Crypto market is gaining day by day.If we look back before 1 year it has grown a lot for a one year.What would happen to it in next 5 years?How much market cap it could achieve?.Please give your ideas...

I think in the next five years, the whole market will go up to crazy, and then the bubble will burst, but quantum computers can also have an impact on the whole market.

In the next five year or less there will be a lot of underlying infrastructure changes to help decentralized the crypto market the more. Bitcoin price will surpass $100,000 because usage will outpace the price. Daily transaction volume will soar and more institutional adoption of crypto coins will take place.

I highly suspect that most coins will have a higher value and we will be richer than we are today as a "reward" for being early adopters of cryptocurrencies. Talking about market cap, you just need to take a single glance at the charts and you will see that the crypto scene will soon be bigger than wall street or any other financial institution.

I think after 5 years or more if this crypto continue to grow like this then all over the world already authorized and acknowledge crypto in that time so better to do now are save some bitcoins and always think positive like what happens here now.Moreover i think do hardwork now for more good so even crypto not going well after 5 yearsor more you already have some savings for your real future in life.

Some countries may ban it, but short of turning off the entire internet there is no way of enforcing such a ban.

I think for next 5 years crypto market will  increasingly grow, and lot more coin will be created but only few coin survive and grow.

Yes, I agree the crypto market has really done great so far and will still do more. Mere looking at it past achievement, we can say that in the next  five years its going to be massively great beyond what it is now. Yes the crypto market are booming every day currently its marketcap is 890 billion. After 5 years it can reach upto 3- 5 trillion. It is a possible one in five years.

 I think  5 years from now there will be more crytocurrency and  it will become the leading form of payment.

next 5 years I believe many investors will invest the cryptocurrencies this will pump up the altcoins and many new ICO's will launch and maybe bitcoin will increase the price more.

I see in five years more and more of the Mainstream and unbanked populations empowered by digital currency. Look at Maduro, he is now making his own coin called the Petro and is signing up miners all over the country to mine it. Think about how many people now will become rich there because of this shift in their financial policies. I see the biggest ever transfer of wealth happening and many many more people who we see now coming in as newbies, will in 5 years ultimately be millionaires if they just buy some good coins and hold.

I think cryptocurrency market will become so much traffic in five years.
There are many new people interest and get involve into cryptocurrency and it makes cryptocurrency market so much busy.

I feel that at least 50% of the population will be involved in crypto in the next 5 years. Crypto currencies are more adopted and we are able to use our coins in more shops in the world. Banks will be using block chain to replace swift payments.

Btw, probably big players (facebook, google, amazon,...) will enter the game, so probably there will be no more ICO or new altcoins.

Five years every tom and dick will have heard of crypto and probably the demand for altcoins and Bitcoins will be higher than all times. However scam and bad guys looking for quick money will get away with funds of the gullible and naive entrants.

It's hard to predict what will happen in 1 year, however I hope Market Cap will be 10+ trillion $$$ and hopefully my portfolio will survive it and bring good returns on my investment. 

Since this is not the speculation thread, I would rather not say what I think since it won't matter anyway. We can't even predict what happens next year alone. I just think that the crypto space is doing very well in catching more and more attention from potential investors.

there is one importantly that is inevitable to crypto in the next five years and it is demand. just few years ago when less people are into crypto market some of the coin price are not as high as it is now due to low demand and as the year progress crypto market will witness more investors which in turn means there will certainly be rise in the price of crypto coin.

most probably we are going to see some more hacker attempts and stolen coins. but in the end all investors are going to be rich.

I would say number of investors* simply because many come to invest and turn back to fiat at least from this point and I do believe in future. However we can expect many businesses and merchants to accept it which is great for us here, btw this thing is experimental still and so far people are lovin it.

Pretty sure Bitcoin will be forgotten. MAybe not gone but definitely forgotten. As with any new technology, the first is usually left behind by the second. Bitcoin is slow and there are many blockchains that are faster and more reliable. The coins representing these faster blockchains will be valued higher in my belief. Also, the bitcoin blockchain tech doesn't have too many real-world applications. Take XRP for instance. Ripple's blockchain (xrp) will change the way the world will transfer money. In five years it's going to be companies like that that will be at the top of the crypto market...In my opinion anyway...

I think in five years almost every payment and investment will be made using cryptocurrencies. Lending, banking, smart contracts and lightning technologies are growing each day. Like how internet and social media changed our lives and relationship, cryptocurrencies will change our financial relations and it will make the world smaller and connected to each other. I can easily invest a project on the other side of the world

After five years there will be many more new coins in the market, and some will vanish in the air. And hope so the price of BTC will go high and high.  :)

If people still continue to use crypto then the market will grow even more. More coins will be made and there will be more competition. Even banks might create their own coins to join the competition or just to ride the trend. Some coins will fade and will not be used but I believe some handful would stay.

