin price is about $6000 plus then now it is almost $8000. And now BCH is down at $900, what a quick change! No doubt that bitcoin will reach $10,000 at the end of this year.

Those who failed to buy at sub $3000 will certainly regret their decision of not buying at that time.  Who would have ever think that after that dip Bitcoin will rally to this high.  I am really surprise of the fast recovery of the price, and made me think there is something shady happening on the market.  Or was it just me?

Bitcoin continues to increase and my friends also say that Bitcoin will reach $ 10,000 by the end of the year

In 2 days the price increased from 6500$ to 7900$. In a few hours the price will reach 8000$ wich is amazing but there is a problem.
The price cant increase everyday without stopping because it would grow to infinity. After the price reaches a certain amount will start falling for a few days then it will increase back to the original value and higher.
If we look at the charts that's what happened every time the price dropped. I increased back even higher. So we got to expect in next weeks a period where the price will start falling

A lot of people seem to think it will reach $10k by the end of the year, and I see many people commenting on here the same thing. It is still showing strong growth!

There will definitely be a very big party happening this coming December, before this bountiful year 2017 will come to a close. I believe that Bitcoin will easily reach $10,000 within this year. We will be hitting $8,000 in a short while and then $9,000 in the remaining days in this month of November or early days in December. And the rest of the days, Bitcoin will slowly climb to reach a new All Time High in $10,000. And then we'll raise our glasses for a toast!  8)

On GDAX currently there is about 300 BTC between now ($7967) and $8000, and another 300 BTC wall at $8000. Will be interesting to see if they hold or crumble.

Yes institutional money is coming in, and will continue to do so.  However in the short term, maybe next year, I think this will increase volatility rather than lower it.  The reason is that you have lots of big fish coming in to a very small pond.  I can't say when but I expect the price to go up significantly even from here, but I don't want to be too optimistic.  I still am in a state of disbelief at the current prices!

I just see the price of bitcoin at coinmarketcap and its price is 7966$ so lets just wait for few hours maybe or a day for the price to reach the 8k$ mark. If this trend continues, we will see a 9k$ price of bitcoin at the end of the year.

It is happening. Yes BTC price is going up and up.. Just now its 8k! It will be 10k soon, before new year i guess. Nowadays everyone is talking about BTC and many more people buying BTC. So the price should and will go up.

That's indeed great despite of the things where Bitcoin gone through especially the downfall moments. Bitcoin was able to reach 8000$ even if the hardfork was cancelled and even if its market value recently and suddenly fell. This is something to look forward with and maybe it will be able to reach 10000$ next month of before this year end.

I hope that its value increases within the days. Although, I am not so sure that it will be like this for a long time. I am kind of afraid that suddenly, BTC drops to 5k USD or something. That will be terrible, from certain points of view.

I am so happy I have .025btc in my wallet and I got excited seeing it going up from time to time. I made a good decision not to convert them and hold for a short time now I can earn additional income just by keeping my bitcoin. No, you are wrong, this is bitcoin not bitcoin cash.
Bitcoin probably will never fall bellow 6100 again, unless some FUD causes panic selling.
Now, next target is 11k, that will reach in few months, i hope before march.
Of course there is always a correction that can drop to 7400~7600k, or it can breaks the resistance and go above.

Bitcoin's recovery speed is incredibly unbelievable! I was missed when it reached 5500 USD, but managed to grab some more around 6500 USD.

I think there still gonna be a drop thats gonna happen before the end of the year if you look at previous ups and down. With this coming end of the year many annoucement will come up regarding upcoming changes next year that might cause that little drop.

Why are you so surprised? Bitcoin is veryyy popular now so it is not surprising that his price is so high. Yes, it may be even higher by the end of the year because almost all economists anticipate it. But the economy is an unpredictable thing where everything can change at one point.

This is not an incredible message. It is true that Bitcoin 8000 USD is going to rise. In the coming years, USD 10000 will reach the target. The minimum interval will reach 10000 USD but there will be small downloads. It's time for investors to get more profit. Bitcoin value will be rising. :)

Yes, bitcoin is nearly hitting $8000, but for it to cross that benchmark it must break the level of the highest high( $8000) that was hit before the cancellation of SegWit2x if this level can broken then the journey will continue till $10,000 although there may some little correction or pullback but definitely it will hit $10,000.

Looks bitcoin is having hard time to reach $8,000 soon. Just like before when we are all hoping that it will be having another ATH. The struggle is real and it was like a suspense thriller because dips happened during those times. But still in summary, this price can be reached soon and we have to tune in and hold as many bitcoin as you can. And while waiting for that day, if I were you I won't buy any pump and dumps today and will just wait it get to that price.

