8/23/13 Update #2 Any future orders are not affected by the delay for DHL in losing my USB Miners order. 8/23/13 No USB Miners or Blades have arrived today. I have received new tracking numbers from friedcat shipped on 8/22/12 and new orders are being shipped to me by FedEx. I have an order from DHL that should have arrived on Monday that they somehow "lost" even though I received other orders the same day from them. This would have been around 500 USB miners, thus the delay in shipping. I don't usually post tracking numbers for security reasons but will post the lost tracking number so that you know I am being honest and upfront with you. Tracking number is 8677805975 at www.dhl-usa.com . As you can see,it left Omaha,NE on Thursday and should have arrived to me in two days on Monday. It was not delivered and I have requested a trace/investigation into where it is at. No USB Miners or Blades have arrived today as well. All orders are placed in a timely manner by me and I know it really is bad to not have these miners when they should have shipped by now. Thankfully I have ordered many in shipments to arrive by FedEx that are scheduled to arrive Tuesday at the latest. All orders for USB Miners that have not shipped this week will ship next Tuesday/Wednesday unless DHL magically delivers the lost shipment today or Monday. It is really frustrating for me as I strive for the best customer service I can provide. Hopefully with new shipments from FedEx, timeliness of delivery to me will be better and no more shipments to me will be "lost" by FedEx.

8/22/13 No miners or Blades received today. I have requested tracking numbers at least three times in the last three days with no reply. I am hopeful that several shipments arrive tomorrow. All of group buy #8 shipped and everything that I have received so far has shipped to group buy #9. I am currently waiting on more than 1000 USB miners to be delivered(some only ordered in the last few days). I am sorry about the delay but I have no control of when my orders are shipped or possible tracking numbers sent. I will get your orders out in the order received. I have placed orders for hundreds extra to try to have stock in hand for immediate delivery. The delays are killing me as well. I'm in the same boat, cheaper shipping would be nice and honestly this is only like a $30 investment and I'd be ok risking it being damaged while shipping and pay around $5 for a padded envelope compared to $35 for an insured more secure package. Any chance of this?

I've been sitting with this message open for almost 30 minutes now. Won't name sites, but I transferred from an exchange back to my personal wallet at 12:01 PM EST and it's now 12:28 PM EST and I've yet to get a single confirm. Blockchain.info says it's still an hour til it gets confirmed (position 612 in queue).

Hey SSB, I just got my order from GB8, order #1 today, thanks for getting it here quick!

One thing I noticed was that you put the Miners inside a USPS Small flat rate box, and then put an empty Small flat Rate box and some packing material inside a medium flat rate box. Isn't that expensive?? The way they are packaged individually, it would have been fine if you just shipped the Small Flat Rate box as it was packaged.

Don't mean to criticize, just hoping to help you save some money!

I agree that the packaging was pretty tight. It was like a russian doll game. There was something like 4 levels of boxes before getting to the BEs. My daughter had a blast unwrapping the new BEs! It felt like christmas!

One thing for sure. There is close to 0 risk that the BEs get damaged during the transport.

International shipments with tracking require the larger box size to put the detailed customs form, pro forma invoice etc. That is why the price is higher than the no tracking option. Also, I can't get the tracking on the small boxes that hold up to 14 on international shipments. Maybe in the future, I will get some custom boxes that are wide and skinny that will work(still will be more expensive for the tracking option). For now, it is boxes taped up super tight with bubble wrap stuffed in them to provide the best possible protection to your valued investment/miners  :D

My shipments were supposed to come FedEx this time but as has been PMed by friedcat, there is some delay. I don't have a dhl hub where I live like other resellers. I do have FedEx and that is why I asked for this faster option. I am doing the best I can with the circumstances at hand. No one has started honoring 100%.
 It was a stupid Idea in the first place.
If you bought a PS3 at launch you paid like $400... Its gone thru 4 price cuts.. did you go to sony with your hand out each time? If so they told you KICK ROCKS! You paid a premium to have the first ones. Its not Friedcat nor the resellers job to be your mommy and protect you from your decisions. All this did is create a headache no one really wants.

SSB, since this delivery delay is apparently due to friedcat have you reached out to him to see if he'll find a way to make this right?  At this point I still have not received my first shipment (which was scheduled to be delivered today and wasn't) and haven't received notification of my second shipment.  For those of us who ordered a significant amount of miners this is starting to mean significant loss in mining time and btc.  I would encourage you to reach out to him if you have not already done so.

I was just asking a fucking question, was I too aggressive for you?  We're talking about a DELIVERY delay due to what I'm assuming was miscommunication or a screwup on the shippers end, I'm not blaming SSB at all.

8/22/13 No miners or Blades received today. I have requested tracking numbers at least three times in the last three days with no reply. I am hopeful that several shipments arrive tomorrow. All of group buy #8 shipped and everything that I have received so far has shipped to group buy #9. I am currently waiting on more than 1000 USB miners to be delivered(some only ordered in the last few days). I am sorry about the delay but I have no control of when my orders are shipped or possible tracking numbers sent. I will get your orders out in the order received. I have placed orders for hundreds extra to try to have stock in hand for immediate delivery. The delays are killing me as well. I got my erupters yesterday and they've been hashing away like crazy ever since! I'm using bfgminer on Ubuntu 12.04 and getting over 330 Mh/sec per erupter and roughly 1% HW errors, which is negligible. Thanks!

This group buy isn't a standard group buy, he constantly orders when there is enough to place an order. If we did the math out it would probably be GB 20 or something like that by now. If you order now I think you'd get it in about a week or so, less if they come in early and less time if he has extra's from the last order.

Received my 15 erupters today, nice. I have just enough ports to run them all with a couple 6-port hubs, perfect. 5GH/s steady. They run pretty hot, I should probably do something about that. If BTC goes up to 200 I'll even make ROI. Now to get serious about overclocking these badboys, I'll let you know how it goes.
