I sold some at 10,900 hoping it will fall again to rebuy in the 9000's as I purchased some around 10,300... Do you guys think another temporary slump will happen soon? Or cut my losses and rebuy now at over 11k?

i check bitcoin price curve and correction happen before 2-3 days.
it is hard to back again to less than 10,000$ but that does not mean you will loss your money or bitcoin is bad investment.
think about is like fall again mean cheap bitcoin price than can make you earn easy if you buy bitcoin
and if you sell it now you can buy more when prices back to less than 5000

It is pretty high these days and it is staying right now at $11,000. It is high so the only possible movement of the price is down but I doubt it will be reaching way back to $9,000, maybe at $10,000 but not gonna touch back again $9,000.

For me it is better to wait for some good movements before deciding to buy again. This is the last month of the year and most of the good prices and ATHs happened in the last month of the year. Better be patient mate.

the current bitcoin price continues to increase to 15000 k and even continues to rise but I think we can not predict whether bitcoin prices will fall again. I think that's the greatness of bitcoin like a magnet for the ever-growing investors who want to invest in bitcoin.

that is always expected. Bitcoin is volatile in nature and fluctuations including the ups and downs on its market value is just
normal. But the thing here is that we should not be afraid of the downfalls on its market value but rather take advantage of the dumps specifically, invest to it and Hold for a long period of time to earn huge profit in the future.
 

Price may go down, but for short run only. It may go down to $10,000 but I don't think not less than that. But for long run it will definitely go up for sure

There is no certain time or moment we could predict the sudden changes on value of bitcoin. It may depends the activity of each holders. Maybe it could fall again but not that too much, because as per trend analysis it really falls, but it rise again immediately, and in longer time it is high that it falls.

Better be sharp, drops are fast to recover because many wanted to buy at a low cost. So in every dump, it's eaten up by users fast.
Analyze the charts very well. Keep on waiting to sell at high and buy when it seems to be already starting to recover.

I don't think that's will be possible happened. Just aware Bitcoins it our future, if you would to sell your bitcoins now just reconsidering about that.

It is a good investment for the long-term, as we know from past experiences that BTC becomes more profitable over time. In the long-term you're definitely going to see an increase in your profit margin. But don't go all-in on Bitcoin, always keep some money on the side when investing in cryptocurrencies, just so you are prepared for any kind of eventualities that may appear on the way (very unlikely that something will happen but, just to be safe).

i think its depend on the whales, but for me have an incoming fork this coming december 12, i guess bitcoin dump a little and i can't give figure price as my prediction is hard to predict bitcoin as of now.

The price right now is really hard to predict but selling at that kind of price for me is not an ideal thing, just hold bitcoin because I know you see the potential of this great technology in the future. But its always your choice, don't just sell bitcoin because you earn some profit always look for higher profit which can happen in the future.

Looks like a distribution is in action right now, big money taking a profits on a strength of a demand. Everyone is preparing for CME Futures launching at Dec 18. Buy a rumors, sell a news. We will see a big correction before NY. Patience is a key of a good investment.

Very true..... I bought most of mine whenit was around $6500.. but Its going higher and higher so I will continue to hold and buy more at slumps I guess.

At this moment, There is no leak to attempt to dump bitcoin or another bitcoin price corrections and even December fork in which all of these are the possibilities that will make bitcoin price to fall down. If you sold your coin right now you may regret it because i think many altcoin holders will sell their coins to bitcoin because of the rapid price increase especially this month in which we believed it will rise up more to $14,000.  :-\ :-\

You are really lucky that you got your bitcoin at that price and a right decision to hold it because bitcoin will surely continue to soar higher and people who sell at the price right now may loose money in the future. Don't expect bitcoin to fall around $7k again, buy more bitcoin instead.

The fork that come in this december and in the year 2018 is only unofficial theres a tendency a small dump happen or maybe more its so really hard to tell what will happen to bitcoin but Im sure bitcoin is unstoppable right now if you really want to make profit so be sure to buy bitcoin and hold for a long term.

yes that is actually right, although bitcoin is unstoppable right now, you can expect dumps but not that really great dumps. even as now it is still sitting at a high price so its hard also to determine whether it will dump continuosly or it will rise again and create another ATH.

