Title: Mac and 2 USB block eruptors Post by: gravitate on June 28, 2013, 07:37:42 AM I have 2 USB block eruptors on the way to use with my macbook pro. I have never mined before. Would anyone be kind enough as to tell me the steps I need to take please? i.e which is the best miner to download, which is the best pool for small fish and how to get everything working please?

Supposedly, the software will detect the USB Block Eruptors. But I didn't tried it yet, as I use a Raspberry Pi and MinePeon to mine with my 2 USB Block Eruptors.Regards, Matthew Title: Re: Mac and 2 USB block eruptors Post by: marra on June 28, 2013, 12:59:31 PM I got a tip from a guy that's mining with erupters to mandatory use some USB hub and an external fan, your USB plug on the MAC could be damaged from heat dispersion.

Also they probably wont fit side by side. Macbooks have about 1mm clearance between two normal usb cables.
