With the unstable increase and decrease in bitcoin is it a good idea buying, selling or holding now? Like yesterday I saw it hit $19,000 on coinbase but today it stands at $16,000

It's your own decison and responsibility whether to buy hold or sell Bitcoin now. The rise we saw the last weeks is tremendous and if I would hold some Bitcoin I would probably sell now, wait for the next correction/crash and then buy again. But noone knows when the correction will come. This is the hard part of this game.

If you are a long term holder, no need to worry about BTC's price going up and down. Just two years ago its price is about $800 per BTC but look at it now as after two years it multiplied by 10 and even more than that since it reached about $19000 per BTC earlier! I'm telling myself nowadays if only I've seriously considered Bitcoin and bought atleast 1 BTC that time, I could probably have my own house now. So if you are hesitating on investing, I suggest that you don't.

Agree.

Bitcoin price (https://coincodex.com/crypto/bitcoin/) went up over 20x last year. If you plan on holding for a year you shouldn't worry about it and just buy.

I think the dusts have settled for now it has stabilized at near about $15k+ . You can buy sell or hold it now I dont think there will be any correction any time soon becuase the market cap has increased considerably too.

Right now its better to not sell any of your bitcoin as price can easily go above $20k before end of this year because of high expectation on bitcoin futures. However as bitcoin future will not pour money into bitcoin directly those expectation might not be reached and people might start to dump again.

Wait for that dump/correction and make your entry. Buy when others will sell out of panic....

No one can predict the market and make that decision for you. If you believe in the technology as i do, i recommend you keep buying, doing the ''dollar cost averaging'' that many people talk about here on this forum. If you believe the coin has a much bitter untapped potential, then it wont matter if you bought at 15 or 16k in the long run.

From yesterday, bitcoin has a little adjustment, I thought it might be a buying opportunity, if you intend to invest in bitcoin short-term profit, so now you can buy, if you are a long-term investment bitcoin, it is recommended that time to buy, so you'll never buy at the highest point, is not can buy at the lowest

I’m concerned that institutional investors that would have purchased bitcoin for its potential gains will now just head to the futures market. Cleaner, cheaper, safer and more regulated.

I think it's flexible, depending on the condition and individual of each person. for many bitcoin owners I think it's better to hold, because bitcoin prices will keep going up, and for those who want to buy bitcoin, I do not think right now. wait for the right time when the bitcoin price goes down.
keep observing the bitcoin fluctuations, do not miss the opportunity.

If you bought bitcoin at cheaper price, and if you have any reason to dump it with the current price, then you don't have to ask questions. Make up your mind and sell it. Bitcoin now is not for short term investment, not for now. You should be it in for the long haul. What you saw yesterday might be people just want to cash it out and gain profits. But as I have said its better for long term investment. Just hold on it. The price might shot up once we inch closer to the CBOE on December 10. The sentiments of people are very positive and remains bullish. The price is above $15,000 which still high to buy. So take out the buying, its steep to me at least. So my only advise is just hold and observed how the price will moved on Dec 10-18.

I don't think that bitcoin future will affect the price significantly,  although it will, the affect should still happen now. But what I see, is a signal for correction and it might be just started. The bitcoin volume seems to decrease , and it means that the bid is bigger than ask. I suggest you prepare for this dump and be ready for next bull. Maybe we'll see $ 20k in the next few weeks.

No not at all it isnt good to trade bitcoin on daily basis but the right way is to just spend a whole some amount and relax. Try to invest for a long term and create value in bitcoin. This way you won't be much affected by the daily increases and decreases..

It would be better if you take this decision yourself. Bitcoin has made a small step down and it is difficult to predict if it starts running up further or fall.  However, it is more likely that it will gain – millions support it!

It is very difficult for every person to make such a decision. Some hold in the hope of a high price, others sell to buy alternatives or other coins. So everyone has his own opinion and action, but the price simply amazes consciousness.

Its normal because most of bitcoin users are speculative trader. This one of factors which influence bitcoin's price. Its not pure negative of bitcoin, the volatility attracts more trader to buy bitcoin, its make the demand higher then the price increase.

Depending on the situation of the wallet condition, if your wallet condition is stable, keep it, but if it is unstable look at the gap to sell and buy at a cheap price, if in doubt think your wallet is stable.

