And yes, I think it's possible with all new fiat institutions entering the bitcoin world. Like CMS and NASDAQ and their bitcoin contracts.

Going by the per cent gains we have seen in 2017, $100K is certainly possible in 2018.
Millions of new investors including funds and institutions are joining in so sky is the limit!

Title says $10k for your information. 10k is probably more likely than 100k but I wouldn't say by much. The way bitcoin is growing I think we could see $100k quite comfortably within 2018. Followed probably by a huge crash  :o

We need to be realistic and that price is not possible to achieve in 1 year time span but surely there are higher chances that we may see the price of $50k by the end of next year but $100k is too high to expect from bitcoins.

Actulaly we surpassed the price of 10,000 usd and now the price is around 16,000usd. Probably price of bitcoin soon will materiralize and people engaging  bitcoin will be rich.

If current trends hold up then this could happen even after a major correction. I wouldn't count on it though, that would be a 100x return in just two years.

Are you serious? The price is almost touching twenty k's at the moment, and you are saying that 100k's is not realistic?


And 50k's is just a x3 of the actual price, a little bit less, it can easily be achieved during the next year, we all know that.
We are going to face to a big correction in a few days or weeks, but the price will keep going up like it has always been doing since i have concience.

Just remember all those times that it crashed during this year, dips of about 40 - 50 percent, and we have already passed those marks.

I agree, as this year bitcoin managed to go from $1k to $16k and it is still not the end.This was a frigging 16x growth, which is extremely huge. To go up to $100k btc needs to grow a bit more than 6x within the whole year. I guess that should mean that even though it looks absolutely impossible to me it might actually be the case that we'll see bitcoin $100k this summer. I hope that doesn't happen, though, for this kind of money is really huge and it increases the risk of btc crashing like a bubble, as people probably don't believe in it as much as the numbers in the price say. I would be very careful with bitcoin on that.

If bitcoin goes to correction, then maybe we'll see 10,000 dollars for a coin. But it seems to me that in 2018 we will not see such a price. But we will definitely see 100 000 dollars for bitcoin

When it comes to Bitcoin, we can say that every price is possible. During the day 6666 Satoshi was equal to 1 dollar. This is awesome. Bitcoin will continue to amaze us.

I think we'll be all surprised at how things will go for bitcoin.

Bitcoin is much higher than $10,000. Coins are traded every so often and the amount of Bitcoins are increasing in the trading exchanges. The price is going to be really expensive very soon.

Of course anything in this life is possible and reaching 100k in 2018 is probable if not it will be imminent in 2019 for sure. I myself don't think it will reach 100k but I am no pundit or expert on the matter. Instead I am aiming for a 75-80k range to end off next year and would be ecstatic with that no doubt.

For me it's possible. I didn't see potential that BTC reaches 10k USD this year and now BTC is in 16k USD :D All is possible.

Even we consider to like that before investing into Bitcoin, I never it will reach to 10k$ but it already 18k$ at one time. It has created a history in the Global market and moving forward to another milestone and by the next year ending it will touch the barrier of 25k$ soon.

Based on this article it is very possible and one has to keep the bitcoin he or she hard in other to be part of this financial revolutions. I think bitcoin may not go to  $100,000 but will be above  $50,000 before reading this article. I had that many adoptions is coming up in days to come and this is going to push bitcoin price forward and if this happens we may see significant upwards price movement that lead bitcoin to $25,000 by the first quarter of the year and $40,000 by the second quarter and $75,000 by the third quarter and finally around  $100,000 by the last quarter, which may be some were around this time next year.

That would be awesome If that happens. I'm a little bit sad now as I am not able to add more BTC to my portfolio but I'll work my way somehow and top up my investment for this coin. With all that is happening this week in BTC's movement, I have high expectation that it will really hit that mark if not on 2018 then maybe later.

I will not say that this is impossible. More than 30 trillion dollars now lie in banks and people don't know what to do with them. And there is such a good investment. Now we wait for the launch of the futures will bring. And then make conclusions. But I think just above 50 thousand will cost in 2018. Although Saxo Bank has predicted the fall of bitcoin to 1000 dollars in 2019. After he in 2018 will cost 60 thousand

no i wont think bitcoin can reach that fast in just a year, because it is too much than expectations, investors surely dont want to reach that fast because it it not safe and have high percentage to be dumped in the future.

I think this will depend on one thing: Whether or not bitcoin can solve its scaling issues. If it does, 100k will be attained, if it doesn't.. btc risks falling into irrelevancy. 2018 will be a big year for bitcoin, one way or the other.

Definitely, a lot of people are now believing on bitcoin and most of them wanted to hold more bitcoin so we can expect higher price value of bitcoin is 2018. I am speculating that $100,000 value per bitcoin is possible in the coming decades but the guy on the article says it can reach hundreds of thousands. Well, everybody has its own opinion towards bitcoin's price in the future but only time can tell what really lies ahead.

No it is not, bitcoin won't hit 100.000 in one year cause this would just break lots of currency and even could just break crypto market.

When in this year starting bitcoin reached 1000 price that time also no one believed that bitcoin will pass 10k price in 2017 but you can see that not only breached 10k price but now it is trading at 17k range so i think it wont be surprised to see bitcoin price going above 100k also in 2018 as their are so many good news to come. The most important is that it is going to be listed in futures trading which will make more volatile in the price of bitcoin.

It is possible but that speculation depends on weather the network can handle the increased flow with major issue in time and price. As this goes mainstream those things will definitely need more efficiency. It also will have a lot to do with fear in the market now the wall street has stepped in.

