Would you choose to invest more in your ico or pick a few good investments?

And also there are so many threads like this in the section. Please if you already noticed then don't create another thread but instead read some comments in order for you to get their views and observations.

Yes there are lot icos , you have to select one of the good, you have to research before invest.

One of the important points in choosing ico:

-The identity is genuine or not If the identity is given but false, can not be confirmed to the person concerned, do not have experience, we better stay away. ;)

you shouldn't invest your money in many icos that you never do research but just choose some icos that can be supper effective and safe, in order to do that, you must make research carefully by looking to small details of their ico, how people said about that ico, reviewers said, and will it have potential.

I believe that before you start investing, you need to understand in detail what is happening in the market of crypto-currency. Many people lose money because of their incompetence. When you understand what is what, you need to choose some of the most perspective and promising crypto-currency projects for investment. You should not invest in every coin you see. If you do this, you just gonna lose.

what you do must be accompanied by knowledge, I alone always investigate every invasion on ico. read the white paper, see the roadmap and the team inside. it all relates to research
if you do not want bad things to happen, you should always check the whole of the ico you are going to invest.

I think diversification is the key here and research.

Spread your money over a few projects / altcoins and if one pays off then you have made more profit, even if the other projects fail. I would also invest into one of the the bigger coins that is the flagship of all cryptocurrencies.

Well considering this ico become more popular because "money grab". Who does not want some easy money? The question is are the many ico out there truly a good project ? Of course the answer is no, not all of them. Just think like this, in competition, there's only one 1st winner yeah sure you can count to 3rd winner etc. But yeah you get my point.

A few months ago that was an attainable option, but now there are too many ICOs to diversify. I'm not sure if it's better to invest in a lot of ICOs without even doing a background check or to do research and cherry pick a few.

Diversification is key. Especially in high-risk environment.

Choosing an investment whether it's an ICO or a current Altcoin can be hard. Doing research about ICO's helps though.

You should consider real world uses and if they are viable. You also need to bear in mind human nature. By that i mean that all new technologies, be it photography and cinema in the late 1890's and the internet via www almost 100 years later, always draw in people from a couple of industries in particular, namely Sex and Gambling.

People, by nature of course, have a huge interest in sex and people can monetize that. It's also true of gambling, though that came along a lot later after the introduction of WWW due to technological limitations at the time.

yes you are right ,, now lots of new ICO.
it will make us a little confused to choose a good ICO and we deserve to believe to be an investment.
but for me it will only choose a good range of ICO and worth to invest.
because usually if the ICO is good, the team will continue to work on developing and optimizing existing projects. it will make us more fortunate than having to choose to invest in all ICO.

ICO is a new trend of investment recently and it has been popular to all of us. however there are so many ICOs recently make us hard to find out which one is scam, and therefore we have to accept the risks, and do research carefully about that ICO before invest in it.

I believe its always advisable to invest in few productive investments. There are so many ICOs out there, one must observe the credibility of the ICO by going through their white paper, road map and the team handling the project.

I don't think the fact that there are more ICO's mean that you have to invest into more. If anything it means you can be pickier as you can research what should be there and what the weaknesses are. it is a little more work, but breeds better ICO's

Yes there are lot's ICO and its bit confusing which one more legit, It would be better to read term and condition about ICO and see legal section as well. Recently i joined Gilgamesh and it's pretty cool for! :)

Yis you need to choose very well and keep research and read and understand to avoid bad ico.

I don't think more means you have to go for more ICO's just pick projects that you like.

I work on getting ETH and only invest 5-10% of it in ICO's monthly, just because there are more projects, doesn't mean I invest more. Just be more ruthless with your choices.

of course I prefer on projects that have the potential to invest in the long term or short term.

if you will decide to yourself to sart investing on ICOs, you will need to follow every project thatyou invested and the concurents... If you will do that, if you will follow and understand new ones, making the corect choises will never be a problem to you

When it come to ICO, you are faced with unknown outcome and you can only speculate and hope that you are right in the long run! I will definitely look out for good project possibly project with working product and services. I will also look at some other project base on different parameters!

