Hello! I think for the new year Bitcoin $22000; ETH $780.
What are the forecasts?

Let's start with the question of which one is more possible. ETH at $780 is much more possible to me. But $2000 for the current trend of bitcoin is nothhing. It can even make it within hours while we sleep at night.

Both prices are possible for the new year. My personal expectation from ETH is hitting $1000 in the new year.

ETH - $1000 i think in january.

Ethereum will be probably over eight hundred dollars, i dont know, but i really think that it will reach those prices before the end of the year.

Well, i have some ethereum's right now and i think that we all are expecting to see it going up.

But for the other side, bitcoin is unstappable, tell me, is there something that is stopping bitcoin from going up? Of course that there isn't.

Bitcoin will probably be worth more than $23k or $24k before the end of the year.

For me, in think my prediction will be - bitcoin will reach $25,000 by new year and ethereum will also climb to $850.

Bitcoin rice is closely to the price of 20,000  dollars but it will decrease again at 19k dollars plus but it's okay. 22,000 dollars is very possible to happen because the price is continue to increase and for sure maybe it will estimate the price between 20k upto 25k dollars. For me the possible price of ethereum will be 1000 dollars and for sure you will earn a lot profit once you have bitcoin and ethereum in your wallet. Better to hold your this two coin to earn more don't sell it be patient is the best .

I think ETH at $780 is very likely. BTC at $22000 is probably more likely than ETH at $1000 though.

We see the price was nearly to hit $20k but it doesn't mean that the price can be continue to increase its value .. i feel the price will drop a lot after this month.. so if you are planning to buy bitcoins better to wait for a large price drop before you buy because you will be lose but if you are long term holder you can be still make profit but maybe for a long time if the price after the fall will still increase back and hit $22k price..

The probability of that is very high, I think that ETH will hit over 900 and Bitcoin 22-23k

It is too early to achieve a 22K USD All Time High for Bitcoin this new year. A market correction like 5 to 10 percent dip is expected to happen before going upto 20k then dip again to 5 to 10 percent then recovering fast like 22k in 2 to 3 months time. 20k is still quite high we never thought that bitcoin could reach that value.

22k for btc is not a dream. we should live in future.

 We have the same forecast range at ETH mine is $790  for BTC my forecast is around $20k,We still have two week before new year  and with the price movement in crypto market right now this prices are really achieavable, As of this writing ETH is now at $727 and Btc $18,494

I don't really expect its value now , i predicted it to be 20k USD before this year ends but its above my expectations now as it reach 22k USD. The volatility of bitcoin is the power and the investors are the source , the buying and selling is a big factor and we are the keys for the cashless society. Now i expected that bitcoin will reach 25k USD as early as january of 2018.

I agree your advice, the current price is really not safe for buying, we can look back when the price of $ 6000 dropped to $ 3xxx, and maybe this will also happen in the next few months

Really look forward for this to happen. I registered at this forum to see if anyone understands, what is going on, but I see a lot of confusion everywhere as to where the price will go and what actually will happen

Yes, now almost it touches the 20K mark and started correction already. Don't know how far it can go but as you said around 10+ % may correct means it may reach around 17K+ before again start going up. Many news channels are saying that there is bubble it may burst anytime soon but I don't think it may go down a lot. But now many new investors are invested in bitcoin and they are not familiar with these high fluctuations and if they get panic and start selling not sure where it will end.

I'm sorry but I doubt this and we shouldn't expect that there will be a major correction in the price like it drop at the half of the current price now. Yeah the volatility is high but let's face the fact that bitcoin had gathered more attention in the wall street and soon there will be more good news that'll affect the price. So better not to wait for that, maybe the $17k is a good entry point for those who wanna buy like you'll regret for waiting for too long and you can actually will miss the train.

Base on my calculation, BTC will be higher than 28K at the new year's eve.

Yes, I also hope Bitcoin will rise more and it will go to 22000$ soon.

I foresee bitcoin shooting to around $23,000 whereas Ethereum around $1100 on New Year.

I don't actually know the forecasting but i can predict that bitcoins can reach 20000$ by the end of this year i.e by the end of this month. But even bitcoins can go upto 22000$ as the rising speed is too high for bitcoins and also ETH has the same rising graph.

There's a guess that bitcoin will hit $40,000 and I saw someone said it can go at $100,000 but this price is too much for me though bitcoin can move bullish on 2018.