Currently, I replay your post, based on my coinbase chart, the range of $ 16,400.00 - $ 16,700.00 stable bitcoin prices today, better keep it until the end of the year, waiting for the results of fork out.

I suggest holding it for a little bit more time, because bitcoin's price would be so high before this year's end, that is for sure, but if you needed the money then convert it already, there is nothing bad doing that, it is just you could lose the profits that you could have if you are going to hold it until the year ends. It is all about patients to have huge profits on holding your bitcoin.

yes its a perfect time for buying and selling like you said its price is unstabled when it is in the lower price its good to buying and when it is in the higher price it also a good for selling so in my opinion its the perfect timing to buy and sell.

Bitcoin's volatility will be constant, meaning the price increase and decrease will persist. This said, the decision of whether to buy, hold, or sell is totally in your hands. My guiding principle would always be to buy low and sell high; so if you've noticed that the price dropped from $19,000 to $16,000, I would have propably bought at $16,000. Or wait even more for a drop and then buy.

This was always going to happen sooner or later, if people were not ready and didn't bought then it's a mistake, I was shooting out to people to buy it, when it again touched 13k, I specifically told them it would rise again as soon the future would launch, and so it did. Now it'll only start rising up cause there is a a crazy amount of money from the corporate world coming in, so my advice hold and buy on every dip.

Yes i agree with you. It's a good move selling bitcoin then buy again after the correction of the price because you will be able to buy more bitcoins with the money you have. However, there's no assurance if bitcoins price is experiencing correction or its experiencing effect on the behavior of the investors in the market.

Its not about the unstable increase or decrease of bitcoin but its about how hard people are going to hold up this price of the bitcoin by keeping their investment or by adding up more money into it. :-)

The prices are fluctuating is not limited today but it is happening since very long time and I'm sure that what we see today will happen tomorrow also. There is no point in playing low when it comes to bitcoin. If we know 100% that bitcoin is having unidirectional movement dominance over the downward direction then there is no fear of loosing hopes. We should just choose to hold as well as invest more if we have that much potential. :-)

The price on each market depends on the relationship between supply and demand.
So, any price in the market isn't unreasonable.
You can call people unreasonable because they are willing to offer so much for bitcoin but it's completely different story.
Wise investors know when is right time to buy and when is right time to sell.
So, just enjoy the ride and stay as long as you feel comfortable and safe here :)

If you are going to buy today, take note of the risk that you are taking in buying bitcoin. It's not like a one time big time millionaire when you bought it, you have to understand that when you bought at dip, example of $14,000 and then later on it goes dipper at $13,000 so you lost $1,000 but don't take that something discouraging cos' later it will increase. This is why it was called volatile, bitcoin is volatile so when you buy at the peak, possible it can go further or vice versa.

It is a good idea but same time it is not easy to handle it like in a day you can earn $1000 for 1 bitcoin buy and sell, but you should concentrate on bitcoin all 24 hours then you can earn it. I agree on it because every new day bitcoin has changed price and the difference is nearly $1000. So it is a big chance to earn profit in a day.

true, but you should always try and analyze the situation to understand why some fall happened.
the reason for a fall is as important as the reason for the rise. as you said bitcoin is increasing in the "long term". all the drops so far have been correction of the market. even the biggest one that happened after 2013 was a big correction because of a big bubble.
the latest drop was also a bubble bursting and it is now gone. but it was a small one so the correction was also small.

Well, if you want to start investing, you might want to buy now before bitcoin increases or doubled its price or bitcoin might also continue dumping, i don't know, just monitor bitcoin's price and then decide to buy it or not.

No not at all it isnt good to trade bitcoin on daily basis but the right way is to just spend a whole some amount and relax. Try to invest for a long term and create value in bitcoin. This way you won't be much affected by the daily increases and decreases..
It's price is very high and it will go more high because it use is going more high and next year some more countries are going to join bitcoin its price is related with users because when traders and investors will increased so there is no doubt that its price will increase automatically and in market there is only currency with taking lead than any other crypto so bitcoin is the best and it’s a life changing currency in market.

I think this is the good time to hold your Bitcoin. It is expected to increase more.
Hold bitcoin if the price is decrease or drop down. If you think the price is getting up in the market it is your chance to gain in high profit. Bitcoin value is not stable for there price because everyday increasing there value.

