Post by: Emaxxx on December 13, 2017, 05:32:57 AM
Hi all! I got into cryto this same time last year, I wanna share with you the dumbest thing I did as a noob back then, and it still haunting me.

I created a new ethereum wallet last year I stocked it up with 25eth..am very poor at that time eth was 4$ each I think..that was the most I could afford, I was using an ethereum client node, unfortunately for me I wrote down my wallet address instead of the private key. Now m been haunted by that fact I could have been a millionaire in my country..#dumbestthingyoudidincrypt

I have invested around 1 bitcoin in one of the ponzi when price per bitcoin was only around $500, lost all of it but at current price total amount that I have lost is around $17000  >:(

Also just like you I have forget to make proper backup of my myetherwallet where I have around 10 ETH.

You guys are making me feel much better about accidentally cutting, not copying my Komodo seed from a notes file last week after a few too many bourbons and losing 200 coins. Aside from that it would likely be not holding the BTC/ETH etc when I first started dabbling in September. On the plus side I've tripled my portfolio since Nov.

Only consider the loss of 500$ at that time because you might have sold at that moment itself had it being in your wallet. I regret now that I had earned some fractional btc for the work done for them and I spent in my early days to purchase  something for myself. Only if I calculate at present value it is a nightmare to me that i bought it multiple times costly stuffs for others and myself.

I bought 200 LTC at 5, sold at around 75. Can't complain EVER when ringing the cash register though - it is what it is. I wound up selling for ETH and doubled or so still. Made a few similar moves to that one, whatevs.

Purchased those ETH for about $270 each.

Dumbest thing I did? Well I didnt pay attention on crypto before. I didnt see future for this kind of thing. But then look at me now, Im here and Im totally astonished by how this thing goes. I cannot say that Im a pro at this but Im pretty sure that Im not the only one. So for all those newbies out there I will suggest to you that keep on reading reliable articles. Study how this thing works and Ill guaranteed you a sweet taste of success. You should have plan first before going to any transaction like trading or buying some alt coins. Seeking advice on people with the same perspective would be a great advantage for you. Good luck!

regret is a normal thing that crypto users feel. sold my bitcoins when the price cheap around $500 and regret now because the price increased pretty high. At that time I never thought the price can reach $1000 but now $16000. I'm shocked

The dumbest thing i've ever done is sending eth from exchange wallet to smart contract, i don't know how things work back then and i thought i can use exchange ethereum address. Loss about 3 eth because i can claim the token from the exchange.

Like an idiot with know knowledge of this space...well Mark Cuban is backing it, it has to be good!

No major mistakes have been made on my behalf, but keeping some Ripples more would of been good, since Ripple is on a high rise atm, and probably heading to $1.
That would of meant lots of profit.

Sold 14ETH for 80ish pounds thinking I was a genius and there was no way it could go higher. 14ETH atm is £6.8k and climbing.
Lesson learned: The crypto sphere has enormous scope for growth; don't underestimate its potential.

Panicked when Ark first started dropping and sold it all, then bought it all back shortly after when it started rising again. 2k Ark gone for no reason :) As of now, that 2k is worth £6.5k.
Lesson learned: Just because a coin is going down doesn't mean it's bad.

Spent the £600 pounds I was going to use to buy Dash on a plane ticket. Wasn't really my fault as this was a family obligation but I could have put my foot down. When I saw it skyrocketting I didn't buy back in because I was salty. As of now, that decision has "cost" me £66,500.
Lesson learned: Don't get salty just because you missed an opportunity to buy in early. This helped me recently. I meant to buy Iota one day but ended up getting delayed, and it went up by 40% overnight. I was feeling bitter, but I still bought in. Since then what I put in has almost tripled.

There was also PivX... It sounded promising to me and I was going to buy a few hundred pounds' worth one night, but I'd read an article earlier saying to not buy coins on impulse when you're tried. I thought it made sense and decided to ignore PivX. Shortly after, the anon-coin frenzy kicked in and PivX exploded. It went up by (IIRC) x100. As of now it's gone up by over 200x. I'm not even going to calculate how much that would be.
Lesson Learned: None. Ouch.

I think just let it go brother, it is will hurt you and give negative effect for your life and trading if you think about it and hunt you daily, i made mistakes too, like invest and do trading like noob buy high sell low because of FOMO. and then i learn i must fight the fear and have positive mental attitude like "let it go" and "nothing to loose".

