I'm not sure it's 100% illegal. Plus it's illegal where? In the USA? Europe? Africa? Middle East? The seller and most buyers probably aren't even American.

These are probably not blackmarket drugs. They are from countries that legally produce these drugs and legally sell them without prescriptions. I'd guess it's not even illegal on his end but might be illegal on your end if you're in the USA. For most of the other countries in the world, I'd guess this isn't even illegal. There's 1,000s of sites who will sell you, and mail you these exact drugs all over the world. Of course Schedule II drugs are highly illegal but these aren't Schedule II. I doubt the DEA would give two shits if you called them and told them you were buying Zoloft from some dude in Poland.

Hi Greyhawk. It was a Ciba product but the patent is long expired I believe. In that case, who could BD "license" it from? Now that is not to say that BD didn't run afoul of the local regulatory authorities in Thailand. In that case, license revoked. LOL. But highly profitable businesses in third-world countries rarely lose a license. In some cases they are convinced by the authorities to pay more to the "authorities".

The anabolic steroid market is full of rip-offs. One post that I read on UK Muscle comes to mind; I had it saved on my PC for quick recall. It is not meant to be a reference, but rather to show just how difficult a market this is to navigate for the typical consumer.

This month, I’d like to take another look at the quality of anabolic steroid products and ancillary drugs on the black market. As anyone who studies the illicit anabolic steroid trade knows, high demand and huge profits offer strong incentive for the manufacture of counterfeit drugs. Over the years, this segment of the illegal business has grown exponentially. What was once a problem largely isolated to the United States, counterfeit steroids can now be found in literally every corner of the globe. Counterfeiting is a phenomenon not isolated to anabolic steroids, of course, and is commonly seen when the significant sales of anything valuable are diverted from legitimate to underground sources. Given the nature of drug products, however, the counterfeit steroid phenomenon is an especially important health concern to drug-using bodybuilders. As the number of these products grows, so too does the number of reports of low or no product efficacy, or worse— health consequences including abscess, infection, anaphylaxis and heavy metal contamination.

Whenever analysis studies come along that offer us a small cross-sectional view of what is being actively traded (and consumed) on the black market, I always like to report on them. This month, we have the opportunity to review a particular good report from Germany. It covers the analysis of 70 different anabolic steroids and ancillary drug products at the Center for Preventative Doping Research in Cologne. All of the samples analyzed in this report were obtained during police raids of three illegal dealers of anabolic steroids. While this is not a set of tests from the United States (where most readers of this column reside), I believe the results are still very relevant, especially when you consider that Western Europe is known for less stringent controls and the greater availability of legitimate steroid drugs than the United States. In other words, the results should have been at least as bad had they been conducted in the United States.

The Results

Included in this article are the results of the study separated by drug type. I felt upon review that it allowed a somewhat interesting view of the “relative confidence” one could have for a particular type of steroid or drug, at least according to the numbers in this small report. It is important to emphasize that while a fairly large sample for this type of analysis, 70 drug products taken from three dealers is not sufficient to prove any specific market trend, overall counterfeit prevalence or brand legitimacy. Still, as we find in the results, counterfeiting is still very much alive and well and is an issue Germans have to deal with just as do Americans.

Not just the anabolics market either. WHO is currently doing a project getting statistics on counterfeit medicine. One part of the study was released two weeks ago showing that more than 60% of drugs sold in Nigerian pharmacies are actually counterfeit. :-\

That's a really good point. And where there is profit, there will be deception. Because of the high price of Viagra in Thailand it is one of the most-faked drugs. Why folks don't use Kamagra, which is the same product but made in India, is beyond me. I just used a Kamagra today and I can tell you unequivocally that it works. :)

One reason I like the Unigen products- beside the fact that they are human-grade- is that you can log-in to their website and verify the numbers on your packaging. This is not the ultimate solution for 100% confidence, but it does make a big difference as AAS users tend to utilize the tools available to them to ensure they are not injecting viruses, bacteria, or totally useless oil into their muscles!!!! The serial-numbered carton seals on each vial are also very nice.

