Are we in a bubble? Think back to the US real estate bubble of 2006-2012, or the dot com bubble of 1997-2001. Bitcoin’s rise surpasses them all.

I have not sold bitcoin right now, I'm still expecting a higher price, I will sell when Bitcoin reaches $ 12500

I don't think its right to sell now. Btc still moving forward than before so I will advise you to still hold it and continue smiling :-\ :-*

Bitcoin has now not only crossed 10k mark but suddenly it has surged to 10700$ . This 700$ movement has being in no time . Just people were waiting for the year end to mark the 10k but in November end only it has risen above 10700$ mark. So are we seeing 12000 this Christmas or will we see a fall before Christmas.

I think it's not the time yet, bitcoin drives me crazy, because every time I predict bitcoin is always wrong. and today the bitcoin price is well above my predicted price.
I think the right attitude today is hold, until bitcoin value above $ 13000. we'll see the end of the year.

Though bitcoin's value is soaring high as of the moment and kind of tempting to change those coins to cash, i think it's best to hold on a bit. I'm still hoping for it to reach pass 10k by the end of the year; kind of risky though but i do believe it will continue to rise.

Its up to you that how much risk you want to take. Because i think the bitcoin price will increase a lot more in future but it can't be said with surety. So, if you don't want to take more risk then you sell them but if you can take risk then hold it for some more time.

Yes, it's time to pay attention to the risk. Christmas is coming, and the price of bitcoin is already 10K. I'm going to sell some of it. Will you be the same as me?

I think I will sell a little because I expected there will be a correction soon and whne the correction happen I will biy it again, but if you don't want to take a risk and dont want to spend your time to keep on looking the price then just hold, because the price will keep going up again in the future

i will not sell my bitcoins because its now over 10k $ bucks,i think we have much more space to increase .
one month to go for 2018 and we are even now already over 10k,im really excited what will happen 2018 with bitcoin.

   I think it is good idea to sell some bitcoins today. If you got 100% profit, for examle, then selling half of it is resonable. Noone knows the future but you can get your dollars back and still keep some coins, why not?

I guess no, the price of bitcoin still increasing right now and not stop! Maybe hold it more ? Hard to not say we are not in a bubble but the reality the bubble still not popped. Well just following the flow and let's see how long the price of bitcoin can stay at $10,000. Still hoping this all thing is not a bubble though.

If you think people around the world will stop needing a decentralized currency, selling is your best option. if you are unaware of an economic war between US and RU and US vs CH you would sell now, the best option for you.

some are hinting of a looming crash, while some don't think that it'll go that far. it's really up to your own conviction. sell up and take your gains or wait up for the ultimate peak. just remember to be prepared to lose that amount you're willing to lose.

i'm actually both anxious and confident (lol) about bitcoin's milestone. and i'm thinking that there certainly will be a price correction - but not an outrageous crash - unless a really unpleasant news jars the crypto economy.... if anything like that happens, cryptocurrency - not just bitcoin, might lose credibility.

I think if your vision is long term then hold it. Otherwise you can move on alt coins.

You can sell your coins when Bitcoin's price start's to decrease after the CME on December 2nd Week, but then again who knows, everyone of us are speculators and we cannot but wait on what will be happening within this year, as of now I am happy to this new milestone of Bitcoin hitting $10K is really amazing even if the month of november is not yet ended, What will be happening to December? Reaching $12K?

sell and move on? i can understand why you talk about selling because of the price rise but what i don't get is what is the move on part about? move on to what? bitcoin is still the same decentralized cryoptocurrency that offers lots of things if you stop thinking only about the price for a moment!

your article is also a short story of the same old thing calling bitcoin a bubble without any originality to the arguments.

Nope, not true. The dotcom bubble was worth trillions, without even considering inflation. Bitcoin isn't even worth half a billion right now. I always see the two being compared, but come on. The dotcom bubble only lasted 4 years, while Bitcoin has already existed for 8. Bitcoin has lasted twice as long, with only a small percentage of the value.

The article cited few facts, and was really just issuing a warning that Bitcoin could be like the tulip incident. Yeah, okay.

Dotcom bubble lasted 4 years in the boom phase, bitcoin has only this years tarted to reach the masses.

Personally I'm just selling small bits along the way the slowly cash out a bit and hedge against a crash.

