Yes, it is comparable to a bank. In our opinion, a bank is made of 2 components; on the one hand, one component would be their users and funds. That would be our universal wallets where users can store top crypto-currencies and all ERC-20 tokens. On the other hand, the second component would be their portfolio of services that they use to make profit our of their users.  That would be our decentralized marketplace.

If so, are you in competition with other projects that want to become decentralized banks on the blockchain?

The problem with most proposals coming from Blockchain is that they are centralizing the management of the application and so on. That means that the bargaining power is still on the side of the organization. In our opinion, these sort of companies have not understood the real potential of Blockchain, which ultimately can transfer all the bargaining power to users thanks to decentralization. Not understanding this, means going back to the traditional model.

What distinguishes you from those projects?

As stated above, thanks to real decentralization we transfer the bargaining power to users and thus we are able to enrich PayPro's value proposition. Let us show an example; as we do not believe in any kind of centralization, we must allow any financial-related dApp to offer its services on our marketplace. Otherwise, there would be a centralized party which may choose decisions upon private interests. As a result of that, if a user want to hire an life-insurance, he would be able to choose among an extensive array of offers. This internal competition-model would enforce players to be more competitive and thus provide better services than competition. Still, this model does not 100% guarantee a customer-centric model. In order to achieve this, we have planned the implementation of a rating system that would allow the community to rate all suppliers. By doing this, suppliers would be forced to compete among them and thus build a customer-centric eco-system.

In a nutshell, we set us apart by using decentralization as a mean to achieve a customer-centric model.

If he cannot invest then how can he get a bonus?

The idea is that in case an investor can not join the pre-sale for whatever reasons - such as, the minimum investment of 15 ETH is ahead of his investment appetite or he just misses the pre-sale deadline - he still can enjoy the following bonus during the main sale:

1st 24 hours of the main sale: 20% bonus
1st week of the main sale: 15% bonus
2nd week of the main sale: 10% bonus

The fact that we believe that centralization is making any form of bank, regardless of whether it is a neo-bank or traditional bank, to focus only on its own interests rather than on user's interests. Let me elaborate on this; as it was demonstrated prior to the world recession, when banks offer services they are thinking more on how to make profit our of their clients rather than on how to improve their client's life. This happens thanks to the fact that they hold all the information.

With decentralization of services through third-parties acting as suppliers, we accomplish two goals;

- The accumulation of suppliers creates an eco-system where competition is generated. The more suppliers, the more competition.

- A rating system where users value supplier's services, enforce any supplier to focus on users an not the opposite.

What sets PayPro apart from any other competitor is the fact that we decentralize the platform in two ways:

On the one hand, we allow any dApp to access and offer its services through the marketplace. By doing this, users will have several options when looking for any service. This array of suppliers will ultimately benefit users as dApps will have to struggle in order to be chosen by the community. If the project is good why is there the need for this team to actually try to have a fake rate on the ICO review site? Let the project speaks for its rating itself. When people think this project is working pursuing  then people will invest to  it to have development funds but if not then this  is a shitty project. If you pay to have at least higher rate then  there is a chance that investors are going to dump this token right after the market is open in order to take profit from bonuses.

So far, paypro has developed iOS apps that make it possible to store BTCs, but this is proof of a concrete concept created for the purpose of paypro user experience. Overview

PayPro is going to issue two type of tokens; PYP and zPYP. On the one hand, PYP is the only currency accepted within the marketplace. On the other hand, zPYP is used as a rating system within the marketplace.
Distribution of tokens

PYP will be first distributed on an Initial Coin Offering (ICO). Once the market has acquired enough tokens, these tokens will be trading on Exchange Platforms so any individual can have access to them and thus buy services on the marketplace. zPYP will be allocated to users and dApps from our Pool. The pool will initially hold a number of zPYP that will allocate as a reward for rating to users and as a reward for getting high ratings to dApps. Both users and dApps can exchange zPYP for PYP, but PYP can not exchanged for zPYP. Otherwise the system would be corrupted.

Workflow

Workflow: User


1. User exchanges any crypto-currency, such as Ether or Bitcoin, for PYP on an exchange.
2. User seeks for suppliers of the service that he is looking for. dApps with best ratings will be positioned better and thus.
3. User chooses a dApp.
4. User buys the service that he was looking for and pay a transaction fee in PYP to the marketplace.
5. User receives the service.
6. User is asked by PayPro to rate the service provided by the dApp.
7. User rates the dApp.
8. PayPro’s Pool rewards the user with PYP for his contribution.
9. User become loyal as more zPYP is accumulated.
10. User exchanges zPYP for PYP.
11. If the user stops transacting, zPYP will be progressively taken back to the pool

Workflow: dApp

1. dApp post a service on the marketplace.
2. A user decides to buy a service from the dApp.
3. dApp receives PYP and pays a transaction fee in PYP to the marketplace.
4. User rates the dApp.
5. The Pool allocates a number of zPYP to the dApp according to the rating.
6. The more zPYP the dApp received, the better positioning.
7. Whenever the dApp decides, it can exchange zPYP for PYP.
8. dApp decides to improve the service out of the feedback received.
9. If the dApp stops transacting, zPYP will be progressively taken back to the pool.
10. Workflow: PayPro Pool
11. Pool holds zPYP and PYP.
12. Pool receives PYP from a user buying a service from a dApp.
13. Pool receives PYP from a dApp selling a service to a user.
14. Pool receives a rating order from the user.
15. Pool allocates a number of zPYP to the dApp in accordance with the rating.
16. dApp receives zPYP.
17. Either the dApp or the user decides to exchange zPYP for PYP and sends a sell order to the Pool.
18. Pool accepted the order at fixed price of 1 zPYP = 1 USD.
19. Pool sends PYP in exchange of zPYP.