Yes, not investing in Bitcoin all those years ago was the dumbest thing I've ever had to experience. But the good thing is that Altcoins are become as useful and valuable as Bitcoin is slowly.
Ethereum is doing so well now, and so is Litecoin and Ripple. Great year incoming.

The dumbest thing I have done in crypto is investing around 2bitcoin into a ponzi scheme this time last year and all my bitcoin was scam. I felt very bad and foolish enough to have believed all that was told by the scheme as at that time, by now I should have been a millionaire with the help of bitcoin price rise recently.

There's really no point to keep dwelling on something you did in the past which looked like the smart move to do but now looks like a mistake.  There will be many more opportunities to regain those missed financial gains.  Keep researching for the next Bitcoin.  Cryptocurrency is making people fortunes everyday.

The dumbest thing I did was when I waited for the coin ebtc (from free airdrop) to reach $1 and not sell it so I could earn a fortune because it was my first coin. I watched it drop until I decided to sell it at $0.03 at the order book. Then later on it rose higher, still haunting me till today.

I used to think way overpaying for my L3+ from a third party seller, but considering that that reached ROI like 3 months ahead of schedule thanks to the recent rise in LTC value, I'd have to go with buying a D3.

For me it is mainly panicking when trading and making losses by selling as soon as a coin starts falling. Nowadays I make better assessments and I am more patient if I am confident that a falling coin will rise again.

It was my first time trading and one time I saw a coin rising fast (I think it's in the process of pumping) so I bought big time then suddenly the rising stop and drop slowly, I waited for 2 hours to see if it is still going up but that was it, I lost half my money that time.

I think the dumbest thing I've ever did in my crypto life when I was a noob was when I started trading, and I really didn't know what I was doing and thought it's going to be easy like 1,2, 3 and so I clicked a lot of things until I accidentally hit sell and sold all of my coins which could've made me a millionaire now. It haunts me up until now every time I logged in on that exchange site.

I am actually surprised I have not done anything really stupid yet.

The worst thing is probably that I bought Espers when it was at its highest pump. That was my first crypto trade and I bought into hype. It's worth 1/10th of what I paid, fortunately I only spent $100 on it.
The second dumb thing was that I sold Ark at $1.1 and 8 hours later it soared to $2 and a few days later to $4-5. But then again I bought it at $0.65 so I gained almost double profit. It's just that I could've gotten much more from it.

Every other investiment I've done have been increased nicely, Waves (bought at between $2-$4), NEO ($6), SunContract ($0.035), Shift ($1), Nexus ($1.7).

The dumbest thing I did when I started was to buy from coinbase with credit card. Insanely expensive compared to just buying on exchange. But I was noob, so what could i do.
Another rookie mistake was waiting when BTC hit 1000 USD, instead of buying. Because I felt it was too expensive at the time.  ;D

The most stupid situation with crypto currency is when I collected a few bitcoins in my wallet, and then quite unsuccessfully lost access to this wallet. And now, looking at the price of bitcoin, it's not that elbows, but I want to bite all.

I sold BTC3.2 four years ago for total profit not even $100. Now it's worth aprox. $55000. Another EPIC FAIL I did was, when my Siacoins reached $2500 I have chance to switch it for BTC1 at that time. I didn't and I am still HODLing SC (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/siacoin/) and believing in project, but I could have so much more...  :'(

We all did dump things when we just started, the dumbest thing you can do now is not to evolve, there is always a chance. I would recommend you to invest to a good ICO, I will invest to www.diwtoken.com , this ICO looks very promising and here is your chance to be millionaire

Dumest thing I did... nothing.  I literally did nothing when my instincts told me I should have bought BTC.

I have always had a knack for identifying things that have good potential for profit, and until recently I never did anything.  I have always said I would use $1,000 to invest in something.  I read an article about BTC in 2013, when it was under $100 each.  My gut told me to buy, my logic told me not to.  I didn't.  The result... I don't have $170,000 that I could have had.

Something similar happened a couple of years earlier on a stock that I was interested in.  In a matter of one year my $1,000 would have been worth $10,000.

I started doing some P2P lending about 8 months ago, which is earning 14%.  I started in crypto a little over a month ago, and my gains currently sit at 90%.  Should have done it a long time ago.  I'm in crypto for the long-term now.

my stupidest experience in the world of cryptocurrency is when I have been paid with a new altcoin, from the bounty campaign. I immediately sold the coin at the lowest bid price, and then the coins rose almost 10x from the price I sold, I felt very stupid

For me it is not getting in several years ago. I started to research bitcoin from mainstream media reports, but I realise now that these were articles written by people who didnt know what they were talking about... at the time it made me think crypto was pointless... now I am much better informed... I hope!

