Great exchange, never watched them with no issues. Tech support is very responsive and almost never freezes, unlike many others.

Nothing to be afraid on Cryptopia. I don't experience that kind of issues on cryptopia, just make sure that you pass it to the correct address. If you don't still receive it, try opening a support ticket. I'm sure they will resolve it and will get onto you.

Your issue should be resolved soon. You need to give it some time for your deposit to appear. There are a whole lots of factors that can cause a delay n your deposit. If after 24 hours you are still having the same issue, you should write to them!

Cryptopia is safe to use. just enable its 2FA. you can choose from having a pin code or google authenticator. i advise to choose google authenticator.. it is safe to use. just be careful in trading, there are so many shitcoins in that site. But cryptoipa not major altcoin exchange, if compare poloniex, kraken or bittrex, still under, volume transaction is not big. Good Lucky...

The same thing happened to me but it was with another exchanges and I have also contacted the support but their answer was just not helpful. I have to wait for almost a month before my transaction got processed and it was really annoying because at that time I really don't know if the problem was on the exchanges or with the blockchain (which certainly has many transactions that causes delay). Anyways, I am also using Cryptopia but I never had a deposit issue with it. Cryptopia is a trusted exchanges and as far as I know if there is a problem with the deposit and withdrawal sometimes the exchanges are upgrading or updating.

I have had a great experience with Cryptopia but I haven't needed to write a support ticket recently and have heard the backlog is insane. We must remember that they received more users in December than they had overall users which is an insane influx of users!

Very good exchange. They have a good selection of altcoins that other exchanges don't have. As some have said, it takes some time for them to process withdraws, but they are very security cautious.

cryptopia is fine... sometimes there is a delay in support tickets, but which exchange doesn't have this...

so far everything has been alright with me, deposits, withdrawals, etc.

just make a strong password and 2fa, and try not keep it on the exchanges for too long (if you wanna put it in cold storage)

a lot of shitcoins on there of course, but as an exchange, functions well.

Cryptopia is a great exchange one of the best of New Zealand. Until now they have never been known for any types of scams in the scams section. I have personally used the exchange but just traded something like 0.1 BTC. They have easy withdrawals and deposits until you remember the PIN code you have assigned which a type of 2fa of theirs. Moreover its the largest exchange with NZDT pairs. I see no problem with it so rest assured.

Not my favorite exchange but they've been around for awhile and I wouldn't worry to much about them.  Much of the problems they have are more related to the massive amount of coins they have.  That many coins means more wallet issues.

Title: Re: Cryptopia
Post by: Zocadas on January 19, 2018, 05:17:13 PM
We don't know, which cryptocurrency you tried to deposit. But mostly deposit issues on Cryptopia and other legit exchangers are caused by the network or wallets of deposited cryptocurrencies. It may be caused by overloaded network, wallets being under maintance or too low fees. If issues lay on network or upgrades, the coins will appear as soon the network  is working proper or the wallets are updated. There is no need to worry about. If you sent your funds with too low fees, it may be neccessary to accelerate your transfer.
Cryptopia itself usually credits every fund very fast.

The only problem I had with them is sometimes the confirmation email that you have to click on doesn't come so I wait a bit and do it again that so far has solved the problem.

Never had any issue of using cryptopia my guess you sending a coin which is under maintenance this is mostly issue but i haven't experience this in cryptopia but in other exchanges .. i suggest you to check the wallet info and search the coin you deposited here https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/CoinInfo/
If its show maintenance it means that wallet is still fixing that is why you are still not receiving your deposited amount of coins..
Don't be worry once the maintenance is done your coin will be credited. .

I have never had any issues with Cryptopia. The only problem is that you are not allowed to withdraw more than a certain amount every day - but you can raise your limits if you get better verification.

On Cryptopia almost all assets are shitcoins. And the volumes are also small. There are many other good exchanges with a large selection of top 100 altcoins.

Hello

As far as my Cryptopia experience is concern, I don't encountered yet any problem using their exchange.

What kind of deposit issue you experienced? Bitcoin? Tokens?

If bitcoin, contact their support right away even currently they are slow in responding in some of the tickets. If that is an altcoin, maybe it was just a delay or the wallet is on maintenance. Above overall, more importantly, contact their support.