The dotcom bubble last longer than this and way bigger than bitcoin marketcap, bitcoin is just booming this year, it's been moving sideways for two years before finally moving again so i don't think it's the right time to sell your bag. I will sell a little because christmas is around the corner but i will keep holding the rest for another year or two.

Those economic war among those nations would serve rather as catalyst for further adoption of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. At the end of the day, many more people would be having to adopt Bitcoin to stay safe from their ever devaluing local currencies and that would leave the price of Bitcoin soaring even more.

I must say congrats to all Bitcoiners even if what you're currently holding is 0.00000001BTC, we all kept the community and spirit alive and here we're today! There is no need to hurry off to sell if you do not have a very pressing need, on the contrary, this is rather the time to hold tight or possibly increase one's hodl before the institutional traders swoop into the market, in no distant time.

For my strategy I have sell at least 75% of my remaining bitcoin and conserve to hold the remaining 25% on my account because I am still expecting the rise of bitcoin price by the end of the year at least 12,000 USD that would have a huge bonus for us. I mean we now know that bitcoin have still much to grow in terms of its price in the market and has capability to surpassed many more expectations.

for me i'd rather keep 80% and sell the remaining percentage as a reward for myself, bitcoin has made a milestone reaching 10k worth, and i am confidently sure that it will reach 12k in no time, like what chinese businessman says, a small profit is still a profit. do not put all your faith in todays trend. just play safe.

It's up to you, for me I'll pop a bottle to celebrate $10k but still hold, that's just my position on it and I feel there might a slight correction but still want to hold for next surge. Who knows really, there's no Bitcoin Wizard that knows it all.

I like your predict mammusu, I'm sure it will happen later this year. Bitcoin makes people confused and angry when they do not have, but when they have confused they will sell or keep holding it. They must be in doubt.

This comes down to individual decision in my opinion.  People hold or sell for various reasons and based on available information.   For me, i'll still hold my tiny little amount.  I think that there will no doubt be a correction in price at some point, i don't know, nor can i speculate when that correction will take place but its pretty likely it will happen.

Yes congratulation to all who are holding bitcoin for $10000, don't sell it right now. It will be double from here in next few year. Only few percent of people have bitcoin right now, most of investor is looking to invest in bitcoin. They are exploring and investing in  bitcoin to get return in future. Please hold it at least next two more year get the level of $2000.

$1000 is very high and good price. But it can be more caompare with interest people with bitcoin.
If $1500 for this is your opinion i think is too hard since the only month left is just december.
But lets see what happen with bitcoin, nothing impossible with crypto.

I still have the BCH and BTG that came with it so I am already 2k ahead of 10,000  :)

I predict Bitcoin to cross $30K in 2018, so I am holding my Bitcoins.

If you must agree with me and has followed the paste of things in the exchange market bitcoin has sustained a steady market increase and from bitcoin news on YouTube you will notice the fall of dollars against other asset like gold, cryptocurrencies and bitcoin is taking advantage of that to deal a heavy blows on the dollar in the exchange market.
So bitcoin will keep on rising in term of price and selling at this point is like selling off an assets when it is most promising, bitcoin will reach $12000 before December ending this year.

I have not sold yet, as I am waiting for further growth of bitcoin if the price approaches the amount that I am tired of then I will start to think whether to sell or not

wow we almost reach $11k, the price now gives a good number $10.817 according to bittrex and the price still increases, maybe we can see $11k-$12k in this december. congratulations to people which selling their bitcoin and make a lot of profit. I'm selling my bitcoin too to make a profit and I am waiting the price is down as correction price. I hope we are not in a bubble and only down a little for correction price that will happen.

The problem most people who simply held on to their BTC until now cant see is that in case there is a massive correction (which is not too unlikely altho the current trend says MOON) people wont get out in time

I mean some will for sure, but most wont - and simply lose value there.. Not saying BTC wont recover rather quickly if a correction happens, but most these holders wont be able to make profit out of a correction.

Yeah, maybe it the right time for bitcoin this year because in short period of time bitcoin is bubble up in big amount of price. It is the perfect timing to buy or sell your bitcoin now because your money you invest on bitcoin will reached/gain high profit because of price rising of bitcoin.

