I find these interesting. But I've got some concerns regarding "Physical Travelflex card (usable as a credit/ATM card)," do you have partners now or still looking? I'm sure that if this will be implemented, it would be limited tp certain countries and will take a lot of time to reach other countries.

There is always a risk that the credit cards would be stolen so using this one would be favorable for the travelers because even though the card is lost, there will be a pin code connected to the phone so the one who found it cannot use the card. I like the Near Field Communication (NFC) to see who uses Travelflex around you so that in case you will be out of travelflex then you can just buy from them. Maybe you can have partnerships with travel agencies so that in case there are travelers, they can suggest travelflex to be used by them.

Understood the travel part.Which countries are you primary targeting ?  It would take ages to reach the horizons which are not  in your continent.
Don't see how Decentralised Social Networks will play a big role here ? I don't see no connection between the two sectors targeted here.The card comes with a service fee or you are taking that as a transaction fee ?

Yes we do pay for that. But fees will be very low. Like local atm price fees. We basically act like a bank for it.
 People upload the trf and they will be converted into fiat instantly like a bitpay system.

This is all very nice technically and impressively developed but considering the many ICOs which recently either flopped or scammed their investors, I'm curious and interested in seeing how this all progresses. Trust is a core element in projects like this as obviously you expect people to inject bitcoins and altcoins into this ICO which might be seen as investing but is in fact gambling in TravelFlex to gain some form of ROI.

It's always nice to see new projects and ideas which advance the crypto world. It's still an evolving industry but of course we all need to be realistic about our expectations and also aware of the risks involved. I like this project, especially the idea of a solid payment system divorced from the traditional banking system. If totally real and functional, this would be an opportunity not to be missed. Relying on a Gibraltar-based card issuer however implies or suggests you do not have your own issuer number from MasterCard. As such, there is no direct relationship between TravelFlex and MasterCard. It would be nice to see you progress to a point where you are recognized as an issuing bank.

You can pay in any country since the travelflex card runs over the normal atm card system.

Bonuses is a thing we are currently working on with partners. It will be in the form of upgrades of airline tickets and hotel rooms. Plus discounts. This process takes time and will grow after the ico.

It seems to be a legit ICO. At first where are you going to implement this? I mean which country, because its not possible to implement it together all over the world. What are the benefits of token holders? Also in the website I couldn't find the softcap and the hardcap? Can you please mention it here in the thread?

After reading about the Travelflex I signed up on their page by creating a profile.

However I'm in doubt about how to make the actual payment to the correct wallet address, because I have three addresses to chose from.

The page lists two wallet addresses.

One wallet address below the sentence: Copy the address below and make the payment of xxxx amount
I call that wallet 1.

And then another one: Your TRF Wallet: I call that wallet 2.

To which address should I transfer my payment to, the one listed on top, or the one listed below? ??? ???

Great project and I believe in the future of Travel Flex, the ICO period is short but they were able to raise 77% of the hard cap already.
There are still 3 days remaining and I hope they will reach the hard cap to hard more funds to fully develop this project.

Nice conceptualized idea of linking the travel industry into the blockchain technology. thumbs up to the great team behind this project.

The idea looks great but I do have some very serious concerns though.

Their so called Team, tried looking them up on google, its like they don't exist. The main guy Peter has a pretty bare linkedin page, most of the others nothing, one of the other guys there's a profile with same picture but absolutely no mention of Travelflex on that page.
There's also no listed address, no team member twitter accounts no nothing, only a contact text form on their website.

This raises a few alarm bells for me. Perhaps Petersha can chime in and put our minds at ease on these matters?

At least the DAG Algo isnt the standard ERC20 Token.
Although there is nothing special besides that, I really like the idea an the whole concept, it's all about crossing borders.
It seems more like a crypto you would actually use in a convenient way for payments.

If travelers go abroad using TRF, I think the volatility of the market is a problem.
After the TRF plummeted, there is a possibility that the funds will run out and no longer return to the house.
If we solve that point, we will grow as a business that we can expect considerably.

It does look like TravelFlex is a scam. No one is getting coins. They don't respond to anyone. Their sites are disappearing from online. Can someone try and track these people down before they escape with our money?

I suggest joining their telegram.  Very active community there, a lot of questions asked and answered.  I was feeling the same prior to joining, but the team made time to speak to everyone.

I have to say despite my initial concerns regarding lack of information on the team members online, now after spending quite some time in their telegram chat room and seeing just how hard working and engaged the team are with this project and dealing with orders, getting Android wallet up already and setting dates for it to go on exchanges, I'm feel a LOT better about it all. payments are pocessed manually. i had my trf after 2 hrs, but also bought at start of ico when it still was "small".  try send them a email, im sure youll get your coins, but as said, payments are processed manually so mistakes can happen i guess.

Does anyone know what exchanges are likely to list Trf? 

I bought my TRF coins during ICO and paid with BTC from Coinbase and ETH from Gemini. Then they emailed me same day for screen shot of payment and my TRF wallet address. I sent them screen shot and transaction ID for both transactions. I also sent my wallet address.

It took like 2 or 3 days and they credited my account with ONLY my ETH payment.

I got very worried and emailed them again sending same information of all my proof of purchase. Like another 3 days went by and I checked my account and I saw the correct amount of coins I paid for. So, I guess it has not been a scam for me. I do not think TRF is a scam.

