I bought litcoin Last Feburary when it was only a little more than 4 dollars. and it is now about 300 dollars. what is your most profitable altcoin speculation?

I think you can have high confidence in the profitability of IoT Chain (ITC) and SpectreCoin (XSPEC).

Both are currently extremely undervalued, ranking in approximately 180th on CoinMarketCap. But both have huge potential. The newly-created IoT Chain (the IOTA of China) aims to tackle the problem of security in the Internet of Things, while SpectreCoin is targeting the position of #1 privacy coin with some impressive innovations. If either of them come close to their targets, then they will have delivered massive profits.

Congratulations on your LTC investment though. I'm open to hear more investment ideas.

I made some good profits on ETH, XMR back then.

But if I just hodled Bitcoin, I would have more money right now :D

Right now I think good coins are IOTA, EOS, OMG, ADA, BTC, ETH. They have a promising future

Congratulations for buying litecoin when it was $4, for me waves is my profitable altcoin sections, I have a lot of waves and bought it when it was trading at $3 level and still hoping that it will reach a three mark level, this is one coin that is well managed.

I also think these 2 coins going to give huge amount of profit to holders. I can also add xtrabytes to this list for 2018 as I expect to see something like 10x. On the other hand I think sonm did very good.

OST has a strong team & is delivering on its promises. Seems to have a bright future.

If you invested it into Bitcoin no matter how small the amount I know you'll getting more profits than Litecoin but so, you invested in LiteCoin and I assume that you're very lucky on that turning $4 into $300 today and I'm happy for you.
Investing any Altcoins last February or last year is the best decision you've made in your life. It's like keeping your money into the bank but with higher return of investments.

i invested Oyster Pearl (PRL) last early November right after their ICO ends and I bought bulk amounts of coins while it was dropped as lower as $0.003 than today the price hits from $.50 to $80 so I know I'm getting good profits and I'm going to hold it until it will reach as high as $2 per coin so that I can finance my wedding soon next year.

it definitely is Litecoin for this year alone.
there has been a lot of hype surrounding LTC and it had a lot coming towards it with all the other altcoins getting pumped, with it getting SegWit, and all the rest of the things that came after SegWit. the LTC pump was one of the most obvious ones.

of course there have been lots more pumps bigger than LTC, like the XRP pump (the first one not the current pump) but they weren't as obvious in my opinion.
hopefully i can get at least another one of these next year too.

I have had so many speculation one of them is xmr i had bought at $30 a couple and still holding it. I feel the price is still low it is really good for the future.

Second investment is obviously btc it is obvious for everyone the profit amount is more than 10 times.

Thirdly is a very recent investment which is ripple i bought at $0.2 and if i sell now i can easily get 12 times the profit.

Bought NEM at 0.002  :) OMG at .5 and XRB at .3

My profitable altcoin so far I had bought some oyster pearl, rdd coin. I have bought rdd at 27 satoshi and Im not expecting to increase the value lately. It hit the 117 satoshi or more and oyster pearl luckily I hadbought it at cheap price. I notice oyster pearl was already listed in other exchange so for now I hold some.

I bought 19 "darkcoins" years ago, forgot about them completely and found them on an old hard drive a few months ago. Paid $1 each for them.

If you are unaware, darkcoin is now known as Dash.

NEM is the most underated. It just steadily keeps rising without people even noticing. It will be the best investment for 2018.

I bought a ripple when it cost 4,200 satoshi and now sold it to 15,000 satoshi. This is the biggest profit I got from trading alt coins. This is my most successful transaction

So far I have not had gains of such magnitude since in this business I have learned that the high volatility and uncertainty of the market can be very profitable in short-term strategies, and I have seen that many people committed to hold certain currencies in the long term, have ended up losing money. But in my case maybe the best speculation I made was when I bought DeepOnion at 7000 satoshis, and today it's at 60,000.

My most profitable speculation so far is when I bought Ethereum way back 2015 when it was selling on 1337 eth per 1btc,  I sold it when it reached 200$.Too bad I have sold them too early but still I am glad to make a good profit on ethereum. Another  profitable altcoins speculation I made is when I have bought litecoin last new year. Now it's price is sitting around 300$ and I have sold it recently. Too bad I have only invested a little on it.

I did well with ethereum too but Ive found that NEM is a much better investment at it's current price. It has a lot to offer and will be the fastest blockchain in the world once catapult is released. It will be ready for world adoption unlike ethereum.

there are many project at ATH now, so its hard to tell which one is a good invetment

My most profitable altcoins are the etherium , litecoin , storm , ripple , waves . Those altcoins that i hold is for a long term profits. Most altcoins that i hold are from airdrops and the others are from exchanges that i buy. And i am looking forward this coming year that all my holdings are going to rise in their value to make more earnings and make more profits .