Yeah, this is the most viable solution right now. But as you say it is not 100% (see GenSci Jintropin, where the fakers have actually set up a different website for "authenticating" their counterfeit products) ::)

There's a industry conference coming up on security solutions to deal with counterfeits. But so far from what I can see it's just going to be an opportunity for different providers of ID verifiers to show their (exact same) products.

What's needed is something people can not easily get their hands on. UV print, holograms, websites are all too easily reproduced.

Funny story on holograms, btw: I had a guy that absolutely insisted his gear was legit, "because it has a hologram on it, see. It must be real."

LOL- yes, that's right!!! And don't forget that after the steroid cycle they will need products for post-cycle therapy like Nolvadex and Clomid. You want the balls to puff up again and start producing testosterone at their pre-cycle level.

Because there is a lag between the testosterone that you were injecting leaving the body and the body realizing what is going on and producing its own, erectile dysfunction drugs do a great job of picking up the slack.

A guy who is injecting testosterone gets used to the extra libido and the strong boners so he can get down when this goes away. Even if he is only a few weeks from being "normal"- from the testes doing their job and getting the hormone levels back up- it's of little consolation to a guy whose significant other is used to that extra attention. Thank God we have sildenafil!

Cenbuterol- the size zero pill- is most tolerated and most effective when "cycled". Here are a couple of examples of clenbuterol cycles, but you can create your own as well based on how you feel and how well you tolerate the side effects.

Clenbuterol, when used for its fat-burning properties is best used in a "pyramid scheme" as shown in the large blue graphic above.

It's best to start from 20 mcg (0.02mg) to 40 mcg per day and slowly work your way up increasing the dose every 3 days by 20 mcg, to a maximum of 120-160 mcg. Most users find 80 mcg to be adequate.

Users that report bad side effects and discontinue use are often those who use high doses right at the start of the cycle. The worst side effects occur within the first 3-4 days of use.

A first time user should not exceed 40mcg the first day. Increase by one tab until the side effects are not tolerable.

Muscle cramps, tremors, and headaches are the most common clenbuterol side effects. Some users report trouble sleeping.

Muscle cramps and tremors are dealt with by drinking 1.5 - 2 gallons of water and consuming bananas, papaya, avacado, or other potassium-rich foods. Use "no salt" instead of salt.

Headaches can easily be treated with acetaminophen. Take it at the first signs of a headache- don't delay. Do not take clenbuterol past 4pm or you might experience trouble sleeping.

On the brighter side, one can expect a feeling of being energized and breathing easily.

If you experience any of these following side effects, reduce your dosage slightly:

   * Nausea
   * Dizziness
   * Drowsiness
   * Tremors
   * Dry Mouth
   * Insomnia
   * Vomiting

If your side effects are severe then discontinue use.

I have been waiting to post a review for a bit because I wasn't sure how to proceed. I really wanted to give flaxceed a rave review, because he is a real, friendly and non-scammy merchant, but there are a few issues I have.

I ordered some Clenbuterol. While the transaction went smoothly and I did receive my goods (always a surprise with bitcoin), it was sent requiring signature confirmation, which is by no means the correct way to ship substances that fall in a legal grey area. I ended up having to pick up the package from the post office, against my better judgement. If this was silkroad or through escrow, I wouldn't have risked picking it up, as that error is on the sender.

As far as the actual package, it was very discrete and unremarkable and would raise no suspicions upon a casual inspection...but how was I to know that before I went in to the PO? I could have been walking in to pick up a bag spilling out pills on the counter.

Regarding the product, it seems to be what it says it is, as I am trembling like a leaf, but the box claims it is from a 'labaratory'(sic) in Switzerland. A quick look at their website and a google search of the lab's name brings up nothing to support the validity of the claim. Searching around some other sites, it appears it is from an underground lab in Thailand. There is no quality control or assay information available, but it is apparent that this drug from this manufacturer is very widely used, so I decided to trust it.