Yes I was lucky to buy at 6500 but feel I didnt buy enough! Im thinking buy now because even of it slumps in Dec... It probably wont go back to the 10ks if it continues to rise to quickly until then! But I may be wrong.

$ 10,900 is a good selling point so far, next you need a buyback point. I also hope there is a correction this month, at least bitcoin can fall below $10k. the last correction that took place at least $ 5k from about $ 7.5k, so a decrease of $ 2k is very likely. Keep in touch with the price progress to get better entry point.

I think we should be patient, bitcoin will still go up even if there is a correction it is normal. but bitcoin prices will stay up next year. and in a few years I'm sure the bitcoin price is very high. all we have to do is be patient if the price goes down. maybe it's only temporary and will not be long. because bitcoin will be increasingly in demand.

It cannot be said that will the prices would go down or they would go up, as Bitcoin has a very volatile nature so it can still be assumed that prices can fall down again and will gradually increase again in some time. But we cannot say that prices would go down as much as 9000 dollars again maybe it would go down till10,000 dollars.

Of course bitcoin price will fall from time to time even though the projection for 2018 is $25,000 per coin. It is called correction. The price is quite fluctuation now between 10500 - 11500. From past couple of days it is making 500$ up and down and might be possible that some correction could take place now itself and then till Christmas it can get quite stable. I think everything is possible with crypto correction will happen anytime.Many people wishes to pullback bitcoins price inorder to buy btc for a longterm investments,but btc price stays at $11k for 3 days by now and i can say that it will continue to rise before the year ends.People also predicts that it will continue to soar high and reach to $13k.If it decreases just wait when it  dump to $6k inorder you to make higher profit in the future.

I think the value correction of bitcoin will continue as there was a very high increase in btc. I think it will go and will stay at $10k but will not go lower than that. If now you fail at trading, there is still another chance to get those profits just hold your btc and wait for a dip - to buy, take advantage of pump and sell. Btc trading just needs a liitle timing and confidence.

No one can accurately predict what happens next but I think it's better for you to buy now to cut your loss because in my opinion,  chances of dropping in btc's price will become very rare now. And if ever there's a drop will happen, I guess that will not be very big as what you are expecting and btc will recover soon.

Bitcoin price will fall again soon but not going to the low price what people think. I think bitcoin fall again but its price should going up again soon . In future bitcoin price will touch the line of 20,000$. But it can't down to 1000$.  Bitcoin is a crypto currency which is always increasing .

I think so.Bitcoin will fall again soon.Bitcoin is very expensive. It's price is high now.In this year,I think there is no possibility to fall its price.But in the next year,it will fall again probably. Because, it had happen before. There is no way that it would dump to $9000, the lowest price that it could get is $10000, so if you hold your bitcoin that you have bought on $10,300, then sell it when it gets over $11,000 or $12,000, then you could make a really huge profit in no time, it is all about patient, right now, there is a lot of forks that is happening in bitcoin so we should expect of fluctuations or dip off its price, but it would pump again and get back on its track.

Bitcoin is still rising , growing , we don't know where it will decrease , we just predicted somehow. Bitcoin worth or the value itself right know is almost 11k dollars , so probably it may , fall , but it may rise up. Still Bitcoin is a decentrelized coin , the ups and downs of bitcoin. We all have different perspective and , different prediction I think , but who knows what will be , who knows what's next , bitcoin surprising us.

Well, whenever there is a bitcoin price boom most of the times market correction follow along.
But if you look at the recent bitcoin price growth chart you will see the corrections are no longer harming the bitcoin value a lot.

I had read on a thread posted yesterday that there would be a correction that would took place on blockchain soon and it might pull bitcoin price to drop but no worries as always it would still recover and make another leap.

Bitcoin will not fall again because it will continue to rise up and sooner than later we can see a higher price in bitcoin and i think that the fall or price dump for bitcoin will not happen this month because i think that the price is focused on pumping to attract more people in the next year to get into bitcoin.

No one really knows but its possible since we do know prices are really unpredictable on bitcoin and regarding on the point you did sell it is somehow early because price did rise up pass 11.5k usd and now it is playing within the range of 11k up.As of writing its price is on 11,340 on preev which is still high and as a trader it would really be risky to buy bitcoin on this heights and would rather wait for a small decrease on its price. Going below 9k range is possible but who knows.Lets just wait for that opportunity to buyback cheaper coins.

