Bitcoin is dropping its value in 24 hours. Do we need to sell it now? or it will go rise again?

if you think it "is" dropping then the answer is obvious enough. you must sell.
but if you see the price "has already" dropped, then no, it is already too late for you to sell.

so try to figure out which one of these are happening right now so you can make up your mind about  selling or not selling you bitcoins.

yes if we sold bitcoin before yesterday it was a good chance for profit but now the value of bitcoin is dropping and we are now not in a position to sell it it is a great loss for us. as some of the people are saying that bitcoin price will rise once again i am waiting for the right time to sell some of my bitcoin. i need some amount of money i want to sell it now .

You are thinking too short-term. Bitcoin is volatile, these price movements are inevitably going to happen. If you look at a daily chart, you will see red numbers everywhere and the price is falling. Look at a weekly chart and the price has remained more or less the same in comparison to the last week. Look at a monthly chart and you will see how much the price increased within the last month.

There are no short term investments. So don't spend too much time looking at daily trends.

Why are you selling them now? It's price has just dropped from $11,400+ to around $9000? Don't you think it is too low of a price to sell them? Hold it while you still can, always remember in trading that you should buy low and sell high not the other way 'round.

I think no. Because I hope that bitcoin price will again increase in 24 hours. If you think that it's price in 24 hours time you can sell it. But i hope It does not cost less.

I do not hurry to sell all my bitcoin. While the value of bitcoin is decreasing, people are eagerly buying it for storage. I will not sell a bitcoin. and buy more bitcoins. In the future, bitcoin will have higher value and will bring me more profit
 

do not panic mate is a part of movement of currency but if you want to sell your bitcoin is up to you, there nothing wrong to sell your bitcoin have an expensive high value the price, but i believe bitcoin pumping again more than 11,000 before end of this year.

It is not wise for any body not to see this coming, the sudden high increase in the price of bitcoin was not going to be stable after all, but what I believe is that the price is going to rise again and we are going the to have the $10000 market cap in this early December.

a good time to sell bitcoin is when the price is still higher than the previous day(s). but when you look at the charts and see the price is already low and most importantly when you look at it and see it is finding the bottom finally, then it means you are already too late to sell and it is time to "buy" instead of selling because the reversal will happen soon.

bitcoin is digital money, it's price is unstable. The good time to sell bitcoin is it's price in current higher it's price when buying it. Now, the price of bitcoin is high, so now can be considered a good point to sell.

$10000 was the biggest sentimental upward stop loss for bitcoin. Many experts have predicted this before. But bitcoin even crossed that level and hit $11000 mark. That was a good opportunity to book your profits. Because rolling down of bitcoin price was sure. And same happened. After touching $11000 bitcoin rolled nearly 21%, and settled around $9000. It is time buy more bitcoins. December target is of $17000. So forget selling start buying.

From my experience in bitcoin last two years it is a good time to sell the bitcoin because now a days the price of bitcoin is increases very much on shirt period of time so in the future the price of bitcoin may be decrease down  slowly or if the price of bitcoin is not decreasein the future the price of bitcoin may also not increase in the future for few month. It was a very good time to sell it when it was over $11,300. In that case you could make your profit, and deal further with altcoins that are cheap now. However, for now I would rather wait a bit and keep by BTC.

I think it depends on your trust as well as the current state of your economic status that supports sales or still holds bitcoin, as the current price of bitcoin has increased by approximately $ 10,580. And good enough to do a sale or holding transaction.

I'd say that there is no point in selling anything now since the market continues to look bullish, and if there is a change then it is entirely up to you to choose your time to sell because there is nothing I can tell you which is something you can benefit from. It is all down to personal interpretation of the market, and I can't give you info that matters, really, so take my comments with a grain of salt.

I'd say you can easily get some extra bitcoin by selling now and buying again in 1-2 months. You will get it at a much lower price.

No, i think this is not the right time to sell BITCOINS because in coming year its price will definately increase and that will be beneficial for the investors.
We can hold them for the future also as it is being accepted by many websites. I think it will reach 20000USD next year and that is the huge amount. So just wit for some time you will really get the good results.