I've been holding since May, not a long time indeed, I was on the verge of selling (And have sold once or twice) at previous price peaks. It was truly astonishing to see Bitcoin reach $11.000 today. If you asked me one month ago, I would even bet that it wouldn't happen within 2017, I'm happy I was wrong. Just sent all my BTC to an exchange, planning to sell everything really soon.

You mentioning that it's the period of bitcoin bubble, that's means that bitcoin could just exploding and gets dumped so hard right? I think you just complimenting bitcoin's price rising in a negative way.
But I must agree with your 2nd point, the price of bitcoin keeps on rising and there's no stop. mainly because limited supply and the growing of adopters.

If you really trust bitcoin and sees it's future potential then you should know that it is the best time to hodl the coin. The current price only means that more and more people is trusting bitcoin more and it is having a more brighter future.

in my opinion this is the right time , sell your bitcoins now , we don't really know when will the bitcoin go down or go up , so while its high sell it , take the opportunity

why do you think it could go up to $190k ?

If $11 000 per Bitcoin is your life goal, just sell it now. But so far there are no sign that Bitcoin price will stop to rise, so maybe in future you will regret for your decision. Offcourse, price correction can came soon, but it'snormal thing and you shouldn't be worried about it much. I think we can call current situation as a bubble, but i think it's different from your mentioned examples.

If you are looking for the short term then I don't see any such exit opportunity like this rally. However, it will be a huge loss considering the long-term growth potential and hence I wouldn't sell my holdings as I am expecting exponential performance in the long run but if you can't resist yourself to hold even in the worst case scenario then it is a better time to do so in my opinion but as I said, it will be a point of regret after 5 or 10 years.

Bitcoin isn't about changing back to fiat to "earn profits". Bitcoins are money. If you're selling a better kind of money for the old kind of money you're clearly missing the big picture. If you walk into your bank tomorrow and they tell you you can't withdraw your funds, guess what. YOU CAN'T WITHDRAW YOUR OWN MONEY! Stop trusting random people with your money!!! It's YOURS! Own it!

But the only reason Bitcoin is reaching these numbers is that most people think it's an investment tool rather than a medium of exchange.

If you are a trader then lock in profits and sell Bitcoin at 10,000-11,000. Then buy it on the declines in the area of 8500 - 8000.
If you are an investor, then best of all to hold bitcoin.

After the flash crash yesterday it might be a good time to accumulate and buy more. Then sell at $11.000 or higher for a nice profit.  ;)

I would love to buy your bitcoins if you have one. It only means that you are in this forum for nothing. If you really trust bitcoin you should know that it is just the beginning of a more higher price. It just broke the $10,000 barricade and price even went up to $11,500. That only means that bitcoin is really getting more popular and more people are investing on it and we should expect the price to go higher in the next months.

Forget about sell bitcoin. This coin is only for strong HOLD and not sell in any way. May be few corrections, but after this BTC have more power to go forward

depend on you. if you want more profit hodl for a month. but all of of us need also fiat. so need to encash a little bitcoin for our expenses. the buy again in low price if you have extra money. that is the game today

You will have to wait for a little longer. The bitcoin price is going to decrease. Perhaps it is going to reach the price you mentioned and then drops. That is why you should keep an eye on the price. You should always check if it increases or decreases. That is how to be a good trader.

Plus, you should have a plan B if the price did not reach 12500$. You know that the bitcoin price is unpredictable and it always surprises you. For instance, I did not know it would reach 10k$. It is beyond expectations.

The best clever decision is to hold more than half of portfolio and then invest the other portion into other Cryptocurrencies but if you need money then you can sell some of them.
Bitcoin has proven that it's price is constantly increasing so you'll regret if you sell your Bitcoin and after a year it will reach $50,000 to $100,000... That's more than you'll ever imagine

In my opinion, if you already have reached your goal/have gained enough profit, you could sell your btc now and move on. It all depends on one's decision making and management of own investment. Greed could take over if you don't set your goal for your investments.

No.Its not time to move on.This price is far less than what actually bitcoin deserves.It is predicted to still move in bullish trend.Wall street companies entering the market would definitely trigger bitcoin price more.

Or else,you could do one thing.If you want to enjoy the price rise a little bit,then just sell 20% of your bitcoins.Even if its price falls down,you could buy that 20% of bitcoins again at a lower rate.On the other hand,if its price increases,you still have almost 80% of your bitcoins in your hand.