There will be lots of alternative coins that will come up in the market in the next five years. Pump and dump will happen and the coins with most worthy of the trust of crypto users will stay in the market. I hope in the next five years positive things will happen with altcoins to provide better options for the cryptocurrency users.

The first main target was one trillion market capp and we're about to achieve that target soon. Then the main target will become 5 trillion dollar market cap in total and if we can do this, the rest will be much more amazing for us. All the coins will be much more valuable.

First, if many countries in the world legalize bitcoin, then of course the crypto market will be more crowded.
Secondly, but if many countries really ban bitcoin then it is likely market cap will continue to decline.
So to predict up to 5 years ahead is still a bit difficult, because many countries have not taken a decisive action

I am sure that the crypto-currency market will be subject to significant changes. Like I have said many times, majority of roadmaps would be completed by then--for the legit projects at least. Most shitcoins would be shaken of down the drain and the road to mass adoption will be closer than ever.

How was crypto market 5 years back and how is it now, plenty of things happened right crypto has become the strong online market, down the next 5 years crypto market extends further and extend its arm further strongly many people will likely invest more and more in cryptocurrency.  

I think it will continue to grow at a steady rate. It will likely be over two trillion dollars by then, and hopefully banks realise that there is no stopping this financial revolution and join it or close down. However, it being crypto with its volatility, no one can accurately predict what will happen to the market.

crypto market is changing recently and there are more crypto currencies on the market, that makes the market more deversity, and encrease the value of crypto market. however because of too much currencies but few of them are really useful so in next 5 years there will be less currencies on the market to make the crypto market more clear and safe.

Personally I think that only good things would happen with crypto, however, I do not think that Governments will allow us to continue not handing them over our money, as they are getting hit, but not hard enough, but once they do, it will get hard.

First of all, there is nothing obvious about cryptomarkets' future. According to past price and market cap curves, we can say that it might reach more incredible values in the future. But the prices are so fluctuate and I think it is not obvious that crypto markets will always continue gaining.

I hope that in five years the market of crypto currency will become more orderly and diverse. Yeah , we seen lots of growth but with that we can see that lots of garbage is entering in this crypto Field because not only better better coins are entering in the Bitcoin market but also with that lots of stupid coins are entering in this field and after making profit by the owner those coins become dead with the mother people investment in these dead coins .

Totally agree with that, most coins (out of the 1400 available) will fail. Sometimes probably for the wrong reasons, and shitcoins may also rise for the wrong reasons.

What is happening to crypto currency is like what happened in the bubble. Crypto is still in its infant stage and still needs to evolve. One thing is for sure that when all this lambo mindset is over, it is going to make people who are very patient so wealthy

I think they will also remove ico and they will delete it because now too much tokens or altcoins in the marketcap are so bad that people also handle it.

The crypto market after five years I find it very successful because now a days many crypto ICO are really achiever in the project they fill in, maybe some will not be successful but most of the crypto will become successfuly at that time.

In five years time. No one can predict the future of cryptocurrency as the market is not strong enough to withstand governments pressure. Few days ago just because of china and korea closing of exchange in their currency, bitcoin fall drastically and other coin bleed. I dont know what will happen once USA take a negative step towards cryptocurrency, then you will wakeup to see bitcoin price at less than $1.

Looking back five years and considering the progress in Cryptocurrency, I must admit that I never expected what happens today.

In five years Crypto World will still be alive but will start to decelerate due to maturing stage. Few ICO's will be seen and the focus more is on trading.

I think there will be a lot of potential coins in the next 5 years, as we see from the many new coins that produce quality projects and teams, and the preferred market, I think etherium is also good for coin development in 5 years because the price could potentially close Bitcoin .

I'm looking forward for this to happen in the future, hopefully everything will increase so that we gain profits for all of our investments in crypto currencies.

Probably it will continue its fluctuation and inflation. I am pretty sure cryptocurrency will dominate the world in the future. But some countries are banning now the coins. Hopefully, they will be able to see how useful it is.

Five years from now, market is quite mature in my opinion. Slowly but surely, this will become a big market and will even dominate  the stock market maybe more years from now.  Possible that government will craft more  laws to weed out fraud.

I believe it will get bigger than expected. Big banks, fund institutions other industries will follow the trend. Stock exchange will have competition if they didn't adopt cryptocurrency. They already seen the past scenarios, its either they adopt it or lose the business.

Me too. Regulations may have been applied in several aspects in crypto then though not entirely, but there will be general regulations. What's going on right now indicates that governments are looking more closely on crypto compared to the past few years.

I think 5 year s is a very long time to try and predict. But i think a few coins will be on top with BTC at around the same value. The market has alot of room to grow well above what it is at now.

It's too hard to make any forecasts for 5 years, but one thing that I'm sure about is that the crypto market won't disappear. It's the future and any government should learn how to deal with cryptos whatever want they or not.