Token Allocation

Whereas rewards to users are always fixed and hence there is no room for further consideration, the calculation of zPYP rewarded to dApps plays a critical role in order to build a well structured ranking of suppliers. In order to do so, we will use a the law of Zipf.

Zipf’s so-called law, formulated in the 1940s by George Kingsley Zipf, a linguist at Harvard University, is an empirical law according to which in a certain language the frequency of occurrence of different words follows a distribution that can be approximated by P n ∼ 1 / n a  where Pn represents the frequency of the nth most frequent word and the exponent a is a positive real number, in general slightly higher than 1.1 This means that the second element will repeat approximately at a frequency of 1/2 of that of the first , the third element with a frequency of 1/3 and so on. A non-empirical, but more precise, law derived from the works of Claude Shannon was discovered by Benoît Mandelbrot.

The law of Zipf is fulfilled for most languages, including for non-natural languages such as Esperanto.
We have chosen this model for the following reasons;

- It delivers a fair rating to dApps who have contributed to the marketplace by offering a transparent and value-added service that has already been proved in real life.

I think short term market corrections or mini bear markets are good for ICOs. ICOs are a way to hedge the price correction current coins in circulation were experimenting. So to secure your dollar value or BTC value an ICO tends to be really good at holding that value for you with the assurance that you got your investment at a discount price. Sometimes what sucks is that ICOs start trading really lower than the ICO price when they go live on an exchange. But that will depend how strong and robust are the fundamentals and the backup for the coin/token.

Just look at the posts above, the dev team is busy with the problem of its ICO funds, it seems the funds is locked by the smart contact, and maybe you can not receive any tokens before it is solved.

I can only say it's a team of losers and I'm not gonna give you another dollar! I spent three months carrying their signature when I asked a telegram chat question I was just added to the ban!!!!

I invested some money here and they allegedly lost it.  I made a mistake and I won't repeat it again.

The following article is meant to describe our progress through the last week in the various fields of work.

Product
Along to the back-end development, we have started to design the layouts of the new version of the application, which will include Ether and ERC-20 tokens storage.

We acknowledge the importance of getting external feedback, so we want to share the first drafts with you so we can hear your opinion. You can find the the link here.

Legal
The deadline to join the lawsuit was closed on last Monday, April 16th, 2018. We confirm that 89 token holders have joined. Please, bear in mind that there is no need to join for receiving any potential compensation — this is just for providing current token holders with more security.

Therefore, we have already started the legal actions with our lawyers. As planned, a certified mail has been sent in order to start the legal process. You can find the original copies here.

This step is a legal requirement previous to any lawsuit, as we are required by law to find a private solution before going to court. If no agreement is reached within two weeks, we will be legally able to go to court.

Some clarifications
After the Smart Contract was closed, there was a contributor who asked to join on March 2nd, 2018. This contributor wanted to add “USD 45,000 in Ethers” to a previous contribution he had made during the ICO. As the Smart Contract was closed but we still could issue tokens and he wanted to join anyway, we offered him to send the funds to a regular wallet. Thus, he sent us 52 ETH on March 2nd, 2018. The transaction can be found here.

After the Smart Contract error was identified and released, we proceeded to send him back his 52 ETH as they were not locked due to the Smart Contract error. Given that the Ether price has plunged, he requests us to refund the difference in USD. However, we believe that there is no reason for us to do so and hence, he is now accusing us arguing that he has been scammed. Our official position towards these situations is that we will not give in to any kind of illegitimate pressure.

EIP 867: Standardized Ethereum Recovery Proposals
Ethereum’s most senior developers have initiated a debate on whether or not a method for returning funds lost due to high-profile hacks and incidents should be implemented.

The improvement proposal that seems to be more popular is the one described on EIP 867, led by Dan Phifer from Musiconomi.

For now, no action will be taken until Ethereum decides on how new features should be proposed to the community through the Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) protocol.

How much longer do we wait for the error to be fixed?
It almost look like a scam already, they were promising to be listed in bancor right after the distribution and seem like all those aren't even real. I don't know why there's no investor here who keeps bugging them about the project. Few days more can turn to months and years and soon we'd all forget about the ETH we sent. Looks VERY  SCAM to me.

Smart Contract Error - unbelievable, first time i heard this reason of lost a fund. Loser or Scamers - question. Future will show.

In another way, the project can be called a market where decentralized applications (dApps) will be able to post information about the services they provide. Due to the chosen work policy, dApps will be in a competitive environment, for the right to receive a contract from the user. This will reduce the cost and improve the quality of services.

Nothing will show up anymore. This shows that no matter how legit they may look, a team like this can turn out to be a scam too. Smart contract error can be fixed if they just have the knowledge but since they don't have this, means those who invested ETH just lose it all. Sad was that some scam ICO distributes the coins before popping like a bubble, this Paypro never did send anything. Not even a token.

Another project in the financial sphere In my opinion , nothing new in this area again there is a huge number of really cool projects that already create a strong competition among themselves a niche is busy in my opinion nowadays.