Overall, a success, but the signature confirmation thing has to go.

Mine was a padded envelope as well. Who knows...maybe it is just the way the US post handles it and it's not flaxceed's fault, although that isn't what I gathered from our emails.

What about the misspelling on Randy's Clenbuterol? Can you explain that? I can't believe a genuine lab would misspell a label, this sort of thing is defined and checked in the early stages of mass production and has no reason to change.

Yes, it's an underground lab. They have a good reputation among bodybuilders who use clenbuterol in their "cutting" phase- to get rid of as much body fat as possible to improve muscle definition. There are tons of underground labs, but not all have the same reputation on the bodybuilding forums. You also have to factor in that many labs make this drug and with competition so fierce for bodybuilding dollars, and with the leveling factor of public information on the forums, top labs dose accurately and provide a consistent, sterile product. This particular lab is solid- but they are underground.

Alpha.- no, this is not going to change you if you are going through puberty, and it is a really bad idea to supplement testosterone at this age since your natural testosterone is plenty high at this point. There are a lot of different opinions on the subject but most people say before the age of 25 it is senseless to use testosterone. You also need to have a reasonable physical fitness base and a good background lifting weights in order to get the most benefits.

I have not seen first hand the effects of parrents who illigally obtain these drugs to keep their children alive, only to find out that the drugs they have given their own children are knock-offs that nearly killed their own children. Its not like I have ever bought Insulin (a hormonal drug that can only keep one alive) only to find out that I had bought 10ml of water. I don't think direct-to-consumer marketing has any place in the pharmaceutical business in legal or grey markets. What you are doing just as, if not more, irresponsible than big pharma. You are damning yourself along with the big guys.

Except, he is keeping it in one thread, he is not buying ad spots to the general stupid public that has no need for these medicines, there is no 3 seconds of jibberish of side effects here because we are all online looking at this thread through a web browser that gives the ability to fully research things yourself. I think you need to get a lipid panel because testosterone can elevate your LDL and decrease your HDL levels. I will go further. I think if you have been working out in a gym religiously for a number of years, and you have excellent overall health and nutrition, you might benefit greatly from testosterone. I agree that medicine is in a sorry state in the 'developed world'. But the price difference is not likely to be solely attributed to current insurance practices. Prices of most goods and services vary based the location. I'm sure that a house in suburban, USA would be a couple orders of magnitude cheaper in many other countries. Why should it be any different for medicine?

As far as the assertion that my thread puts the forum at risk, I think you have to consider the amount of work that law enforcement would have to put into this versus the size/severity of the threat. Not unlike a corporation that tries to maximize their return on investment, law enforcement has to direct their efforts efficiently.

Some people have wildly exaggerated ideas of the effectiveness and will of law enforcement. When heroin and crack have overrun American cities, will the DEA really spend precious resources on a guy selling testosterone and diet pills over the internet? Surely if I was doing a massive volume I would become a target. But come on. I'm just not that important to anyone.

This thread has been up a long time. Of course if the moderators don't approve we all have to abide by their decisions. But as far as your scenario of shutting down the forum- that seems highly unlikely. If you look at domains seized by the government, most are torrent sites, gambling sites, and counterfeit goods. If you start seizing forums like this you run into really big problems with free speech protections.

I would very strongly prefer that nobody gets hurt from drugs that I sell. Take testosterone for example. I urge people to test their blood pressure regularly, to get a blood panel, and I talk about the possible effects on HDL and LDL cholesterol. I emphasize sensible dosages, and explain that proper training, diet and sleep are 95% of adding lean muscle mass. Steroids can be the other 5% of the equation if you are a good candidate. Now- do most people seem to follow my advice and act responsibly? Yes, they do. If someone doesn't do anything that I tell them and just uses am unreasonably high dosage of testosterone to build as much muscle as quickly as possible- will I feel bad about their heart attack? Yes. Terribly bad. Will I feel responsible, and think "Oh, if only I had not sold this evil compound!" No, of course not. In many countries testosterone is available OTC- are people dropping like flies in those countries? No.