I am sure they have a backlog and since they are manually filling our wallets, it may take them some time. They said it may take up to 3 weeks from time of purchase to get your coins.

I know 2 people that I bought same time with them and it is almost 2 weeks now and they have not received theirs yet.

On a side note, I know someone who bought coins from a different ICO and they sent him almost TWICE the number of coins he paid for. He emailed them and told them and they reduced his coins and thanked him. They did not offer him any free coins for his gesture. But they thanked him in the response to his email.

Have you tried contacting them in the Telegram group? They are quite active there and there is always at least one admin online. I agree their e-mail communication is not the best, but it is to be expected with the load of work they have now...

Well the first thing coming to my mind is the credit card. You will be able to withdraw money anywhere with really low fees thanks to the coins. And it should be used in all major applications in the future (Booking, Airbnb) for fast payments and so on. There will me a lot of options.

I can also confirm that they transferred the coins which I paid with ETH (sent from Ethereum Wallet), I received them very fast and also sent them from the old wallet to the new without any problem, as long as you see your transaction in the eth block explorer and you validate that you send it to the right address, I believe there is no reason to worry.

Yes, in honesty I was a sceptic being 3 weeks without coins, and with no reply from help desk. And I felt that communication was shocking, but having spoken to the development team it's clear that those guys are putting some serious hours in atm. I'm sure after the initial dishing out of coins, all the tidying up and administration will be sorted.

Really? With Scrypt algo? What planet are these guys coming from?

I remember them saying that they change the algo once they release mining publicly. Targeted block time was supposed to be 1 minute. Hasn't happened (yet), hopefully it is still planned to do so. Maybe they just needed some hashpower to speed up transactions. Scrypt really sucks, centralized ASIC mining with high block time.

I think TRF is going to be a great coin for backpackers & merchants dealing in the travel industry.

It's just empty words. Peter Hoogslag, CEO of TravelFlex is an Advisor of Lunes Platform. I don't think there is anything bad in all of this, on the contrary, it's a very good. He deserved recognition as a professional.

No, he is focusing on raising more ico money. He has banned 5 TravelFlex coin holders that I know of from raising concerns on twitter. (why) I hold a large amount of coins and am not going to sell them at this price when I bought them at .28. I am just warning others of what I am finding out. I was big on them until I have been investigating rumblings of them being a scam.

It doesn't look like you are an investor, especially large investor. The real investor wants to earn money and successful increase your capital, but you want to lose money. I believe you have motive to see it fail, but your efforts are in vain.

I do have a significant investment in travelflex. It had a 'A' ico rating on one of the top ico raters which I trust. But the lack of transparency, the banning of twitter followers who voice concerns (there are 7 now that I know of) and now spending time raising money for another ico all have raised serious red flags. I hope they prove me wrong and turn this around. They said they were going on major exchanges which they aren't. They made a big deal going on Stocks.exchange which has $900 24 hour volume. There are no real linken on them. They said they were burning left over tokens but instead they sold 10 million more for .32 under the guise of "charity." You tell me what the positives are then we can talk. But until then I am accepting the fact that I invested in a scam coin.

"Payment gateway" is the most failure idea in this crypto world. Besides, I don't any enthusiasm from CEO and devs of this project. What I see is CEO he seems  not to care about his project and he seems just to use money from the ICO to invest other projects. We need transparency, GUYS!. The price rise is not yet convincing, we need to see an increase of volume to see a good price.
Now, the volume is just $16,000 in 24 hours trading, that does not show we have already attracted the investors, let's wait for that time, don't sell.

According the whitepaper, we should expect the most interesting stuff in the fourth quarter of this year, when TRF will switch to a new algorithm, i.e. DAG, that will give the coin great scalability potential and super-fast transaction times. Before this, in 2nd and 3rd quarter, physical Travelflex credit card and new partnerships were promised.

I haven't followed this coin since the bounty in december but I'm not sure if they have completed anything in the roadmap. It sucks to see multiple projects still not delivering anything even after 4 or 5 months of their inception.

We would be able to assess the potential of the Travelflex project in 4-5 months after the team will introduce DAG algorithm, plastic card and announce new partnership. And before it happens it is difficult to say something clear about the project.

At last some updates from Travelflex team. They have some Indonesian partners already. This is still a silent project where once it enters any of those big exchange will make a sudden increase. How much did the team raise in the ICO?

I forgot the exact figure but I believe they raise over $10 million.
It would be good if there is a community manager here who can actively answer questions, or maybe join in their telegram channel so you can get timely information and all your queries will be answered.

This is really a good project. Now the team needs to work hard in order to reach what is in the white paper. Marketing is also important especially that trading exchanges offering Travelflex are still quite limited.

A good project but with small community, that is not the recipe for success, they need to work on their weaknesses so travelflex will grow.
I personally have invested on this, but the low volume and lack of exchanges shows they are not too aggressive.

We would like to invite all owners of TRF coins to swap their old TRF coin for the new on DAG based algorithm TRF coins, before the 15th of September 2018.
You must do this yourself, on our official swap platform (https://my.travelflex.app).

TravelFlex will not do this automatic for you. The exchanges on which you might keep TRF coins will not do this automatically for you.