Been with the cryptosphere for almost 4-5 years now so I'm not gonna consider myself a noob but I did something earlier this year which I consider the dumbest one (related to cryptocurrency) as far as I can remember. I'm a Waves holder since the beginning and we got an airdrop from an unknown coin at the start of this year. Just because it is a very new coin, I hasten myself and put it in the exchange right away to sell it. Fast forward this month, that specific coin that I sold for pennies became listed to one of the biggest cryptoexchanges today and it's worth quite a fortune today. I'm kicking myself for selling it to such a very low price. Well, I learned something very important from it and I'll make sure that it will never happen again.  ;D

I think the possibility of making mistakes is a constant threat in this market because of the immense amount of tokens, passwords, private and public keys that we have to protect, for which I regret that you have suffered this mishap.

Actually I do not think I made too many mistakes, except to have sold a lot of my bitcoins at prices as low as $ 450 or $ 800 last year, thinking that bitcoin could not grow as vigorously as we see now.

Well I have not lost much money but the dumbest thing I did was investing in Genesis Mining lol. I have bought some Monero mining power for around 100$ which could have been 2.5 Moneros at that time if I just had bought them directly instead. Now after a few months I am still struggling to get the minimum payout amount of 0.4 Moneros and I don´t even know if I will ever reach it. I have a 0$ return now an it could be 800$

It doesnt stop though: did the same for lisk ico and i bought 100's of eth for 2$.  I choose the right things but sell too early. I'm the walking example of why you shoild hodl...

The dumbest thing apart of setting stupidly shallow stop orders and having to pay afterwards when stop order had been triggered but price did bounce back immediately , is 1) selling of BTC a year ago 2) selling LTC on 136 level ( this was the only coin from 8-10 i sold off)

Dumbest thing I did was few coin swaps and keeping unsold tokens when there was a clear signs of price decline. Overall loss I accumulated is nearly 3BTC.
But on the other hand I've manage to do a lot of good trades, so I'm ahead. I did a lot of dumb stuff, but Dumbest will be if I didn't learn from.

The dumbest thing that i did when i was noob in crypto is that i sold my first ever token that i received in my first bounty in a small amount , a day later that token got pump up so high , and i am very disappointed in what i did. Because i am first timer then in crypto and curious on how to sell tokens , i did sell all my tokens cheap. And when i ever think of what i did before , all i am gonna do now is to laugh at myself , and say to myself how dumb i am in that day.

The biggest mistake i did is that i did not sell my coins when the price is high that it would triple my profit, but now the price decrease. If i did sell it, it would make me more profit to invest for trading and other mistake i made is investing in a scam currency.

The dumbest thing that I did in cryptocurrency as a "noob" back then was regretting to invest in something.

Back then, Bitcoin doesn't have any value at all. I think someone was selling a lot of Bitcoins for cash, and I choose to pass. Years later, I started to think like I'm having the dumbest decision in my life not investing in Bitcoin years ago. Same thing with Ethereum when it was still new.

Most of these things aren't mistakes, they are standard results of investing in anything volatile. My dad used to say (before he left this shitty world) that you should never look back from a sale; you made your profit, and whatever future profit is for the guy who bought from you. Which, in turn, is how you made your profit in the first place.

Dumbest thing I've ever done as a noob was when I lost 1 btc because I gave my private key to someone who I did not even know few years back. Indeed at that time the price was around $300 only but I still regret it till now. It was a big mistake but it was a lesson as well for a noob. I think many people has their own mistake in this crypto world that made them lost some money. This is a lesson for all newbie to always do some research and reading trusted sources on everything they are going to do in anything related to crypto.

but 3 or 5 days after I sold altcoin the altcoin then raced up high, and at that moment I counted,
if I sold that high price, then I could get 2 ETH more, very unfortunate indeed

I don't think that your  mistake is big Because here I made a big mistake what you made , when I was in the starting then I came across a advertisement where it was mentioned that make 5 btc maximum in one bet , since I was not rich perosn that time but still I made adjustment of loan of 0.5 btc ( at 300$/btc ) and betted to make big earnings but with 3-4 bet I lost my all btc that I got from loan , that was really a stupid thing for me because I lost all because of gambling , since I was not aware that that was Gambling , I was thinking that it is only a type of game but unfortunately I lost everything and a big loan was at my head .
Well after that I made Gambling in small amount only for fun purpose only and get into trading seriously after 2 month and made much profit.