Remember that the FDA approves drugs that kill people. Sometimes they later change their minds and take them off the market. Does this mean that the FDA is responsible for those deaths? Well, no- not unless there was fraud involved or payoffs to approve the drug. No system is perfect. No doctor or health professional is either. My huge concern is that corporate medicine is putting profits before patients, and it is costing people too much money and in some instances it is costing lives. When we make an honest mistake or miscalculation and someone dies this is very unfortunate. Doctors do this sometimes, as do pharmacists. When we do that in the name of profit it's a shame.

It's easy to get Xanax from a doctor in the West- or at least, it was always easy for me. But I figured out at some point that it was a losing proposition. You take it to relax and your dosage is fine for a month or maybe longer- but at some point you will need to increase the dosage to get the same effect. This is not sustainable- so I stopped. I don't blame the drug company or the doctors that gave me the drug. I'm a grownup. I also figured out that exercise is an amazing way to relax and the more you do the better it is for you. It's the opposite of Xanax. It offers the same relaxation plus lower blood pressure and lower cholesterol and lower chance of heart disease. Positive side-effects instead of negative. That's a no-brainer.

But with a decent diet rich in fruits and vegetables, high in lean protein sources as well as nuts and seeds, and low in processed carbohydrates- you stand a good chance at reducing your weight which means everywhere that excess fat hides. If you add some modest exercise- recommended is 60 minutes of cardio at least five days per week (or start with as little as 15 minutes per day three days per week if you've been sedentary) and clenbuterol, and you most certainly will lose weight quickly. It can't be helped. You will be burning calories faster than you consume them so the fat has to be burned to make up the deficit.

Avoid foods that spike your blood sugar because this can easily and quickly be converted to fat. This includes white rice, plain white bread, cookies, fruit juice, etc. Instead eat brown rice, whole wheat bread, and whole fruits. Fruit juice is just sugar- it has no fiber and the calories are very densely concentrated. Clenbuterol, when used for its fat-burning properties is best used in a "pyramid scheme" as shown in the large blue graphic above.

Hi Mousepotato- that is a tricky question and is highly individual. But I will say this- if your abdominal area is the only place with excess fat, it should be very quick for you because when you have a calorie deficit your body has no other place to get the extra calories- it is forced to steal calories from those fat stores. It's tricky because some people are hypersensitive to carbs while others are not. Marathon runners consume large amounts of carbs but they are generally very thin. We all know people who are 90 years old who eat red meat and pie with ice cream. I vote for balance and ignore fads. Eat small quantities and there is no "bad" food. But get fruit, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins like fish (or fatty fish like Salmon with its omega 3's) daily. Fruit does not exist on earth by accident. Neither do fish or birds. Variety is good for your body because it ensures you get enough macro and micro nutrients. If you eat 1,800 calories of white refined sugar straight from the bag with a spoon and you burn 2,200 calories daily you will lose weight.

Pipesnake you are supposed to challenge me! You have a lot of good points on your side- like the fact that dietary sugar is very easily converted to glucose, which is very easily converted to fat. But it is very hard for the body to convert dietary fat or dietary protein to bodyfat. This is the very basis of some of the fad diets lately, and there is scientific fact behind it.

Why do Asian people stay so thin when they eat massive amounts of white rice? I guess the only way I can explain it is they don't eat as much as they burn in a day, but somehow that does not seed adequate.

Why do so many people who diet with Atkins gain all of their weight back and more in a short time after they quit? What are the physiological mechanisms behind this, or is it just a matter of low-carb regimens being too hard to sustain?

Chsados thanks for your nice words. There are a lot of people who need medicines and can not get them because it is too expensive to see a doctor or the medicines themselves are obscenely expensive. As corporations tighten the stranglehold that they have on people in developed countries it gets harder and harder. You continue to work longer hours to pay the banks, to pay the tax man, and so the almighty corporation has plenty of profit. But nobody is looking after you.