Hello

You have to provide more information about what coins that you have deposited into cryptopia? or a txid will be useful.
If you sent bitcoin, maybe it's because the mempool which require high fee, but for altcoins, mostly just going smoothly.
Cryptopia still works due to the trading volume isn't so big, but when the time comes, this problem will be a common thing such as experienced by other big exchanges.

i lovr the exchangfe but recently is delaying in depositing and withdrawal. with time all will be ok

This is just a sign, imagine if they have more customers and bigger trading volume, more tickets will be submitted and Cryptopia may facing the same problem regarding their customer service.

This is FALSE, cryptopia's support is a non responsive one, do not even bother yourself about sending them a support ticket because they are not going to reply.

A few days ago, i had some troubles, and i sent them a ticket, more than 8 days have passed and they did not even gave me a reply (only their bot)

So no, they are pure crap, i recuperated my money only because it got deposited in my account after 38 hours.

They are a failure, do not use this one.

I used this exchange too but at the moment nothing problem, deposit and withdrawal its work fine. But the volume in this exchange lower than others exchange. I also used others exchange because to risky to put money in one single exchange, others exchange that good in service is Kucoin amd Gate.io because they has telegram official support group so when any problem you can contact direct in their telegram.

At the time of December month, maybe if I'm not mistaken around the date of 11/12 December cryptopia had an error on their wallet, so the deposit of the users did not enter.
But after a day they can fix the problem, and apologize to the users.
Well, naturally if an exchange has an error because of the many community interest that started a lot to switch to crypto trading.
cryptopia is a good exchange place, maybe you should wait for a while so your deposit will appear.

but support from cryptopia is very cooperative and good service.

As of now still using cryptopia as my exchange. Don't have any issue with it. I already had three transaction with it and all is a successful one. I like their layout, very basic and simple that can be understand by anyone with interest. Sometimes its slow in loading (maybe due to traffic) but can see all visible aspect needed in an exchange. I also thought it is one of the major exchange in the net, but its just a small exchange (as what i read in the other forum). I don't know with the others, they have their issues in cryptopia.

it could be one of many reasons that cryptopia having a problem and makes their member difficult to deposit and to withdraw. but I think cryptopia itself will to do something like maintaining their server so they can still work properly even if all of their members are online at the same time. but I am sure that the problem will be solved and the members could continue to trade in that site.

Cryptopia is a great site.  That said, I've noticed they sometimes take longer than the other exchanges to process withdrawals.  Fun site to use though, plus they list a lot of great hard to find coins.

The most important problem of cryptopia is that they are taking a lot of time in order to process all the withdrawals and deposits. The DEX works fine, i like the exchange, but the only issue that they have with almost all the customers are the withdrawals.

But the exchange is NOT SAFE. They are stealing a lot of people's funds in there and they are not even answering to the support tickets. They are not even answering on Twitter or reddit.

I have traded twice already in cryptopia because of altcoiin reward from a bounty. I have no issue in withdrawing my investment, very fast and reliable. Also the interface is very friendly for a beginner which thats why I think many people are trading with it.

Hello

I have some deposit issue on Cryptopia. Someone has some experience with them?  Good or bad?

I once couldnt get into my topia account and it took ages to get in touch with someone from support. Experience for that wasnt the greatest overall.

Cryptopia exchange is under maintenance now because they detect some suspicious transactions there but there's nothing to be worried about the funds you deposited there.

I deposited Ubiq and it says complete on the other end but my cryptopia wallet is still empty. I have put tickets in and do not know what to do. The network recognizes my coins are there, so not sure where they are. Cryptopia is killing me. Tons of withdraw issues, I hope this isn't the start of a scam and run.

be patient bro, cryptopia has a large member that has a different problem and needs to be solved. I am sure that soon the support system will answer your ticket and solve your problem. maybe it is just a delay to landing into your account because some of the coins need a long time before it is confirmed and it will land in your account soon.