Hi there dotcomwriter! As of this post the bitcoin is very very near at its 20k mark at cexio exchange, however, it is in its over bought status which for some trader it signals a bullish market and could trigger a buy signal. However, to others it could be a hold because at some point it could raise up much higher than 20k. While for me, its a buy because I just got some couple of bucks from a day job so this salary could be worth saving in bitcoin than bank with small interest rate. To some, it could be a sell, because this is right moment before it go down due to the up coming CME announcement, like for example what just happen in the previous CBOE.   ;)

This is just the beginning people. Unfortunately, I have missed the ride initially, but I am happy that I got involved with bitcoin and the crypto world a few years back without any further delay. Bitcoin is an unstoppable force and the people who don't believe this are simply living in denial even after witnessing its growth through the year of 2017. I believe 2018 will be an even bigger year than 2017 for bitcoin and the crypto world which is why I am HODLING.

I think it's the right time to hold and invest a bitcoin because it has been gradually rising and it's reaches to $ 18900 and I'm sure to increase it might have reached $ 20,000 before the end of the december and if you have a bitcoin you hold it first and you try to invest.

No one can ever tell anyone what to do at this stage. If you feel it is a bad idea to buy at this stage, then that is your call. At least when bitcoin keeps going on an doing well, I am sure you would not blame anyone that they or the price stopped you from buying. I see this price going past even 20k and no one knows what would happen after then. So, the best bet, if you do not want to end up missing out like those who were waiting for a dip even when the value was $5k, then do the needful.

In my opinion, it depends on your goal and strategy on your investments. But I suggest, you better go for long term investment because as you can notice the trend of price is bullish from early this year up to this day. It will never too late to invest in fact I have read the news that the price will still keep on rising until next year of February, 2018. Still, we cannot predict the future of what will happen. Don't be discourage if the price will go down because that's normal. Bitcoin is too big to fail so you better to take a risk and invest today. Also, I suggest, you need to read the news about Bitcoin and other crypto so that you can make plans about it.

Because the game is based on demand and supply therefore it's price increasing next target of bitcoin is 40,000USD in 2018 so let's wait for 2018.

I think it is not a good decision to depend on the advice of others to respond to matters that only concern you, because it is your money that is at risk in each of your decisions. That is why every trader with a certain level of experience always recommends to set a strict plan in this regard and always stick to it. If you invested a certain amount looking for a certain return, you could make a partial withdrawal once your goal has been achieved.

If at the time you wrote this article, you invested in Bitcoin, now you have earned a lot of money from it. If you study the market cryptocurrency will see the Bitcoin increase or decrease in a certain period, but often the rate of increase is very high but decreased only slightly reduced. According to my experience, when the BTC suddenly drops as you wrote, I will always buy BTC for holding and wait for the BTC to increase the price to make a profit. At present, the price of BTC has reached the threshold of 19,000 dollars, promising to exceed $ 20,000 by the end of the year.  8)

let just say it is a good time to trade bitcoin rightnow because it is still rising up and down so quickly, that makes experienced investors have higher profit from trading, but in contrast, this fluctuation makes long term investors worry about bitcoin  future so they can not decide whether to sell or hold, a safe way is to sell when we reach our goal, dont be too greedy and buy only we see its price is low.

Buy and hold Bitcoin. In the long run, its price is always rising. Because Bitcoin buyers are getting bigger every day.

It's risky to Buy bitcoins certainly nowadys. If you are determined to buy, then I suggest you to buy at its lowest price within a certain week. I know it's hard to know when will be the time to purchase but you can do it through observation. Have a one week observation and mark the lowest price it hits then buy when it reaches or closest it on the following week.

The price fluctuation is what is called the market correction. Sometimes, the price of bitcoin gets high and sometimes gets low that is the nature of the market. I don't think that is a problem because everytime the price of bitcoin fall it will surely get back to where it was and set another price making profit for the investors.

In my opinion, its not good to buy bitcoin these days. The price is so high today, plus the fluctuation rate is so high as well. It can increase $3k in less than 24hrs. and it can decrease as well. Whats good today is to sell it and buy several altcoins, there are numbers for increasing altcoins in terms of value today. There are speculations that bitcoin may undergo price correction on January. By the way bitcoin is at $19,800 already just hold on a little bit we're heading full speed to $20k.

there are quite a few factors right now playing.

every coins basically made x10 for the last 30 days. its a whole market all time high.

its christmas and new year time.

pretty sure the hype hysteria can bring the price even higher, we can't underestimate this, BUT even if it reached 30k$, that would just be a 33% increase.

if u bough in november at 7k that would be x3 ( +200% ).

time to invest was in november or earlier, not now.

i think, no matter how high the price, reach during this winter. it will go down hard during january, february or so.

just wait for the hype to decrease.

its better to achieve a few x4 investment during the year, than going through the hysteria hype and finally loose everything.

at this point of histeria its not investing, its gambling.

