On May 8th, Concierge announced a rebrand to the name Travala, along with a planned migration from the domain concierge.io to travala.com. Travala is a travel booking marketplace on the NEO blockchain, aiming to be the first decentralized, trusted, zero commission travel platform.

In a post on the Travala subreddit addressed to the community, the Travala team stated that the rebrand is something they have given considerable thought to over a long period of time. Whilst operating under the name Concierge, they had tried to secure the concierge.com domain name which was not in use at the time. However, a “multi-billion dollar company” was able to acquire the name first. This led the team to reconsider their branding, noting “To move forward and become a truly global travel brand that would appeal to everyone, we’ve always believed a .com was essential to that goal.”

Travala was chosen as it is a “it’s a unique and very travel-oriented, marketable brand that is easy for all nations and languages to use”, and the team have already started rebranding their social presence.

In addition, Travala will be changing their ticker symbol from CGE to AVA, and will be distributing AVA tokens to CGE holders at a ratio of 1:1. The total supply of AVA will be 61,571,086.

According to Travala, the AVA token will be listed on Switcheo soon after the distribution, allowing the team to keep its original promise of listing the token on an exchange within one month of the conclusion of the token sale.

Travala has warned users that there may be some downtime over the next few days whilst migration and testing is underway, but will provide more detailed updates as this occurs.

Hello. Thanks for your message and support of the project. We actually accept over 40 crypto currencies as payment via our payment partner Coingate. The reason NEO is not used as a payment option is because the token itself is not divisible meaning it can only be used in denominations of 1. Gas is the utility token of the NEO blockchain and is far more suited as a payment option. We will be adding payment in Gas to the platform soon.

I think tourism projects are heavily affected by Covid-19 and it will certainly be difficult to recover if this situation continues. I never want this to happen, but we can't do anything else and hope that Travala will have a strategy to restore it all because it's a very good project. Of course, I used to use the service here in the past, but now I hardly use it because I'm no longer interested in traveling abroad.

Yeap this is good news and I have a small bag of ERD ready for staking. I plan to join Travala and get all my friends and family to join to try and support it. I have seen a place in my country for rent for holiday let, so next year I might book it and surprise my parents with a free holiday. Today TRAVALA is listing on Probit exchange and is also going to be having a KRW pair as well. It's usually quite hard to have a native currency pairing but this will entice Koreans to buy it as well very easily. I do hope AVA gets into the top 100 CMC over the coming week but looks like the price might have settled at around the 1.50 USD mark which is still very good. I bought in between 1.02 and 1.42 dollars and will just hold long term and keep my smart locked so i can get the little discounts and the nice 1% a month staking gift. If this ever gets to ten bucks a token, my 50 bucks a month once a year will be able to pay for a small vacation.  :)

Probit is not a good exchange due to bad IEO listing their and the volume of that exchange is mostly fake. While AVA already have active trading pairs on some good exchange than I would suggest to stay away from this exchange when you have good choices available.