ETH can go at $1,000 on the start of 2018 while bitcoin can take the floor at $20,000.


Where's your calculation? How did you compute it? $28,000 looks good and we'll wait if this will happen.

Well, currently the bitcoin price is dropping while the ethereum price is increasing. we will see about that in new year, then.

I personally believe that with the increase in value of bitcoin, there will be a great effect on the prices of altcoins as well and we know that ethereum is one of the altcoins which is all the time following footsteps of bitcoin. The increase in bitcoin value will definitely push ethereum to 800 dollars at least. That would be nice for those who are holding ethereum because they are going to enjoy Christmas as well on peak.

We will have to wait, until the new year we will not have time to make 22000 $. There are no holidays and weekends for crypto-exchanges. It seems to me right after the new year, trade will become more active and then it will be possible to continue growing

Ethereum reached 780$ already and bitcoin is still in 16000$ range. I dont think 22000$ for bitcoin is possible before new year.

Price movement is getting slow now. I think the possibility of those both coins to reach that price you mention above is very small. But my expectation is both coins can grow.

For bitcoin, I don't think that it can get to $22K to be honest. We have been in this kind of corrections and the gain is not that significant to say the it can surpass even $20K or $18K. Whales have cash out already and most of them are not buying at this price rate. Only people that are buying are newbies that thinks that the price will go up in the next couple of days.

As for ETH, I haven't check the price chart yet, but it seems that $600-$700 is already a solid ground and it has been enjoying a great month as well, its been down for about 6 months and then suddenly surges in the last 2 months. So we just be thankful that the price really pick up. I'd say $1K but in the first quarter of 2018.

For this saturday I am expecting BTC price between 18k - 20k
I belive that on sunday night it will touch 20k and may be we can see 20k on first week of the new year much more.

This price now does not look possible as its already 27th today and price is hovering around 16k. So max we can see the price to rise would be in 17k range. May be in 2018 first quarter we can expect the price to cross 20k which will be first time ever crossing and making the new high. Let us wish for the best in coming year and keep investing in cypto currencies.

Well, i think those price is not so hard to reach. Hard fork tomorrow make the price of bitcoin move up. More people wants free coin from hard fork. And etherium also close to that price. I think they have big possibility.

it looks like btc is so easy to reach that price even more and then there will be a big dump of magnitude like early january 2017 the 13th bitcoin has decreased in price, I hope it does not happen because it will make the investors depressed. and for ETH is very easy because there are so many ICOs and startups that rely on smart contracts from ETH that will trigger ETH price increase.

We have 4 days left before the year ends so it's still possible anything can happen. The rate of increase is very slow but if it continues to go up by at least 10% daily we could see $22k on sunday. The only thing that would stop bitcoin from reaching that price if traders plan to pump an altcoin in the next few days.

Of course ETH can hit your target. But Bitcoin can not. There are only 4 days left to the end of this year. there is no good news for its development.

Well, the new year is only five days away and bitcoin is still selling at $15,000+ after the massive correction. and ethereum is selling at $730+

I like how people are blindly guessing the price, yes i agree that bitcoin will reach and surpass 22k usd, you dont have any evidence to accurately predict date and price, im GUESSING that bitcoin will reach 22k after chinese new year

I don't see bitcoin rising to 22000$ in the beginning of January but can happen in late January or at the start of February.But it is difficult to admit that it will stay there or it can stay stable.There are quite a few problems awaiting in 2018 and i have strong feeling that prices will start deteriorating in mid 2018 and fall would be significant.Fork is the biggest danger that BTC has to face in 2018.For me the biggest attraction would be the price of ETH and will not be surprised if it crosses 780$ mark also and stays there for long period of time.   

Wow, bitcoin price now is really amazing, it's is tempting to have The price. It's getting more expensive. So it is very good to hold and save.Then sell it on the right price that will  make us satisfied. Bitcoin now is getting well-known to all  bitcoin seekers and  savers. Bitcoin price is now getting famous because of the promising  value that can easily be able to reach.

Now that we're quite closer to the new year, I think we can make a better guess.
Eth might get closer to $780, its currently at $763. So I'd say it will remain in 760-780 range.
About bitcoin, 22K seems too far now, its at 15.6K at the moment. I think its gonna stay in the range of 15.5K-16.5K range during the next 3-4 years taking these to 2018.

