Guys, I am from May in the crypto world, I have mined 16 ETH since. With 5 of them I have traded successfully during the crisis which appeared the last months. I am expecting a major sell-off for 2 weeks almost and nothing happens. Bitcoin and alts are still there.
When is this going to happen? It looks like it wants to rise and rise.

What crisis? Eth is looking the strongest it's ever been. Even all the transaction backlog issues with crypto kitties it's still retaining it's price.

I am not talking about eth. I am talking about the crypto market in general. About the correction it didn't have for a long time already

Crypto market is unlike any other market you have ever seen and for that reason and others believe the bubble concept doesn't apply. There will be a correction I think but doubt it will crash and cease to exist.

Well if you have that money, why dont you conver those ethereums to bitcoin and start holding them for a while?

that is the best thing that you can do, bitcoin is going up so fast, and that is the only way that you can keep earning more without spending your ethereums.

Ethereum is going down in btc value, so better to convert them all if you want to earn much more than just by holding your eth's.


It wont fall, everything has been doubled since those two weeks that you have been waiting for.

Yes, they doubled and I do not know who is buying btc right now. I want to get in but I am waiting for the correction which is not coming to buy btc :)

in general? maybe never... it's not secret that BTC for example will become a part of history in some years... but blockchain will be implemented in several projects that are being created right now... so if you are scaried about marker fall, just try to diversificate your investements on top currencies and on hot trends, and everything will be OK  8) (crysis allow alternatives to raise up)

cryptoeconomics will stay, i rather expect central banksters cartels to dissappear. they will change their form

but also bitcoin will get strong damages with the people holding it getting humiliated, for the garbage that they try to sell to everyone.

I believe something should when all this futures thing starts. I expect the price to drop cuz "usual" exchanges are more trusted than crypto exchanges

Like all predictive attempts, it is practically impossible to predict when a large-scale fall in the crypto market will come, because on the contrary, there seems to be a greater consensus among investors every day regarding the convenience of investing in this emerging market.

However one thing is certain: eventually that will happen as a natural part of economic cycles of which no market is immune, but I hope that happens in the distant future.

I think when little people invest the market will fall. So, we must explain people about crypto and he want to invest in it :)

The correction already happened back down to 13k. If you're looking for a lower price than that then you're looking for a crash instead of a correction. I don't think that's going to happen soon. I think when we do see a signficant crash the value will be such that the crash will still keep it above 10k.

I was expecting a correction to 10k. It wouldn't have been a crash but a normal correction from a steady rise from 7 k to 17 k.

I think there is still plenty of gas left in the tank for the entire cryptocurrencies market to keep going for a while. We might see a crash eventually, but what if that crash doesn't affect the coins with the best fundamentals? I think a handful of alts will come out as big winners whenever that happens.

Like all markets the altcoin market will have periods when the price declines. Thinking you can predict it is a fool's errand.

Don't expect crisis this year and the next one. Cryptocurrencies are really overhyped as most promising technology of this world, and most of people believe that tendency will last longer. There was already some minor correction for BTC to 13k, it is far enough. Next deep correction will imply probably the death of BTC at all, since the only real usage of BTC for most people is investments/savings.

Why do you want the market fall? If market fall seems like it go further down and collapse.
I think as i see in price move, i see bitcoin and altcoin is going to rise but not down.

market wont fall.. the alt market is falling right now, but still many coins are at ATH..
dont wait for some hard correction, we expect big movements up in alt coin prices soon

He means that the congestion of ethereum this past days due to cryptokitties application. Developers should do something about this because if this problem continue, it will make the whole network done and its price too.

I think it will go down a bit before the cme futures start trading. Why? Because the cboe futures are feally small. Cme is for the big boys. So people will feel uncertainty and some will sell.

I wouldn’t count on a big correction though. Maybe it’ll go back down to $13-14k for a few hours.

If i was you I’d stop trying to time the market and just buy regularly (ie dollar cost averaging). If there’s a big dip, add to your position. You’ll get less grey hairs that way!

I cannot see a very convincing reason or reasons why the market will fall. Why are you expecting such a fall of the market by the way? In fact, as of now, we are seeing Ethereum successfully broken the $500 resistance. Perhaps, this Ethereum price growth will continue on and on until around $600. Bitcoin of course had already done its retracement and the growth that we are seeing right now shall be going on and on as well.

See the price of ethereum slowly begin to rise and the price has reached $ 500. I think this price will continue to rise until the beginning of the year.

Your right, and i think this is the time to invest or buy ethereum because like you said the price is slowly to rise his price. And for sure when this year 2018 coming, that's is the time to watch out our coin or altcoin because of value of all crypto, i'm not an expert but that's my opinion.