It is so imporant as Chsados says to do your research on any medication you take. Read up on side effects so you know what to expect. Pay attention to your body especially when you begin a new medication. If there is a chance that a medication could affect your blood pressure, buy a blood pressure cuff and take readings regularly. Eat well and exercise. Be healthy by being smart.

Cenbuterol- the size zero pill- is most tolerated and most effective when "cycled". Here are a couple of examples of clenbuterol cycles, but you can create your own as well based on how you feel and how well you tolerate the side effects.

Clenbuterol, when used for its fat-burning properties is best used in a "pyramid scheme" as shown in the large blue graphic above.

Answer:

Oversedation

Oversedation is a dose-related extension of the sedative/hypnotic effects of benzodiazepines. Symptoms include drowsiness, poor concentration, incoordination, muscle weakness, dizziness and mental confusion. When benzodiazepines are taken at night as sleeping pills, sedation may persist the next day as "hangover" effects, particularly with slowly eliminated preparations. However, tolerance to the sedative effects usually develops over a week or two and anxious patients taking benzodiazepines during the day rarely complain of sleepiness although fine judgement and some memory functions may still be impaired.

Oversedation persists longer and is more marked in the elderly and may contribute to falls and fractures. Acute confusional states have occurred in the elderly even after small doses of benzodiazepines. More.

Oversedation from benzodiazepines contributes to accidents at home and at work and studies from many countries have shown a significant association between the use of benzodiazepines and the risk of serious traffic accidents. People taking benzodiazepines should be warned of the risks of driving and of operating machinery .
Drug interactions

Benzodiazepines have additive effects with other drugs with sedative actions including other hypnotics, some antidepressants (e.g. amitriptyline [Elavil], doxepin [Adapin, Sinequan]), major tranquillisers or neuroleptics (e.g. prochlorperazine [Compazine], trifluoperazine [Stelazine]), anticonvulsants (e.g. phenobarbital, phenytoin [Dilantin], carbamazepine [Atretol, Tegretol]), sedative antihistamines (e.g. diphenhydramine [Benadryl], promethazine [Phenergan]), opiates (heroin, morphine, meperidine), and, importantly, alcohol. Patients taking benzodiazepines should be warned of these interactions. If sedative drugs are taken in overdose, benzodiazepines may add to the risk of fatality.
Memory impairment

Benzodiazepines have long been known to cause amnesia, an effect which is utilised when the drugs are used as premedication before major surgery or for minor surgical procedures. Loss of memory for unpleasant events is a welcome effect in these circumstances. For this purpose, fairly large single doses are employed and a short-acting benzodiazepine (e.g. midazolam) may be given intravenously.

Oral doses of benzodiazepines in the dosage range used for insomnia or anxiety can also cause memory impairment. Acquisition of new information is deficient, partly because of lack of concentration and attention. In addition, the drugs cause a specific deficit in "episodic" memory, the remembering of recent events, the circumstances in which they occurred, and their sequence in time. By contrast, other memory functions (memory for words, ability to remember a telephone number for a few seconds, and recall of long-term memories) are not impaired. Impairment of episodic memory may occasionally lead to memory lapses or "blackouts". It is claimed that in some instances such memory lapses may be responsible for uncharacteristic behaviours such as shop-lifting.

