I would say that the price of this gas is in accordance with the current movement.
Gas is supposed to be the constant cost of network resources/utilisation. You want the real cost of sending a transaction to always be the same, so you can’t really expect Gas to be issued, currencies in general are volatile.

Ofcourse we arent happy with the gas price,but thats how the tx works we need gas for the eth transactions.

Currently I will say yes, and if you are doing urgent transfer and during the peak traffic please put more gas then you will not get disappointed. Ofcourse we are not happy.im so very dissapointed because of high price gas the ethereum is clogging traffic that is so insane.i hope ethereum back to normal and i can deposit and withdraw again with past and reliable transaction

Well, i can say that the gas price has increased. But that is not something to be sad about. Since it is completely normal even real gas increase in price sometimes and decreases. At least gas for ethereum related transactions aren't like or as big as the transaction fees on bitcoin and also do not have confirmations that are as slow as the confirmation process of bitcoin. In fact, can even be cheaper and faster if you know whem to make transactions on the eth network. So don't worry too much about the gas price for ethereum for now. Worry when it reaches amounts like on bitcoin.

Are you joking? This price is absurd, and Ethereum is following the path of Bitcoin towards the non-usability because of excessive fees.

Vitalik the main person behind eth posted yesterday that the eth network is congested and transactions are at all time high, i hope with the upgrades planned soon the eth congestion issues will be resolves and it will be quick and cheap to transfer eth and its tokens.

Of course not happy as I enjoy the low gas fees of ETH since before.

I think gas price for the service Ethereum provides is ridiculous. Unfortunately most promising ICOs running on that platform. I believe 2018 is the year for blockchain 3.0 to take over. Exscudo is entering in the final phase of testnet. Developers of the product taken care of solving all the solutions needed to provide a platform for new start ups. This is the year for EON to shine.

I do not really like the current state of the etherium network. Although on the other hand, if you look at the bitcoin network there is still much worse.
Sooner or later you have to pay for everything, then the technology will have to pay the commission.
But I think the developer will have to come up with something

Even though there has been a relative increase in gas price i do believe that we should be still thankful that it still only takes away such a small proportion of ETH away from us. Let us all hope that these gas levels don't get to what the BTC transaction levels are now.  :o

Nice dream honestly. All the people invested money in ethereum's competitors are writing the same things on the forum whenever one person intended to blame ethereum for any reason. Keep it up guys until thereum reaches $10k. That's nothing but your dream of getting rich with the tokens ethereum competitors.

Those so called competitors are even using ethereum's ERC20 protcol, just funny.

Obviously no one enjoys the high price of ETH right now as well as the transaction delays. It is inevitable as long as the coin goes higher.

ETH gas as of now still high for fast transaction should be 50 Gwei

I am fully satisfied with this gas price. We require more gas when congestion is there but normally it change very low gas fee.

You know, bitcoin at the first place had a tx fee under 1 dollar and then it keeps moving up (with btc price rise). I can see this with eth, let's say bitcoin become 1M/btc and eth 10k/btc. the price for gas will become enormous when that time comes.

I think yes I'm happy for now because if you want a fast or quick transaction you should add more gas to from traffic for me it is the easiest way for transaction. Goodluck

I am very unhappy especially of using etherdelta. It is very slow even I use 50gwei for transaction. I am waiting for Raiden to finish their code to add faster and cheaper transactions...

Paying high prices never feels good. I also have paid high ETH gas prices because the transaction processing is getting slower day by day, maybe due to heavy traffic on blockchain. At standard gas price, transaction is processing very slowly. So every one is paying high gas to process transactions.

Who can be happy about it? Of course not. But it is real problem for token holders, especially if it's price rather low.

i think we are near the time when some "stress test" will soon be happening on ethereum network which will cripple it for good. and it does not have all the fail-safes that bitcoin has and it will be a disaster because of it.

it would be an interesting experiment though. it will put to rest a lot of false advertisement of a lot of altcoins that claim they have no "scaling issue" or have solved it already!

Naturally, I do not like the big price for gas. I can not do anything about this, I just have to endure it.

There will be new competitors to ethereum soon, next month LISK is relaunching and they will be ready with an ethereum killing SDK using javascript rather than an unknown programming language. Get into lisk before 20 Feb!

We might as well see it first before investing on anything that we don't know. If LISK could came up with what you have describe, then it will just be matter of time because people will renewed their interest on this coin because of the said new technology they are developing.

No one will be happy seeing any coin for that matter increasing their transaction fee just to be able to move funds around. If I may say that it is one of the reason one people started to shun away from bitcoin and started to move to Ethereum. But if we are going to witness it happening a network congestion and the only resolution is a higher gas price fees, then I would start looking for coins like Litecoin.
