Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?

No.... however, you can deposit your BTC's to an exchange and exchange them for FIAT, then withdraw said FIAT to your bank account... Or you can create an account on localbitcoins, fund it with your BTC and sell it for cash/wire/... Or you can visit an ATM to deposit your BTC and get cash... Or you can find an exchanger on this forum.

But direct deposit of BTC to your bank account won't work.

Note they charge deposit fees when your transfer bitcoins to your localbitcoins account. I am suing this site from 2 years without any issue. in case any issue localbitcoins team helps you.

Bitcoins cannot be transferred to any fiat currency or any bank account.

No, you cannot. Banks are not accepting bitcoins. First you have to convert your bitcoin currency to fiat currency and then transfer the fiat balance toc your bank account. from where you can withdraw your money. Bitcoin exchange will do this for you. After converting bitcoin currency to fiat currency you may have to pay taxes as per the rules of your country.

Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?

You can't do that directly simply because your bank account don't have bitcoin address so better to convert it into fiat money first. Look for the wallet that is highly recommended on you place and your problem will be solved. It will always depend on your place, ask more to your friends which can help you better.

While it is impossible to put bitcoins on you bank account or deposit. But there is no special need for this, because now a huge number of options to keep money virtually, not physically.

Why not?

Actually, it depends on what you mean. What you can do for sure is trading bitcoin for the currency n use in your coutry and then transfer such amount on your bank account. Warning: depending on legislation, such amount of money may be submitted to taxations so beware what you transfer!

Then, if you mean "can I have bitcoin on my bank account".. Well of course not! As any currency in the world, you have to change it for "your" currency before getting it on your account. The difference is that if you receive.. let's say pound on a euro bank account, the bank can me the exchange itself (and charge you for that). With bitcoin... Well, you have to deal with the exchange on your own!

Bitcoins cannot be transferred to any fiat currency or any bank account.

Hello friend, i was forced to take a week break from the site but i am back now.

I think the answer might be Ripple that is trusted by the banks so longer term it might
be wise to cough up 20 XPR to hold your Ripple wallet open and use that as a conduit
after converting XYZ>XRP

Regulations will force more people to use Ripple and they will like it anyway because the fees
are $0.02 per transaction and not $25 like it is with Bitcoin plus you have a small amount of
protection if your coins go on a walk about like we are seeing a lot of these days.

Don't worry I am no fan of the bankers but i am sure you can see the logic in my thinking

I think in order for you to transfer it you need first to convert it into cash then send it to your bank account. That was my opinion about it since banks now are like they not yet cooperate with bitcoin.

Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?

You can do it through an exchange. Some exchanges allows you to convert your Bitcoin to USD or EUR and withdraw it to your local bank depending in your residence country.
Some countries are restricted by some exchanges.

Yes you can in some ways, I am telling how I do mine.

1. Upload funds from my wallet (Electrum) to Skrill (you should make an account in Skrill if you don't have any)
2. Once funds are uploaded(6 confirmations on bitcoin network), directly I click Withdraw to bank account and that's it.

Extremely easy I would say.

I have a friend who cashed out his BTC last week and transferred his funds from the exchange to his bank account directly, the bank got surprised of the amount transferred and called him immediately asking where his funds came from, my friend just told the bank that it was just a remittance from a relative abroad. The central bank here in our country is showing signs of partaking profits from crypto. You still need a middleman to transfer your BTC to fiat.

you have to go through an exchanger first to convert it into fiat, then you can transfer to your bank account.
First check which exchanger has the better fees and their policy, then just send your BTC to the exchanger wallet, sell and transfer, easy and "fast" (it could take up to one week to get money in your account).

I do not think there is a bank that accept bitcoin directly,  so I guess you have to move your bitcoin to exchanges and convert them to fiat currency before depositing it to the bank.  That is the normal process we have here unless there is some bank that accept bitcoin directly.

1. Transfer your bitcoin to a local exchanger receiving BTC pair with local currency
2. Withdraw your money with your local currency to a bank account

need to be light, BTC is not compatible with most conventional banks, so there must be an exchanger

Direct to a bank account no, only if your bank accept the bitcoin like a currency (and it is possible)
The other way is to exchange the bitcoin and get you preferred fiat currency (USD, EUR etc.)
You can try services like LocalBitcoin , that allow you to sell your bitcoin and receive the money with any of your local system payments

It is not possible to transfer into bank account as bitcoin is a digital money, in the bank account we can keep only physical money in the sense fiat currency so bank will not accept the digital money to deposit in the banks. Exchange the crypto into fiat currency and then transfer to the Bank.

