If I invest $5k in EOS now, will it be worth in 2018?

I heard EOS own blockchain will be released in 2018 and it will be moved to its own blockchain then its price will skyrocket.

What's your advice?

The EOS project is led by Dan Larimer, the creator of Steemit and BitShares, which have more processed transactions than all other crypto currencies combined. He is a stud, the MVP of blockchain development. I have a  good share of $ invested in EOS because Ethereum is having trouble scaling, and EOS could be there at the perfect time to take advantage of this. However, I do not know how much it will be worth in 2018, if it replaces Ethereum as the dominant smart contract player, the potential is limitless.

Of course, no one could guess what the price is going to be. I think it's not wise to ask for investment advice on this forum. All indicators are green, the coin looks promising and hopefully the price will increase; I think nobody can say anything beyond that.

i remember that i advised my friend to put his all money in eos when its was trading for 1$ but he didn't listen to me instead he invested in a scam lending icos and he lost all his money.  542 million supply is too much but there is nothing impossible in the crypto world surely its price can hit to 40$ with that much supply if they develop their own blockchain

The developer is good and I have seen a lot of discussion of other projects building on EOS, but honestly its astonishing how much money can flow into a project that doesnt even have a working product yet.

Understand that these markets are more driven by hype and speculation right now rather than fundamentals and tech, ethereum didnt really skyrocket untill alot of developers started building on there platform ya know?

The technology itself is quite promising. But they organized sales so shitty that I have nothing to say. Now the price is cheaper than before. This is unrealistically stupid. They make people idiots, and developers get tokens and money. I'm just unreal in shock from these manipulations. I would not put my money there.

To be frank nobody actually knows the right answer. EOS was trading very low just some 3 weeks back but look at that now it is exploding so this might not be the good time to buy. But there is no coin with that much supply reaching high prices. Anyway this isn't some random shitcoin because EOS is listed on some bigger exchanges like Bithumb, bitfinix etc

Your question does not make sense. Nobody has a "crystall ball" to predict the future. This is why it is very important that you do your own research and take your own decisions. And you learn about investing and one of its key principles: diversification. I do have some EOS as part of my holdings since a long time ago, but it is NOT my only investment (I hold a basket of Bitcoin, Ethereum and more than 100 alts).

Here I agree with you. Opinion about this coin is ambiguous. People who bought a coin at the beginning felt like idiots, since with each passing month it was trading cheap. I do not understand this. Hard to say if the price will go up and on which scale, as crypto prices don't seem to be linked to anything concrete. But it's definitely one of the top competitors for the future of blockchain based projects.

Well here you have quite nice video what people think of EOS.    It is worth $5 billions. That is like some huge corporation. Liek 1/3 of Dell Technologies.   Things are so absurd here.

EOS is a good coin and has great potential in the future. I see EOS is now on the list of 10 best coins in Coinmarketcap so I think investing in it is a great idea because it potentially gives you big profits in the future.

Is there a better thing than 5 billion buggy blockchain right now? There's no. For me personally with 5 billions money and you can do anything and it's not only to develop the buggy blockchain, manipulating the market and create such a broken governance system.

EOS growth has been promising to investors. Yes i too have invested around $500 in it and watching the trend now. Just look at the chart in coinmarketcap. I'm not surprised by the Chinese listing it as a top coin because obviously they back it up. They went a complete U-turn but at from behind they have their own agenda, to have a coins like EOS. The amount of $ 5, a very small investment. If the limits of the resource where you will be purchased EOS allow you to make such a purchase, then invest quietly. The risk is small and the coin has potential for growth.

It is promising platform but peoples are expecting good profit so it is not comfortable to me because recently it was gradually down in the market so many investors are stay away in EOS investment. Personally, I have quite a large portion of the portfolio in eos. I think this crypto currency will go immediately after eth in the coming year.

This is a very cheap price and I believe the price will soon rise again in the near future. EOS is a good coin because the community of this project is huge and they have a lot of potential partners present. I personally would keep the EOS for long term goals because I am sure the 2019 EOS will directly compete for ETH's position or possibly become the best technology company.

EOS airdrops there are if you keep coins in your wallet, I can only call good two for the rest I do not use personally, Scatter and eos voter. Before using them, read the instructions. You're right,  it is better to do something and don't  just wait for it will go more dips and adds your losses. EOS is just have a good trend today and yet,  it is still didn't shows huge pumps this year.  Though some investors keep on believing but we should accept the reality that there is no assurance of getting profitable in the present market trend.

 If i were a developer I don't think I would like to pay certain fixed GAS amount just to develop up an app, look at crypto we are so early we desperately need adoption which will come for Dapps and Dapps are not very profitable and NEO has set up a certain amount that developer must pay for developing a dapp on it. I think it is stupid, as a developer i'd choose EOS with no fees any day. More Dapps= More adoption.

I generally invest to ethereum, neo or eos they all similar projects in my opinion. I dont think eos or neo can be like ethereum or can pass ethereum but they all will be successful so I trust nad invest to all this.