Most profitable ? I think that is depend on the situation and the market by the time goes by. You should know that it's always changing all the time. But I can only give some hints if you ask about the best cryptocurrency at the moment. In my opinion, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, and some other new Altcoin are the most profitable ones. But I'm still uncertain and unconvinced with the new Altcoin. Many new Altcoin can earn a lot of profit in a short time, even more than Bitcoin. But we do not know about the development of the new Altcoin in the future.

I cant say that i have most profitable coin yet, since im still holding and did not cash out any, but my highest gains were from Cardano (ADA), and Intense coin (ITNS)

for me, XEM and DASH.  I have been holding them for years :)
$CVC has been doing ok for me as well, got it from ICO.

I don’t have that many huge profits yet but my best was nxt, which I bought for $0.11 and sold for just over $1. I’m also getting ignis from the airdrop so hopefully that will add to the profit.

I think Wanchain & ICX are going to be the biggest ALTS to Hodl for 2018. These are not flippers, these are Hodlers for certain. Korean Blockchain and Wanchain will compete with Ripple. Remember this post when we hit Fall 2018, you will see. I also think XMR is amazingly low priced now, for what it is.

Well the most profitable Altcoin for me so far are DASH, NEM and a few of them. Currently I involve with a Project call Novablitz.

Lisk NEM and Ethereum

Ethereum ,litecoin,ripple , trx ,xrb. These are my top five altcoins were i invested 50% of my bitcoin.
Im sure they will give me 5 to x10 profit by next year,  ripple is where i invest most of my money.

Coins that I owned that's profitable for me are Oyster PRL and Clout.
They have a good backend company, developers and community unlike some coins that I owned, they barely hit Cryptocurrency exchanges so the value isn't that much stable.

Top Altcoins are indeed profitable so that's why we're holding it as long as we could because they're increasing their market capital values and coin price.

Ethereum although jumped down into 3rd place next to Ripple but it is indeed one of the most profitable coin not only this year but in the following years. I still hold my Ethereum coin for two reasons, one is to wait when it pumps again and two it act as a stash that is some of my favorite low priced coins price will decrease then I'm gonna buy some more.

Dopecoin and Eos

Same here ethereum is the coin most profitable. Yes the price is currently increasing still when you invest then hold next year you get big profit on ethereum.

my most profitable altcoin speculations are so far iota, mod, eos........... unfortunately i reduced my amount of coins like xlm and nxt to early and did not profit so much from their growth

We have seen a couple of coins in 2017 where you could have gotten in with around $1000-$5000 and be a millionaire now. Neo is another.

I think many people in crypto make the mistake tho to go in projects that are already high. Maybe most people are just too lazy or dont have the time to analyze and look at coins below the top100 at Coinmarketcap :)

I just made around 4000% (*40) on Verge. My reason to get Verge at $0.005 was it looked good, was promising, and not so high as Monero and all the other privacy coins. I always like to buy cheap and early. Not get in AFTER a *50.

I made a similiar profit with MonaCoin. It was *40 at some point, tho now its more like *20 which is still great and I will keep holding it because its the japanese bitcoin and been around a long time, and will not go away, with still good potential tho not for *50 or *100.

For 2018 with new government restrictions coming, I think the future is privacy coins. I now put the biggest amount of my portfolio in Colx because its a mix of Raiblocks and Monero/Verge and still low and not on the bigger exchanges yet. I can see this going *100 in 2018.

I dont think any of the top100 coins (that the mass invests in) will be able to gain *100 in 2018.  Except of course if bitcoin gains *100 too and goes to $1.2m


Yeah that is usually the story. See something promising as Waves. People were hyping it all of the time a few months ago. But all Waves gained since then, when it was $5, is basically the adaption to the bitcoin rise since then. So people have not abandoned waves but for *50 we are probably too late. I still think there will be new coins that bring better features and will get a lot of attention and PR. Bitcoin may not rise to $150k in 2018, which would "only" be *10 anyways if it continues its rise of 2017.

I think Bitcoin may actually stay at around $15k which seems something nobody ever considers. Everyone always says it will crash. Or it will go to $1m. But even more realistic i think is bitcoin finds a price and stays around it, and the market will shift more in altcoins now as public awareness for altcoins rises, they have better technologies, features and potential like energy efficiency and anonymity as Colx.

