With the steady declining of the price of btc, I think it will only reach 10k$ as the lowest point. Anyways, that is actually the predicted price of btc before 2018 ends and before the unbelievable increase of its price happens. But we still have no enough basis for this kind of speculation.

According to the market expectations and the distribution of chips, it is not possible to drop to 10K in the short term unless there are significant changes in the block chain technology. Bitcoin is up so much, these days the proper adjustment is normal.

Nope, I disagree with you. Btc will still remain in the 5 digits zone. There has been so much massive pump of btc price within days and for no specific reason, therefore this correction was bound to happen. I only need for it to be stable at a particular price now.

I really think there is a pull out that is happening right now from the recent investors and trying to manipulate the value of bitcoin because their real goal was to buy cheaper bitcoin then they will know when do bitcoin gonna go pump back again, And this is really not a new thing about the price of bitcoin because there is really a correction after a sudden bullish run.

No it won't, unless China wakes up and decides that it is going to have a field day with the market being at the point that it is. There would have to be a pretty sudden and consistent reaction from the entirety of the market to push it down that low but you never know what might happen with it if people are desperate enough to sell.

This is probably the result of the supply being heavily restricted and the market shooting up because of this, too much HODLing caused an unstable market situation which resulted in a literal bubble, and now we will have to wait and see were it is going to go. If all the casuals start to sell then it can go a lot lower too.

It's true that there's a price decrease in bitcoin but I don't think it's possible to decrease that much. But, if it ever did happen, then that's a good opportunity for us to buy and invest in bitcoin. That's quite and dip and once it surges back to 10k+, the profit will be worth it.

I fell in the chart and saw that BTC was worth 20000 thousand dollar. Now it has reduced to 14600. At the rate it is moving i can't predict which direction it will go. I did not expect the price will go this much higher, so right now i am just waiting to see witch direction it will take.

Price can't only move in just one direction. It will have to move in opposite directions otherwise only demand factor will play in the market. That way market price will stop moving at certain point.

Yes,.maybe bitcoin is decreasing its value, maybe the reason for it is that many holders are cashing due to holiday season. They need some money to spend it on that they (i must say i am one of them). But after this holiday rush, and bitcoin go to its lowest rate, there is this possibilities that many would buy bitcoin into its dip. And as the result it will go pumping again and gain much higher value. To tell you honestly, im a bit scared of the bitcoin's situation (decreasing situation) but still putting my trust and still believe in bitcoins potential to make it to much higher value in the year 2018. So still hold it for a while.

If BTC is going to that level then I am more than happy to hold it and will buy more during the correction and as far as I believe that Bitcoin is going to perform very well in the long run. Considering the super rapid growth that we have experienced recently, the network needs correction in order to stabilize the things and it will help for the sustainable growth in the long run. Nothing to worry about it in my opinion.

These kinds of post make newbies panic as it is really a bold prediction of what will happen to Bitcoin's price. However don't worry as this predictions are without basis which means theyvare just throwing darts in the dark. If it is true, the best thing we can do is to accumulate more Bitcoin and hold it as we now know that Bitcoin always recover from a fall even this big. Most of us here doesn't think that bitcoin could go below $9K. Actually its not only bitcoin that is dropping, almost all of the altcoins are also bleeding. Which makes me think that investors are getting and pocketing profits. This open a opportunity for a lot of people who have been waiting for so many months to get into the picture today. They can get bitcoin as a discounted price.

No one will know but if you're going to continue selling bitcoins most probably it might be dump into a $6000 to $7000 or even lower. Because the people already lose interest to bitcoin and its demand is getting lower. We all know that the law of demand and supply affects its value. Futhermore if that happens, still many people will going to used bitcoin because some people lost interest on it, some will took that as an advantage. Less transaction the faster the delivery same goes as the lower the value of bitcoin, much lower transaction cost. Thats why its very possible to reach downward value of $7500. We will see what will happen to the future.

It could go lower because the US government are almost pass the law that regulates bitcoin. Even altcoins are affected so better be ready for the consequences.