I think it's quite impossible for now to bitcoin reached $22000 because the price isn't moving that much unlike before that almost everyday the value keeps increasing as I check it remain constant at a range of $16000 . I knkw many are still hoping for bitcoin to pump again but maybe if it will happen only later in 2018. Bitcoin is very unpredictable

Bitcoin price is trying to balance itself at $15k as the final price for bitcoin in 2017 and ethereum at $740. The next big thing is going to come in 2018 because this 2017 is already over.  

For me,  it doesn't really matter when the price is low or in a high.. But when it comes a pretty good price I should really take it for good. I take it for the granted how I wish before.

no ,  i think bitcoin will still drop hard until the new years eve 2017 because people are still expected to dispose their coins so that they can buy their needs (.eg gifts, groceries , fireworks , etc ) but for sure january 2018 will be a good year for bitcoin to jump start its new journey for reaching its new all time high and also all time low . etherium on the other hand will also have a bright future ahead and as of now eth is not merely affected to this holiday season dip.

About bitcoin, with the fork today, i dont see many bitcoiner interest with free coin. I see from the price move.

As long as it is possible, it is such a great news. But still im hoping that it would happen the sooner.

I think Bitcoin will grow until some huge ammounts but I don't believe this will be a long lasting process, some day it will stop and new cryptocurrencies will take their places.
I would think of ETH but maybe not only this, what do you think everyone?

The price is falling... people expect BTC to come as down as far of 10000 ... hopefully if this happen will allow me to make an smart investment :D

Off course there are some people who are afraid when the price of bitcoin is kept reducing and start selling them at low price in the market. So it is always good to hold as long as possible if you make profot on the investment.

As of now bitcoin value are suddenly going down, I guess it's because more people are shifting into other altcoins. However it was a good things to more capitalist because for them it is opportunity. Because when price going deep they can take the chances to buy a lot of stocks of bitcoin and wait it until to raising up again.

Bitcoin will not reach $22000. By the end of the year. But ethereum has the ability to grow by the end of the year and next year. I think bitcoin will remain between $15k to $17k.

Indeed, idea of  mate is best as the bitcoin price now a days are keeping less then 16k$ and new year is near after two days and i don't think so that in two days bitcoin price pump and hit such huge price. It will take time to hit 22K$.

It is possible that bitcoin will reach that amount by New Year or it could be the opposite as well especially now that the segwit that’s happening is not really supported by the exchanges so I don’t think Bitcoin will be moving that much although it had been stable for a couple of days already and the altcoins mostly depend on bitcoins price so we’ll see what happens next before the year ends.

$22000 is quite achievable for Bitcoin by the Q1 2018.

i dont think we will see bitcoin at that price during new year but maybe in february or march of 2018. The future for cryptrocurrency looks very bright right now, I am very excited to see what institutionnal traders are going to do

Well the amounts of prices are not too high for both of the coins as there is a probability for them to reach it within 1-2 days. If the trend will flow like this we can see both eth and btc on these prices after 3 days.

I think the price of Bitcoin will go no more than $19000 by the end of this year. There seems to be a lot of volatility lately and with the big gains we have seen all year, I think the gains won’t be quite as big in December.

I do think 2018 will be a good year for Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies as well. I think Bitcoin will eventually get to $25000 at some point by the middle of next year.

I don't think that it will reach the 22000 dollars cap you are saying by the end of this year, but bitcoin's price will surely surpass that cap this coming year, 2018. All other cryptocurrencies are hoping to pump and I hope it will really happen.

We are so far away from those rates right now, do not expect to see those prices before the end of the year because they are impossible to reach. Better to hope to  see the price at least at $15k before 2018, lmao

Well, bitcoin for sure will surpass $22k in 2018 and ETH probably be over $1k. by the end of 2018, price of one bitcoin be around $30k(i think it's a realistic and a possible forecast  :D).

I have no confidence that Bitcoin can reach $ 22,000. This is a very large number and Bitcoin can be reached. But Ethereum could reach $ 800 instead of $ 780 as you had expected.

I think the price is so far from the $ 22k price. well, rising to $ 20k alone might be a very good thing, but I do not think it will happen in the rest of the day this December. maybe next year, bitcoin prices can reach that price.

No,these predictions cant turn into reality by new year because the prices have gone down a little and now are at below $15000 and jumping to $25k in 3days is not at all possible but ETH can go beyond the expectations because it has shown sudden increase in prices within few days but in this crypto market predictions dont take time to come in reality so lets see what happens to all the speculations.