Before doing anything, you must check on the price first because it really matters. Buy bitcoin when the price is low, then wait until it rises again.Hold it for several months. Before selling, check on the price again, when its high and you will be able to have a big profit, then you can sell it. But if you want a bigger profit, hold it for a long time before you sell it. Monitor the price, analyze and strategize carefully.

I think is a good idea to study the market fluctuations before investing. Timing is everything, according to many, to make profit from Bitcoin, you need to know when to invest and when to sell the volatile asset to earn profit.
Note that investing in the cryptocurrency requires extra effort, time and other resources that in most cases outweigh the benefits obtained from it. In conclusion, be courageous whether in saving, or investing and start doing business today.

By holding bitcoin and true judgment will lead to more profitable and stable future. Not sell your bitcoin even in forks. Bitcoin show us from 2009 that it is the only king in crypto world. I will called emperor of bitcoin.

Bitcoin has so far shown a slight correction and began to rise again in price. In view of the fact that in the second half of December, early January, seven forks are waiting for us, I would not advise now to sell my bitcoins, since at this time it usually increases significantly in value. It is better to wait a while, it will bring a good profit.

We are all optimistic about it and the opportunity to get a bigger profit can happen. But no one can be sure, Again that anything can happen.

With the unstable increase and decrease in bitcoin is it a good idea buying, selling or holding now? Like yesterday I saw it hit $19,000 on coinbase but today it stands at $16,000

if you see the high price of bitcoin at $19,000, you can sell your bitcoin to reach your profit and wait for another down of the price. and today you see the price is at $16,000, this is a good price to buy bitcoin again and I am sure that you can get big amount than before. I think we can use the chance of volatility of bitcoin to gain a profit and we can increase the amount of bitcoin and not just to increase our fiat.

In 2013, one bitcoin cost $20. In 2017, it costs $20 to send one bitcoin. With record highs, thriving adoption, and media attention, this should be a celebratory time for bitcoin believers.
And yet it’s hard to shake the feeling that something isn’t quite right.
How did we reach a point where the world’s bank killer and Western Union crippler has become incapable of taking on the institutions it once sneered at? Bitcoin is hot as hell right now. But it’s also a mess.

It's price is very high and it will go more high because it use is going more high. I think it's the right time to hold and invest a bitcoin because it has been gradually rising and it's reaches to $ 18900 and I'm sure to increase it might have reached $ 20,000 before the end of the december and if you have a bitcoin you hold it first and you try to invest.
When the first time I heard about bitcoin its value was worth of 11 Dollar and someone offer me bitcoin for only 5 Dollar but I refused to purchase bitcoin from him, I wish I could have bought from him at that time then saw its value increasing and now you know its value. It’s never late because I think bitcoin has to go further and has to cross all the limits of expectation.

Many people ask this sort of question every time; the funny part is that even if they get the same answers, they still keep on asking. I mean, it's your coins, which means that it's also your call depending on what you would best do with it. I think the main consideration here is what's your goal. If you feel that you have the patience to risk holding on to your coins in the hopes that its price would increase, then by all means do it, maybe it would be the best plan because patience always pays off. If you want to cash in now and sell them while the prices are still surging, then no one would say that that's a bad idea because money is still money and profit is still profit.

The first thing you need to decide when going to trade in the bitcoin market is your attitude at the time of investing. Do you want to make money quickly? Do you think that bitcoin is the future and holding it in the long run is the best option? By understanding the time period of your investment, you can find out which trading strategy is more suitable for your needs. If you're someone who thinks bitcoin could be worth millions of dollars someday, then you'll probably stick with long-term trading strategies. If you only intend to profit from the bitcoin price movement, it is perfect if you use short-term trading strategies.