That would be a great day for the true believers in the technology. We will be rid of these speculators and price watchers and we will be buying super cheap coins at bargain prices. I'd probably cry if this happens but that's all  ;D I won't be selling since I know the price will sky rocket again anytime soon. I've known Bitcoin at the rate of $800 last year and look at it now. I have high trust for this certain coin that it will bounce back again together with all altcoins that's making the market red now.

I think Bitcoin exchange rates will drop at 10000 dollars. Will not drop to 7500 dollars whereas you predicted. I doubt it, there is too much support for BTC to fall that far, maybe $10k but I don't think it can fall further unless we enter a really serious bear market. I think $20k by years end is a lot more likely than $10k.

I do not think bitcoin drops and $ 7500. They sell bitcoin because the christmas is near, buy the necessary supplies. But after Christmas, the bitcoin came back to $ 20k +. In my view, $ 11k- $ 10k around it will back again.

Bitcoin has little chance to dips to that level. First Bitcoin must break the $10K psychological barrier, and that is going to be hard because it's a significant support, But If Bitcoin can't hold around 10K, then 9,4k would be next support which is likely to be easily broken if Bitcoin dips below $10K, the next support is 8K.

I think that is too low, BTC will reach around $11,000 settling at the same price it was at the beginning of December, before all the "Main stream" media focused on it and started the roller coaster of bullshit. I call it the "Big bang theory" effect. If that show talks about it, it has become main stream.

If a lot of people will listen to you then the price will really go down to $7.5k but I think that won't happen because we already believe that bitcoin will shine again.

Hopefully it comes down more and more for me to at least buy something before 2018 breaks records again. $10000 seems to be a nice stop for the downturn though upon seeing the order depth today, it seems like $13000 would be the last stop of this crash. Everything else is also read at this time so it's just normal that traders are cashing out for Christmas and New Year but after January onwards, things will start to get interesting again.

This was the correction needed as the price was gone high and again the sitiation of price manipulation is arising to buy at dip knowing that it will pump more in future which is not the first time.Asia pacific head stated that btc holders are moving to bch which is causing downfall but it seems its all temperorary as btc will remain king and prices are going to surge even more so just relax and be calm.

This is possible to happen but still i hope that bitcoin will recover from the loss price. I hope that in 2018 the price will continue to increase again and the bitcoin will continue to grow and i also hope that many people will take interest on investing here on bitcoin.

Bitcoin is just giving us a chance to buy more bitcoin so i think you better buy more bitcoin and hold what you have now because it will not take long it will rise again. It always happen so don't worry and don't panic sell, it will recover again soon.

I would say instead of selling grab this opportunity to buy bitcoin because for sure after few weeks it will pump higher than it has ever been. Bitcoin always surprise me with its increasing value and I am confident that despite this sudden drop in bitcoin value it can still manage to recover. Those who will be selling their bitcoin will sure regret it and I don't want to be one of those.

Everything is possible with bitcoin price but it's interesting how euphoria and enthusiasm goes down with every price fall and rumors without any solid ground are spreading like lightning. It's normal that price can't go only up without any correction and expecting contrary is illusion. Now it's the time for correction but that doesn't mean the worst scenario.

I think it's going even lower, I see below $5000 before 2018 and even lower after january:

* Japan is the major buyer, these guys are on huge margin so will be forced to sell when it keeps plunging like it does now, adding to the snowball.
* Hedgefunds have entered via futures, they're obviously short.
* The big whales have exited their longs (creator of bitcoin.com, creator of Litecoin, all sold 100% of their positions)
* People who tried to catch the falling knife are also getting killed, they will reach their pain limits soon and will sell too.
* General notion that Bitcoin has failed as a payment system is kicking in world wide. Come on, a coin that has $15 transaction fee, takes 10 minutes to confirm (so useless in physical shops), has extreme volatility (shops hate that so won't offer it), allows only maximum of 7 transactions per second WORLD WIDE, is even more expensive than an international banking wire ... That's a totally useless bunch of crap. It's supposed to be better than traditional banking but it turned out to be extremely worse.

Such a low value won't be reached at any instance. With the recent price drop I believed it won't go below $15000, but things went out of prediction making the price fall as low as value around $12000. This uncertainty nature of cryptocurrency makes people into panic and the same leads to drastic growth in technology when more people have trust over it.