Actually, it is already close to 10K, if you add the value of coins such as Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold and other future clones. I got free BCH coins in August and they are still in my wallet. If you add up the BCH and BTG value then the net worth of 1 BTC is close to $9,500 right now.

I dont think so. The network is very slow actually. And thats not good for the image of the bitcoin. If they dont do something to rise the speed of the bitcoin, they will be a big dump to end of the year.

I think the 8000 usd mark of bitcoin could be possible if there are going to have a sudden change on the current movement of the stock of bitcoin in market of altcoins. I was monitoring the price growth of btc on coinmarketcap from few days and now it has reached almost $8000 or a minimal amount behind which will be crossed soon and if the holders hold the bitcoin for a long period by not selling at current price then this trend would lead btc price to the peak within this year

lol, this situation is really look like 2-3 weeks before when Bitcoin price have a deep fall to about 3k$ and recovered to 6k+$ instantly in just next 2 days. And yes, I would predict bitcoin will get peak at 9k$ at the end of this year and even more because there are no bad news about it recently, thats mean nothing can hold it back.

There will be a correction, no doubt. The question is, from what price level and, consequently, to what level. These sharp spikes are completely unpredictable, it may rise to $9k or $10k, or the price may start dropping right now. A drop to $6k from $8k is possible, to $5k, I think, is already unlikely (but also not impossible).

A correction of that size (5k) would require some decently bad news I think. For example, the last dip to 5500 was when the 2x fork was called off. Small price dips down to 7000-7500 are more likely over the coming days IMO.

Yes, Bitcoin is about to reach 8000 USD but not yet. It's value is still around 7800 USD. If Bitcoin reach the 8000 USD , it will touch 8800 dollar and fall back to 6800 dollar.

The current price stands at $7800, its only about $200 to get to $8000 so the likelihood of crossing it is very high at the moment. Bitcoin went beast mode after the challenge that was put up by Bitcoin Cash and its look like they just agitated it. LOL. Bitcoin Cash just above $1000 still and still trying to fight back however, most of the investors have already shifted to Bitcoin and once Bitcoin Cash went below and go to $800, I'm sure Bitcoin will likely crossed $8000. No it's not reaching 8000$ yet but near to that...I always believe that bitcoin will gain its strength to reach there where people will never imagine.. I think at the end of the year it will reach 10000$.. & next year... people will see...  ;D

I really have no doubt in Bitcoin's price. Many users who are just new to bitcoin gets easily swayed by the sudden dump of bitcoin because they don't know how it really works. Bitcoin'd price will continue to rise regardless of how many dumps occur so the $10,000 price is rrally possible by the end of the year.

This is really annoying if the price fall again to 6800 i will buy more bitcoin because the recovery of bitcoin are really awesome now it can really reach the 8000$ so very suprise to watch at coinmarketcap many people continue to believe in bitcoin potential Im very happy because I buy bitcoin when the price are dump :D

Im really excited about bitcoin reaching near 8000.. i liquidated most but still hold some just recently. But something is not right here, extra minted usdt to support of inflate bitcoin price? Does this sound like organic growth?
Anyways if someone can chime in how more usdt minted to support the price of bitcoin would have any negative affect on bitcoin?

Well maybe, it's just a matter of time. The last time I checked it was already $7,900. So just $100 more and boom another all-time high. Why it's soaring high right now, the Bitcoin Segwit2x hard fork was canceled, right? I was just confused about this coz I received an email from coinbase and a part of it says that a small number of miners may attempt to go forward with a fork. So there's a chance that this fork might push through. Will this might be one of the reasons?

Yes, it might hit $10000 at the end of this year especially that there's an upcoming fork this December, which is the bitcoin silver. Not sure yet if it will really going to happen, haven't read an update about this after reading that announcement.

I don't think there is a chance that BTC will hit 10.000 by the end of the year. It will hit 10.000 USD, definitely. 2017 was BTCs year, 2018 will be the year for the altcoins. 

The recovery is so fast, i sold mine bitcoins at 7500$ hopping to get it back at around 5500$ but i was wrong.

Its was fast when some bitcoin reach the price 8000 this will lead to 10000 USD before the year end maybe there is change in the price when the fork is coming in december it will decrease a little bit but it will increase time to time after the fork. Do you think that will happen.

The price of bitcoin is still fighting and trying to break the resistance at the price of 8,000 USD and that is not simple for bitcoin to make it happen because that is a strong resistance in the market but i think after a few days or weeks, we can see the price of bitcoin that will get stabilize in 8,000 USD range and it will continue to climb up to 20,000 USD.

well, Today bitcoin price 7683.44$. here possibility to hit 8k$ in the end of this year. But i don't think so it will hit 10k$ by the end of the year. But bitcoin is a highly volatile currency so anything can be happened.