Since bitcoin price is so unpredictable, we need to monitor the rise and dip of its value. Make probable insight on the factors that affect its price, although no one really knows the exact logic on its price. But certainly , there are explainable reason on why bitcoin price shoot up, and fall sometimes from time to time. its a matter of self choice, what you intend to do? buy or sell it depend to your strategy of trading, and your own speculations on short/long term.

Back to few couple of months, bitcoin’s price was not so high, but in current time, a bitcoin price is getting much higher as investors started investing their money in bitcoin. There is no fear of losing your money because the market is much bigger than your expectation.

A big investment can give you more money, so feel free to invest and it’s totally up to you that what you would do with that invested money that will come in profit.

Buying bitcoin is definitely a good long term decision. Just like shares, the prices are bound to change up and down but the best thing with bitcoin is that just two years ago it was at 800 dollars per bitcoin and now its gone up to 19,000 per bitcoin. It doesn't take a genius to know that this price is bound to go up despite the minor fluctuations here and there.

I think this is the good time to hold your Bitcoin. It is expected to increase more.
Hold bitcoin if the price is decrease or drop down. If you think the price is getting up in the market it is your chance to gain in high profit. Bitcoin value is not stable for there price because everyday increasing there value.

There is no way that anyone out of us can predict the market price of bitcoin or any other coin which is there in the crypto currency world. At the time of pump, you need to make a choice between selling your coins or keeping your coins for little longer. However, in case the market price falls, do not get panic. Hold your already having coins and try to buy more number of bitcoins.

Due to impressive, bullish trend for almost two weeks  Bitcoin hit his resistance at 20,000 $ level. It would go down in awhile, but if you are longterm and aim high you and go for HODL, you must monitor the price actions and the news. For me, Bitcoin price now would test his support and it might be hit the level of 15,000, but we never know what  will happen so corrections still on going and waiting for the right time to accumulate again. Calm down and plan for the best approach with a downtrend market. Good luck.

The price fluctuation is what is called the market correction. Sometimes, the price of bitcoin gets high and sometimes gets low that is the nature of the market. I don't think that is a problem because everytime the price of bitcoin fall it will surely get back to where it was and set another price making profit for the investors.
Yeah prices are increasing in faster rate and all this show the investor intent about bitcoin and I believe in one thing that price will never fall now because now users are aware of all the techniques and prices will sooner cross 20k and then the next mile stone will be 25k and as the rate of increase continues then every price will be achievable in future we only have to keep calm and wait till our desired value come and then sell.

Yes, the price usually keeps changing its value that is why no one can predict who it will go. And i agree about what you said that we should keep buying bitcoin and grab this huge opportunity that it can give because at the end it will be all worthy.

Unstable bitcoin prices make it difficult for us to predict so we have to be careful about using this bitcoin. Moreover, if the bitcoin price is getting more and more decreased then we must bear all the risks and consequences. but we also can still take advantage of it

Bitcoin price is very volatile and at that the decision to either sell or hold depends solidly on you as a person. But to me I think is better to hold at this moment because no matter how unstable the price is at this moment bitcoin keep growing more and more, you still stand to gain in bitcoin at any time. If you need to sell then sell but if you don't just hold your assets after all bitcoin is more of an assets then a currency.

In exchange for picking six numbers, entrants – who aren’t limited to the Republic of Ireland – will be entered

The odds of success are slender to say the least, but Lottoland are confident that plenty of bettors will be willing to take their chances.

With the unstability of Bitcoin, your next move may be truly critical as you don't know what tomorrow brings. So before taking an action, maybe think of all the factors that may be affected with the decisions you wish to take. As the prices of Bitcoin decline, the first thing that you should do is not to panic. What you can do is observe and analyze. You have to be very careful at these stages. I guess if you're a true believer of Bitcoin, you would keep hilding on to it despite its corrections. Knowing Bitcoin, it will rise again; you really jusy have to be patient. Seeing Bitcoin prices crash can be overwhelming, but I choose to hold on to it because I believe that it will reach greater heights after this downfall.

Bitcoins prices keep fluctuating so don’t need to worry about it as bitcoin’s prices are really going very high these days and people are making a lot of profit from it by trading and selling their various products online for bitcoins. never buy any speculative asset without having an exit point. it can be a time frame, or a price. but everything that goes up must go down, so at the least have a profit level where you feel compensated getting out at.

bitcoin, despite the enthusiasm, is clearly in a downtrend. buyer beware, and consider not going all in either way (fiat or crypto) as you may need to hedge on extreme price movement. i would suggest tether right now, but LOL. look at nubits as a hedge, or vaultoro.

yes it should hold up to the bitcoin price until it reaches 50% price since you bought it because if you sell bitcoin price at cheap price then you will get very much loss.

