Title: Ways of making bitcoins.
Post by: Nutu2000 on June 26, 2013, 09:01:06 AM
Hello! I'm new here, to the world of bitcoins. Just discovered it few days ago and since the I am so eager in getting some coins. I tried mining but it just doesn't cut for me. My computer is just the laziest on the planet and at the current requirements, mining just doesn't cut for me. It gives me only a few MH/s.  >:(

So my question is this: is there another way of rising bitcoins, other than mining? I've found some sites that give free bitcoins but I think I should visit them daily for about a year to be able to withdraw from any of them (maybe not that much, but you get my point). I am not looking to get bitcoins for absolutely nothing. No one will give you money for nothing in return, but... something else than mining for years in a row only to get a bitcoin.

Create a service or product that will appeal to bitcoin users and, of course, ask them to pay in bitcoin.

Andy.

Buy lots when they are cheap and sell when they are worth more. You'll get a net increase in your money so you can buy more next time

yes, that's true. :))
Interesting coinchat.org, though.

bitvisitor

The don't give out much though.
yes, they don't but neither coichat.org.

These two site are very interesting. The idea behind coinchat.org is, I think, a premier. I don't think that it exist something like this nowhere in the world. As for bitvisitor the implementation of that old sistem is so... wow! I am amazed by the possibility that Bitcoin offered and how simple is everything.

You could enter Raffles and giveaways. Maybe take a shot at different bounties offered(depending on your skills). Also, a few bitcoin micro-jobs sites are out there. Don't know wich ones are more popular, but you can find them easy.

As about raffles, there's one in my signature. You can find more raffles on the forums.

An "easy" way to get bitcoins is trading with bitcoins. If you are good and lucky, they will increase ;-)

What do you mean? And how can I trade with them?

What do you mean? And how can I trade with them?

Look up some of the exchanges (MtGox, BTC-E, Bitstamp, CampBX), find out how they allow funding to/from and try out the user interfaces, then pick the one that works best for you. Send them money and buy bitcoins, if the price of bitcoins goes up, sell some and then buy them back later when the price goes down again. Then you can withdraw your money and you have some bitcoins.

The other thing you can do if you buy some bitcoins as stated above is send them to one of the bitcoin stock exchanges (MPEx, BitFunder, or BTCT) and then use them to trade bitcoin stocks. You can buy low and sell high to make some bitcoins, or invest in dividend giving stocks and just earn some bitcoins slowly.

When trading, you should be aware that "buy low, sell high" is a pretty good rule but it only works if there is a "high" after the "low" at which you bought.
Knowing in advance whether a given exchange rate is "low" and will be followed by a "high" is the basic skill a trader must acquire ;D

(I never learned this skill - probably I'm too optimistic...)

Interesting. I've never thought of this. :)) I'll definitely take a look at this possibility.

Same here, I don't think I'll be able to learn the skills required, but why not give it a chance, especially in the dividends which are less risky, as far as I know.  :D

Anyone any other ideas. I see that everybody here has something up hiss sleeve. So please share! :D

Another thing you can do is invest in a simple, (fairly) cheap ASICS such as the Block Eruptor USB. They just slashed their prices down to 1 BTC. This is what I'm doing (while waiting for bigger ASICS). They have group buys going on all the time. The one I'm going to enter (as soon as I'm out of the newb zone) is this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=243137.0

Regardless of whether it will pay for itself or not, it's a nice little investment that will keep paying for a while (I assume it uses next to no electricity).

Good luck!

I would sincerely do that if I know what could I do, and if I could do something of value. :(

Although I am a forum newbie ive been investing in bitcoin for quite some time (not proclaiming myself as a seasoned expert but just saying) its easy to get caught up spending mindless hours completing captchas for bitcoin faucets but your time could be better spent producing fiat to put into bitcoin or providing a service for bitcoin. with that said dont get me wrong. there are a few faucets that I visit on a daily basis and i let them mature for months until cashing out.just my 2 bits as they say...

If you're looking for a way to earn Bitcoin I would recommend BitcoinGet.com (http://www.bitcoinget.com/?r=15JHQoDH1Rmp8Bz5sA6t16w2pypweeetFM) because they pay a lot more than faucets for the time you have to put in to see a decent payout. They pay 50μBTC for every video watched and have lots of tasks you can complete where you earn even more. Videos are added many times a day so if there are none there when you first look then keep checking back. :)

If you're on reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/BitMarket/ (http://www.reddit.com/r/BitMarket/) is a sub that lets people sell things for BTC. Similarly, http://www.bitmit.net/en/hotauctions (http://www.bitmit.net/en/hotauctions) is a bitcoin-ebay auction site. Maybe you can sell some stuff? Video games are usually pretty popular.

We get so many threads like this. What you are really asking is "How do I make money"? I bet most people can answer this question on their own.

Even at 1 BTC and very modest difficulty increases it has been shown time and time again using many different calculation methods that you cannot possibly make back your initial investment mining BTC with these things unless they drop in price greatly, perhaps as low as 0.15 BTC/ea

I would buy bitcoins at market value through exchanges like coinbase or mtgox. Then I would sell them on ebay at a premium. Why? When you buy on ebay, you can use your credit/debit card through paypal. People are are willing to pay a little over market value for convenience. When you want to buy bitcoins at major exchanges, you have to wire the money, something people don't want to go through the trouble to.

Yes. It is a "How do I make money?" question. But it is that answer that everybody gives on their own what I am looking for, not how do I make money.

And so far I've seen some things that I actually didn't consider. And as far I see, this opened my eye and gave me the possibility to have a different point of view over what can be done with bitcoins.

As far as I can tell the good ol' days of BTC faucets and giveaways have gone, they're just worth too much now. I tried 30 faucets last week and one paid out the equivalent of £0.10, the rest zero. Even mining is apparently impossible unless you are a big businessman or hardware genius.

There are the raffles but they're not guaranteed. I wouldn't bother with any of the gambling as that is even less certain.

I think you just have to buy them now, I doubt you'll get more any other way.

P.s. Look out for scammers as there are loads of scumbags on here who will tell you anything. Such as that Bitcoins will be worth 20k in 2 months or nothing at all by tomorrow. Or that they will take Bitcoins from you for free and then give them back with interest at some later point.

There's only a few videos been on BitcoinGet.com (http://www.bitcoinget.com/?r=15JHQoDH1Rmp8Bz5sA6t16w2pypweeetFM) recently, but I've made several thousand μBTC completing tasks today. Fully recommend doing a few tasks, payouts so much higher than faucets and several of the tasks can be done repeatedly for extra payouts. :)
