Since the resistance at $20K was too strong, the price the price couldn't go up through the threshold and had to correct itself. I'm sure it will pick back up in a few days.

But here's the things that is good after dumping price it will increase again and for sure not the current highest price but the new highest price. But be careful because they bave chances the price decrease more so if you want to wait you can wait.

We are in a classic correction phase right now, it comes after the price has risen a lot over a very short amount of time and people tend to gravitate towards overbuying. This correction will stabilize bitcoin price at a lower level, and when it does stabilize for a period of time then another pump/dump will come. Rigth now i think since we're still in 2017 and the whole year has been filled with absolute bullishness, we're going to see a pump after this correction rather than a dump. Don't get too worried about it since it probably is only going to be just a short term thing. Wouldn't be that big of a risk to buy some right now to take advantage of the rebound, actually. $16500 compared to the ATH near $20000 seems like a reasonable buying point to me for sure, with all the big names flowing into btc. We could see bitcoin at $1500 half year from now and would not be anything unusual. After every bull run come Bear trend. It happens half year as it did in 2011 or whole year as it did in 2014. But what it matters that after each Bear trend comes time of stability and after that new Bull run. It is pretty obvious we will see huge bear trend in 2018. Question is only when and at what price will be ATH. And how long Bear trend will last and what will be lowest price of Bitcoin. Last Bear trend low was $177. Let's also consider that Bitcoin experienced a remarkable peak a few weeks ago that affected it's current state. It's volatility and sudden decline is normal, it will bring back the state of balance for Bitcoin. Just keep your faith in Bitcoin because sooner or later, Bitcoin would have it's rhythm back.

However, I would not be surprised, because things have changed and those who cashed out for Christmas may end up coming back to meet it at a higher price. The price cannot keep going up and at the same time keeping going down because it is a trade between strong bull and bear. The price cannot just go up, there are several reasons for the price to go up or down. Now it looks like It's stabilizing around 14K, but it might fall down to 11K like it did a few days ago. But I'm still very sure.. it would bel moving towards higher again, let's see by over time.. if necessary doing a re-buy, it could be add to the chances of earning a more high profits. May be you are right that due to Christmas the investment ratio decreased and due to which the price too but I am sure that in the next year its price will jump again and may it reach to 30000 dollars till the end of 2018. Let see what happens. We cant really speculate another fork or even huge events like countries joining bitcoin. Their are a lot of factors but those are mainly the simplest explanations.
