This is laughable. Although, I can understand if they are considered about disproportionate representation, as compared to being drowned out. I mean in the US House of Representatives, which is supposed to be a proportionate body, 52% of the people voting for a representative in the last election voted for the political party which represents 47% of the House, while 48% voted for the party that represents 53% of the House. All this succession talk is really people upset that they can't convince their fellow citizens of the rightness of their ways so they look for ways outside the democratic process to get what they want. It is the equivalent of taking their toys and going home. It is the nature of a republican democracy that the actions of the government are NOT what ever citizen living in the democracy wants. However, as we currently have in place, restrictions abound to protect that minority from undue oppression. If that is what they are concerned with in those counties, instead of being children they can seriously push for additional protections. They aren't doing that.
