If the circulation is even 10% of the total that would mean a 90 millions $ market cap.

I read in their whitepaper, that they allocated 0.6 billions DBC in the Pre-sale and 0.9 billions DBC  in the ICO Sale. So a total of at least 1.5 billion should be the circulation supply.
That would mean a marketcap of 135 millions $; at least that's what i think

Also another 0.25 billions DBC will be unlocked (acording to their whitepaper) in the first month so that will impact the marketcap and token price.

ICo price was less than 0.02$ - 3000 tokens for 1 NEO (by 40 usd current price at the ICO time). People probably crazy. There are 10 billions tokens. With price 8 cent - its 800 millions marketcap for new project with nothing.

How do you calculate the 800 million marketcap?

The total supply does not equal the circulating supply.

At the moment, it is not clear how much the circulating supply is.

The crowdsale ended after 15 million dollars were raised. Roughly calculated: 15 000 000 divided by 0.02 dollars = 750 000 000 circulating supply.

This would bring the current marketcap at 750 million x 0.052425 dollar = 39 318 750 million dollars which seems quite small.

Am I wrong in this calculation?

10 would put it next to bitcoin and far above neo. 100 would make it twice the MC of all crypto.

What is the current market cap? How many circulating coins?

How will they be releasing the remaining tokens?

After this XRP boom, I'm not counting out a top 10 spot for coins with large circulating coin supplies. If NEO team believes in this project, then I'm hoping we get somewhat close to NEO in market cap.

Coin supply is completely irrelevant. What matters is total supply versus circulating supply and how they will be releasing the unreleased coins. Its 1.5b now -- 100b available. If they are planning on using the coins to inflate/ deflate the price to keep it stable, its a bad long term investment. If they planning on doing something like Stellar, releasing only 1% a year, it does not really matter to investors since this has little effect on the price.

I just looked it up in the whitepaper, pg14. 2.5b released into the market and then 10% a year. The rest goes to the ecosystem, the team, etc. So there should now be 2.5 b in the market which puts the current market cap at around 250m.

Nobody reading the whitpaper correctly, the current circulating supply is 900mil. It will increase end of next month when vesting ends. The other half will be mining so wont be out soon. Current market cap at $0.08 per coin is $72 mil. ICO valuation the coin was $0.016 or around $15mil.

Also neo and the devs who own most of the coins are vested and the best time for them to cash out is when it hit binance, so us early investors are still safe.

On the 1st page write: Neo invested 1 mln, not 15 mln. And this is not own blockchain, this is only NEO token. So it's inappropriate to compare Ripple and DeepChain.

More and more projects is launching on neo, dbc is the most recent one but I believe we will see alot more during 2018.

I got in at the ICO and am still HODLing now. No regrets, just patience was needed.

I was talking about how RPX ICO was conducted. KYC passed but I never got mail with hash, I also tried to contact the team few days before ICO but they stopped responding - pathetic. Regarding QLink hash showed on page few minutes later when ICO was already closed.

So yes, DeepBrain Chain was the best conducted ICO on NEO so far.  

It will def go minimum $10 this year and we're getting at cheapest price now( ICO was cheapest actually) after ICO.  Once it starts trading in Huobi and other exchanges, and expect more and more news starts coming and price will go. This could be a bench mark for any future AI ICO's in 2018 and beyond.

Im interest also about circulating supply because the total supply of 10,000,000,000 makes the price of $0.135 already high.

they sold for 15 mil in presale and ICO so the circulating supply should be around 80 million I guess. I like Kucoin but Huobi is a multitude bigger so wondering how that will effect the price. Eary January listing would mean this week and also it was planned for start of trading.

Their roadmap is so vague and generic. All it has is competitions and marketing. They might know AI but they certainly don't know what to do with blockchain. This will need pumping from investors to go anywhere. Also, most good projects should list on bigger exchanges first. But smaller exchange makes it easy for pump and dump.