No, you can transfer your Bitcoins to any exchange and sell them for cash and then withdraw that money to your Bank.

The standard procedure is to deposit bitcoins into the bitcoin exchange, sell the bitcoin there and extract the converted cash to your bank account. Identification is considered mandatory to the exchange and exchange must be able to dispatch money transfer  to your bank.

Bitcoin is different from fiat(which is deposited on bank account), so i dont think you can deposit bitcoin on your bank account. Bitcoin can be kept on bitcoin wallets, where it has its own digital address which is very important when making any transactions. Any transactions on bitcoin are registered on blockchain. Also, one of bitcoin's characteristic is that it is decentalized, meaning no third party is needed for every transactions. So one can send and receive bitcoin from other person directly. Peer to peer. So i think theres no need for a bank when it comes to bitcoin. But depends if theres a need for it in the future.
If you really wanted to deposit your bitcoins, you need to change it to fiat first before you can deposit it on your bank account.

I think no but you can conver your bitcoin to your fiat. There is many application or site that can convert your bitcoin to your currency and in this way you will able to deposit your exchange into your bank. Bitcoin always kept in the bitcoin wallet and can be your bank and own a wallet address that you will keep always. Bitcoin is not supported of the bank, maybe in the future banks will accept bitcoin but for now you need to exchange.

Transfering bitcoins to your bank account is not possible right now but necessity is the mother of invention and I think if bitcoin becomes legal in many countries then you can expect a crypto bank account under your respected banks soon just like the DEMAT account is available for Stock and Commodity trading and holdings. In order store and access, the bitcoin by yourself you will need a bitcoin wallet which is available in different types and the best one I would like to recommend you to use is the Hardware wallets which gives you the highest amount of security for example like TREZOR WALLET.

People do trading and convert the bitcoin to fiat and the same will be withdrawn from the banking account. This is the only possible way and in future we might get more banks adopting bitcoin as well other digital currencies.

That is impossible, you can't transfer Bitcoin directly to your bank account. Currently, banks only accept currencies that have been approved by governments, they have not legalized Bitcoin for use in banks. You should transfer Bitcoin to currencies such as usd or euro and then transfer them to your bank account. For other cryptos, I'm not sure but I have not seen any banks in my country allowed to send and receive cryptos.

It can not be done directly, you have to go through some process first to be able to transfer your bitcoin money, it is because the bank does not accept bitcoin bank only accept fiat. so there must be a third party who want to buy or can say the traders who will buy your bitcoin with fiat and after that you can withdraw it with your bank.
Localbitcoins.com is the recommended address for your bitcoin exchange to fiat.

It seems to me that the bitcoin community needs to go the other way. Why wait that bitcoin can fill up a Bank account? I think that we should strive to not use Fiat. We need to build a system using bitcoins to trade without exchanging for Fiat. I do not believe that the government will agree ever using bitcoin.

However, I guess this was not what the guy was thing at. Since the person seems not to know exactly how Bitcoin works, he should perhaps open an account on Coinbase which is very simple to understand and it it allows the customers to sell the Bitcoins and send the FIAT money to the bank account.

Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?

Already so many people say that it can't be done. Well, to my knowledge, there is no bank that received bitcoin to be liquidated into the currency, which I know, you must use the services of third parties. Examples such as an exchange. Some major banks in the world do use cryptocurrency called Ripple, but for the activities of receiving and sending money to between countries or between banks is not to be traded as the exchange site.

Unfortunately you can't directly transfer bitcoin into your bank account, however an ATM Machine can be used to withraw a bitcoins to local fiat currency given that it is a bitcoin supported ATM machine not the normal ones. You can check the available bitcoin ATM machines in your place here https://coinatmradar.com/ but I can't assure you that the site is always updated. There's another method that you can be able to transfer bitcoins to your bank account, by using bitcoin exchange sites such as Binance, Bittrex, hitBTC etc, deposit them here thus will convert it into fiat currency just follow every setup on their site and send their required requirements then your good. Or simply you can sell your bitcoins into a legit buyer and they will directly send the payment into your account. I hope you learn the possible methods in transferring bitcoins into your account.