We all wanted this to happen but it seems the trend is telling otherwise.  It seems the high fee and delayed confirmation effect during Bitcoin peak were kicking now. The network really needs to be upgraded plus the circulating article about Bitcoin and quantum computers which had been an issue for years are als kicking now.  I hope for that rate but I believe it will be 18k less this New year.

There's still time. The price right now it's in a no trade zone, where you have to way because it's a coin-flip, we are in nowhere's land. It could go either ways now, either we go for a strong correction and capitulation of the latest correction to start growing again next year, or we shoot up with an huge green candle that could very well put us into a new all time high by new year's eve. There's only one way to find out, and that's to see what happens. The advice is obviously the default one: hold.

About the bitcoin price, i dont think it can be $22000 by this year. The support is still weak by this end of the year.

For bitcoin honestly there are lots of supporters but the problem the demand is low due to fee and panic selling happen before holiday..
And i think everything could be possible in bitcoin sometimes that bitcoin can be burst increase just like what happen before  and i was thinking that the price won't increase..
Bitcoin is volatile so we can not predict what will be the price of bitcoin the future..

Everyone expects the Bitcoin price to rise to 22k, but I really expect it to go up even higher and at a certain price it's going to go down so people should think about their decisions. :) :)

All of us are still hoping to increase the price of bitcoin and Ethereum and I believe It is possible to happen on new year because the price increases day by day.

Bitcoin will surely go higher than 22K but I don't think it can happen in another couple of days but it takes time to reach that range. Now Bitcoin is going through a correction and stabilising prices around 14K. Once if they find a way for faster transaction confirmation and reducing on transaction fee then its prices will fly again until that prices will fluctuate between 12K to 18K range.

You may be right, the price of bitcoin will reach 22000$ in the upcoming year for sure. But not with in this year. Now the price of bitcoin is reached the value of 14970$.So in three days, how much the price will reach. Right now that doesn’t look like something possible right now. Prices has gone down pretty bad and prices are far from $22,000 right now. There is only a few days left for the year and it would still take $8,000 increase to get to the target price. That is so far away and it would take a whole lot of increase to get there. Bitcoin and Ethereum have the potential to go beyond that price by January but it is much more possible for Ethereum to bag $1000 than for bitcoin to reach $22000. This is so because bitcoin is just surviving a fall in its price and will take a little while for it to reach that price. Ethereum on the other hand did not experience any major fall in its price and so has higher chances of bagging $1000 by January

I agree to you sir its only few days before new years eve and the price are stable to $15k I think it can never hit $22000 before new year bht I have a high believe it can hit more than in 2018 because its holiday season more bitcoiner are performing panic selling the demand now are too low compre in last few weeks when bitcoin hit $20k.

Ethereum is going to be above  $780 but I doubt if bitcoin is going to reach that value($22,000)  by 31st of December 2017 as bitcoin is currently below  $14,000. I think bitcoin is going to trade in range between  $13,000 and $16,000 for the time be. Many people prefer using Ethereum now because of the advantages it has over bitcoin In terms of fees and long time confirmation of transactions.

Well, as for ETH, your forecast is achievable, as it hitted 780 several times. But BTC should make historical maximum in order to achieve 22 k, I don't expect this is possible in 3 days

The current trend will end trust me and upwards trend will start in the new year. We will witness lots of positive price developments on the exchanges about bitcoin. For ether, the price is very very undervalued and it will surpass $1,100 easily.

At some point it is so sad that the prediction of $22k did not meet, but still a happy new year for all of us since bitcoin has gone so far and we benefited a lot on the high price, so there is nothing to worry about it, we still deserve a drink as a celebration for what we have earned, and can start the year with a great price.

In my opinion, Bitcoin cant get this target in January, 2018. It needs at least 3 months to recover. I will hold until March, 2018

i think this can happen because the price of bitcoin is recovering after dumping $11k, i hope it will soon reach $20k again.
ETH can reach $850 on January, 2018

Well, nothing looks like that to me. I mean BTC is still struggling at the 15K after the market correction was done. The news of segwit2x has mad everyone go crazy and they are not thinking about anything but juts saving up the BTC from being destroyed over the blockchain by converting it into fiat or other alt coins. The thing is BTC needs little more time to recover from this situation and I think this will happen in the next 2-3 months but not before that. I mean to reach the rates of 22K again it will need to cover up that 50 B USD market again. For now people are away from the crypto market and waiting for the new year eagerly. So I believe we should wait too :-)
ETH has already achieved the milestone of 700 USD ++ and it has to catch up even further rates so we should be tuned with it as well.