We all have made bad dicesions when we first started to use cryptocurrency, and maybe for most of the poeple the biggest mistake they did is they did not save bitcoin up until now, or else they would have became crazy rich from it, i know i personnaly regret not saving my coins, i tried to collect as much bitcoin as i can in one year and then i sold them when the price reached 1000$, soon after that by a couple of months bitcoin started rising like crazy, and at that momnet i relized how impatient i was and i sould've at least saved some, it is not bad to make these mistakes as long as you learn from them and try to avoid mistakes made by others.

it would be even better if many told that they did something that could not be done and what it led to. many users want to cheat in this or that situation, but sometimes what happens. As a result, only problems.

For me it's hard to choose.

Scenario 1: I had some bitcoins $50 worth on my blockchain wallet that I had gathered through faucets after sweating day and night clicking on ads for free satoshis, I lost the money to a ponzi scheme despite clear warning not to get involved.

Scenario 2: Panic sell my bitcoins in January this year because of a mere correction. As a noob, I thought the price would crash and never return.

Hi Everyone! Well, the dumbest thing I did in crypto was way back 2014. Buying the coin when I saw it in green line, then when it is already in red line or negative line, i sell it. Then when i notice why i didn't have profit, then I was like "oh right, the green line is when the coin is above and negative red when it is been dump." Then i was like "why you so dumb, waste of money." Hahahaha. I don't know it back then, still learning to trade that time. Excitement sometimes make you dumb

Common mistake that most people must be doing when engaging in bitcoin, traders love this when all the hard working FUD spreading members and someone manage to listen to them and sell the coins that could have more value later on.

I haven't done anything stupid myself yet (touch wood)...

But some wanted to buy Electroneum on Cryptopia for $0.06. He thought the price field was in USD, but it was actually in BTC. So he bought one ETN coin for around $450 when the real price was around $0.06. You can still see the gigantic spike in the price when you go back all the way to the first day of Electroneum trading on Cryptopia.

At least he made one seller VERY happy.

I dont want to remember these things. The dumbest thing was that I have bought Stratis at 700 satoshis. I was new to crypto and really excited about a 100% gain.

On the other side I was really scared about altcoins because BTC was in bull mode. So I decided to sell all my Stratis for a double. Right after my sell it started rallying to 400,000 sats. That really killed me. :(

I have also done a similar mistake, forgetting to write down the password of a wallet that later would suddenly be worth a lot. However, I was lucky because after hours of trying variations of my usual passwords, suddenly the wallet opened.

A few days ago i decided to sell 500 BNB coins because it was not moving for ages and bitcoin was pumping. After panic selling it turns out that after a few days BNB is now double the price that i sold it for >:( bitcoin on the other hand is rising slowly - should have kept the bnb!

two years ago on Poloniex exchange, i saw a huge red candle on GEMZ cryptocurrency, dropped like 80% of its value,
i though "time to buy !" and i went all in.

when i connected back to poloniex, i knew why the price droppped so low, the currency was about to be delisted ==

then i have to sell 60% lower... and yes i was all in.

i never felt so stupid.

in my defense, i was just a few week trader newbie. never hear about any crypto before.

damn it ! :)

Just yesterday I wanted to sell some of my Bitcoins for ZAR - the BTC/ZAR price was falling due to political reasons and I wanted to capitalize on it by selling high and buying low. I saw the numbers fly past on the exchange and started to panic. In my haste, I fumbled to get a sell order submitted and did not realize I was typing a very low price into the box. So I sold my Bitcoins for about $100 less per Bitcoin than what I could have gotten. Lucikly the price went down far enough so I could buy again and just break even, but I could have made a little had I just focused more.

the most dumbest I've ever done in crypto is the sale of my altcoins and finally reprimand because once a few days the prices have risen. and listened to someone else who was good at investing in it but not.

I tried to earn money in a pump group. of course, as 90% of people joining this shity scammy experience, I lost 80% of my bet.
But it's in doing mistakes that we learn the most :D

So for all newcommers here, never go in a pump group, they will make you believe that you will earn a lot, but generally, the only winners are the owners of the pump group themself, and they will never tell you who they are, of course :p

Good luck for your future investments my friends.

Just about every time I sell any coin it skyrockets.  I could hold a coin for a year, with very little profit, sell it, and the next day it triples.  Happens all the time.  If you want to get rich I'l announce what coin I am selling.  Then you buy it.  Guaranteed big profits!  LOL

As a newbie never sell with a loss. You lose only then when you sell with a loss. Of course, if you have choosen shitcoin, maybe then it's better to lose less than more, however, choose the strong coins like NEO, BTC, ETH, ETC, ADA, and a few other, and then u won't need to sell at loss

For me, the dumbest thing I ever did was to follow exactly what youtube pumpers and shillers said.
Specifically, Suppoman...