A few good investments. Unless a really good one pops up, most ICO's are people that are trying to get rich through their scam coins. There's so many out there now that most will die out. For me, I would just pick some reliable coins and let them sit there for a couple years to see where they take me.

Deciding if and ICO is good or bad requires experience and knowledge. You are right there are so many of them and most of them are not good on in other words scam. If you not an experienced investor don't put your money into some unknown ICO , just ask your friends or people who are in the business for a long time.

Now I think you have to pick the right ones, there are simply too many ICOs.

HDAC, a IOTA competitor by Hyundai, already raised 13 thousand Bitcoin in the presale and the TGE is still going on for 12 more days. With such a big name attached and having raised so much, seems like a solid bet.

not all the ICO that has bad collection was unsuccessful :) so yes, as you say, if team is good, they will continue development, and one day, it will give a big profit :o

I don't think it is good idea to invest ICO as most of them are scams. It is better to invest in bitcoin and starts collecting rewards from those hardfork coins.

Since the price of ETH is growing and I can see a lot of ICO projects do not change the ICO price, so I will not join in any ICO projects for now. But I will try to join in when the ETH price is stable.

Yes that right a hundreed of ICO in amonth, this is to many and some project has bad quality, so now to find good one is by choose ICO that has working product already because this is the prove that project will be serious in development in forward.

There are tons of ICO projects, you need to analyze every project that you want to join in. You need to know the team and read whole profiles and whitepaper from every project to know which the best one to be joined in. You also need to ask your friend about that project if they're good in analysis.

The ICOs of today are very risky because some shady people have started to use them as opportunities to scam people. If i were you, my suggestion would be to instead invest in "blue chip" or more stable currencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum.

You won't earn as much as you potentially could with ICOs and new coins but you'd sleep better knowing that your money won't suddenly disappear tomorrow. Bitcoin and Ethereum are stable choices that already have much potential as cryptocurrencies. Speculation is bullish on these two and you could still get some good gains if you enter the market today.

Nowadays ICO's are popping up like mushrooms in a forest. Its crazy how many new projects there are, but to be honest, I think that this crowdfunding model is still in its infancy. With a regulatory framework incoming it is likely that we will see another big increase of the number of startups that will try their luck through an ICO.
The problem is that the majority of those ICO's are eighter scams, dont have a good idea, have no use for the blockchain or they have no real world use case. Its very hard to distinguish the legit ones from the scams. Even with due dilligence its becoming harder every day, because the scams are also developing and disguising as professionals. One has to be really careful.
But among all those not needed ICO's there are a few gems that will be worth investing in. But its hard to pick the winners. Good luck and always do a lot of research!

If you are sure that those ICO are good then go ahead. Many ICO are existing now that some are fraud, scam, failue and bankrupt in which it might lost your money but for me one to two ICO are good so that i could focus to monitor them because if you have lot of ICO you may miss some of them that it might be the losing ICO.

Depends on how the ICO will hype even on their sale period. There are projects that you can see have a potential on their early phase.

Mostly I joined their bounty instead if I want to have some rather than investing as Im only an average earner which wants to risks money on trades and not by purchasing tokens at the sale period.

There are too many ICO because there's too many IDEA. Also crytocurrency is trending nowadays thus we should expect people flocking in crytocurrency.

i agree there are so many ICO recently, that really make us hard to define which one is worthy to invest because most of them are useless and many are scam, so our duty is to do research and find out which one is the best ICO to invest.

To do a research is a bit difficult to think. Why? it makes you try to take your analyzation become your responsibility to check various aspects in the ico.

a lot of ico that appears, we only need to choose and selective to choose which ico to follow. because if we do not choose a good ico sometimes just disadvantage and not give profit.

I believe in investing in ico's, because this is when the coin is at it's infancy stage. Do the research see the roadmap total coin distribution ( number of tokens) and background of developers. If viable invest.

About scam: yes, it is. Lot of scam projects and it's a nowadays reality.
However I believe it's less and less numbers of ICOs because the days when a developer could create a scam coin and earn tons of money are (luckly) gone. Now you have to prove your project is a nice one otherwise nobody going to invest in it.