Bro there is two things happens one is correction and second thing is bitcoin is sustaining. If you don't have emergency expenses don't sell your bitcoin. Bitcoin price is getting bounce back it is already crossed 10000 USD mark and it next target is 15000 USD. So don't panic hold your bitcoin.

It's depends to the owners if they were sell their bitcoin regardless the amount. I'm trading it right now at 11k, i'm surprised at the amount of people that are scared by a 24 hr drop. Prices will rubber-band, and consider the amount of people that don't even know what bitcoin is. It still has a lot of growing to do.

i think some people are making some target price it is good for you if you have that cause you have the price where you are able to sell your bitcoin but some are thinking that it may go more but for you to not miss the price that you wanted to sell and never ever got some regret for , sell it if you want.

I do have a target price just like other people but I won't be needing much so I will hold most of my bitcoin. I have trade at $11 000 just for financial purposes. I do really think that what is wrong with some other people's way of saving is that they sell whenever the price suddenly goes down. What I mean is that, panic selling is no good at all, it will be better to trade at higher prices in case of emergencies.

I guess we would just hold it first for a while. No buying and no selling. Just observe the flow of the volatility of bitcoin. This will lessen the probability of loss.

For me the rise of Bitcoin was too fast. I think that a correction will happen any time soon and therefore its maybe a good choice to sell now as long as it is still ~$11,000, Im not an expert, but my gut feeling tells me that growth should be organic, and $1000 in one day definitely isnt good. So I hedge in fiat and wait for the correction, if it does go up higher, I still made enough profit.

I think yes if you would like to trade it, sell it now and buy back when the price drop 5%-10% , so you will get more amount of Bitcoin. But if you would like to hold Bitcoin for longterm investment for the better just hold and dont sell it, because the price still strong up trend in the long term.

Now is the time to sell half of your bitcoin and hold the rest for the future! Even if the price never falls you'd still have a good amount left with you. So I'd suggest that hold half of your coins and you can sell the rest if you wanr. And if in the coming future bitcoins value drops buy the amount yiu sold again or maybe invest the profit you'll get after selling it now too. That'll be juat pure business. So you can take most out of bitcoins!

Bitcoin is to  be hold till 2018 December, as market scenario is pointing BTC to next heights.. maybe 50000 USD in a year..

i think there is no time to sell bitcoin because the selling of the bitcoin will regit you one day so this is not time sell bitcoin. The selling of bitcoin will not give you that profit which you can earn from the holding these bitcoin for a time of period so that the value pumped up really high and you will get increase in your money directly.

Bitcoin is not about the ups and downs of it's prices, Bitcoin is about another paradigm shift in finance! Bitcoin is a new way of storing, exchanging and spending value. So, worry less about it's price. You ain'tsee nothing yet!

I think you know better than us, that's your strategy your money, it's your decision. Most people ( I believe ) will sell because the price is high but for people who like challenge they will " hold " it. For someone who is really trying to trade and knows what he is doing, should not even be asking where to sell cause he won't even know when to buy back out of greed. Normally, if you do not have a strategy, there is no point trading as everything being done at those moment will only be gambling. For OP, I cannot say if he asked the question because he was panicking or he was just not sure if it was right for him to sell, but which ever way, I will advise him to better just hold what he has than trying to gamble his exit and entry point.

Depending on the time you bought in, if you buy in the range of 7k to 9k you may sell for a margin of 20 to 30%. But if you bought very high let say 10k territory, selling might not be good for you. Bitcoin is still bullish on the chart!

Well the price did drop and ended up going back within few hours. You should never be panicking when you see a price drop. All it does is make the situation more worse. And you only sell when you want to, not when you see the price has dropped.

I respect your opinion as everyone got their own opinion and thoughts but I think it's not a bad time either to sell bitcoin I mean when I say sell it's not selling everything but a part of it and reinvest those funds in upcoming altcoins which might become a mainstreamer in future or simple trade it for exchange of altcoins.