Actually there is no impossible. Everything might happen in just a blink of an eye. Maybe tomorrow it can go down $10,000 but also there is a possibility that it continues to goes up until $15,000. Everything can happen but of course it is temporary and will soon goes up. Let's hope for the best.

I'm not sure that's going to happen because a bitcoin price reduction will certainly never happen. Although currently we have seen bitcoin prices are increasing but if there is some negative news then it could be bitcoin prices will decrease. So I do not think too optimistic because it could be the nature that can affect the price of bitcoin. Our current task is to keep trying to use bitcoin every day, because in that way we can make bitcoin growing well.

It won't fall down any time soon. This is actually peak period for the bitcoin and it is actually going to pump itself even further in the next week to come. Im sure about this thing because of two things, one is Christmas coming when people will try to have those emotional attachments for New Years welcoming by investing more money into it. Because they know very well that there is another speculation of BTC = 15,000 USD in the next month end, thats January 2018.

Indeed he was lucky for buying bicoin  in that price.  As of now we cannot assume if bitcoin will fall down.  The only thing that I am sure of is that it will goes up and up until this year ends.  Considering its popularity more and more people are investing with bitcoin which makes its price to increase.

I think it has a big possibility because we all know that bitcoin today rise on its new record of value and yes every time bitcoin record a new set of value it also reach its hardcap and sometimes extremely dump. Nobody knows for sure when will bitcoin's price fall. Everyone wants to have a piece at a discounted price, we are all waiting for the price to go down which happens only when there are FUDs all over and panic selling. when everyone is fearful, be greedy; when everyone is greedy, be fearful. For long term, the best move is to accumulate more bitcoin and do cost averaging strategy.

The fall and pump the significance in the crypto currencies, but the fall in bitcoin is very rare as compare to pumping. At the time I think the value of the bitcoin will rising and there will no fall in the value soon. at the end of 2017 the value of the bitcoin will hit $ 14,000. I feel like he's consolidating quite a bit in the 11K. I don't think he'll make it past 10K on the downside. More than waiting for him to break the 12K

There's no assurance that bitcoin will continue to rise and the history says it all. Although Bitcoin is the most expensive Crypto-Currency but the stability isn't the same with tangible assets like Gems (Diamonds, Gold etc.)
A lot of falling since the beginning and that's the sign of a normal and good business like Crypto-Currency, there is always ups and downs.

It would be difficult to say with certainty whether the price will go down any time sooner. I haven't read any news that might trigger a temporary drop so the market will just have its normal volatile nature. Bitcoin price dump and pump everyday so if Bitcoin price will fall I think it's really normal in this cryptocurrency world. But IMO when Bitcoin price stay stable around a price level in a few days there will be a big pump in Bitcoin price after that and it always the same all the time. I hope this time it'll be like that to make a lot of predictions about Bitcoin price at the end of this year will come true that Bitcoin price will get to 15k$ before the end of this year :))

It is really difficult to speculate bitcoin price because it depends on market demand. It depends if people will dump their bitcoin. It is really good to buy bitcoin cheap and sell it high. I haven't tried to buy bitcoin before, I only get it through campaign, so I don't really care when to convert or when to sell.

Right, bitcoin is really strong today and is still getting stronger. Maybe it will continue to increase but bitcoin is too volatile, there is still a chance that anytime it will fall or will crash. Anyways, the price is too hype to assume that it will fall soon so it will be much better to enjoy it. I think that for those who have the money to invest, it will be good to buy bitcoin now. The price continue to increase and its buying price, even if a dump will happen, is still high. Bitcoin is now currently on its highest price peak but it is still open for dumps but only just a little are applied right now. I think falling down again into a very low price will now be impossible because it will be kinda ironic falling down again that big from a very large pump. I think it is not impossible to happen. Because based on my experience, whenever bitcoin skyrocket in price, it would fall down a little bit temporarily. What bothers me is that i think it would not fall down very low to an expected value. I recommend you to buy more bitcoins because I think it will rise more. Hoping the same,, not a crash but a total decrease of 1000$ ~ 2000$ Is enough sign for me to invest again.. I can’t make a decision of doing at this price,, 11000$ is too high for me having a limited and small amount of money in my position to invest.. I know that there are lots of altcoin to invest with but bitcoin is different and I do believe in it that many altcoin today but I find some promising one and a high potential to increase and be successful then I would gladly be part of it..

