Now time has arrived for eth, i think eth will go up 1000$ . Not stuck in 400$.

Yes I also have expectations from Ethereum to reach $ 1000 but not at the end of this year. But I think Ethereum and all altcoins will go down because of Bitcoin fork is coming in December. The reason is when Bitcoin fork comes, people dump altcoins to buy Btc and all altcoins goes down. Next year am very hopeful that Ethereum will reach $ 1000.

Sure ethereum will reach more than $ 1000 in the year 2018,already we can see the price growth of ethereum it started to rise on the regular basis everyday the price of ethereum is increasing upto 8%.Ethereum is also has good potential like bitcoin so it is better to buy ethereum when the prices are low.

In my opinion Etherium will be definitely be more than a 1000USD by the end of quarter 1. Also it has been observed that Etherium leads to other alts pumping. So I am telling to myself and my friends that alts are back :)

ETH has a potential to be a 10k USD but i don't think this is happen for now. Maybe the other year, the price will continue rising until it become a 10 000 USD.

ETH has good potential to reach that target in the long term like 1 year+. Short term it looks very unrealistic. There is heavy resistance at $450. If it crosses and hold above that level then it will moon to $600+. But if Bitcoin crashes in the upcoming months ago the ETH targets will become invalid.

Well I think ETH have the potential to reach the 1000$ soon, and its price is already increasing recently. Maybe we need to wait some time because it will take some time to hit the 500$ level and then 1000$, but without any doubt Ethereum will keep going up in the future because it is nowadays a lot more used and needed then the few previous months.

I am sure it will reach 1000 dolar but it takes some time. It takes maybe 6 months or 1 year. If you read and search ethereums basic you can see its so strongth and sustain. I am one of investor of ethereum and I have no doubth :D.

I have been expecting just so much from ETH for a while now and it just keeps letting me down. I guess I will just have to watch the tide of events so I do not end up getting my hopes up too high. $1000 though sounds very impossible to me right now, with crypto world though, there is no impossibility.

There can be many pull backs in price of ETH before it can cross $1k, I think $1000 per ETH is possible but not with just one continuous pump. We might see many correction at $400, $500, $600 and so on before finally crossing that huge $1k milestone.

There will be some profit taking in every crypto during huge pump like current pump in ETH.

$1000 price target is a little optimistic don't you think? Prices of these coins can't just keep rising without no ceiling. There will be a limit when they will stop and be steady. I personally don't think ETH will ever reach $1000

Yes in one shot it will not go $1000 step by step it will increase. Suppose if it reaches $1k then 100% it will come down so when it crosses $1k it is a time to sell ETH and make money and later you can buy back with a low price.

I hope so. But if i had fiat i wouldnt buy ethereum. Ethereum is a bit overpriced. Yes they have advantages such as being popular for icos with its blockchain and smart contract technologies but still there are better and more innovative alternatives to ethereum.

We all know eth can pass this price. The problem is when. The time to take action and pass this price won't happen in a blink of an eye clearly. We need more news coming from ethereum developers.

Uh well, I was not going to say this but yeah looking at the current price changes im sure ether is going upwards now and there are many more oprutnities with it which other big investors has already seen. So if people start recognising about this opportunity then they will sure put big money into Ethereum and then will try to trade it at higher rates. This could definitely happen but as some other users have said I also don't think it will happen this year because of the upcoming bitcoin fork. People are going to dump to buy bitcoin so that should go up then afterwards ethereum and all the alts will rise back up again.

There is no doubt that ETH will go up to  $1,000 but I think this is not the time. After $400 range as a trader all we can do is speculate but most of the time there will be a resistance on each $100 increase.

ETH's price may reach 1000 USD because the graph shows there is a steady rise of it's market value pumping at (15.44%). It really has the potential for this alternate coin to jump out of the box since its blockchain is almost used by tokens from different startups or Initial Coin Offerings.

Eth already have a good competitive advantage in smart-conracts areas. But everyday competitors doing smth better in tech plan like neo, stellar, cardano and they take a lot of money volume from market. I think coming soon price around 500$.

It will reach 1000$ in the start of next year as it comes out from its huge resistance level and start moving upward. In this run up, it can break its last life time high and can go to moon.

