Prices are not stable, BTC will burst bubble or  fly the moon? ;D ;D ???

As I can feel and according to my study on bitcoin, there is no any other coin compared to bitcoin. this is very stable and most trust-able coin. sometimes prices may go up and down. This is the way it behave.

The fees will not be always high. There are many solutions, the lightning in the future, and for the time beeing segwit.
Use a segwit address, the fees are lower.

But after two hardfork, its fees have not decreased, so the BTC is increasing every day, whether the BTC is a sustainable currency! I look forward to the segwit!

The future of bitcoins will be even brighter than what it is today as the value of bitcoins keeps on increasing continuously with a small dip in the crypto market like in normal stock and share markets. Every day new bitcoin users are entering the bitcoin community and due to high demand of bitcoins the value keeps on increasing there only a limited number of 21 million bitcoins available after mining all the bitcoins still the value increases due to rise in demand of bitcoins.

Your thought is that for those with large numbers of BTC, as I only have less than 1 BTC, the fee is a thing worth pondering! At times it accounts for 20% of a transaction!

In my own opinion, if the transaction fees of the bitcoin will continuously goes high, I think there will be a great change to the demand of bitcoin. Maybe other investors will pull out in bitcoin and move in to other forks or altcoins. However, bitcoin has the potential to be successful, as what we have seen today. A lot of things that bitcoin did already eventhough it is in a passive way. Putting people in a good hand and changing lives of the people are one of the good contribution of bitcoin in our recent economy. I am always thinking that bitcoin will stay forever and it will not destroy by anyone.

BTC fees are impacting the small investors (like me), if you have a small amount of dust it's kinda stupid to move it somewhere without paying lot of money.
For example i have a secondary wallet with 0.01btc dust in it and guess what? when i try to move to another one it says not enough funds.. which it suck balls at the moment.
Not like i'm in need to move anything but well.. this suck on many levels.

The price has already fell and is right now more stable at $14,000 to $15,000 USD for more than a week. We can expect a new all time high anytime soon. This rise happens every time the price falls and is stable for a while.
When the fee increases people will be using bitcoin as a storage value.

100  bitcoin at the highest price (the ATH) would have been worth $1,960,000 or round up to 2 million dollar and that is only if he sold at ATH.

I see this is still the end of the year, so prices are unstable, and this is normal. many people think that this is just a bubble. even some go left bitcoin. but if they want a little patience. then bitcoin will give them a big advantage. just wait 2018.

I usually only deal with coinbase wallet users (like me) to limit the lowest fees, sometimes there will be no fees as it moves internally. But using a blockchain wallet is the most difficult thing to do!

the future of bitcoin will not be bright as expected if the fees were still increasing because more people will eventually switch out on to some other coins with lower fees and much faster transactions like dogecoin ,litecoin , bitcoincash , dash, etc. however i think it might not happen because devs are still planning to improve the current state of bitcoin like increasing its blocksize and at the same time reducing the fees on transactions. ive also heard that they are implementing the lightning network on bitcoin soon to be able to speed up any transactions.

fees are rising.
this can't go on forever. so far each time something like this happened, due to spam attacks, it stops eventually and things go back to normal and bitcoin survives. otherwise bitcoin will no longer be able to function as a currency and will lose its value.

as for bubble, it already burst when you weren't looking and it is over now. we are back on track for rising up again.

There has never been a time that the value of Bitcoin stabilized for good and we have to understand that since Bitcoin is relatively new (as compared to the fiat money we know as well as other investment tools) it will always experience volatility. With rising demand and limited supply, there is more chance that Bitcoin will eventually go up as they say to the moon. There is only one analogy that can apt described Bitcoin: rollercoaster! We have to be prepared for its ups and downs and must not get shocked to wake up one morning with 30% of its value slashed but on the other hand when it is doing a bull run the ride can be likewise so wild -- wild surges to the moon. You have to get used to its movement so you won't suffer some headache or heart attack.

I'm a little worried about the fees because fiat currencies aren't susceptible to the fees that were being charged the last few months. I think this could be a massive road block in the attempt of mainstream for Bitcoin.

although saying that we just have to look at the amount of people still using Bitcoin even though the fees are so high right now. That's got to say something about the future of the technology.

It will be hard for people to used if the fee keep on increasing, but some people still prefer to use bitcoin because a lot of place already accepting bitcoin, but the future of bitcoin is not as good as all of us predicted, the one is going to grow are alt coins

If the transaction fees will keep on increasing the same with Bitoin's price, there's a high possibility that investors will shift into altcoins with lower fees. Aside from the fees another problem for Bitcoin is the time fro the transactions to push through. The transactions now are much slower. If it will not be resolved, I'm afraid that it will be the end for Bitcoin.