I think you need to take into account the fact that there are new year celebrations and many people for sale in bitcoin, and this means that it affects negatively on the price when many users throw out on the market is a huge amount of coins.

Nah I always work with stoplosses, nobody knows the future so you have to protect yourself. I did lose most of the profit I made in the huge tank though, but that's the name of the game. I surely underestimated the FOMO based buy rage though, the crypto market as a whole is just 10% below its ATH, like nothing ever happend ! Right now I'm flat, waiting for another opportunity to arise. With this kind of volatility we'll have opportunities enough for huge moves, both long and short, that's for sure.

How can you say with that confidence. There's no way to predict bitcoin's price. Many predictor got failed. I won't sell my bitcoins even the price fall to 7000 i will buy some more coins instead. That's my thought but i believe the minimum point would be 10,000$ since there's no fork appeared yet and the 2018 is on the way which will make bitcoin more popular than before.
 

its your choice mate its up to you.  But for the sake of your profits you should sell now instead of holding buying while your profit decreasing also. Right now Bitcoin is at 15k up form the low of 12k a few days ago. The futures trading has created larger swings, but  Bitcoin will continue to rise.

I am not sure why you think that bitcoin will return to price of 7500$ , or maybe you have some information that are not well known. I am not saying that it is impossible, but with how things are going on it is less likely. For now price is slowly rising, and im not sure if i want to sell. I will wait a bit longer and see how it goes.

If he had something to justify his position he would have said it but since he did not gave a single reason for this then we can say that he is just trying to FUD or troll people, if he is trying to FUD then this is one of the worst attempts I have seen, the most effective FUD is in fact the one that has a lot of content explaining why he thinks the way he thinks and if there are bad news and a correction the FUD can be very effective.

I always believe on bitcoin price that will rise in the future. The price of market is started to rise today the question by having this is when or until what price it will heading to.

We can't be sure about that, we don't know how much would it still be going. Others think that it could reach a 100k next year. I hope that could be true.

It wont drop that much ,if you are really expecting that, then you are a pesimist guy.
It has already been going down for a long time, maybe more than a week, i dont see any necessity to see the price going down again.

Yeah right, The price have already gone down to 12k and is now expected to go up again. $7500 is an impossible conclusion to make. Its more like to hit 20k again when the new year starts.

Do you have any proofs or historical data to back up your claim or are you just one of the FUDders who keeps on spreading negativity in this community? Surely, there's no way to predict BTC price but this is somewhat expected to happen, volatile markets tend to go up and down drastically. Prices have fallen from 20k it doesn’t mean that prices will fall more, prices are already moving up because enough people have bought bitcoin and this thing has given bitcoin a helping hand to shoot its values toward up and sooner bitcoin will cross its previous record value and there is no chance about getting so much low at 7.5k and factors that can bring price to so much down are now neglected and ignored by people.

to date, the popularity of Bitcoin has greatly increased and I'm sure that the price sinking to incredible small sizes is unlikely. I think that below 10,000 dollars in bitcoin cleaner, because all the same soon will be another rapid growth.

People sell bitcoin because they do not even realize what they were really holding in the first place. Those who really believe in holding bitcoin are still going to be around believing in bitcoin and holding but no one knows if the value would drop lower or start increasing any moment from now, and no one cares anyway as long as we are holding for the long term and as long as one day, this scaling issue becomes a thing of the past.

At present, the bit coin is reduced in price.But this is a situation expected.This price drop does not last long. But 7000 $ does not fall. It will soon reach 20k. Still, the price continues to increase.Currently the bit coin is not the time to sell.

I would not want to wait for that long anyway before getting into bitcoin, as this present value may be the last lowest value anyone will ever see.

I think it is now safe to gradually buy some BTC. Money seems to be flowing out and in to fast moving alts like XRP right now.

Sell our bitcoins now? Did you do it first? I'm not going to sell now, I'll endure though it's hard to see the price of bitcoin now and it starts to be in an unstable rate of $13000 to $15000 I'll remain calm and will keep on holding it until it go back at $20k.

You made the right decision, nothing to rush it will come back. BTC will not go to 7500$, it will grow stronger in next years.