My estimates in the new year 2018 Bitcoin will be more and more interested in investing in the world of crypto especially Bitcoin, Because bitcoin able to defeat the appeal of other digital currencies, but also invest in BItcoin very profitable us.

We are stuck at $13,500 - $14,500 range, now for some days... still a no trade zone. I think everyone is simply out due holidays season and nobody is making big moves. It's probably a good idea to take a break yourself and wait for the christmas break to end in order to not stress about what the market is going to do next.

If you are going to trade, I guess do scalping on that price range. I wouldn't bet on the price going either way right now.

Currently BTCitcoin moving between $13,000 to $15,000. BTCitcoin price is very unpredictable because of its volatility. No one knows what price will it drop or up after this year. But we can only guess depending on what we want to happen. So I will just wish that BTCitcoin will go up to $20,000+.

Bitcoin will likely hit around $15k to $17k the year end and Ethereum around $700 to $800.

As of now, the value of bitcoin is $13,011.04 which decreased of 6.83% since yesterday. To be honest, I was curious why does the bitcoin keeps on increasing these past few days because I know that most of us here are expecting that it will keep on increasing by the end of the month but look what is happening right now. As the matter of fact, it's the opposite of what we are wishing for. As of now, I'm still hoping for the better result of bitcoin this coming year 2018.

Don't lose hope and keep believing in bitcoin because any day next year it will rise again and don't do stupid things like selling it now or else you'll be committing the biggest sin in your life. Bitcoin price is slowly but surely recovering so keep an eye with it.

Wow thats really a great wish to have a happy new year if $22000.Everybodys longing for that.l can really reach my dreams in life to become rich as a product of bitcoin.Not only me are excited but most if all our investors and savers.This is really we hope for and makr it sooner.

Can we already made the predictions like that for the New Year 2018? I'm persuaded that we will be the same wrong as this person was but anyway could we just dream about that? :)

I doubt this year bitcoin can reach even 10K. You can see from January to august 2018 there are a lot of bad news and attempts of regulation of bitcoins. All this thing have badly impacted the market.

In my opinion, that can be the best New Year’s gift by Bitcoin to its users. And I think it will come true because we have been hearing about the price will jump in December and many experts speculate their own values so it is a bit ambiguous bit will occur for sure. The current fall should not be regarded as a fall of the market because we have come out of the worst phase of Bitcoin. The technology is actually great and trust worthy to invest in.

We are suffering from such trauma since January of this year. We are still under heavy time but one thing I want to tell you guys, don’t let your heart filled with hopeless material. We are still defending the hardships and problems that are being created by our enemies. We will fight every single fud and we will stand again. Prices will increase to high level and good time must come.

I cant imagine how people use to think about the bitcoin. What is this? A too much excitement after seeing bitcoin reaching 19K USD and suddenly people believing that now bitcoin will reach 22K USD, LOLZ!

Thats funny, look at the market now, its not even 50% of ATH and still crushing below that line. Its funny to read how people are over excited about every situation of bitcoin.

No, should believe on it, because the last year of 2017, bitcoin was low price in this time, and till bitcoin proved that it could be done and we have seen bitcoin come at $20000, then why not in this year bitcoin $20000.   

When I'm writing this bitcoin is around 6300$ and Eth is about 280$ , That's unbelievable , And i'm afraid that for the new years eve bitcoin goes to 2200$ and eth 80$ ! Bitcoin dominance is increasing every day and it's not a good point for altcoins , I'm pretty sure that Eth goes downer , because the total supply is unknown, I hope we go back to that dreamy days that bitcoin was 21K again , God bless that times!

This was the prediction been made as at last year and we didn't hit that target. Since the beginning of the year, the market has been on a downtrend and this has caused the price of bitcoin to get to 6,400$ plus. With bitcoin ETF approved, I believe the price of  bitcoin would skyrocket very well in the future

Yes, now it is really great wish for every bitcoin users including myself. I am very frustrate to see it and now i am waiting it because i invested my whole money in bitcoin, that's why now it is my lifeline wish.

Hopefully this prediction will be come true so i can recover my loss. This target price look more possible than others prediction that said the price will going up to $50k in the end of this year. Bitcoin and Ethereum is the biggest crypto and with low cap will be have potential to going up more.