Okay some trader here. I really never try this way, but it seems interesting now.
In my opinion, it is hard to bounce back to 9k-ish, not unless something bad to happen or segwit happens. It looks so strong as bitcoin gain more popularity after 10k barrier breaks.
But it is only my opinion, it can be happen too, as the price fluctuate. What you must to do is to make sure that you dont miss the chance to buy at 9k-ish when the price drops

BTC has surely shown some bearish trend but also recovered really very quickly. So I feel that, nothing can be predicted about Crypto-market.

Actually, I did not expect bitcoin to even reach 10k$. So I do not expect it to fall again. It is really unpredictable. But all I can say is that I hope it will go down for you because you are going to trade. It is not suitable for me, but wishing the best for people is good and appreciated, right?

A lot of people are waiting for a pretty good moment when they can buy back at a very cheap value and looking forward to see some crazy things happening to fuel FUD and panic in the market. Guess we just have to see how things end up but for now, I really do not see anything getting us that low.

In my perception, I dont think there will have a fall down before this year end. But a continue increase of bitcoin value . I think it goes up high it $12,500 by the end of the year. But I also think that after thia year the bitcoin price will start to fall down in order to balance this community. Well, if the correction comes, it would be a nice time to fill back in again. We tested a new ATH at around $11800 and we really do not know if that should be some bullish signal or we are still going to have another correction a little bit before then. The movement in the charts so far is the only thing we have at our disposal and without that no one can really make any decision now and we can only speculate and at the end seeing something totally different.

Bitcoin has made its corrections within some days, which means if bitcoin will drop, it will not drop below $10k, cause it has settled on a new price, and gradually increasing.

Of course it is and the volatility level we used to see before is really becoming impossible and making the charts less predictable. Anything can happen at any moment and then we keep seeing bitcoin testing new ATH like every 2 days now without many corrections.

Some are still expecting some huge correction in coming days but I would not really bank on it. If it happens, I guess we will just have to buy more at that point, but for now, we just keep our fingers crossed.

I’m not agree that bitcoin will fall again because bitcoin go very far away from all forks and obstacles and there is no chance that bitcoin will drop and the fact is that there is a very big support to bitcoin by some rich countries and more countries are coming to join bitcoin in some countries bitcoin is started for advertisement by social media which will make bitcoin more strong and powerful so I’m sure that bitcoin will be on the top of all currencies.

I am not sure about that bitcoin will increases or decreases because no one knows what will happened to the BTC really, bitcoin price in unstable means that it can increase or deceases that’s why people hesitate to invest and buy BTC to get profit.

You are better off not trying to outsmart the market, the trend is your friend is a very famous saying among traders why you are trying to go against the trend, there is a very clear indication bitcoin is going to keep going up so I think you need to admit your mistake and buy again before it is too late.

I get confused about to how make money....when you sell some and buy in again how do you work out how much money you’ve made ? I bought come at 6000 then 8000 then 9000 just adding to my collection but never selling. It confusing me to know how much to sell and what amount to sell does this make sense any help would be appreciated

Anything can happen at any time; therefore it is always good to be ready. Definitely, I cannot say how long the bull is going to keep running at this stage, but there is going to be some corrections.

The only problem now is no one really knows and at this stage, it just keeps increasing and breaking every possible resistance with a huge uncertainty for traders to even know when to sell or not. This is something we are going to keep seeing for a while and I am very sure $15000 before the end of the year is certain.