I also think that the money from bitcoin is going to XRP as well. But what do you expect? People are still making a run at profit before the end of the year. I'm sure that once XRP crashes, most of them will go back to bitcoin ecosystem. I will take any day the price of bitcoin above $13,000. No complains here.

Looks like this the 3rd or 4th thread that I see bitcoin being prediction to go down to $7500-$8000. I'm still trying to figure out everything so that it will make sense to me and see the price to go deep at this levels. But so far I can't find any negative news that will give this prediction some kind of semblance. But if ever the price really go that low, it will be a great buying opportunity for most of us. Those who have been complaining about they can't buy bitcoin because the price is too steep, then look no further, because its your time to shine. However, no one can really say for certain that the price could go at this price, for me $10,000 will be the absolute price before investors started to flock into the ecosystem once more. Let's see how it goes though, the market is really full of speculation that a single news will really turn the tide upside down.

The main concern is that everyone is free to state whatever they want to state and no one should really bother about whatever anyone is saying.

We do not know the future but one thing for sure is that there are some things that may not really happen anyway and there is something that could happen that we may think they never can happen but whatever it is, we sure know there is always going to be a good future ahead.

I agree that bitcoin will not go back to $7k but at the same time it will take more time to reach $20k it cannot be anytime sooner than the month of March because now bitcoin is going through correction and it would take good couple of weeks to recover the lose of value which has been incurred due to panic selling and transaction fee

Anything is possible with the price of bitcoin ,if the price goes down lower than that or near to those valuation,i am happy to grab it,there is no problem for me or anyone to get them at that price,in the past few times whenever the price goes down people start investing in it and grab the coin and that will happen with every correction.

It's starting to increase again, the price went up again at $13,660 so I'm sure that it will be back at $15,000 soon. The price will come back and this new year of 2018 there will be great addition to bitcoin as there are events that will strengthen it's status.

I think the bitcoin price will remain stable within 2 weeks. maybe a lot of people are on vacation, and do not do a lot of transactions in the near future. but, I feel that bitcoin prices will not drop below $ 10k.

Now it has been confirmed about the good charts Bitcoin is having as right now 1 Bitcoin is worth 15,200$ which is really a huge improvement compared to when it was price around 13,000-14,000$ level. The whales also have decided not to push the prices down more as to what they expected which is 7,500$, when that happens it will confirm a trend reversal and we might see Bitcoin go down from 13,000$ to 3,000$ but the good thing is it never happened I hope that this rally will be profitable for all of us.

At the moment it does not look like bitcoin will go under 10K. On the contrary, it seems to go up again. Bitcoin is around 15K now and it's going up and down around 13 to 14K, so it will take a while before the price will decrease to lower than 12K. Maybe later at the end of this month the price will drop to 10K.

Bitcoin to $7500 ?? No , i dont think so , the price is to small , its not possible to fall down so much, ok , it's possible, but I don't think that it's gonna happend , at least not in 2018. Bitcoin's value is to big to fall so down, from 15000  to  7500  , that's a long way guys . Yes , Bitcoin is falling down , but its not gonna fall so much , maybe to $10.000  , but just maybe it could rice again right now to 19.000 or maybe 20.000 , we can predict anything , the future is unknown.

It is already heading toward 20k mate the lower dip is now ended and bitcoin will keep on rising now and people have filled their wallets with bitcoins and all this go in favor of bitcoin now and chance to the 7500$ is now impossible because prices are now at 15.7k and investors are now holding their coins for the bigger piece of profit and there will be nothing now and bitcoin will hit 20k before the start of 2k18 to fascinate people.

That is really how I see it. He just decided to come here to open an account and then spread FUD for his own good so as to make some profit. I really want to see where that is going to get him and I imagine the number of forums he must have opened account to spread this false rumor. Anyone who decided to sell what they have for people like this who have been stealing from them, then that is their cup of tea.

They are expecting too much but I doubt it that will happen as the price of bitcoin is about to pump and has reached it's way back at $15,000. They want a cheaper price but all of us are doubting that it will come to that point that bitcoin will certainly reach that level. It's increasing for now as there are positive and good news that are being heard and read by everyone.
