Is there any reason why etherium is on the rise recently?
Its already uped by 10%+

I think its because almost coins new born tokens and coins are base on ethereum platform,,thats why eth is in demand this time. So Much better to hold eth,  hopefully it will be touch  500$ or more soon.  Thats only my thoughts.

Hype over upcoming upgrade in eth network is quite high that will upgrade eth to pos that can be one of the reason behind the current pump.

Other than this many bitcoin holders might have converted their bitcoin to ethereum for quick profit.

I think there will be some correction before it can pump over $500.

I think similarly with you, there may be a correction action before it goes to $500 soon. Upcoming upgrade will change ethereum blockchain significantly and this is why people are getting in ethereum. They know eth platform will be more profitable after pos transation.

I dont have any idea why ethereum keeps on pumping.
All i know is this is the best time to buy ethereum and hold for a long time.

Because every altcoin is based on Ethereum. And its demand is really high.

The thing is that alternate currencies are now back. Bitcoin has made its moves and has found at nice place where its currently in distribution phase in my opinion. As long as bitcoin stays at about its current range, all alts will be back. However if bitcoin decides to shoot upward again, alts will tank.

What goes comes down. So I think there will be correction. After that it will go even higher. So just hold.

Hmm ive always had a problem with the Ethereum price. I guess 500dollars seems ok in short term. But i think it will rise significly after they change to PoS, its a more suited blockchain proof for that coin.

That's right one of the reason is that there are more ICO's that develops their coin and project over the ethereum blockchain making the price go pump but that is not the main reason why.

There will be a little dump that is going to happen but that will leave to your good judgment if you're going to buy or wait for the dumps, you may miss the chance while the price is still in the state of $400 because you are waiting for the price decrease. For me, I will go for it.

I think because it's demand is increasing significantly with time. As you have seen that many tokens are developing on Ethereum Blockchain. That is the reason behind it's increasing demand and as demand increasing, it's price also increasing and will keep increasing in future... Ethereum is very sophisticated and promising Altcoin...

It was just a matter of time. It was more surprising why it was lagging behind.

It was unable to cross and hold above $300 since a long time so this was the most awaited breakout. Finally it's trading above 400+ dollars. And also not only ETH many altcoins are also raising like dash, Monero, bch etc. The total marketcap is also increasing so it looks like new money is flowing into the markets.

Grrr been holding my eth stash for months now. Sold and bought something else the last week since I was planning on restocking on eth again tomorrow....

You're right. Thanks to the creation of new tokens on the ethereum platform and the conduct of the ICO, its popularity is getting higher every day. It has a real prospect to reach the new year mark 500 $.

If you did not notice, then I want to draw your attention to how the price was held artificially at $ 300. This can not continue for a long time and the real price of the Ethereum is several times larger.

Why is ethereum rising to discovery of it's true value? Well because ethereum has been undervalue considering amount of transaction that ethereum network process everyday. The token on ethereum is more than 14000.

I not suprised about the fact it did, but more about the time it took. the price rised because several updates and still a high demand on ICO's which mostly demands ETH as a payment

probably because etherium and bitcoin are competing and other altcoins are also one of the rising factors of bitcoin and etherium in my opinion because today there are many scaled ico and that is why these two altcoins are climbing the price to a higher level.

Its due to alot of new coins being based of etherium.  There are predictions for it to rise to $500 next year but thats at a steady growth rate. If it carries on then currently I think it could possibly break the $500 back end of this year

I've always supported and promoted Ethereum. It is the sleeping giant, the Bitcoin killer. Why? Simply because it has more advanced technology, an active and development team whose presence is well felt by the community, and it has widespread real world application.

And this is just the beginning. In my opinion, you can expect more upward movement from Ethereum.

I agree, according to CMC it almost broke $500 yesterday reaching $493.40 and started the correction. The current value is $469.41
Yes, ICOs do help the price pump but I think also projects like Raiden help.

All coins are in correlation with bitcoin. As for Ether, it has an unlim. supply, so... it can not be this way forever.

Ethereum is used not only as the coin to have various operation with. it is a unique platform. You can use ETH to create new altcoins, and various ICOs also use this crypto. thus, Ethereum is in gread demand and it is growing. I think it should cost at least 1000$.