Right now, bitcoin is already on another bullish run and should test the $20k pretty soon. The funny thing is that people are waiting for Bitcoin to fall in price but it just keeps hissing at everyone, making some pretty little corrections and then continuing with the bull run. I think this is the worst possible time to buy. The bounce from the last drop is reaching it's peak. Meaning first the price will return back to the low around 11000 quickly and THEN itll move lower. When we say fall we want bitcoin to decrease it's price so that we can take the advantage of buying it at lower price. Yes, because bitcoin is depeding it’s price into all traders/holders that have bitcoin, which is if they sell market falls down but if they hold market goes up. Just a vice versa

First of all bitcoin never drop and if it will drop so is there have any proof that bitcoin will drop because bitcoin is very string than ever and I don’t think so bitcoin will drop because bitcoin is now very strong and stable in market with high price and there is no chance of bitcoin that will drop its price its price will go more high because it’s in to be legal in many countries and also some more countries are going to join bitcoin.

It seems to me that you invested what you cannot afford to loose and that is why you sell out of panic. Most panic sellers invested the amount of they cannot afford to loose and at the end they end up loosing because they already have such perception of loosing. So, it is better to invest what you can part with or you end up loosing more of your money.
Expecting bitcoin to fall is a sign that you have not in bitcoin. If you make an investment just give yourself a profit target and if the market value of bitcoin reach that point just sell and don't be greedy and face the other side of the market trend.   

The concept of saying that bitcoin is crashing or falling is something that they want or thinking that bitcoin will not recover that quick. They used to see bitcoin moving quickly upwards and they are not willing of accepting it when it drops. We have to make it and see bitcoin that it's taking time to recover when correction happened.

Precisley, that is why bitcoin is unpredictable because anytime there's a chance for it to grow and there's also a chance for it to fall. However, based on what bitcoin have now  I don't think that it will back at $10,000 because as we experience bitcoin is now nearly becoming enormous so if there's a chance for it to fall then I think it is not big. I would wait until Bitcoin stays at a certain price level for a couple of days. It could mean that a support has been established and is relatively 'safer' to buy than when free-falling.

as long as there a real factor that could leading bitcoin price keep moving up , then why not? for example an exchange like bittrex , binance and bitfinex say no to new users because of the security reason as they have received a lot of request to create new account to trade.

As far as I am concerned now, Christmas shopping is over and anyone who decided not to take the chance at the dip to load up more will only see their hearts being shattered when bitcoin starts a new bull run for the year. It could, it may not and no one knows but the present stage we are now is one to really watch out for because that would determine the next value we are going.

Everyone has been given a chance to do Christmas and new year shopping to hold some bitcoin at a very good value and unless the market is nice enough to still come back lower again, some people will wish later on in the future that they wished they had gotten some bitcoin for just this present value and that is the reason we have seen a lot of people who have been wishing for months now that bitcoin would get to $30000.

I have seen predictions saying BTC can go to $11.000-$10.000 with this recent drop, but it also can give BTC more power to reach $15.000 again. The two scenarios are possible, we are on a crossroad now. ETH is getting stronger and Bitcoin Cash too while all other Crypto-Currencies lose price side by side with Bitcoin. I think if it continue happening for a long time it's not a good signal for Bitcoin, but with some effort it's possible to reverse the scenario.

I think not fall but It will become normal because bitcoin is not that kind of currency which will fall everyone knows that bitcoin price was very high last year and still its price is high so there are a lot of investors who want to buy bitcoin and you can  only buy bitcoin when its price go low so they are waiting for this moment because if they will buy bitcoin will low price so then they will keep it on hold and when its price go high then they will sell again.

I thought the dip from $19000 to what it is today was the big correction people waited for ??? Now that price has stabilized I am not expecting another fall anytime soon, next reaction is another bubble or even a bull run that will take us to its next all time high.

This might be a correction of price, and the same seems to be a momentum gain for a next price pumping to reach a value higher than the achieved ath. So, price falls were not that a big issue, when the upcoming price pumping is taken into consideration.

Well it has been going down for a while now, and i do not know why it is really happening, but it seems that every two days there is a new FUD on the market, that is why the price is going down harder than before.
It will go up in a few weeks, or even days, no one knows that.

It seems that bitcoin is going to remain more or less in the same levels, I do not think that bitcoin is going to go lower than 10k ever again, this is good and bad, it is good because that means we got great profits out of our holdings but it is bad since it is impossible to buy bitcoin at reasonable prices.

I can't blame people to get panic on this current situation since I'm sure they are been worried to lose more for the drop keeps occuring that's why we can see them up dumping eventhough they lose some money for their panic selling.