Banks don't like or don't trust  bitcoin so you can't  transfer as in direct transfer. You can transfer by sending  it to an exchange.

Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?
There is no direct way to deposit bitcoin to your bank account. You must trade your bitcoin first in an exchange to currency or fiat then by that you can send it to your bank.  That is the only wa you can send it to your bank account..as bitcoin is a cryptocurrency it is not fiat so it still needs to be converted to cash first.

Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?
As far as I know, that's impossible since Bitcoin is decentralized while banks are not. The knly way way you can do that is to convert first your Bitcoin into Fiat or regular currency and again, transfer that amount into your bank account. But actually you don't really need to transfer your Bitcoin in banks, also, it will be safe on e-wallets and in this way, profit will be earned as its market value increases.

Well, you have to deal Definitely, Yes! You can transfer your bitcoins into your bank but it will be converted into your country currency type. But this is accepted by some of the banks and countries. the exchange on your own!

I think no. But if you will convert your bitcoin into fiat money then that would be possible but be careful because some banks think that if you will deposit large money online they will think that it is from illegal transaction and is suspicious but in reality it is not. So, the best thing is to cash out your money and then deposit it personally to yur bank account.

This question or its give scenario depends on a lot of matter. First is that the banks availability to use bitcoin. We all know how bitcoin manage to be patronised nowadays. And as these time pass, there are great opportunities opened for bitcoin. So does for the banks. They are into the change making their service flexible by not just focusing on fiats. So with regards to your question, this could be possible if that bank is into bitcoin.

Bitcoin cannot be directly transfer to our personal bank or to the bank of other people. In my case if i wanted to in cash or i want to transfer it in my bank, i will convert btc to our currency through the use of digital wallet. In which you convert btc to a regular currency and once it is converted to regular currency, thats the time you can send it to your bank account. With the help of online wallet then we can transfer the money from btc to our banks.  I think this is the reason why there is a digital wallet because   online wallet is the one will receive bitcoin, also store bitcoin and can even send bitcoin to other digital wallet.

I think as of now that is not possible, there are no banks i knew that accept bitcoin as a form of a deposit currency. Some banks even did not accept foreign currency and they will let you convert it to the local fiat before they could accept it. So, you need to convert your bitcoin to local fiat first before you could deposit.

Hi there Oliver A! There is no direct way you could do that without converting first the bitcoin. But there is one trading firm I knew which will could directly transfer funds to your bank account. The exchanged is named cex.io, you just need to open a free account and be verified, you can then transfer you bitcoins to them and you could sell it in the market, once in dollar it could be transfer then to your bank account or even back to your credit card.  ;)

of course can not, because banks use conventional money. bitcoin is a digital currency, if you want to put it in a bank account, you just need to exchange bitcoin with your country currency through bitcoin exchange site, then from that site you enter your account number and after bitcoin you exchange, then the money will go into account your bank

I've always been a fan of LocalBitcoins.

In Australia buying and selling Bitcoins is just a matter of using their site to find a reputable vendor. Often I'd be dealing with the same vendors on a regular basis. LBC has escrow, so it's just a matter of initiating the trade, and using bank details to fund a purchase or get funded for a sale. Dealing with vendors that have the same bank usually means overnight; but trusted vendors can transfer or receive funds straight away in most instances. Of course, the rates are probably 5% in the vendor's favour, but it's worthwhile when you consider the transaction time is quick and escrow gives the transaction very low risk. I've bought and sold bitcoins thousands of times over the years and never had an issue with being scammed.

Bitcoin is something that is very different from the traditional currencies and hence you cannot transfer Bitcoins in as it is form to your bank account however you can always sell your Bitcoin to someone and ask him to pay funds in your bank account. So if you have Bitcoin worth $100 then you can sell it to someone and he will send $100 in your bank account and he will be the new owner of those Bitcoins having $100 value. Now it will be his profit or loss if Bitcoin price is changing as far as Bitcoin is in his custody.

The best way is to find someone who is willing to pay you the amount in cash in exchange for Bitcoins that you are willing to encash. Now in order to find some active trader in your area, you can take the help of exchanges like localbitcoins. Otherwise, you can also use exchanges which allows you to withdraw your funds in your bank account. There must be someone who is willing to pay you cash, there might be an automatic way like exchange software or you have to go through the manual way of selling your Bitcoins to someone and asking him to send funds in your bank account or cash.