I agree with many folks here... Market will not fall if anything current BTC futures being added to real fiat exchange is showing that cryptocurrencys are slowly but surley being recognized as true currency with it's value. Now the only thing I fear with all this is control, offline world is dependent on control and they will try to put in some kind of regulation to control the market.

I agree with you because I also think if later in the year 2018 ethereum will ride with the land slowly-so if you already have the capital to be able to buy the coins, I believe there will be a loss

It is true that you say because we're still not sure gan could control the market price because right now we are still not able to predict there will be a change in the market price so it will depend how people who are interested in the coin

if you looking for red day just watch the bitcoin price. if bitcoin drop dramatically there might be a big chance for altcoin to drop too. when bitcoin recover i believe altcoin will recover and eth will become more stronger. i following this flow in investing. i wonder whats yours

if a lot of people are busy to enter the market and do trading activities to buy a stable coin every day, I think the market will still be good and will not fall.

I dont think we'll see a crash soon. There are so many people first hearing about cryptocurrencies and investing now, it's crazy. We might see insane growth before a correction comes along.

etherum is one of the good altcoin so i believe on it that as of now the price of it are rising it may continue and by the 2018 next year the way on how we see the ethereum are in the good way of taking some good future .

Exactly what I have been waiting for a while. The crypto market should fall like last time in May. I have never seen something like this for ling time. Bitcoin price just increase and increase. And this scares me to get into it. Now everyone keep buying btc whether they know what is bitcoin or not they just buy. Bitcoin news are everywhere now. Tv, radio, tech website, finance websites, other any websites... its every where. I really wonder how long this will continue like this.

 Dude its hard to say when will the market goes down. First and foremost the market is so stable up to this moment. You check it on some charts. Plus BTC is know world-wide now theres a minimal chances that the BTC price will fall. But so far so good. You try the trading industry and youll learn from there that the BTC market is stable. The more people know the BTC the high the pricy it gets. So ive read that youre expecting the high rise of price soon, its expected that the BTC price will be sky rocketing on early 2018. If I were you I wouldnt sell the coin that I kept on my wallet. I would hoard the supplies until it reached my desired value. Laws of supply and demand bro. GOOD LUCK!

With your opinion I am not strongly agree because the market for crypto currency is not predictable and easy the market is saturated and many of the experts have knowledge and experience regarding currencies. the important thing for market is to keep an eye on the rise and fall of the market there is the rise chances for the market till the Christmas and many fall after the new year celebration.

I think, that some kind of fall will happen at the beginning of 2018. The value of BTC can not grow infinitely without any real approvements.
After BTC fall all other cryptocurrency will also drop. But I hope - not for a long period of time.

First why would you wish that crypto currency market crash, it seems odd coming from a miner and to be completely honest I do not see this happening in the near future. Remember that bitcoin is fairly a your technology as it was just invented in 2009 and crypto currency trading is still new if you compared to other markets.
A little history here, stock market was created at 1817 and the first major stock market crash was at 1929, almost 100 years before a market fall. I know major price correction will always happen and no one can stop it but as of now only a few people are invested in Bitcoin and most them are willing to hold their coins.

Maybe the correction will come after we reach 33k? Nobody can tell you for sure, crypto is still a new thing and is nothing like the regular stock market.

I think market will go down near to Christmas holidays, when each one will want to fix their profits/loss.

Really, what will happen to the market during the new year's eave? This is not wall street and the market will not close :D some drunk traders would be able to shift the prices.

At least two reasons.

1. Psychological - it is a new year, and some people want to secure their profits, calculate losses, move capital from point A to B so they are prepared for new investments and opportunities. All in all, to make clear page for the new year. As I wrote, it is mostly psychological effect.
2. Taxes - In some countries people have to cash out their cryptos before the new year, to make their taxes

as far as I understand the rise or fall in the price of a market we can't predictions and so far the ethereum has increased only slowly walupun-land but will definitely increase with so not closing the possibility earlier in the year 2018 later ethereum will can achieve fantastic prices. If such good will when we start to invest some coins in the ethereum. and eth will be stronger the same thing his bitcoin.

I dont think futures will have a huge impact on the long run. Yes people will be able to short bitcoin but a)its not a good idea b) more people will invest in bitcoin when futures help them to hedge their investment.

Another thing is that now people will be taking profit to spend during this festive period, there is no better time to enjoy part of what you have worked for through out the year and this will result in another set of dump in the market

I think most of the people don't care when will market fall because all the coins/tokens rise to higher price everyday , they just want to join now and earn fast money , I think market will fall (maybe 2018 January)