It's been almost 2 weeks now that I am holding my bitcoin even though I need it for my personal expenses I couldn't avail to transfer them to my account and cash out due to very high transaction fees with this I came to the conclusion just in case transaction fees will continue to increase many people would probably shift to other currency that has lower fees and at the same time has an appreciative value like bitcoin

     I think the higher fees for bitcoin transaction is not stable,i mean it will change like the bitcoin price verry volatile. Maybe there is no problem if the fees are high as long as the value of bitcoin still higher also that we can still gain profit inspite of a higher transaction fees.

People now trying to avoid small transaction, even though they feel the need but due to high transaction fee people trying their best to avoid such small transaction, I think it will also effect the daily use of bitcoin for buying and purchasing daily use items. In my opinion, the way BTC goes up and down that is just it's own behaviour. Valuable wallets like Unocoin takes fees as it has to pay tax to government, in that way it regulates BTC so will not affect much if the fees increase.

Definitely,it would affect the bitcoin progress.Since transactions get struck,no one is sure about when their transactions would get confirmed and when they would receive their bitcoins and turn it in to cash.

Even when bitcoin price increases high,its benefits could not be enjoyed by the holder because if he has his bitcoin in his wallet,bitcoin price itself falls down before he sends his bitcoin and sells it.

I think too expensive a fee will hinder the development of bitcoin, in the future unless there is a technology to reduce the handling charge, this fee will lead to the collapse of the bitcoin bubble.

well i'm not happy o see these huge fees on bitcoin. I don't know how was some years ago , but man right now to send 2$ you need to pay an extra 20$ or something near so no thanks , I'm not gonna use bitcoin for a while. I think this the moment when panic will hit the markets.

The need to fix fees like yesterday and stop trying to blackmail us or people like me
will be screaming to the public who has not arrived yet to dabble with his $100 only
to find it costs $45 per transaction

You are right the transaction fee went to peaks, you want to withdraw $100 of BTC you need to pay $50 fee. This will make new investors do not invest in this bitcoin. Now what happened means suppose if we need money and we have bitcoin also no use we can't withdraw our BTC suppose if you withdraw it's a big loss for you. Don't know when this issue will solve.

both of this is possible for next year but i don't know what happen to bitcoin if the fees issue will happened for long term because probably people will find other way to decrease transactions fees as instead of bitcoin and use other coin such as ETH will be very possible even some people predict ETH price will goin to the moon for next several years

Bitcoin will always find a way to survive. That I am sure of. However, if the fees increase, it could make people to consider other options and that might not be good for business.

Currently, I find it easier to manipulate eth. Most new coins are using this as a basis for building their money! ETH may be a better choice for the future, with the same wallet but may contain more than one type of altcoin!

No one wants bitcoin like bubbles and explodes. From year to year BTC will continue to crawl up as you say up to the moon.
But we will find small stones and big rocks on the way to the moon. But all that will be passed without any problems. Is a natural thing if the transaction becomes expensive, because all follow the price soaring.
So do not be surprised if the transaction becomes expensive, but all of this will be resolved in the next few years.

With the kind of transaction fees it has at the moment,you cannot send micro transactions as it will be a huge loss but when it comes to big transaction the fees are still the same and i really hope that the network will be back to normal once the lightening network is activated and i am not sure how much time we have to wait till that is implemented,hoping for the best this year.

I think the future of BTC when fees increase is that it will go down its value because people will not use BTC for that reason. If there are regulations that BTC implements if how many fees you would pay maybe BTC will remain its value or even higher.

Hi there btc or eth! Due to the previous listing in major exchange, the price of bitcoin can't go further high. What I think is that, if the price did not swing by February, most likely there are more people will preferer other crypto like for example the ETH. In the notion of Bubble, I think it is not going to happed because the price is stable. You could even notice today that the price is slow getting its step upwards after it reaches the $9k bottom line. That is why most of the people are preferring segwit address to lessen those fee, just wait for a while and soon you will see. ;)

There isn't going to be a future for bitcoin if that really happens, just consider it as a lost case.

But yes, if they get lowered (just like it is happening right now) everything will keep going just by the same way as it is now. But the LN is going to get implemented soon.