No matter you want to buy,  sell,  or hold bitcoin, it will depend on whether you believe in it or not. It doesn't depend on the bitcoin price. If you believe in bitcoin and you have enough courage,  then it's a good idea of investing,  buying, selling,  or holding. But if you are likely afraid of any risks that may happen,  then you'd better not do anything.

I think it will keep rising.. I just read a article which says BTC price will be 1 million dollars.. And the author of the article is Former Facebook exec.

If you want to read you can find it here: https://www.tweaktown.com/news/60162/former-facebook-exec-bitcoin-reach-1-million/index.html
This is another good article. We are now hearing and seeing many news that bitcoin will reach one million dollar. The way bitcoin is rising this time is not so far away. If you want to really get advantage of the situation, then i will suggest you to save and  hold your coins.

Somehow yes, especially when it price dump that was the perfect yme to buy bitcoin and wait for it to pump before you sell it and do it again and again. But its still best to store it than doing that thing if you want to earn money. Bitcoin price was volatile so its normal that it increase and decrease sometimes.

Bitcoin prices continued on Saturday, with the value of the cryptocurrency or digital currency recovering to $14,715 on Bitstamp, a cryptocurrency exchange based in Luxembourg. Bitcoin prices have swung wildly this week. From a record high of $19,666, hit on Sunday, bitcoin prices fell over 36 per cent, losing more than one-third of its value, to hit $11,159.93 on Friday. Despite the sharp fall this week, Bitcoin's price has jumped nearly 13 times this year, leading to some regulators caution the public dealing with the cryptocurrency. At 6:08 pm, Bitcoin was trading at $15,101 on Bitstamp. The bitcoin price hit a high of $15,297 in past 24 hours and dropped to a low of $13,496.
Here are five things to know about Bitcoin vs dollar:

You can lose pretty good amounts as well. If you are expecting the prices to go up, and it stays there for 2-3 months, then you are doomed. The basic issue still remains with Bitcoin. The number of unconfirmed transactions have decreased by a bit, but still remains above the 230,000 mark. Unless it comes down to sun-100,000 levels, we can't be sure about the prices.

Title: Re: Bitcoin prices
Post by: moli1 on December 23, 2017, 04:34:39 PM
Over the past few weeks, people have been complaining about high transaction fees
and slow confirmation times on the bitcoin core network.
Since then other coins like bitcoin cash, dash, and litecoin have seen price spikes
and more people utilizing these blockchains for lesser fees and more reliable settlement times.
Fees for the bitcoin core network according to Earn’s fee statistics show the median transaction size of 226 bytes results in a fee of 223,740 satoshis ($34USD). Bitinfocharts records an average median fee of $41 per transaction.
The aggregated average recorded by Bitcoinfees.info details the average bitcoin fee globally is $37 per transaction.

It should be agreed that the number of unconfirmed transactions constitutes a significant problem and directly affects the price of BTC. On how in the near future will eliminate this problem, in many respects will depend on the price of BTC.

Thats the risk of being involve at bitcoin. The Unstability of price. We couldnt predict it whenever it rises or fall. There a times that we wanted to sell for its good price but we think that there were a big possibility it could still grow. Then suddenly it will fall and we need to wait for a long time so that it will again reach the price we want.

Because it is fluctuating ,there's no assurance that the price of the bitcoin is unstable it is because on the market and how the bitcoin performance is in based on it. We say that it can be in like the law of supply and demand, but ghe price of bitcoin now is really down. Market's volatility makes bitcoins more profitable, if the market will be always stable then there will be no traders that would exist today. The reason for bitcoins to rise its value is because of the consumers that keeps on investing and low amount of miners who sells in the market so do not worry if your coins value is decreasing because that's normal.

BTC price plunged below the $10,000 support level in a correction that analysts are attributing to increased pressure from regulators throughout the world.
BTC was valued at $9,965 on Bitfinex, whose BTC/USD trading pair is the cryptocurrency’s most heavily-traded market.
This represents a single-day decline of about 11% and leaves bitcoin with a market cap of just $172.8 billion.  :-\

the bitcoin price is now a little doubt full, no body can assume about it perfectly. The rate of bitcoin is showing unexpected behavior, therefor people are not making high interest due to which the value is not raising in a rapid rate. Because the invest directly pumps the value of the bitcoin there when the rate of the investment become low the raising of the value also become very slow.

