what do you think if eth price matches the price of bch? it must be eth can match even exceed bch because eth has been longer in bch appeal, eth first exist in the world crypto.

It will happen, and we all know that, but you are saying that the prices will be equal, but you are wrong at some point.

It will be just happening because bitcoin cash will drop to less than one thousand dollars, so ethereum will be the first competitor of this one.

Who knows, maybe ethereum suddenly goes upto $750 and bitcoin cash gets to there too.

Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum can't really be compared though. They have different features, different algorithms. They are used for different purposes. I don't really understand how you can compare them aside from being in the top 3.

ETH and BCH are god coins but I can't say that ETH's price will be equal to BCH's price. BCH is just released and its price just boomed but ETH is still 500 or below. ETH is a good altcoin in terms of volume because it is having an infinite volume but it has a lower price. Compared to BCH, BCH has an exact volume (I just don't know the exact volume) and its price is increasing in just the couple of weeks so I think ETH can't be equal to BCH.

The two can't be compared because they are different but if you're just talking about the price then there is no doubt that ETH will be on the $1K mark sooner or later. ETH has been my top 2 ever since and I believe BCH price is only a hype now and probably gone later  ;D

I think it will be happen, but for many times Eth is higher than BCH. So, if you invest in eth maybe you will get many profits :)

maybe yes and maybe not, because ethereum and bitcoin cash has the same chance to increase in this year or next year. but I think we have seen that bitcoin price replace ethereum place although it is not too long and the position is back to before. ethereum and bitcoin cash have a big community which gives their support to the coin so the coin can listed in the exchanges.both ethereum and bitcon cash will be stay survive and will solve their problem if they have something wrong to fix.

With the scaling developments, it could grow a bit. Although, the market doesn't seem to care too much about upgrades when picking. Or at least it doesn't look that way to me.

You should mind that ETH has a much larger supply than BCH, too.

eth has the chance for price matches with the price of bitcoin cash but there will be a time before it happens. I think after bitcoin is settled in one range and every altcoin makes new higher price, then eth will also increase too. there are many people waiting for the price of ethereum is increase back to the higher price. and this is the right time to buy some ethereum while we are waiting the moment comes.

Ethereum prices have risen over 5000% this year and if this happens again in 2018 then to surpass BitcoinCash price is an easy thing for Ethereum

I think it might take a while for ETH to reach BCH but... as we've seen the last few days nothing is impossible... prices can fluctuate so much and hundreds/thousands could be gained or lost in an instant!

Yes eth have potential they are implemented the smart contract. Eth will go up to 1000 usd in next two to three months. All the ico's are depending on smart contract. Eth demand always high.

Bch just a fork, just a release. No one interest about it , its up and down so much. Both have different directions and features.

Hey! i  can't understand how it is possible  to make a comparisons between these 2 coins. ETH is the full-fledged coin with the smart-contract technology, there are  so many  ether based tokens! and what is it BCH? nothing. If it disappears one day, nobody will upset. Probably just speculators.

I think eventually ETH will reach 4 digits in the future. We all need to remember that BCH is being pump by very influential individuals that why's the price is going strong and quit stable. As compare to ETH which backing is the ICO, whose offering it at another investment platform. But I'm sure that a lot of companies will find ETH as better alternatives for future developing specially its Dapps and Smart contracts capability. Actually this month alone a lot of companies are partnering with ETH in using their technology, if this is successful then there's no doubt that it will break $1000 next year.

I don't think that eth will catch bch this year. But I am sure that ethereum will surely touch 1000$ with in next year. Let's watch and enjoy it.

BCH is just a caused of a btc fork compared to eth that established in quite long time now. They have many differences and usage. I'm hoping that eth price will rise in 2018 and maybe, maybe its peice would even exceed BCH.

2018 is under speculation as an year for ethereum in particular. Maybe things might change according to the time period and the investor network's operational capabilities. From speculation I believe ethereum will reach the current value of BCH, but the same time expect BCH to grow along with bitcoin.

next year there will be 17 million BCH available but at the same time there will be 120 million ETH. that alone wouldn't let ETH to go higher than 0.05BTC and that is for its hugest pump imaginable.

meanwhile BCH has the Roger Ver pumping group behind it that will take advantage of bitcoin's huge backlog and big fees to pump BCH again and do it soon. and when they do it will be 0.2-0.3BTC again.

Currently speaking, ETH is at $470 and BCH is at $1470.

That's quite a big jump for Ethereum at this point, but nothing is impossible, but probable in the Cryptoworld.