Governments might use the high energy costs of bitcoin mining to ban it, I see this as quite a huge risk for the near future with lobbyists of banks, wall street and other financial industries pushing such and similiar points to politicians.

I bought some ripple when it was very cheaper now it made huge price bump but I really don't expect this much profits from ripple so I invested very less on altcoins.But bitcoin gave me very good profits because I am holding bitcoins since 2016.It made my life richer and I think it is time for altcoin investmentt too I so I am gonna invest big amount in the following coins like ETH,XMR,XRP and litecoin.

Bitcoin at February this year was below $750 but as at December this year went as high as $20,000, lisk was around $0.50 in May this year and it is above $22 as at three days ago,  stratis was around $1 September this year but above $13 today and Ripple fall below $0.07 and went above $2,2 yesterday. I think we really have a fruitful 2017 across all the cryptocurrencies and my prayers is that this should continue.

Monero is still undervalued in my opinion, I think it deserve higher price in the future.

Till now I have experienced many good speculative trades first one is bitcoin trade done before a few years back when it was trading near $107 and at that time I invest around $1000 and after that I just exited that trade around $1200 and after that i invested $100 in Neocoin when it was trading near
$9 and i am holding that trade and expecting it to go around more than $100 soon in coming months. This all depends on one's belief and Gut feelings whether you need to hold that particular coin for good returns or not otherwise it's not possible to hold if you are a emotional trader.

I bought Neo for $ 1.5 and sold when it cost $ 40. At the moment this is the most successful deals for me.
Let's see how the situation will develop! maybe in the future there will be many such deals 8)

The most profitable altcoins of last year - EOS, CAPP, NEO, OMG, ADA, ETH, VERGE, STRAT.
CAPP made crazy x20 growth in January !
NEO grew from 1$ until 170$ - x170   8)
VERGE - x20 !
i hope next year will spoil us at least a little.

My most altcoin speculation these token :
1. Cindicator : i hold my cnd which i bought from ico price : $0.01 and selling it @ $0.10
2. Dent : i bought token when its ico $700 for 1 million cnd and get $15k whrn its spike.
3. Genesis vision : i bouth gvt at its ico at $0.70 and selling it at $20

Now i am putting money on savedroid, auctus and repux let see what happen to those ico in this crash.

That's great my friend. Read many discussions about alts,btc and ETH dying and yours was good news. Its just proof that despite the crypto market crushing, you can still have profits out of other alts. That's why we must diversify. Not just put our investment on 1 basket alone. Congratulations!

thats good. basically if you bought anything in early 2017 the profit is huge. These kind of gains might be a thing of the past (i hope not though) I wish I had got in as early.

I do not count how much profit I get when buying an altcoin. That's all because I always take quick action when profit margins occur. So I did not wait too long and I did not get too much profit. in my mind that when I can gain momentum to make a profit then I will do a sell on the spot. I am not a person who is too patient to wait and I prefer to get a little profit and I think the security that I get is much better than I wait and then the price decreases.

on oct 2017
after ico end , and lot of bounty participant already got their payment.
i put buy order on etherdelta.
about 1 eth , and i get about 2k INXT.
then i sold all of my INXT on christmas.
with -+ 10 usd each.

I think so far out of all the coins I’ve hodled up until now, XEM would be the most profitable altcoin I’ve ever encountered and gain. And it still is up until now, this coin never fails to amaze me. And I think it will still continue to grow over the months and years to come. I’ve seen on our local news one of its head members in our country who was interviewed about the coin and what its usage and purpose is so I think this coin will go a long way because of its full supporters.

most profitable speculation for me its capp, xrp and kin which everyone did x20 and more. It was a good 2017 year. Now we are in the big market dump and this coins is gooing to hell. Hope in this year we will see a big cryptomarket rally again.

Neo and cardano is the best coin that can make x10 in the next couple of years. You can add to the list and stratis, but this coin is for the most dedicated.

In addition I suggest to add Neo, Eth and Xrp as these are promising altcoins in the market in terms of profit. These three will compete the risk of altcoins in terms of profitability speculation.

I think I have had 9500% gain with Verge...unfortunately just for small money :( Sold everything long time ago....

Etherum and i still regreat that i didn't invest cause i said that from 200$ it will get easy to like 1000 or more and it done it, i wasn't suprised i was only angry about my decision.

No doubt that would be THUG Coin, they are very cheap right now and will definitly moon in 2 years as a long term investment. grab them now as they have a solid vision and would prosper in the future