Title: Re: Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?

No, you cannot. Banks are not accepting bitcoins. First you have to convert your bitcoin currency to fiat currency and then transfer the fiat balance toc your bank account. from where you can withdraw your money. Bitcoin exchange will do this for you. After converting bitcoin currency to fiat currency you may have to pay taxes as per the rules of your country.
Direct transfer of BTC to the bank account for now can not.
Other crypto currencies and tokens can be converted to BTC in flat currency.
There is always the possibility that a local dealer will provide you with cash on hand.
Just be careful!

I do not know of any bank that would directly accept bitcoin.
And even if one would, I do not think they would be ensured and you will get no interest for them.
So storing your coins at a bank would not bring an advantage, I think even more a disadvantage.
When you want to convert your coins into another currency, then an exchange is the place to go to.

I have not heard of any banks that directly hold bitcoin for people. It does go against the whole ethos of bitcoin where it is decentralised and a form of currency away from the banking and financial institutions.

With having your own wallets and keys you are your own bank. You could store on an exchange and use it as a "bank" but you run the risk of the exchange folding or being hacked. If its fiat you want sell on certain exchanges that you have linked with your bank accounts or local bitcoins.

Of course you can - but first you must sell the BTC, perhaps to localbitcoins.com, if it is available in your country - if not you will need to find a reputable buyer locally - beware of scammers and even robbery! So if you managed to register on a selling site (we will ignore the meetup) then after transferring the Bitcoin, to sell it is put into escrow. IMPOTENT: when you set up the sale, a reference is asked for, DO NOT WRITE Bitcoin / BTC / Cryptocurrency etc, there is a massive risk and likelyhood of your account being shut down by the bank!!! Remember also to check your bank account balance to see if funding has occurred BEFORE releasing the BTC out of escrow!

I don't know if this is possible in other countries. But in mine, it is not possible to transfer bitcoin or any other crypto to a bank account. If this has to be done, the bitcoin will be first converted through a local exchanger into the countries' local money before it can be deposited into the bank account.

No banks currently support fiat. They do not have bitcoin wallets. Therefore, you have to exchange your bitcoin to fiat and then transfer it to your bank account. If you want to store bitcoin, you need software that utilizes a bitcoin wallet. Usually you would want this online, since it's less susceptible to hacks. Storing your cryptos online is a little more dangerous.

Yes in current time it may not be possible but in future we can expect to use bank for our bitcoin transaction. In fact banks cannot accept bitcoin until government will accept bitcoin as legal currency, and only then banks will take a possible step toward bitcoin to accept bitcoin for deposit and transaction purposes, in future we can expect that a time will come when bitcoin will become legal currency throughout the world and then banks will also start accepting bitcoin for transaction and to deposit it.

from a local bitcoin wallet site I use all I can do is redeem the bitcoin I have on the bursapertung section to convert to USD. then I can transfer my money my bank account number. but if you have not done bitcoin exchange to USD it can not be done to transfer bitcoin bank account number I have because my country has not exist from the bank that received a transfer by using bitcoin method. I hope someday there will be a bank that will adopt bitcoin so I can keep my bitcoin assets in the bank I think it will be safer.

You need to sell your bitcoins to get cash for your bank account.

The account you receive bitcoin is your own bitcoin wallet address, not the same as you created multiple bitcoin addresses. You send the bitcoin from the address where you received the bitcoin to your original bitcoin wallet address.

Transferring of bitcoin directly to a bank account could not be done. Banks do not accept bitcoin. However, you could convert your bitcoin into a fiat currency. That's only the time where you could deposit or transfer your balance into your bank account.

Yep, you can. There are exchanges available for that and your wallet itself has option I think but you haven't mentioned which wallet you use. Coinbase wallet is used by me and I can transfer bitcoin to bank account, still you may have restriction in your country and each country has it's acceptance and non acceptance policy for bitcoin conversion as fiat through exchanges.

You can not send it directly to the bank account.
Each country has certain sites. You can do it through them. If the banks know, coins can be directly transferred. This will happen soon. 8) 8)

Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?

Yes you can, as long as the banks in your state is accepting bitcoin, if not, there are exchanges and local wallets that can convert bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies to your local currency, then, when you have converted your coins to your local currency then you could now cash it out on ATMs or even banks.