Yeah you will find the ethereum based smart contract projects largely through out the forum. We are finding many erc20 tokens also, these kind of many projects and altcoins with the technology of ethereum we will find the ethereum price growth in the chart.

Most of ICOs are currently on the Ethereum blockchain. So all the investors willing to participate in are buying ETH to exchange it against altcoins. Moreover transaction fees are currently lower on ETH and transfers are smoother.

I think that Ethereum is really undervalued and even 500$ is nothing compared to the real value of this coin and the potential it has.

Ethereum can't be compared to bitcoin but it will rise more, I think it will go over 500$ before the end of this year and it is going to be the surprise of 2018.

One of the reasons Ethereum going up can be very possibly is because of the various new coins and ICO projects that are coming up are totally based on Ethereum system I guess that is the ERC20 tokens. Ethereum also has got a big community and I also have gone through an article stating that these days Ethereum is been traded on a very big scale.

Yea that new protocol definitely has a part on this rise but i wanna point our something different. All markets are insanely unstable for couple of months and this is scaring the investors. That situation lead investors to coins they know it’s safe and stable. That’s one of the big reasons why bitcoin and ethereum gained so much value lately.

It seems generally its a point of peak period for major coins because the increase is just across board aside the obviously dead coins which I also happen to be unfortunate to put money into because at the point of general increase, it seems nobody is interested in that particular coin.

I don't think there is a specific reason as to why there is an increase in ETH as even me too I have been looking for reasons but I am sure that ETH has the base to pull such. Hopefully, it will be sustained.

It was stuck at 300-350$ for a long time. According to growing BTC and other cryptos it has become more and more undervalued. So I guess it's very reasonable price behaviour.

Etherium is rising significantly because it is considered by so many people as the second Bitcoin, and the first promising altcoin right now. Also the demand for this coin is very high actually since it is needed a lot for investing in ICO projects, and by the devs of this projects as well.

The demand for etherium is pretty high. The reason being that most altcoins are based on etherium platform and has positively impacted on its price

The most obvious is its popularity,, ICO investment coin other than bitcoin,, mineable and most exchanges used it as main coin next to bitcoin.. So it’s not surprising at all and has most influential supporter in this community that is loyal and depend/promote it in many ways.. I don't know for sure, I am not looking for information and analyzing eth. I hold a lot of eth in my wallet. my belief that eth is very big and has a long future.

I think Ethereum is rising so fast at the moment because of the new investors. Cryptocurrencies were so much hyped in the last year in the mainstream media. SO many people now want to invest now. Bitcoin is to expensive for the most of them, so they start buying Ethereum because ins on the second place and its much cheaper.

Bitcoin high transaction fee is one the major factors that is diverting people to consider ethereum as an alternative coin and has led to the recent increase in value of ethereum. The gas use in sending $1000 worth of ethereum cannot be compared to the higher fee one has to pay for $1000 worth of Bitcoin and massive demand for token on etherdelter is another factor.

Yes, maybe this caused such a strong rise in the price of this coin. But I can not understand why this happens so quickly. Usually the price rises so much because of some very good news.

Ethereum is rising recently because of good performance and high demand of token. The price of Eth is increase the price quickly from 700$-1k$ I'm so amazed and it will help to earn more profit.

In my opinion, the rise is due to the influx of new people into the crypto market, and they're investing in Ethereum as it is a top 3 coin. Also, there have been many ICO's lately, which accept Ethereum, so many participants are stocking up on Ethereum to participate in these ICO's.

Eth was on the decline for last couple of months so this is the time that it retrieve its value and price. ETH is a valuable coin and it isn't going anywhere. almost 80% of the new ICO are Eth based and many people are using ETH for payments in their businesses.

in last 2 months i saw all coins are rising , some are even 10x or 100x .
similar way , ethereum also rising .
and i think ethereum is more valuable than others bcoz of simplicity , and most of icos provide token on ether blockchain .

because almost of upcoming ICOs is from ETH platform and all them are good and has a very good future and that's why so many people buying eth to participate on those ICOs.