Ethereum can go that high, its only a matter of time. Hopefully we see that in 2018.

We cannot compare BCH and ETH this 2 currency has different potential in the market,but some says that BCH will dump soon if this happen ETH can reach or be equal to BCH price value,nothing is impossible ETH can reach that price value.

well, I don't think so BTC is tried and tested eth will take some years to reach that position it is trading internally not as a currency which bitcoin is known as a currency in some countries it is declared as a currency.

It will be around 1,5k$ next year, Buterin`s plans are great: burning tokens can be useful for network. Also there are lot ICOs, which based on ETH... So... 3k$ by end of 2018 maybe

It always depends on the market. if the market and the adoption is huge, probably but if a new and better blockchain is born or is developed, so a little part of market cap could go on this new blockchain and the situation remains the same as now

Ethereum is steady just under $500, but it would be nice to see it surpass $1000 and reach higher price too.

I definitely think the price of ETH will surpass BCH and come closer to where bitcoin is sitting but not in the near future, we have all heard about the recent Cryptokitties fiasco which bought the ETH network almost to a standstill and this is only the first of a kind project.

If ETH is to reach the stars i needs to be improved and tested, this will take us beyond 2018.

There absolutely no need to compare ether with bch! Bch is hated by many people in cryptocurrency. Bch was trying to dilute and weaken bitcoin unnecessarily, but we all know the outcome. For all I care bch may be dead in few months!

we know that ETH  is a good currency and if it is only compare on BCH if this may surpass for what was BCH is right now it may have the possibilty that it can be cause we know how good project is on the ETH  than in BCH and on how does people trust ETH. so for me it may have some possibility of.

if you want to earn a lot of money you should not go for ethreum even if it reaches the price of bitcoin cash you have gains around 100% which is not much, i think waves has a much bigger growth potential than ethereum, simply because of comparable utility

from 11 USD to 300 USD there is a much bigger rate to win than from 500 to 1300

I think the price of eth equal to bch will not happen in 2018 later, due to the consideration in terms of volume and total token currently in circulation.

Can't say anything in regards of time, when Eth will exceed Bch or be equal in price.
But Eth has the potential to reach $5k or more. In my eyes, Eth is the next big thing after Btc.
Eth has more support than Bch, I mean, everyone supports Eth. But in regards of Bch, there is two separate groups in liking & disliking.

If I get some good money to invest someday, then I will put 70-80% in ETH and 20-30% in BCH.

I hope the price of Ethereum will be higher than BCH in 2018. I've been buying Ethereum since last year. I'm sure the price will rise, but it's hard to predict a certain amount. I guess we'll wait and see.

You are comparing apples with bananas here. No, I highly doubt ETH will ever catch BCH. If BCH gets the cash-type mass adoption its intending for, ETH price will always lag behind

Ethereum has a good project and I think better than every others coins but we can see how the price has been trying to break through  $550 with no avail. Bitcoin cash on the other hand has not doing very well on the project but I think with the aim of introducing debit cards and after this I think it will be competing with bitcoin core.

I think that Ether can definitely catch up to BCH next year. Given the hard forks, more users will switch to coins such as BCG, which will slow down BCH's price, and allow ethereum to catch up to BCH. Despite this, the limited supply of BCH compared to an unlimited supply of Ether might affect this.

I expected ethereum to have a higher price than bitcoin cash by now but its not just happening, its like people are been told the real bitcoin is the altcoin> bitcoin cash(BCH) whenever they try to invest in bitcoin. Once people learn the real bitcoin is BTC this should be restored and cash will be pumped back into BTC and some should go into eth

Being around in this ecosystem for a long time does not guarantee higher value but eth has more suppoerters than bitcoin cash and it should overtake it in value soon . just wonder why it has taken too long

Look at what is happening today with ETH. Price went to the moon. ETH added to the price yesterday of about 30%. This is the best indicator. The following may be BCH. The Chinese keep buying BCH. This is a sure sign that soon we will see the same start BCH. It seems to me that it is profitable to sell the coins ETH and buy coins BCH.

How can you compare Ethereum which have 96 million tokens in circulation with Bitcoin cash which have only 16 million tokens in circulation? In my opinion Ethereum can surpase Bitcoin cash price in near future because Ethereum have the best community around it and have a lot of developpers. If you're talking Market Cap that is a real possibility. You have to look at Market Cap over the USD $ price though. Ethereum has a higher supply than BTC or BCH so the dollar value wont get to that level, but in terms of being the #1 ranked coin which is decided in market cap that will happen.
