The high transaction costs will be a big obstacle for bitcoin to become a payment channel, in my opinion it will become an investment channel. And last up to 10,000 usd is possible

It'll be but not at the moment, price 8k$ is still a big barrier that Bitcoin need to get over. But I think if there are nothing will happen and affect to Bitcoin price in good way I think it'll not easy for Bitcoin price to get over this peak in this year and it'll last until next year. As you can see at the moment Bitcoin price is going down a little bit to under 7k8$. Maybe China is allowing ICO again is the reason for this one.

I do not see the price of Bitcoin reaches $8000, i've cheked marketcap and for now only hit $7763.31. But i guess that exactly will reaches $8k by the end of this year. For the past few days Bitcoin has always surprised us with unpredictable prices. Hopefully this could be for Bitcoin known to many people and to be recognized by other countries.

It is totally quite possible to happen before year end. I knew a lot of people wondering and being amazed of what is going on to bitcoin. Reaching by $7k+ after fork cancellation is totally( I called it crazy moment) a great achievement of bitcoin. And I believe that, it will attract more people/investors to be part of this unstoppable coin investment. And I know that there's still a lot of more coming and all we need is to enjoy the moment we have right now.

8000 USD is a big wall but I think If bitcoin reach 8500 usd, it can reach 10000 usd in beginning of 2018. Then, it may decrease again.

It is possible that at some other BitCoin trading platforms, it has reached $ 8,000, but in Bittrex, most of my Bitcoins are there, I place a sell order at $ 8000 and they do not match.

Bitcoin value was a little bit too close to $8000 I think one big step and they can reach it. On the other side, even bitcoin price can't reached $8000 I was still support it.
But I believe that on 2018 bitcoin value were totally achieve the $10,000 hopefully. I still hold my bitcoin for their future value.

Bitcoin is so expensive because of its demand that continues to rise. Bitcoin will surely reach 10,000$ before this year end if its demand continue to rise. It is a possible event that might occur this year.

Now The Price of 1 btc is $7,700,No one can stop bitcoin its unstopabble, hoping  for another bull run I guess it will soon reach $10,000 probably at the end of 2017. I will buy some more when the price goes down a bit.

Yes maybe it can happen, bitcoin is not predictable but that is the pleasure that is in it. For new players may be very confused why the price can go up and down very fast, just like me.

$10,000 by the end of the year will be a historic moment in bitcoin.  At that level I think it would be hard for the average person not to sell a chunk of the stack.

Most people would be looking to just lock in some profits at that point, I don't think there is anything significantly different for the average joe to realize from such an event other than their specific asset becoming worth a lot. But you never know, the power of greed may overcome a portion of folks and everyone might continue to hoard more of it as they see the price going up constantly. I would think most people would consider selling during downturns rather than selling at a high point like that.

I'll retain my position of saying that $10k by the end of the year is unlikely, but I will never say that it is impossible.

Personally for me, it doesn't matter much. I am holding less than 1 BTC. Even now, if I sell all my coins I will receive around $5,000 in fiat cash, which is not enough for doing anything significant. I am waiting for 100K.
