I can't see why you'd think otherwise. You can turn them on and off whenever you want. You could even run them 12 hours a day. With that said, the S9 doesn't have air/dust filters does it? Post by: cableiso on December 11, 2017, 01:53:42 AM I shut down, disassemble and blow any dust out with compressed air. Takes about 8 minutes per device once you get the hang of it. If you do them one at a time, it may take an hour or so but you only lose 14T as you are only working on one at a time

I am into caring for them as much as i can lol It's a LOT easier on the power supply for a miner if you software shut it down BEFORE you turn the switch off. It's probably easier on the mining hardware as well. You may get away with it a LOT of the time, but it's also very hard on the power supply to be shut down while operating at high load.