When I first started out, I didn't know where to turn to so I naturally just started watching a bunch of youtube videos on crypto and ran accross Suppoman.
I got hooked and even paid for his shitty "newsletters".
I would buy whatever he shilled and ended up losing quite a bit of money.
Combine that with the noob habit of panic selling, and I was ready to give up after about 3 months.

Then, I decided to try to stick it out longer and figure out what I was doing wrong so I started educating myself on everything crypto and then branched out into market economics, trade strategies, etc.
I looked long and hard at what I had done wrong and changed those things.

Obviously, things got way better as I started basing my trading choices on informed decisions rather than a paid shill.

(also, his voice is somehow incredibly annoying.  Like a desperate pre pubesant car salesman).

Nearly all of the early adopters in crypto currencies experienced like this too. The worst ones are like throwing their CPU with their bitcoin wallets inside including their keys. I also have some previous reckless experiences but maybe only around $200. I would rather not think about their values now as it would only heart our feelings and regret. We cannot change and turn it back anyways.

How about we settle this point at the core of the site!

Get involved with a ponzi scheme. Thinking that cryptos would make me a millionaire in a short time so in that vein, I ended up losing some of my hard earned cash. Then there was the time where I sold my eth coins a bit too early last year. Then I had to watch the price go up and then buy in at a higher price, in the end making money but not as much money as I would have made if I were just patient and held my coins.

I cannot deny that I was once a noob in the world of cryptocurrency, but that was before and I have learend things from my experience especially the bad ones. What I did before is I panic sell after I saw the market significantly went down in order to prevent losing all my money, and after 1 night the market went up which is 3x more profit if I have not sold my coins in the market. I really regret that moment, because I am so impatient that time if only I had hold all my coins that time I earn huge amount of profit.

Now m been haunted by that fact I could have been a millionaire in my country..#dumbestthingyoudidincrypt
dumbest thing would be. buy tokens and selling it by  30% plus. then a week later. the price of the token was doubled. it was the shittest moment of my life at the moment.

The most stupid thing is that I invested in coins on a downtrend and lost about 50% of the deposit due to the fact that I did not understand absolutely the movements and manipulations in the market.

my most idiotic thing was essentially not getting into bitcoin when I found out about it 6 years back. I began to, completed a group of online research at that point chose it was excessively muddled, making it impossible to do and surrendered...

All of us made a stupid move like yours, don't be haunted on what happen on your past, you can't really turn back. Instead make it as an inspiration to do more and prove yourself that behind that major move, you can prove that you learn a lesson on that. And just continue stepping forward.

Never join things following just hype.
I've become a lot smarter and wiser since then. A lot ore research is done now.  ;D

We all have made bad dicesions when we first started to use cryptocurrency, and maybe for most of the poeple the biggest mistake they did is they did not save bitcoin up until now, or else they would have became crazy rich from it, i know i personnaly regret not saving my coins, i tried to collect as much bitcoin as i can in one year and then i sold them when the price reached 1000$, soon after that by a couple of months bitcoin started rising like crazy

The dumbest thing I did in my whole cryptocurrency career was when I never believed in bitcoin. I have heard about bitcoin in the early 2011. I saw an advertisement about it and said this might be another internet scam or just a spam. If only I took the time to check it out first and maybe buy some when the price was so low. I could have become a freaking millionaire now. Till this day those memory keeps on haunting me.

We all make mistakes. My biggest mistake was buying coins for a project that I subconsciously knew was going to be joke. But we learn from our mistakes and I make sure I know who and what I'm supporting before getting into it.

It is okay. With that, you were learning that you must write down or copy all of your wallet information next time.
Sometimes the mistakes you done become experience even the dumbest thing.
I was trying to unlock eth address using private key : 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Similar here. I also did a few panic selling, which cause me lost a lot. I guess you did not really loss until you sell your coin. For me, I bought at a high price when everyone start to enter the crypto market, then I sold a bunch when the price start to fall down. Now I am holding the rest of my coins.

forget your 25Ethereum and do it again to find it by trading in cryptocurrency or following a bounty campaign.

