Privacy coins.

The main thing about privacy coins these days is not about the tech but rather adoptability, which is one of the main reason why monero is priced highly up there. 

A lot of coins mentioned above actually have good tech but poor adoptability. How do you solve that? You need a good team and to be hosted on big exchanges.

i think right now iam looking forward to alot of coin for 2018. i think 2018 will be very great for the altcoin as well as bitcoin and whole cryptocurrency market will boom in 2018. in my list there are alot of coins like bitcoin cash has a huge potential and i think it will be good replacement to bitcoin and ethereum and electroneum is also in my list.

Electroneum. It's pretty new and sitting at only $0.10 right now. It will easilly 2-3x over the next few weeks. Keep in mind that there's 21 billion coins, so you can't really expect $30/coin, but I do feel like $1 or so is easilly achievable within a few months.

monetha and cindicator seems potentially good. but do not forget the bitcoin and ethereum, because I think in the next year will rise drastically just like this year.

I will pick Enigma, SONM, Wagerr, Boscoin is also one to watch out for after getting listed on exchanges, all these token except Boscoin are under their ICO price

Waves is the best choice cause it is going to be pumped in the first quarter of 2018 because of smart contracts release.

SONM looks like a good bet in my mind because they will release their alpha and also a new wallet. The team behind it are really hard working and I am sure they will deliver all their promises. But there is one thing that I dont like about this coin is the community because every time someone new try to join their telegram, the old members always love to troll the new guy, they will say things that will scare them away.

sys is still a coin I expect that its price will rise in the next year. Can not x2 like you desire but will probably be profitable 50%.

ETH, LTC, BCH, BTG, I think they are good coin developers. i never go to another altcoin. if i have another coin, i would rather convert to ETH or BTC, BCH, LTC. only that.

I like the way the private coins are going for the beginning of 2018. There are numerous options and I would assess the risk before going into each, If you're looking for something safer with moderate gains Monero and Verge have an established presence in the market but I like the technology of XSPEC. With a lower supply and relatively low market cap I think it has a lot more room to grow, especially with the rollout of new features coming very soon. Do the research and decide!

If you're only looking for 2x - 3x, I would say to go with ETH and LTC.  Both are safe coins that are guaranteed to go up in value in 2018.

coins of NXT will rise rapidly at the beginning of the year 2018 if in my opinion. It could even be doubled from the current price. don't obviously don't easily panic and hurry and have to wait.

My coins low cap coins are $LINX and $NETKO, DYOR

Litecoin, ethereum, bitcoin cash, and the NXT will be the coin up and generate a lot of profit in the year ahead. for bitcoin it seems will only be stable at current prices, and it was a chance for the other coins to ride higher again.

Many Altcoin are entering the new year powerful for this reason it is very difficult to predict. I think Ethereum is the strongest candidate.

For January, my top pick is Binance (BNB) coin because of their quarterly coin burning and the exchange is growing fast. My second pick for January/February is KNC because of their mainnet and wallet release.

XSPEC is definitely going to double or triple with the wallet being implemented in January with default ring sigs.  Maybe more.  It did just establish a new floor so you missed the REALLY early boat but it's still a great time to invest as it's bound to jump past two dollars when it's seen the devs are still producing code and the community has grown a LOT over the past few weeks.

Maybe bitcoin will go up again in January or February. other coins could have NXT, XRP, or waves, which will be higher up on the month. but it's only a prediction, the important thing always monitors the price of coins in the market.

As much as i wanted to speculate, i will try to avoid random suggestions of alts. I do follow my favorite developers on twitter and do research on what they mention/excited about. If i do like the project, then i will consider joining in its ICO. Anyhow, I am mostly excited about Aragon for the next 3 years.

My additional advise to others is not to sell your coin even if you lost most of its value, just let it be either 0 or 10x or more.  I have sold my NXT, ETH, and LTC prematurely. Missed out on 100x returns.

EOS will become the new game changer. It already rised pretty much since the ICO price and I'm sure that it will raise in the same way as ethereum since the end of 2016.

If you want to make that kind of profit you should really look to invest into an ico, not in a coin.
Take a look over Envion, their tokens are about $0,9 at the moment, once that they get listed, the price will go to $2 - $3 easily

I suggest Rise. Personally, I think Rise has a potential although lisk and rise have similarities but I still go for rise.. If i have to pick on the top 20 for best coins for January/February 2018 (excluding top 3) i will pick on Ripple (XRP), Cardano (ADA), and IOTA (MIOTA). They both have cheap market value but also have big market cap and they are on the top 10 in terms of market cap.

My modest opinion for some coins which seem less obvious and therefore are still relatively cheap.

1. Try one of the new bank tokens like Hawala Today (HAT) or Change Bank (CAG).

2. Put some money in eBTC which price is now still a joke, so ridiculously low. I had some from an airdrop and sold them waaaay too early, for which I am still mad. No budget to buy more now tho  :(

3. Despite all the fuzz, give B3 a try. Price is super low now because of recent problems but it's still actively mined, supported and developed. Right now still at 1 sat on CoinExchange.