The fees are only going down because of segwit and lightning network. It's just too bad so many wallets do t support segwit yet, when it's apparently easy to implement and people that have done it are seeing a huge benefit. People don't like change and once they learn something new they don't want to relearn it. That's the biggest hurtle to overcome.

I agree, lightning charges the game for bitcoin. Problems around transaction fees and times will be solved. I find it really hard to see any future for Bcash once lightning is widely adopted

It is inevitable that bitcoin's fee will increase eventually as its market price are also increasing all year long. Only those big transaction could not feel the high fee of crypto exchanges impose and the small transaction can feel it pretty well. If that continues, i think, more and more people or investors will lost interest of bitcoin that can cause an bitcoin to be stagnant or even drop gradually.

If the fees increases, it will affect the whole bitcoin community but the most affected are the people who hold smaller quantities and the people who just started joining it. Instead of maximizing our profit, the increase in fees will slow down our progress.

In my opinion lightning network will relieve pressure on transactions by a lot in future making fees at least 10x lower.
I am aware that 10x lower fees isn't enough (especially when price continues to increase, then a coffee might be 2000 satochis only), but its a step forward to open bitcoin to new users
and we will have some spare time to continue development for further improvements.

Fee does not rise You need to know actually regarding bitcoin fees can be set as you want ,either 10,000sats or 5000 sats bitcoin will remain like this with unstable prices and erratic fees and prices are now experiencing noise until early february like weather I think

For me there's no need to question the fee here in crypto even it's high another thing this is for fast and sure transaction mostly good for someone that need to transfer in other country like if your family member work abroad,i think some person here don't really know if you do transaction all over the world that's why they problem it,Even we have fees like 10% to 15% in the money that we transfer here i will still use this to transact because here is more conveniece than others.

This is what is most likely to happen when fees skyrocket with the prices because it won't be useable anymore unlike what satoshi had imagined it to be. But if the promise of the lightning networks really does come to life and get implemented, then we can expect such a huge increase in price later on after the implementation. no not all of them will be tired in bitcoin even if the fees were too high but as long as bitcoin is still profitable there were still people that are going for it and also most of them doesnt actually use bitcoin as a form of payment method rather they are just using it as an investment or for trading in order for them to earn a profit however some people that using bitcoin as a payment gateway are now slowly moving on to some other types of coins like the ones you mentioned above in order for them to avoid  high fees and slower procsessing time.

The investors itself will burden in this expenses once it will increase resulting to a low demand which may leads to a lower market value in the market.

I think in time the fees are going to rise everytime Bitcoins price will increase as well. It’s a matter of equality wherein they adjust the fees according to Bitcoins worth and it has been that way ever since Bitcins price soared high so I am already expecting in the future that fees will get higher even more as Bitcoins price rises even more too.

Yeah first thing that usually comes to mind is new block higher mining difficulty... higher fees.. However the future of bitcoin doesn't involve higher increased fees in fact after lightning network is realized the fees will be even lower which would impact bitcoin in a positive way and steam and other sites that stopped accepting bitcoin due to its fees might reconsider. Lastly I feel like after the end  of this year or at least alongside the release of lightning network the number of segwit transactions would double if not.. triple!

My only problem is the increase of transaction fees. And if it continues to increase, many people will resort to dealing with another cryptocurrency with lower fees such as Ethereum. And to be very honest, that is likely what will happen in the future in case that problem is not solved.

I think Bitcoin transaction fees will be gradually high. Bitcoin demand is expected to be a huge change. Many people will be interested to invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin will be used all over the world. When the price of Bitcoin increases, the country's economic development will be.

I think the issue of high fees is a set back when it comes to accepting bitcoin as a currency to be used in daily buying and selling. If there is a way to make sure that the prices don't go so high when demand goes high then it will be good.

If fees are increasing then that means transaction volumes are increasing which in turn means bitcoin value is increasing, I think bitcoin will be just fine.

Fees were below $0.01 for most of Bitcoins life but the greedy miners put fees up to $55 and word got out so
joe public ran away and won't be coming even if the fees go back down to below being a cent.

Some people thinks that BTC is a bubble and it will burst soon because they are much offended with that fluctuation in the valuation of BTC, they are not stable and I guess there is nothing to get offended because it's not the volatility because of which the valuation fluctuates, it's because of numbers of people investing into BTC and the big whales that regulates the market, BTC has a very bright future ahead, so one need not to worry and should invest into BTC.

I think bitcoin's current transaction fee is quite high. And the daily transaction amount of the trading floors has been quite large. So if I continue to increase fees, I think that this market is difficult to develop.
