It is normal to have huge correction on almost all alts during bitcoin surge like right now, it is actually best time to buy some alts with your bitcoin and if you are holding lots of alts at that time just hold them without being panic.

Never sell during dump and never buy during pump, simple rule for crypto trading.

It's actually normal, funny enough if bitcoin falls altcoins follow, if bitcoin increases, well altcoins still fall. I think because of this current trend people are dumping their altcoins to switch back to bitcoin and hold. A lot of us expected a huge correction that could pull btc back below 10k, but it didn't happen, so now even more people are leaning on btc and not on altcoins.

I think nobody wants to miss out on this great gain in BTC, you can remember that the rally started around $6k and now heading for $20k, who in the world will want to miss out on this kind of gain even ICOs have felt it

If you are holding your bitcoins then you are at a right place as now price is expected to go even higher in coming weeks so better to hold your bitcoins and sell it when you are satisfied with the price as correction is expected once people start dumping their coins so make sure that you sell at the right time.

the altcoin history is exactly the same as what you are seeing today here with the falls. they get pumped, rise for a little while and then they continue falling, declining and getting dumped until they either die or reach the bottom to get ready for another smaller version of their previous pump.
this is one of the main reasons why nobody sees altcoins as proper long term investments. because they only rise (get pumped) for a short time and the rest of the year they are on the dumping spree.

Be patient guys. It is normal situation, sometimes many coins falls. We must wait until many times and believe that it will rising again. Don't panic :)

it is because with all the issues that bitcoin has, it is still the king. and investors know this and see this. sometimes we are fooled by the advertisement of these random altcoins saying they are better than bitcoin but when reality hits we can see they are even worse.

Waiting is the safest option.

The riskier and more profitable option is sell alts and buy bitcoin as soon as bitcoin rises. Then when the bitcoin rise loses momentum, buy alts back. But this is easier said than done.

If you're in the middle of your altcoins and all of them are bleeding do nothing with it but if you are willing to cut your losses then just sell it and transfer all of your funds to bitcoin. Everyone is rising the increase of bitcoin and this makes the whole altcoin market bleeding right now. If I'm on your shoes and that is my situation, I'll take the risk of selling it and just put everything to bitcoin. But it's up to you, since you own it.

Here you are right, that is easier said than done. I did not get a hand to buy bitcoin for 10 000. Since I considered this price too high. Now I see 15 000. And I understand that I was wrong, and I needed to buy 10 000 $. I also can not buy 15 000, because this is generally the moon. But it may turn out that bitcoin will grow to 20,000. Yeah I've been hesitating buying bitcoin since last time I bought at $1800 and even at that time I remember I thought this is risky buisness buying at this high price. The bitcoin request is too high and I do not understand if this will continue,.Is it possible because many ico projects are using and allowing payments with bitcoins ..I see a project that gets 300 bitcoin, a pretty big value in my opinion and the ico is still running.

If you hold Alts, just hodl, your USD figure is probably around the same now as it was before the rise.

Bitcoin usually drains the life out of most alts when it's pushing for new all time highs, nothing new to see here... If you're holding any alt coins, dont panic and just keep holding because this will pass, and money will eventually find its way back to the smaller coins as it always does.

In case you missed the ride on btc, be careful not to fomo in near the top! Just wait til everything settles down.

Totally normal situation we have here, Bitcoin speculation is going through the roof right now. As a result, enormous amounts of capital are being pushed into BTC because of classic FOMO scheme. Consequently, capital is being also moved from Altcoins to Bitcoin. Nobody should be worried as we have seen it multiple times before.

Capital will return to Altcoins eventually and they will rise above current levels as well.

From all of the above, it is not very clear what to do in this case! Buy bitcoin or keep in other coins? Can advise than it will be bought, now I think it's time to buy when the course is at the bottom!

Not everything. Bitcoin price went up, and as I can see altcoins value remained the same or went up(in dollars). Bitcoin to altcoin pairs went down, altcoins can fall only if bitcoin price crash.

I believe that a lot of new people are entering the crypto(bitcoin)world because of FOMO and short-term profit. This massive influx of money pushes bitcoins price faster than I believe it should.
I wonder when the mood changes. Maybe it will last a while.

Best time to buy altcoins with your Bitcoins!! However, I don't really know if it's good time to buy altcoins with your non-crypto money, since you can buy them with BTC and it's  going to the moon at the moment ???

My concern is still the big crash and correction that is coming. Bitcoin going up this fast will cause issues. Problem is its out alts that get hurt the most. Even if it just went up this is bad for alts since noone will invest properly and are just chasing bitcoin money. Really hope we all don't lose because of this.

Recently, bitcoin pleases me and I hope to continue also, so I will hold it for myself while I wait for a certain price threshold and be sensitive