In last four months value of bitcoin increased as far as lambo.  :) We can not know definite price of bitcoin in the end of 2018. But you are right about your prediction. If it continues increasing like past months, it may be 10000 dollars by the end of this year.

Just as we all expected to specially to bitcoin investors. It just shows that bitcoin favors the brave and that what they say about the advantage to investing to bitcoins are real and not just a scam. I even believe that it would reach the predicted 1 btc = 1 lambo.

Well, bitcoin is really getting stable day by day so I am really happy that it recovers really fast. I'd really hope that bitcoin will reach 10k$ heights before the end of the year. I am really excited right now and am eager to see what will happen at the end of this year.

Currently, we're at 7965 in coinmarketcap as I am typing this reply and it's juat a matter of time we will really be at 8K. It's already midnight here in our country and I think there's no way I'm gonna sleep before I see that ATH. Can you imagine we're still halfway through November but we can easily achieve those numbers. So now I am really expecting 10K by the end of the year. Given that there will not be any problem and people will stay focused and keep hodling.

In past hour I checked itbwas already 7.9k my friend told me it even reaches 8k, wow what a surprise. 10k is really possible this year thats what everyone is hoping for. After that 5.6k struggle from last week due to alt coins demand, although its slowly pulling back but were back again at 7.8k. I have never seen such a resistance point before, but for the third time it touched $ 8,000 and the price dropped again. There are huge sales.

It just a matter of  movement on the stock of bitcoin in the market. It is really amazing to see how bitcoin price and value change constantly depending on the people transactions. And if you are going to see , technology is also a big part for bitcoin development becasue it is a way peoole would know the information about Bitcoin and how the system of Bitcoin in terms of transactions  and investments really works.

It is not a new thing to see the price of bitcoin not able to cross the resistance level,if you look in the past the price was really struggling to go past $1000 for a very long time and it took a while to breach that resistance point and when only last December we started seeing bitcoin crossing every resistance with ease.

Now the price is 7600$,yesterday it was 7900 $.Why this occurred? Due to fluctuations of price. Since bitcoin is a digital currency, fluctuations of price is quite common. But I am sure,at this year end the price of bitcoin may Crossed the 10k$ barrier and aim for the next barrier of 12k$.

These corrections are quite normal in bitcoin price. It happens all the time. The most important thing is that it keeps minimum of price somewhere above 7600$ which is good for us. There is nothing to be furious about, in fact you should be exited because  bitcoin is now more valuable than ever. This value help you make more money.

It's impressive right that bitcoin has recovered quickly? And now the price is at $7,700 though I've seen it very close to $8,000 at $7,900 still this is a very nice price to keep on holding. Well bitcoins has already recovered from the drop due to cancellation of Segwit2x and has reached almost $8000 if it keep on rising in this rate i think that bitcoins will soon hit $10k by end of this year.But also that bitcoins has increased too much in small amount of time so it can fall after correction.This year bitcoins went from $900 to almost $8000 which is a huge rise this year was great for bitcoins and others coins to like ethereum.Who would have thought that bitcoins could have reach this high.

I do not see the price of Bitcoin reaches $8000, i've cheked marketcap and for now only hit $7763.31. But i guess that exactly will reaches $8k by the end of this year. It'll be but not at the moment, price 8k$ is still a big barrier that Bitcoin need to get over. It is totally quite possible to happen before year end. I knew a lot of people wondering and being amazed of what is going on to bitcoin. Reaching by $7k+ after fork cancellation is totally( I called it crazy moment) a great achievement of bitcoin. Most people would be looking to just lock in some profits at that point, I don't think there is anything significantly different for the average joe to realize from such an event other than their specific asset becoming worth a lot. But you never know, the power of greed may overcome a portion of folks and everyone might continue to hoard more of it as they see the price going up constantly. I would think most people would consider selling during downturns rather than selling at a high point like that.

I'll retain my position of saying that $10k by the end of the year is unlikely, but I will never say that it is impossible.

Personally for me, it doesn't matter much. I am holding less than 1 BTC. Even now, if I sell all my coins I will receive around $5,000 in fiat cash, which is not enough for doing anything significant. I am waiting for 100K.

For the past 2-3 days, the exchange rates are going up and down within the $7,500 - 8,000 range, with Bitcoin cash in the $1,000 - 1,500 range. The combined price of both BTC and BCH is roughly stable, at around $9,000 per coin. Another thing I have noticed is that when the BTC price is going up that of BCH is going down, and vice versa.

What I have noticed is that the value of bitcoin doesn't take a lot of time to go up or to go down even, as a matter of fact, bitcoin can reach $8500 or even more by the end of the day, and $10 000 by the end of the week. Two things to keep in mind, there will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin (actually less due to loss locked up or lost coins) and Wall Street investors are starting to take notice with traditional clearing houses such as the CME are getting involved.

