Basically its another Bitcoin Gold ... except no premine on this one.

Yes, I also tried to understand what it means .. on the one hand Hardfork, on the other No Pre-mine. How would you get a new coin through the fork from zero? on the blockade of bitcoin? and generally more questions than answers, you could not more specifically explain ..

Just have to wait to see what happen to Bitcoin Platinum. Is not worth to risk to lose all your Bitcoin to claim something if not worth the risk.

what's algo , and wallet ?

Its basically a Bitcoin fork like Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold.

You will need to download the entire blockchain like before. This is very similiar to Bitcoin Gold except there is no pre-mine which should make it more appealing.

Haha it is ridiculous how many forks there are being created lately, what a joke! A transaction time of 2,5 minute is still way to long if you ask me. How can you expect stores and companies to accept this is a payment? There are tons of other projects that transfer transactions within seconds... another shit fork

I believe time is coming that we will see combination of both Ethereum and Bitcoin fork, for what purpose is this new fork going to serve, I understand BCash the other forks are borne out of greed.

Bitcoingold already went with equihash, should have tried something new, SHA256 and scrypt are boring, I still see voids to fill in the cryptonote sector.

Who are the people behind this fork ? Anyone can fork the main chain and create copy of Bitcoin. These forks are loosing attraction because of the intention of making quick money. That is interesting fact this one will be without premine. Let's wait and see how things roll out this time.

Yes, almost anyone could fork the chain and can make a bitcoin clone.

The thing is, you need some miners to work/mine on the forked chain. But miners are putting their hashpower only in profitable coins, of course.

Let's see how things turn out.

I am 90% convinced that this is a scam! Beware, people!
This guy AltFreq has 3 posts, two of them are advertisement for this website. I think he is advertising fake Bitcoin Platinum wallet which is supposed to give you ability to claim Bitcoin Platinum coins if you enter your BTC private key. They will probably steal all your bitcoins.

No idea what is going on with this coin. Their twitter and website have all gone Chinese and it looks like they rolled forward the fork date to block 500,000.