From what I hear, the Chinese site looks better than the English site. Could definitely use an improvement, but it's not terrible. Says previous clients and VC backers. Has a rough roadmap overview with past accomplishments and future goals. Would definitely like to see a team overview that lists all people apart of the project!

based on which facts are you seeing the potential of 1$? This would mean 5x in growth. As far as I understood, it basically has no working product yet, so for me not at all clear, how such a value is currently reasonable. But the business case in deed sounds very interesting.

When will there be a working project? Is there a credible roadmap ? Not so many information about this project are available.

Have you read about the team at all? So many coins in the top 100 don't actually have a working "product" - many still working on mainnet releases, yet still have huge market caps.. People are speculating on what teams can accomplish. DBC team have released quite a few AI / cloud related products in the past, and are accomplished in their respected field.

I'm excited to see what they can build using the blockchain. It's clear they know how to create successful AI products. With their history, I'm willing to bet exciting products are to come. Their success is the very reason they have backing/investments from highly respected Chinese VCs and the NEO team. Not to mention their list of clients clearly points in the direction of success.


Also, keep in mind people: Roadmap for Q1 2018 states the third phase of R & D (RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT) for the associated artificial intelligence operating system module, blockchain integrated application is completed.

Both of you asking about a working product, also have signatures for ICOs... which means you guys have no problem investing based on nothing but fluff. At least this team has accomplished things in the past, and proven they can build successful products.

The token just went public.. give the team time to complete their roadmap and milestones. I'm confident with my money on this one.. Just my 2 bits.

From a mining farm perspective our team would really like to know how to run and operate a gpu cluster node to earn DBC for our token community. After hours of research and several dead ends we cannot find a public github, or the method to do this; albeit it's mentioned in the whitepaper. Is this something their team is doing in house and proprietary? Any info is appreciated on this.

Really happy to see they are going on this tour. Been seeing some people doubt this project - even though the team has a successful history in AI and cloud based software/products, and were backed by NEO, and were backed by successful (tech oriented) Chinese VCs, and had/still have HUGE clients like Microsoft and Samsung utilizing DeepBrain AI systems in China. This team is working on improving this DeepBrain system with the use of Blockchain and coins.

Saw someone on reddit claiming this as vaporware - what a joke - this team did not get this far in AI and cloud based tech based off selling and developing vaporware. Innovation is afoot here, and of course this can cause skepticism. Best part about this coming innovation is that this team has DeepBrain AI systems being used by clients - large tech manufactures - and they have the ability to put DeepBrain blockchain tech to use on an enterprise level scale once they're done developing and beta testing. Can't wait for this team to release some game changers - the use case for their completed product will be huge.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH KUCOIN? It takes ages to login. The site throws me out 100 times a day!!

It is a pretty shitty exchange overall, so glitchy. Once DBC is on a different exchange, I expect things to ramp up more too. Overall, I think this remains relatively unknown and unspoken about across the crypto community.

Kucoin is a good exchange but the load is to heavy after bittrex and binance closed registraton for new users.

I'm certain that Kucoin & Binance have a connection to eachother. Kucoin is really getting a huge volume, a few month back barely touching 4 million dollars volume...

Now DBC is one of the top projects bringing some of that nice volume to Kucoin. Way to go!

I think it's absolutely crazy these exchanges had to shut down registrations because of the huge influx of new users. Exciting times for crypto in general. Makes me want to start up an exchange.. but my site would probably end up becoming Mt. Gox and/or Cryptsy 2.0  :P

I know it's still very early in Q1 2018... but I am very interested in mining for this project too. The whitepaper mentions CUDA GPUs and I have 10 of them mining right now (1060s, 1070s & 1080s). I sent them an email to ask if they need beta testers for mining but I'm guessing they will have plenty of Chinese speaking miners already... <sigh> wish I one of the Chinese languages.

seems like he (or they) is not only doing sell walls, but also buy walls, especially when the graph is about to breakout, it's also part of the strat. Just controlling the price and the pace and at the same buying ~50-75 satoshi less / selling ~50-75 satoshi more everyday all day long. And if you see these walls are getting higher like 1mil-2mil - i'd guess it is probably when he's afk, not sure tho

This is the way I understand it. you have two accounts one has 2 million DBC. Lets say DBC is selling for .50 you want to buy more DBC. so you list at 500,000 at .48. Now all those above .48 cant sell so everyone must sell at .48 or less. Then you log in with your other account with say 1000 ETH and suck up all the sells. when you have had enough you log back into your first account and remove the sell wall.