I think the dumbest thing for me would have to be selling the bitcoins my friend gifted me when I first got into cryptos. I just wanted the money and it was not even worth much at the time. Then when bitcoin bulled, I finally realized my mistake and by then it was too late. Now I don't sell coins indiscriminately no matter how badly they are doing.

Just yesterday I needed to offer a portion of my Bitcoins for ZAR - the BTC/ZAR cost was falling because of political reasons and I needed to profit by it by offering high and purchasing low. I saw the numbers fly past on the trade and began to freeze. In my flurry, I bobbled to get an offer request submitted and did not understand I was composing a low cost into the crate. So I sold my Bitcoins for about $100 less per Bitcoin than what I could have gotten. Lucikly the cost went down sufficiently far so I could purchase again and simply equal the initial investment, yet I could have made a little had I recently centered more.

My dumbest thing I did when I do panic selling all of my holding coins. Selling those at a low price If I hold for a bit and wait atleast a profit maybe I have already in huge of btc.

Same with me. When I was still a noob I sell my coins because of panic.  I really regretted doing it, if only I hold it longer then I can get more.

I bet most of the newcomers have sold their tokens for a low market value not expecting that its market price will further increase due to the natural market volatility as well as selling due to panic. Many people have experienced the pressure on to sell already or to further hold bounty rewards with hesitations because the increase is not continuous in terms of the price of the token. These are the common mistakes that the new ones are doing.

The most important thing is that you learn from your previous mistake. Don't regret on the things that cannot be undone. Always think of the present. All newbies will make a mistake. It just so happen that you are not sure on what you were doing and that is why it happened.

It's very difficult to forget about that event and it will continue to be remembered by you.

the dumbest thing I've ever done was when I decided to pause in 2014-2015, even though at that time I was able to produce more than 1-2 bitcoins only through ponzi schemes, faucets and a kind of bounty hunter at that time. If you are an old player, you will still remember Stellar Coin (now called Stellar Lumens) which at that time shared coins for free just by sharing on Facebook and Twitter (I think this is the forerunner to the emergence of a bounty campaign today. Sometimes I still regret why at that time I sold bitcoin to buy one tv and personal computer, but it was okay, because maybe without the personal computer I bought at that time, I could not understand the crypto industry even further until now.

I think I've made too many mistakes in this crypto-universe. Perhaps the most painful of all my mistakes was having been invited to invest in bitcoin about six years ago, when cryptocurrencies were not yet well known and their price was very cheap. But unfortunately I did not have enough vision to think it would be profitable, so I simply turned my back on bitcoin. Another of my mistakes was having bought ethers below $5.00, to sell them at $7.00, thinking it was a good profit margin.

Mostly I just followed the hype, I never really checked out the coins to make sure that I was actually investing in something that I am going to believe in, I just invested because others were talking about the coins which led to a lot of bad decisions. Also there are a lot of times where I sold too soon because I did not understand how the market worked yet

And this is my story. I forgot the password from my account in one of the ICO projects and didn't have time to buy their tokens, since they collected a hard cap in a matter of minutes. At the same time, I was very eager to get into this project, studied it for a long time, waited, passed the verification and in the end didn't have time because of my stupidity.

I used to make mistakes until now I still remember a lot. I once had an altcoin that really caught my attention in the market, but after I invested the price began to fall, so I panicked and scared. a few weeks later the price started to stabilize then I decided to immediately sell it for fear the price would drop again. after I sold the 5-day auction, the price rose 4x fold from the price I sold. at that time I regretted that I couldn't sleep. but I'm sure of all the mistakes there must be a lesson.

You should do it carefully, if you are still confused, maybe you can ask for help from someone who knows the problem better. I myself have friends that I can ask for advice so that I don't get the problem you are experiencing. this can all be used as an experience for you.

I sold half of my portfolio and buy long forgotten coin Peepcoin for 1 satoshi, because i heard somewhere,
Peepcoin will be going for rebranding to the new coin Dapps.

So, i bought millions (50 or 100 mln) of Peepcoin, and when it go from 1 satoshi to 2 satoshi - i sold them all, because
i thought, price will go to the 1 satoshi again, before the pump - and i wanted to re-buy for 1 sat and get double.

BUT! When i sold, price goes up and up, and reach maximum of 13 satoshi and never go to 1-2 satoshi again!

This is where i was cursed by myself for greed and stupidity :D

Buy High Sell Low that is the dumbest thing that most of us did,
F.O.M.O is the reason why we buy some alt-coin while it is being pump and we hold it because we believe that it would recover while it is being dump the we would be eaten by F.U.D so we would sell it at a very low price.