Yesh surely this is because the hype is reached into whole market that bitcoin is reaching 10K and due to that a chain of event has started where people are continuously infesting money into bitcoin. Also, the BCH matter is closed now and the money which was previously flowed into it is now turning back to bitcoin again. There was almost 10 million USD market cap captured from the bitcoin by BCH and now things back to normal. So many of the good reasons for bitcoin getting pump. Also do not forget Christmas is coming and people want big profits to enjoy so this is like a hope thats pushing the bitcoin market further which is very good thing.

Right now Bitcoin seems to be engaged in a fierce fight with Bitcoin Cash. Whenever the Bitcoin prices are rising, the exchange rate of BCH is going down. I think that the strong support for BCH is the reason why Bitcoin has found it tough to cross the 8K mark, till now. BCH has overtaken BTC (as far as volumes are concerned) in certain countries such as South Korea.

That's absolutely great. Bitcoin already reached a price of 8000 USD few days ago but its value dropped because of its volatility. But I am still expecting that before this year end, it will be already priced at 8000 USD or even more especially if the increase will continue. But I am not expecting a  value of 10000 USD at the end of this year because the major factor that will make it happen was already cancelled.

Right now it is the beginning of bitcoin. This can be up to $10000 / - in the coming time. The one who will keep it for long time will benefit greatly. bitcoin is magic maker to increase the wealth of investment. Difficulty level of bitcoin mining is increasing it means bitcoin demand will automatically very high.

I should congratulate those people that managed to buy bitcoin while it is at dip. The price went up real quick and from $5,900 now to $8,200 that was an easy $2,300. Bitcoin at present showing signs of price decrease. Yesterday the price was above $8200 and now it has gone down to $8000. Hope the price will soon start moving high reaching $8000 and the same might tend to reach $10000 before the year end as most users speculated.

Truly that Bitcoin is reaching it's highest potential and has almost reached 8000 USD nowadays. Of course most of us hope that bitcoin will increase all the more its values. Bitcoin has a very competitive nature amongst other alternative coins of course. People nowadays delights on investing on bitcoin since it has been marketed well around the world. No wonder this can reach more than 10000 USD in the next few months.

Bitcoin will grow and grow till there is no negative news or govt intervention.But I don't think any Govt likes to lose taxes,encourage underground economy or even fiat currency devaluation.Bitcoin transactions are anonymous and will be harder for any govt enforce rules
But once govt starts to crack whip,bitcoin may come down crumbling.So,invest wisely and be cautious

I think the 8000 usd mark of bitcoin could be possible if there are going to have a sudden change on the current movement of the stock of bitcoin in market of altcoins. It's a happy news for many investors including myself.I was waiting to further raise then only I can get some dollars,who gives you additional dollars by just holding it for couple of weeks.

Me too, I can't believe it. I did not see it coming. It takes only a week to recover and not just recover but to surpass the last highest price it reached. I was so shocked / surprised about it. But it a good thing. I know everybody want it. So happy for it is not a dream. Because of what happened I also believe and my doubt is fading that bitcoin can reach $ 10,000 high before this year totally end. I counted the days to go, it is 39 days before January 2018, still lots of day to go through lots of thing possible to happen but I do not see any reason for now for bitcoin price to drop, maybe again after a week bitcoin will pump then reach $ 10,000. I will be able to easily get back my losses if that happened. If this thing continue to happen, what more will be the price of the bitcoin in the next coming years? Reach $ 100K easily ? Who knows.

what hard fork? There is going to be no hardfork in the nearest future and moreover we didn't see any price decrease during the hardforks. Rather, the new token created value out of thin air (and that is why it was called air dropped coins ;) )

yes it reached the $8000 and many opportunities will be given to us. I hope it continue to rise and stabilize as well in the future. I expect that the price of bitcoin ($8000) will stay in that way and no more going back below. I also hope that before the year end it will reach $9000 or higher.

For me, the $8500 will be possible to move forward at the end of this year. But we have to remember that the bitcoin price is not stable. At anytime, the current price will goes up or goes down. In other words, no one can exactly predict it's exact price. We have to accept that fact that business is just like a game. You might be lose anytime or you might be win so don't expect too much.

Glad to hear bitcoin reaches 8000 USD. Its a great news for bitcoin users especially for those who invest with bitcoin buy it and holding it. Most of predectors said the price will touch at 10,000$ in December so maybe, we should hold our bitcoin more in order to gain more profit.

Currently, we're at 8120 in coinmarketcap as I am typing this reply and it's juat a matter of time we will really be at 8K. It's already midnight here in our country and I think there's no way I'm gonna sleep before I see that ATH. Can you imagine we're still halfway through November but we can easily achieve those numbers. So now I am really expecting 10K by the end of the year. Given that there will not be any problem and people will stay focused and keep hodling.