Yes, the difference between the buying and selling price we get as profit. When bitcoin prices fell a few days ago on the issue of legality in China and South Korea we can use to buy some bitcoin. Then we just need to be patient until bitcoin rises again. It's good if we set aside profit to buy bitcoin and make it as a long-term investment.

Then if you are a holder or an investor here at bitcoin, you may have the golden rule that sets as your mindset. And it is to earn or have some profit. We know that the value of bitcoin is volatile. It changes rapidly and unpredictably which means no one will know when it will pump or when it will dump. Just research about the demand curve of bitcoin year by year and you can see that it is just continuously rising. It may be fluctuating but in the end of the day, the value of bitcoin is just increasing.

The BTC rose a lot in 2017, so this braking is normal and even beneficial to prevent a bubble from forming. I believe the BTC will still reach its new ATH in 2018 and the more people entering the crypto market, the better the stability and confidence in this investment. The crypto market is still quite small compared to other traditional markets.

Its not pure negative of bitcoin, the volatility attracts more trader to buy bitcoin, its make the demand higher then the price increase. This one of factors which influence bitcoin's price. The thing with Bitcoin or any Crypto is that it needs more people buying than selling to move the price. There will always be a handful of people that will never sell. Eask hands sell first and they will be out now. There will be a lot more people holding and buying now. Anyone that was going to sell to get out of Crypto for good will have surely gone now.

The unstable movement of Bitcoin is actually one of the reasons why it is good to invest in it either in short term or long term basis. In a short term basis, you have to use the rise and fall of the prices to your advantage. You buy during the price fall and then you may sell during the rise. For a long term target of Bitcoin investment, you may just choose to hold it since the value of Bitcoin is always growing in the larger picture.

Bitcoin price will fluctuate up and down based on supply and demand. High demand will affect price to rise untill certain higher level, commonly called resistance level; and then it may fall down due to profit taking or may be because of fundamental factors. On the contrary, it may fall down to lower level called support level and later it can recover because it is supported by high volume on new buying transactions. That is a normal circle in everyday transaction. Today, bitcoin price started to recover from last week and I predict it will keep going up in the coming months.

The price today is 8239.22 comparing to last year December at 20k. A big price difference but this present price is way better than after its falling price that started last january 2018 it has continually drop after peaking at 20k . Last february it has drop to its lowest price value at 5939k and many people got depressed lost faith in bitcoin and many has sold out this situation has been celebrated by may fiat supporters. And adding to the blow many country has banned bitcoin use and also there were social media blockage. Many thought it was the end of bitcoin. Not until this first week of April it has started to show a positive price increase peaking at 8300k. This has been goinng on for two weeks now and the price continous to stabilized and it is  regaining more popularity in the market place.

If you are investing in bitcoin from many years then you must know that in bitcoin their is no stability. There are random ups and downs in prices. As being virtual in nature sometimes the prices are very high and in split of seconds the prices are very low.Just relax and keep on investing in bitcoin. In coming years it is going to attract many more uses and may be a global currency in coming decades. At this time try to buy new coins if you can afford , don't sell your coins at this time.Try to sell only when the price of bitcoin increases.

It is very difficult for every person to make such a decision. Some hold in the hope of a high price, others sell to buy alternatives or other coins. So everyone has his own opinion and action, but the price simply amazes consciousness.
Different people have different thoughts. You are right that many people sell their bitcoin due to the fear of losing their money, while others are holding or investing in bitcoin because the price is growing again and they hope to make some money from their investment. Everyone take his decision according to his needs. Bitcoin investment is for long term and in the future the price will grow more.

Everyone take his decision according to his needs. Bitcoin investment is for long term and in the future the price will grow more.
and it became a requirement that I still have to compare in Bitcoin and the etherium, it seems to me that their price will be doubled twice. I mean double the price of Bitcoin and double the price of the etherium. Hence the question, in which coin is it better to make an early investment?

today, the price is under $9xxx and the price still going down but I hope that there are not too many people which getting panic because of this. I hope that we can learn together from this experience and in the end, we can stay calm to see the price is only getting down. I think we are in downtrend again this time but I do not see that the altcoin is got the impact of this because the altcoin still going to increase so I think even if bitcoin is down, we could still make a profit from the altcoin.