I got a problem when a want to send DBC from my NEON wallet to an exchange . It's always ERROR " transaction failed" .
I got a little amount of gas, about 0.2, is it enough to make the transaction?  is it another problem ?

Are you trading on Kucoin or what? If not, then go look. The price of DBC per Sat is being manipulated big time by a few whales. They set huge sell walls and huge buy walls and everything in between is getting crushed. For example: you sell your dbc at let say: 3000 Sat because at 3040 sat there is a huge 12 btc sell wall. So you know that sell wall become a sort of dam. So you sell at below 3040 Sat. Then the whales take away the sell wall at 3040 and set a buy wall at 3040 or maybe 3045 Sat. Now you have lost a bit.. and they take it up to 3100, 3200.. normal people get in despair because they miss the uprally. Then the normal buy at 3100 or maybe higher. What happened? Normal people sold their dbc at below 3040 and bought at 3100 or 3200. Then the whales take the price below 3000 and you going to lose again. This sucks and there should be done something about it!

By the way; Kucoin should have new, better servers. The exchange really lags, and the 2fa is trolling the hell out of me.

Deepbrain Chain is one hell of project though. I have big expectations about it.

Since Kucoin-volume is up to over 300 million, I'm sure they are expanding fast & are working as fast as possible to update their whole server park in order to be able to cope with the massive surge of users. If not, they will lose them fast...

I just wish the team would clarify as to how or IF this is related to the DBC project - at the moment is just seems like a DeepBrain project, so I'd really like some clarification here. Its one of the first movers on the NEO blockchain, that in itself is enough to be special and merit a lot of price action. Its based off of AI (artificial intelligence), so we will see what comes of that but it sounds like its funded well and has a solid team.

I expected a pullback after the huge January pump, but this thing may approach ICO price.  It may not happen this week, but when the market has a mini bounce I wouldn't get a false sense of security with that, the carnage probably isn't over for BTC.

currently we have a very good time to buy very cheap DBC tokens - 575 sats @kucoin

While the current price is def good (over 90% off peak price), I think this still has room to fall, the market is still in a bear phase and we're still well above ICO price.

I really like this project, it makes about 25% of my portfolio. I see this as a "high risk- high reward" investment.
What i like about DBC is, they bring up regular updates, so its not like with many other coins outside of the TOP 100, where the community hardly gets any updates from the team.

However, theres one thing that i want to discuss with you, as it concerns me a bit, and thats the big amount of competitors in that business.
I mean, literally, theres like one or two new AI blockchain projects coming up, week after week, recently.
I guess, at the moment, we do have already about 10 to 20 AI projects. Thats more than other projects are facing.

^^What makes you think DBC is high risk?  They've got quality team, partnerships and yeah the backing of Neo.  I understand cryptos in general may be considered high risk, but DBC as a crypto is one of the more safer cryptos if you ask me.

It's hard to know which AI companies will be the best, I think they can co-exist.  I haven't seen read the full value proposition of all of the projects to know clearly to know everything, but the AI space is shaping up to be really large in the future.

I just thought about skycoin and the related background regarding "skynet" maybe its not the best name giving the fact that it is around for such a long time and might lead to confusion. Hi DBC Admin. Do i need to verify my ID before i can verify my wallet or does it not matter. Can seem to verify my ID and when i try to validate my wallet it does not work. Really frustrating.

Do you have to have both a 3rd party wallet and ETH address entred for your wallet to vlaidate and if your previous validation fails to you have to send another .8712 DBC to the specified address everytime or will it identify the initial DBC sent. I've DBC twice now and it still is not validating. Confused...

DB Points, DBC, DBT, imo it's becoming more and more confusing. Add to that the fact that it's using NEO but for buying DBT it's using ETH and we got a token soap  ???