4. Finally SYScoin. The sleeping giant. Those one will soon explode like Ripple.

Hm. 2018 is the year of pragmatic projects. There are many good altcoin for 2018. Currently I know of XVG and TRX. You should learn and invest in these 2 altcoin. I think it will fly high in the next few days. Also, if you want to make a safe choice for your balance. You should invest in ETH. In January 2018 ETH will reach $ 1000. invest now

Bitclave. Its price is just $0.21 now. very cheap for the good coin. buy it with a huge quantity and sell when it hit $0.5, you will get big profit

bitcore. weekly airdrops on whatever you hold in your wallet. right now its 5% per week. Every month it increases by 1%.

BTS and IOTA and BNT and TFL is the best ICO for this January and February. One more I would like to suggest all to invest in a newly launched coin that is CAPPASITY (CAPP). Currently, it is trading around $0.15c. This is the potential to go at least $1 at the end of February.

in my opinion a good pick for early 2018 would be ethereum classic, his price has been stable in the last weeks, it's a solid pick and will probably go to 60/80$ in the next monts. rumors says that it will be added to coinbase in the next weeks, a huge pump would come after that

For me waves is still a coin  that will pump like 2x or 3x more than now so just look closer at it and try to increase your wallet by investing in it.

Go for Oyster Pearl PRL because now it's pumping and while it's still cheaper then it's wise to invest early because it would probably doubled this month or in February.
Currently PRL priced $0.9 but soon it will hit $1 or even $2.
I'm lucky enough to invest PRL while it's cheaper and I'm going to hold it as long as I could.

I just watched some charts and you can pretty much just take random coin on exchange and it will go up like 10-15% in a day :P :P I think that the market is nutz at this moment... Don't know if it's better to stay away or buy in and see what happens :P

Waves and Ripple are my favorite coins before I was gonna make some trading before but these two coins didn't drop their values so instead I invest more into Oyster Pearl PRL coin and that's how I doubled my investment in this new coin. I bought 50k PRL while it's cheaper as low as $0.01 and now it hits $1 after 5 weeks so now I'm feeling lucky.

Oh I forgot to mention LTC and BTG among the big players. ETH hasn't grown that much either. At least not compared to BTC and BCH.

I think the new coins that appear will be the best coins in January and February. Moreover, if not the new ignis appeared, however, there have been many surprise everybody.

For pre sale in februari i recomend bobs repair. And for existing coin i think ethereum will be going up break the $1500 level in februari. Especially when the next hard fork happen. I also recomend genesis vision preparing for their apps launching at the end of march or april. Exscudo also good if they will be launch in q1 2018.

Viewly will solve many problems and I think it will be one of the best blockchain projects ever developed. Definitely register!

ICX before it hits other exchanges.  Already some big gains, but still a price point in its infancy.  AION and WAN (when available) should be solid choices.  I like AION for the lower supply... similar to NEO.  Lots of growth potential here.

Others include BRD, OST, MTH, LSK, LINK, WABI.  I think IOTA will surprise some people.  WTC deserves a mention.

WAVES has been sitting silent for too long.  But I think it has some serious upswing ahead.

For holding 2 or 3 months good will be waves in my opinion, just investing in it right now still has potential to just earn some.

It might be a bit late but i'd say ENJ for January! They're releasing their wallet tomorrow and there are many positive coming this month. I believe the best would be Minecrast pluging, this could be a nice one for quick flip.

You can try at Trendit. It is still on it's pre ICO and it's worth around .08$. It's the first social media platform that uses a rewards system to reward their users who are making social trends.

If you want to make 2x or 3x so you need to invest in new project but always remember that invest in high return always involve with high risk as well. So dont think about the return only but the risk too.

I am looking on ethereum for now, well if you see Bitcoin's graph last 2017 it was around hundreds of dollars and then started to rise and before the year ended it reach $19k. If you see ethereum right now, it's just like BTC, so in my speculation it will follow the steps of BTC and rise even further and I really hope that to happen.
I can't really rely on other coins right now, I failed too many times and I am done with it so sticking to BTC and ETH. But if I were to choose some coins, then there's something that catching up my attention, Ripple and Monero.

This month is going to end very soon, Syscoin team said that they will release their masternode v1 at the end of february and it's only less than 10 days, price is still very stable at around 6400 satoshi. Syscoin is now in the top 59 on coinmarketcap, I think there is a big resistance at around 8100 Sat, if we can cross this then we will go to atleast 10 000 sat in my opinion. Actually, I was looking exactly at coins below 8k satoshi ranges (below $1 at today), because I've a strong suspicion that many of these will push to $1.50 and even $2 once the spring bull run is underway. I am looking on ethereum for now, well if you see Bitcoin's graph last 2017 it was around hundreds of dollars and then started to rise and before the year ended it reach $19k. If you see ethereum right now, it's just like BTC, so in my speculation it will follow the steps of BTC and rise even further and I really hope that to happen.