With the unstable increase and decrease in bitcoin is it a good idea buying, selling or holding now? Like yesterday I saw it hit $19,000 on coinbase but today it stands at $16,000

That’s how bitcoin’s price volatility is taking its effect. You can also experienced it in a reverse way where you can see it at 16,000$ today and see it at 19,000$ tomorrow. Today, bitcoin has pullback again making the crypto markets bleed again.

It is very difficult for every person to make such a decision. Some hold in the hope of a high price, others sell to buy alternatives or other coins. So everyone has his own opinion and action, but the price simply amazes consciousness.

In these days investment is good because the price in increasing and people are making money due to their investment. And one important thing is that one should take some risk if he wants to invest in cryptocurrency. So I think that patience and courage is mandatory for bitcoin investors. Those who hold their bitcoin when the price was $6k have earned $3k against each bitcoin.

Before doing anything, you must check on the price first because it really matters. Buy bitcoin when the price is low, then wait until it rises again.Hold it for several months. Before selling, check on the price again, when its high and you will be able to have a big profit.

We should not discourage people to invest in bitcoin because when more and more people invest in bitcoin the price will grow more and more. The main thing is implementation of bitcoin in all over the world because I want one world and one currency in the coming future. I don’t think about the price.

While every trader takes decisions based on what they think it's best for them, at the same time we need to study the market, if you take the time to look at what happened in bitcoin in the past you will see that crashes are very common and there is not a reason to panic the price is going to pump again and once again it is going to crash, that is just the nature of bitcoin.

If you are a long term holder, no need to worry about BTC's price going up and down. Just two years ago its price is about $800 per BTC but look at it now as after two years it multiplied by 10 and even more than that since it reached about $19000 per BTC earlier! So if you are hesitating on investing, I suggest that you don't.

You have to have the strongest nervous system and the greatest belief in Bitcoin to hodl the cryptocurrency for a very long time. It is very difficult!

i have never predicted when will the price of bitcoin will drop or rise, it is extremely unstable to predict exactly, so i can only use the safe way whenever i want to trade bitcoin, sell when i reach my goal and buy when it drop fast.

All people certainly have no accurate prediction about the price, all we can do is hope that the price keeps going up so we get a profit, hold hold until the end of the year is the thing we deserve to do.

As of now buying more and hold it is important because bitcoin now is $9000 and take too long again reach a highest price again but I believe that bitcoin will reach a new high price again even it's slowly but surely.

Right now, bitcoin is already on its state of recovery and it's starting to rise again. I think it is in it's season now and we have to be glad. Well this time around, bitcoin has earned its popularity all over the world and with that, bitcoin's demand is growing that makes increases it's price.

bitcoin price still up and down in this week and we are now in the weekend so we can expect to see the increase of the price in the next week. we can wait for the price to increase back while we can try to search a profit from the altcoin and I think we can make a lot of money from both bitcoin and altcoin. I am sure that in the long run, bitcoin will increase more and will reach and make the new highest price.

bitcoin has fluctuating properties which means that bitcoin prices can rise and fall suddenly. I think the bitcoin price will not increase any time soon.

Probably the most frequent question of the Internet. Unfortunately, even the greatest experts can not predict how the market will develop traditionally and none of them will have a recipe for the Bitcoin future price.
But they agree in one. For a long time there has not been such a potential tool for a relatively rapid riches! Currently bitcoin is moving downwards. If you own any bitcoins do not sell and hold them.

Bitcoin is unstable, bitcoin may increase and then fall, but bitcoin certainly can to increase again. You must have a prediction of when it is appropriate to enter the market, buy when the price falls and when the price rises higher then you can sell it for profit.

I think this is the best time to buy Bitcoin. After buying Bitcoin then you can invest Bitcoin and hold it for years. I think this is a smart way and will bring good luck to you. I am doing this way.

Bitcoin is very risky and can fall at any time, but in the long term bitcoin is better and can rise higher. And most importantly you should be able to believe in something that will benefit you.

Although the prices of Bitcoin are very flexible, and every day they are changed, it is not difficult to guess that BTC will gain by the end of the year.