Benzodiazepines are often prescribed for acute stress-related reactions. At the time they may afford relief from the distress of catastrophic disasters, but if used for more than a few days they may prevent the normal psychological adjustment to such trauma.
Bereavement, psychotherapy

In the case of loss or bereavement they may inhibit the grieving process which may remain unresolved for many years. In other anxiety states, including panic disorder and agoraphobia, benzodiazepines may inhibit the learning of alternative stress-coping strategies, including cognitive behavioural treatment.
Paradoxical stimulant effects
Benzodiazepines occasionally cause paradoxical excitement with increased anxiety, insomnia, nightmares, hallucinations at the onset of sleep, irritability, hyperactive or aggressive behaviour, and exacerbation of seizures in epileptics. Attacks of rage and violent behaviour, including assault (and even homicide), have been reported, particularly after intravenous administration but also after oral administration. Less dramatic increases in irritability and argumentativeness are much more common and are frequently remarked upon by patients or by their families. Such reactions are similar to those sometimes provoked by alcohol. They are most frequent in anxious and aggressive individuals, children, and the elderly. They may be due to release or inhibition of behavioural tendencies normally suppressed by social restraints. Cases of "baby-battering", wife-beating and "grandma-bashing" have been attributed to benzodiazepines.

Depression, emotional blunting

Long-term benzodiazepine users, like alcoholics and barbiturate-dependent patients, are often depressed, and the depression may first appear during prolonged benzodiazepine use. Benzodiazepines may both cause and aggravate depression, possibly by reducing the brain's output of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and norepinephrine (noradrenaline). However, anxiety and depression often co-exist and benzodiazepines are frequently prescribed for mixed anxiety and depression. Sometimes the drugs seem to precipitate suicidal tendencies in such patients. Of the first 50 of the patients attending my withdrawal clinic (reported in 1987), ten had taken drug overdoses requiring hospital admission while on chronic benzodiazepine medication; only two of these had a history of depressive illness before they were prescribed benzodiazepines. The depression lifted in these patients after benzodiazepine withdrawal and none took further overdoses during the 10 months to 3.5 years follow-up period after withdrawal. In 1988 the Committee on Safety of Medicines in the UK recommended that "benzodiazepines should not be used alone to treat depression or anxiety associated with depression. Suicide may be precipitated in such patients".

"Emotional anaesthesia", the inability to feel pleasure or pain, is a common complaint of long-term benzodiazepine users. Such emotional blunting is probably related to the inhibitory effect of benzodiazepines on activity in emotional centres in the brain. Former long-term benzodiazepine users often bitterly regret their lack of emotional responses to family members - children and spouses or partners - during the period when they were taking the drugs. First- death from benzodiazepine withdrawal is beyond extraordinarily rare. According to the American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology, there are only two cases on record. I've personally used and stopped using both diazepam and alprazolam and found no difference in withdrawal between the two. However, it has been established by medical literature that alprazolam generally presents a more difficult withdrawal than diazepam, and often a doctor will use diazepam to ease a patient off of alprazolam. It should also be noted that benzodiazepine withdrawal is much more severe as dosage increases. I would not recommend anyone use these drugs for recreational use- or to "get high" as the dosage needed puts you in the danger zone for both rapid addiction and extremely painful and unpleasant withdrawal. If you are taking 1mg of alprazolam to sleep at night you are not in this category however. I usually recommend that people start with 1/2mg as it is often effective. I am not saying that you will not get addicted to a low dose- you very well could. But for people who spend sleepless nights because of anxiety, it can be very effective.

As far as testosterone you really need to inject it if you want the safest method. With 25 gauge needles it is all but painless. Even people who have a phobia about needles have agreed with me after a couple of weeks it is very easy. It's not like injecting with an 18 gauge harpoon. Testosterone pills are liver-toxic and this would not be acceptable for long-term use as is needed for hormone replacement therapy.

Also note that when a "cycle" is finished, an athlete will use post-cycle therapy to stimulate the endocrine system and restore natural testosterone production. This is generally done with Clomid and Nolvadex. But yes, most men who are on HRT will inject long-term. It's not a "do it when I feel like I need it" kind of remedy. It is more of a commitment. Some men swear by hormone replacement therapy and say that is has altered their life in ways that they could not even imagine. It's not an easy choice to make.

If there is a better solution for your particular case I don't know what it is, and probably you would do well to speak with a physician about it. Most physicians are not particularly well-versed about HRT for men so if you could speak to an endocrinologist that would be better.