I just read the article. I am really stunned. The experts says become true at times. Unbelievable situation it would be when we see the price reach $100K. Where bitcoin is headed towards? This news boosts many investors. I wish to buy some bitcoin and hold them now. As said in the article, the banking system would get crashed if bitcoin hits $100000.

What kind of question is this? Of course bitcoin can hit $100K but the question is when. You have to understand where Tony Vays, he is a huge investor of bitcoin, so it only make sense for him to create speculation that his investment will grow to millions or even billions in short span of time. So anything is possible in 2018, and if we are going to based on the current price, its really possible, its like x7 or x8 of the current price. Remember that bitcoin started this year at $700 and see what the current price is.


CME and CBOE has started it, and Nasdaq in Q2 2018. If this trend will really continue as what predicted by most analyst, $100K is really achievable. Let's see how it goes though, its too early to call and we don't want to be excited just by reading the news. A lot can happen. The prediction can go either way. What matter is how will you deal with it, so it anyone of you believed in this predictions then its better to hold starting today.

Btc had a huge 2017 because many people heared about crypto and when you go to coinbase you find yourself buying BTC...

But with BTC at 15.000$, many of this new adopter that simply want to buy like 100$ or so in crypto.. find themself paying from 10$ to 20$ in fees..... many of them will also get into ALTS... into ICO... into other ways to pay all that without touching the obsolete BTC (usdt, etc)

I dont think we'll see bitcoin hit $100k within a year. But I do believe we may see it reach $50k. Either way, it'll be an up and down roller coaster ride to get there.

it's possible but unlikely in 2018. maybe in the next pump we can reach that level. i think this bull run will finish before even 25k. trying to guess the top is always hard but this time it's harder. nobody expected this level of rise from bitcoin. even the most bullish ones are surprised now.

Mass adoption is coming and I think prediction of 100,000 is highly possible. But we don't know what will happen in the future just relax and wait.

Of course, why not? If you look at the recent bitcoin price growth of 2017, bitcoin gained about 1,900% increase in price.
So, if bitcoin can continue with that speed it will definitely go above $100,000 maybe $200,000 or more.

No it is not. bitcoin won't reach that price. It's too high for only one bitcoin and would not be likely to occur. Maybe you're just daydreaming about the price of the bitcoin it.

It is not imposible for bitcoin to reach $100000 because we see its value to pump very fast. The first time i saw bitcoins value is at around $2500 but now its value is around $15k to 16k.

Look at bitcoin chart, i see a clear ways to hit 20000$ in this week. So the target 100000$ will be reach soon in 2018, may be in June 2018. Bitcoin become more popular in the world so that target might not so hard to be reach.

I believe that Bitcoin can reach $100k, but not in the timeframe of one year. A value of $50000 is what I think is doable.

For now, the great response to futures gives hope. The entrance of bitcoin into real finance will bring more stability to the system, which is good. I guess 100k for 2018 is a bit too much, but we know, never say never with BTC. I'd be happy to see the 30k next year!

When we are talking about bitcoin anything is possible. We saw and we lived that. Bitcoin got beyond expectations recently and i don't see a reason why it would not do it again. $100000 may seem unrealistic but it is not after we see what happend in 2017.

It depends on the demand and since bitcoin is already known worldwide, I think it is possible. But I set myself to target lesser than the amount expected so I won't be discouraged in the end. So most likely by the end of 2018, I feel like it'll be around $50,000 - $75,000.

I don't think that bitcoin will reach $100000 this 2018.  It is very unstable although it has been accepted in a wide range of network.  The rapid change or growth that it has today can go down too if it could not protect itself from unrecognized transactions that could harm the bitcoin fungibility .  The history of the past has a lesson too.  There are always a possibility for its demeanor while other crypt  are getting a stronghold to be recognize as a digital exchange in the banking institution.

Well, if you think about how we all felt about a $10,000 Bitcoin by end of 2017, we'd remember how unlikely that looked. And yet here we are at over x15 price growth. So, I don't know how to feel about a $100,000 Bitcoin by end of 2018, as it will "only" be a x8 growth. Possible? Yes of course. Likely? Unfortunately I have to say no. But I won't be too upset if I'm proven wrong!

Scaling issue, by the way, is not a problem. Somehow, I think all this congestion and raising fees have shown how much in demand Bitcoin is, and somehow even is partially responsible for the price coming up so high.

Its possible. The average daily growth over the last 8 years has been 0.52%. That will probably slow down but if it stays positive, the price will easily reach that number.

If considering from present price its 6 times it has to multiply to reach that $100000 in 1 year of time. Practically can it rise with the base of 16k to 100k in 1 year time. For me its not possible unless the whole world come together and make it a global tender. Infact on other side the countries may ban this and as a result the drop may come in place.

Just wait for ETFs and Bitcoin will hit 25-30K instant. Also the costs to generate one Bitcoin will be 300.000$+/per Bitcoin in 2022. Bitcoin needs to raise a lot to be profitable to mine or it will die in 2022.

The title make people confuse i think he want to say is 10000$ and not 100000$, at the current value bitcoin it already reach the prediction of 10000$ now i see some users says that before this year end value will reach 20000$ but it seems not happen because the value are now slowly going down but i believed that bitcoin value will remain profitable and we are expecting more in 2018.

Yeah right and it seems that bitcoin value is continue fall down before end of this year, in my sight bitcoin price not touched $20,000 also I think it impossible to achieve the $100,000 value of bitcoin in 2018 because that price was too much expensive and it seem the value of coin are decreasing trends. Hopefully that my thinking was not happen because I want to increase the value of bitcoin in the future.

However, I still believe that bitcoin value will raising up in the future and still looking forward for the good price of all crypto currency in the coming years.