Moreover, I don't really get everything. There will be like a new ICO for the DBT, OK. The DBT will serve as a token for the exchange plat-form. But it's just temporary, isn't it ?

I paid 15 cents each during the peak and I am a hodler. It will go back to crazy high as soon we blink.

One thing that could be factoring to the price is that during this bear market people have been asking themselves that what projects actually NEED a blockchain. I myself have been questioning the relevance of it to DeepBrain project. To be honest i am not enough tech-savvy to make my mind on the subject.

Well the Deep brain chain project is still a good one but the developers needs to be a bit more focused and need to advertise the usefulness to the public. These days only those projects perform well whom marketing team does a good job projecting their project.

99.99% projects are in same situation so there is nothing to get shocked on going bear market hurting so bad. The good sign dev team is still active and working hard to make it back on the track.

I agree that many coins are down these days but still they are showing some movements. If we look at DBC it is just declining and we never see any upwards price movements even though there were some big partnership announced by the team, yet this also does not have a big impact on the price.

I am holding a lot of coins Dbc and i really hope the price will recover some day, but then it depends upon the team on how they deliver their project.

I think we should not conclude the things on deep brain chain and maybe give them some more time to develop further. I agree that many holders will be disappointed seeing the current prices and progress but then we should remember that we are still in the bear market. Once the money will come in crypto, we will see this project grow also.

I am thinking of revisiting the whitepaper and maybe getting back in if i see an actual need for this tech.

In simple words, we should not sell the Deep brain chain token for now. Rather i will suggest not to sell any token in 2019 because this is the year of Holding. If we are able to hold through out his year, we can be in huge profit next year.

The crypto market is an amazing place. This project raised $12 mln more than 1 year ago and we dont understand what is DBC about  ;D

this project is building something like ibm watson AI cloud computing service with a pay-to-use method using dbc token as mean of exchange for buy and sell compute power (for AI trainings).
BTW to understand this project u have to know how AI works (not in deep, just basic infos) and why is it necessary to buy other's computing power to improve AI,

DeepBrain Chain recently cross 100 SAT two days back after a long time. There may have been some developments in the project which cause this sudden price surge. But looking at this thread we can say that DBC is completely ignoring to give update of their project on this official ANN Page.

I do not see any further development or news from the admins. What was the reason of recent price surge in Deep brain chain ?

It could be just bottomed out. Not enough sell pressure, and just more people who want to stay in rather then cashing out. Nothing in the core of the project has changed and often end of the bear run doesn't even need a fundamental trigger.

Listing on Binance is just a Wish and i do not see any efforts being done by the team for the listing. Secondly, we are hearing this quite a while now that DBC will be list on Binance , but i don't see it listing anytime soon.

Well the whole speculation phase after the Antshares to NEO was too insane to hold up on the expectations, and that parabolic rise always comes down with a crash.
Deepbrain could either be opportunity as a long desperation phase or it was never going anywhere and people are just realizing it now. I'll gamble this soon anyway.

Why did they create another one project? VisionX is an incubator project of DeepBrainChain and as I see they almost the same vision. Will they work together?

Notice on the establishment of the DeepBrain Chain Council

As DBC has already launched on the mainnet and has been running smoothly, the foundation will take the decentralized on-chain governance, based on Polkadot Governance module, as its next priority. After in-depth discussion, the foundation decide to establish DBC council, which will run separately from the foundation and aim to improve DBC’s development.

DBC council is an on-chain entity consisting of 13 members. All theses members are elected by voting. This governance system will run for test within 2021. During the test period, the council will be elected every 14 days, and since 2022 it will be elected quarterly. According to polkadot governance system, the council can decide the priority of the proposals, and has access to the Treasury.

Accourding to DBC whitepaper, the foundation will unlock 1.5 billion DBCs within 6 years.

The project shows solid progress lately. DBC computing power network have reached 2402 GPUs from 5000 GPUs today. -https://galaxyrace.deepbrainchain.org/- When it reaches 5000 GPUs on mainnet, the coin burns out. This way DBC will go into deflation, so the value of Dbc  is supported and icreased.  Many new collaborations have been agreed. the team is concentrating on building the network, so it looks good.