Lol. For a trader before what we have now, anything around $10,000 upward was a good time to buy then.
Bitcoin is now above $11,000 for a while now and it has been giving some pretty good stability for now even though I still feel anything can still happen to make it go lower in few days to test support.

as long as you get profit, you can sell it for now, but dont sell it all of your btc, better to hold 70% of them in order to get more profit when the price rise again. and those 30% can be used into trading and invest in some altcoin or buy bitcoin itself again in lower price.

The price of Bitcoin is rising day by day because the institutional investors are pouring their capital. It is unclear that why they are doing the same but as of now, I won't sell my funds and won't buy either because I do see a correction in the price soon and exponential rise in the long-term. Right now Bitcoin price is in a bullish trend so, it is best to keep all your fund in the wallet. With the increased demand of bitcoin I don't see the price to go down. The correction may happen in the end of the year which will drop down the price but I don't think it will bring a huge difference to the price because the demand is already too high. Today is December 8, a week after you made your claim and the price of one (1) bitcoin amounts to $17,000. It doubled its amount after a week and no one knows when this cycle will continue. Personally, I would wait until $20,000 and I will sell all of my coins and convert it to cash.

I think that we are due for a correction down to about 14k in the next day or two so if I had a sizeable amount of bitcoin I would like to think I would have the balls to sell and look to rebuy.

yes, it is time to hold your bitcoin, patience is the key of your success. bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency, there no risk to hold your bitcoin. sometime people still doubt and when they see the price little down, they sell all of their bitcoin, they didnt believe bitcoin will kee rise again, actually when the price are down, you habe the chance to buy it more.

for me i gonna still wait for a higher price then im going to sell then ill buy bitcoin if the price is on low.

We cannot say when will the Bitcoin goes up or down but you must set your mind for holding a Bitcoin for a long term investment. As you can see the trend of price from early this year up to now, it is keep on increasing. Yesterday the price of the bitcoin decrease at $9000 dollars plus and Im happy now because they recover slightly because the price is 11,800 dollars and for sure it will continue to increasw now.  If you sold your bitcoin yesterday you lose some profit for sure so better if you buy bitcoin now because anytime it will increase more and possible become 15k dollars and become 20k dollars in the next month. People like you always care about the price when it decrease you start panic, listen to your emotional and at the end you lose money. Bitcoins is a long term investment not a short one.You start trading at high when the price drop you sell it. Bitcoin trading never work like this. As of now the price of the bitcoin decrease from 11k dollars plus to 10,800 dollars at this moment. I don't thinks this is the right time to sell your bitcoin because for me decreasing price is only temporarily and for sure most of the bitcoin usef will hold their bitcoin and they will buy again so that's why the price will recover again and you will gain again profit.  So don't worry if the price of the bitcoin decrease it's normal all coin experience that.

I dont think that this is the time to sell bitcoin because we will face a huge loss if we will gonna sell it now, the price of bitcoin is low right now and we will gonna sell it? For me we should buy more bitcoin to hold, and we should trust bitcoin because trusting bitcoin may result a lot of profit.

Its not actually a huge loss whereas we seen only a big ATH but again from 8k usd before it rise was still a big price for bitcoins. Everytime is a good tine to sell it only corresponds for your reason why you would sell.

Every time I say to myself there is no way I would buy into bitcoin because it is too expensive, I look back a few weeks later and it is astonishingly moving up even higher. From $4.5k I was thinking this. I think BTC is a good long term investment for people that have spare cash to experiment with. For someone like me that is a small fish, I'm going to continue to think that it is too expensive. But more importantly, transactions are too slow for my taste after seeing the speed of many other alts.

I think to sell it is up to you, if you already get a profit, maybe with the price down you can sell it to avoid losses, but if you have not gained profit then you should hold it until you get a profit.

I think, its not the right time now to sell bitcoin, especially if the price is not too high. Its better to keep it and just wait for the best time before you sell. But its up to you if you know that you can get profit and the price is good then you sell it. When in terms of investing you don't need to panic to sell your bitcoin, the best thing you will do is wait and hold it until you will know and you can sure that you earn a good amount of profit.
