We have seen the great development of Bitcoin in 2017 and the slump in the gold market this year. I think people will be more inclined to buy Bitcoin as it is a well known digital medium and will be considered as the most valuable asset.

Everyone is hoping that each year the price of BTC grows and the portfolio values also grow along with it. Also the other altcoin grows along with it and most important the countries make it a legal in their country without which it would be difficult for btc to grow and adopt by the masses.

If countries start legalizing it then the cryptoworld for sure will explode, but we will get there. I hate bank transfers which sometimes take days to transfer overseas, Crytpo is the solution for all these problems.

How blindly you are think that in positive way but the these political minded corporates will use the bitcoin and then they will give more fees to transfer the fund what you are seeing now. Bitcoin regulates with the financial rules you will face failure for sure.
Cryptos should be taken like accepting how Japanese done with that adoption bitcoin as legal. European shit corporates will give bad work on it, that should not happen.

with all the new markets that are opening for bitcoin, the doors are opening to a whole new group of people who never knew about bitcoin before this or even if they knew, they were scared because it seemed strange. now it will look as it should, a solid currency to buy and invest in.
all that fresh money that is going to come in bitcoin will help the growth a lot. hopefully we see more adoption among merchants on top of the price rise. $15k will be a start.

A lot happen in 2017. We got bitcoin price raise from 1000$ to 7500$ and we got 2 soft forks and as a result got Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold. A lot of altcoins and ICO were introduce this year. Many countries accepted bitcoin as a legal currency and many existing and new countries accepted bitcoins this   Year . 2018 will take all the growth from the current year and move it one step ahead. Time will proof if 2018 is the best year or now, but for now 2017 is the best year for bitcoins.

I am also excited about 2018 because privacy and personal data protection regulation. ((EU) 2016/679) definitely a landmark at cyberspace.

I moved away from stocks into crypto world this year as I had a very bad time(losses) there. hope to make some money back , Iam already up as I only stuck with the top coin BTC.

'Slow and steady win the race' goes a popular slogan bitcoin had been making a new higher high slowly climbing up from $1000 up to $8000 before cancellation of SegWit2x  this year gradually a new higher high will be formed till a highest high $15,000  will be attained in year 2018 by God's grace.

2018 will come with lots of possibilities for bitcoin. If that is any consolation, I see a lot of "about to" "going to" happening in real sense where the proposed adoption of bitcoin by businesses, counties, organisations coming into fruition. A lot of forks too are expected to happen which will shook the community and discussions will be around them for a while.

Not forgetting the challenges that will be faced as well, because the above happenings will equally come at a cost. With so many KYC shutting a lot of people out of using intermediaries that focus will be on peer to peer platforms with government also coming from its own end but in all, its a great year to look up to.

We sure will have a great year, lots of news and the price will go up a lot, more than 10k with ease.

Yeah of course hoping for the same. But with the highly fluctuating price value it will be difficult to reach 15000$ and also considering the hard forks that will come in next year.

It will be so easy to use. Imagine being able to send small transactions fast and free. Newbies will no longer complain about their small transactions getting stuck on the blockchain. Once all of this is set up we will hit $20,000 easily.

There might be a dip next year after all this rally, but no worries for there will be another ATH later I suppose
We just have to follow the news, the fundamental of our portfolio to know when exactly to cash out and when exactly to cash back in

Year 2017 has already been a great success for bitcoin as well as etherum and other crypto currencies. We all have great hopes form year 2018 maybe we will see some other powerful cryptocurrencies as well as bitcoin will reach to new heights.

Think that in next year Bitcoin and altcoins as well will only increase their popularity. More people will start mining. Results of this might be very different. I don't even try to forecast.

I really think that is possible and so do a lot of really smart people. With futures next month, it sets the stage for ETFs...and ETFs are what the general public will see as their opportunity to get into bitcoin. Eventually, financial firms are going to need to facilitate investment into bitcoin, as their customers will see the gains and learn more about it. Bitcoin itself will keep improving with lightening network, privacy options, etc. It's really exciting and I agree that 2018 is going to be fun to watch. It's never a straight shot upward though, it's always going to be bumpy, but, at least with btc, the best devs are involved and the greatest number of people are invested in its success. It's the best and safest bet in the speculative crypto market, imo.

What do you think about the price movement,what values are you expecting,it is really true that no one ever predicted these sort of valuation this fast,even i used to brush off wild predictions about $4000 last year but one thing you must understand is that no market could keep rising so fast without having a major correction ,so never expect the same sort of grown every year. ;D

No one can predict but hope. I would hope it goes up to 15k-20k next year and I have 10+ BTC at such time  :P

2017 was already awesome, 700% increased is not but isn't it? I haven't seen any market that increases so much, 2017 is just the beginning and wait till 2018 has to offer. Maybe $15000 is possible and even more. I'm expecting a great year for bitcoin, specially if CME will start next year. And the popularity of bitcoin could double or even triple in 2018 so its hard to imagine what will be the price around first quarter, maybe we are in $15000 by  that time.

I think it will be another huge year for Bitcoin, this year it has not only gained attention through its popularity but also earned a lot of people's trust. It's always hard to predict what will happen in BTC market but I see there's plenty of reasons and signs to get our hopes high.

This year completely surprised me. What are at now 800% ROI? Nothing gives you 800% ROI and the financial freedom that comes with bitcoin. I think this was an amazing year so the next year will be slow and steady. I hope not, but we can't gain 900% a year. There aren't enough people in the world to sustain that for very long!

To see an increase in price every year is not a realistic situation,right now the alt coin market is dumped and dusted and i would like to see some sort of rally in that market as all the investors has taken a dent when the price of bitcoin started its rally,there will be good news coming when the derivatives market starts trading bitcoin which could rally the price further.

Yeah 2018 is the year of "mooning" In my point of view, lots of crypto currencies will go boom sky high to the moon. Bitcoin could be more than $15,000 dollars on 2018 and will shock again the world.  ;D ;D

I actually have this feeling it will be, I mean just in my personal life a huge amount of my friends and family are asking about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and getting largely involved with it and I imagine I am not the only one, plus I've so much growth on YouTube and Twitter with crypto.

Well it will inevitably happen. What I am hoping next year is to be successful with bitcoin regradless of its price since its been to years now but im still not feeling my progress.

Bitcoin is waiting for regulation and taxation next year. This year, it has been a good year for bitcoin because in the start of the year the price of bitcoin is around 1k$ only but now we are near the end of the year and its price has almost reached the 8k$ mark already. I know that this will continue next year so lets wait for it and enjoy. I hope next year will be good for the alts too. Kampai!!!.

I am very sceptical about $15K level within next year but considering the sharp ups and downs in the year 2017, I think $10K would be a smooth milestone for Bitcoin to reach within a time span of 1 year from now. No doubt, Bitcoin is going to perform very well in the coming years but we still need a mass awareness to avoid the things like panic selling/buying which affects the market conditions. The growth and positive perception about Bitcoin are contributing for the sustainable growth of it and no doubt, it will continue in the year 2018.

I have been around for quite a while, so I am being more cautious. The year 2017 reminds me of 2013. In 2013 also, the exchange rates went from $10 per coin to $1,000 per coin. And in 2017, the increase was from $1,000 per coin to $8,200 per coin. I just don't want what happened in 2014 to repeat in 2018.

I hope so too. $15000 will likely happen on the 4th quarter of next year if the trend continues like what we are experiencing now.