Nearly everybody I've talk to thinks that it will hit 1000 some day. Very many projects are based on Ethereum nowadays and if even 5% of them will have sucess public will eagerly forget about other 95% as it always do. But it depends on BTC rate, overall do not think that ratio of 0.05 will change in a sustainable manner during next year. So when BTC hit 16k, Ether will pass 1k. It can hit this mark before but not for long imao.

It's a good estimate but IMO it's too soon, ETH need to stop PoW and go PoS, it's the only way to flip first place with Bitcoin. A lot non-crypto enthousiast hate Bitcoin because of his waste in electricity for securing blockchain. I hate it myself.

Ether may reach $1000 in future but it will not be a quick rise. I will be buying ether but most of my funds will remain in bitcoin.

Ether has been stuck for a very long time in the 300s and just today its breached its all time highand currently trading over $420 just hope it wont stall like it usually does but am sure it will reach $1000 next year.

Totally agree, when I am on an exchange and the prices of the coins are improving the coin holders get so hyper and sell short. They have no patience and therefore this is true not just with ETH but any coin pumping.. as long as there are human sentiments involved the holders themselves will prove to be the bumpers, especially the ones that put their sell orders above mine ... Cheers to being human! because that's what gets us the pump too.

Ethereum, certainly will grow, because this is a very promising coin, but not as fast as we would like. I do not think that he will reach the rate of $ 1000 at the beginning of next year, but closer to the middle it is quite possible.

I think ETH is underprissed : many improvements are coming : plasma, raiden, Z Snarks, POS...
And a lot of projects are running on eth so his futur seems absolutly great and it is very cheap now if you compare with somthing like BCH  ;D

I thought it will be playing at $280-320 for a long time but this happened.
I dont know much about how ETH grow its value but I think the ICO's are also making an impact with it.

ETH  has already reached to about 400USD and i think that at the end of december it pass 500USD.  This was a very good journey from low point to the peak. 2018 will bring some attractive things that will be beneficial for the investors of ETH. I know it sounds crazy, but you have to consider that right now nobody outside a very small circle even knows about Ethereum, but most people have at least heard about Bitcoin..... If Ethereum has just 1 or 2 successful dapps that get the mainstream using it, or simply if institutional investors start coming in (which they will be very soon), then really 6k is not that unrealistic. That would be a 575b marketcap. Gold for comparison is about a 7t marketcap. Most people a year ago would not believe you if you said BTC would be 10k, look at it now...

Well, if they continue such growth ETH almost $ 500. Capitalization approaching 50 millirads. I think the CASPER startup and transition to POS will raise the price. And the fact that Buterin wants to burn the coins if the coins will burn the price will go up.

I do not understand the forecasts of this or that coin in the price. For what reason and for what, because every person already knows for themselves and thinks out which coin is preferable to him and sometimes even the price does not matter. So it's just like advertising.

I've watched Vitalik's talk today at BeyondBlock Taipei and judging by his vision and the capabilities of the team behind Ethereum, 1000$ is no biggie. If and when they manage to implement the sharding protocol Vitalik's been talking about, Ethereum will explode.

I think this will happen in early 2018. Like bitcoin, Etherum is currently being accepted around the world, which helps Etherum to keep up and keep rising for long periods even though it has been many bad news.

No it won't hit 1000$, because there are too many icos that dump their ethereum for fiat. That is why it is hard to guess if the ethereum will pump.

That's one way of looking at it.  Here's another: there are so many ICO's in eth that the owners have a good reason to make eth go passed $1000.  Do not underestimate the power of a pack of whales...

ETH is just like bitcoin have potentials to go further beyond of everyone expected to happen.
 But in terms of how it grows, I can say that it is in gradually moving forward. Not as fast as compared to bitcoin, but I believe ETH will go that amount.

The value of ethereum may increase but its so hard to meet 1000$ for a short period of time. Lets say it may achieved that value in 2-4 years depending on the market demand. But one thing for sure, ethereum is one of the best thing to invest and hold because it show positive performance in the past evaluation.

i think no, etherium will surpass bitcoincash first before it can go and compete on bitcoin because i see that bitcoincash is still on the second spot next to bitcoin but i do believe that etherium can go a long run and knock them down just by basing on its current movement these days. yet im still doubting that it cant hardly reach a hundred thousand dollars in just a matter of short time because we all know that eth is mainly for longer term of  investment.

Vitalik has already said that he's looking for solutions to scaling (sharding) to making transactions more private (zksnarks) and all of these developments are up and running everyone in Ethereum is working on that and they will eventually manage to reach their targets.