I have had a great experience with Cryptopia but I haven't needed to write a support ticket recently and have heard the backlog is insane. There is no need to worry about. If you sent your funds with too low fees, it may be neccessary to accelerate your transfer

If you feel you do the right thing on your end then ask for help by support if your ticket wasn't open for 24 hours create another one . Lots of people having some issue with cryptopia . Its not recommendable anymore since cryptopia system is too slow and support are not as fast as it should be . I can say those things co'z I already experienced it with them , but still for me cryptopia is legit its just with their way to handle this kind of situation . Maybe they need a new developer ( Just saying )  ;D.

I also used this exchange and so far not any problem with them. My Deposit, Trading activity and withdrawal running smoothly. This is good exchange and many altcoin available to trade there, just need more volume.

I dont use this exchange because has low volume, i prefer use Binance, Kucoin, Poloniex and Bittrex . I more like trading in exchange that has high volume so i can get better liquidity. But from other review of trader, Cryptopia is good exchange, you have to contact their support and wait patiently so the customer support can solve your problem.

I used to use this exchange, but i have no issue with there platform. The main problem on that exchange is most of altcoins there being control by some whales and make that price not good for holding. :-\

The withdrawal fee makes me feel annoyed at them since they put a high figure of money to pay them up upon our withdrawal and that made me half away upon trading a low quantities of token since i might lose due to the fee's. But we can rely on them now on their trading service since now they making a real good things to fasten up their service.

Cryptopia is the only exchange in where you have a doge/altcoin pair in there, that is why i love it. Also, that is the only exchange in where i can buy Phore and a few other altcoins that are not listed in any other exchange.

it is good enough for me

Cryptopia is a good exchange and I am trading on this mostly I trade ETN on crypto as it was not on other exchanges fees are also less and I enjoy trading on Cryptopia.

I have exchanged with them and had no issues. The website hardly freezes and if you have an issue tech support is quick.

Not sure what all of the negative messages I've been seeing on this thread are about, for such a small team the website does quite a good job of responding to queries, and certainly doesn't have the negative rep associated with it like other sites do.

I'm sure they'll resolve your issue.

So far so good. I used this exchange regularly and they keep improving day by day.

The traffic for this site is very good https://www.cryptotrafficrank.com/

Fear of being scam, I made transfer from Binance to cryptopia, confirmation in blockchain, all OK and 0 coin in my wallet in cryptopia.

I opened support, with all items, prints, and hash and no response so far.

Cryptopia is good exchange. You can safely invest here. If there is a problem, then talk to the support. So everything will be okay. It seems best that many ICOs coins come in the Cryptopia .

Are you living under a rock or are you a paid shill?

- Cryptopia is a horrible exchange.
- You can't safely deposit funds to trade or invest there.
- Contacting support is more difficult than launching a space shuttle.

If you don't believe any of this, just perfom a simple search on this forum or Google. You'll see how many people are being victimized by that exchange, which at the end of the day is people's fault as well. Don't use this exchange.

They answer all tickets 1-2 day maximum and are very supportive and responsive.

Hahaha, horrific. These words are funny but so true.
If anyone is depending that they are a good exchange, think again don't listen to someone that's saying it's a good place to trade.
If you don't have choice but to trade there do it with caution.

The main issue here is the incapacity of Cryptopia to attend the customers needs and concern immidiately. Issues like unable to withdraw, not showing of deposits, and other fund related concerns is almost a normal thing happened in any exchange ( but ofcourse it should not happen too frequent lol ) One thing that disappoints me is their customer service.

This is really funny, but I have to agree this is true. You'll have your alts stucked for several months before it could be resolved, then the CS will respond to your ticket after how many weeks lol.

I remember that I am using this exchanges in a few months ago maybe in the last year and I don't have any problem with them. and I remember that I still have some of the coins in that exchange, maybe later I will take a look and see if I can make a profit or not. I think that exchange is for the small market with too many cheap coins that you can buy. in that time, I can make withdraw like in the other exchanges and I am not waiting too long to receive my coins in other exchange.

This happens most of the exchange, they are lack of manpower to assess and address their customers problem.
And they are also growing so they can't do it at the same time, maybe they are lack of people to address everyone's concern.
This is the normal problem of exchanges that are growing but if its too terrible, at least for another exchange that's active with helping their customers.

This is a great and awesome exchange. This exchange is the first exchange site that I use to invest. I feel comfortable for this exchange and platform because it is easy to use. I use this exchange to buy electroneum and it is really awesome also because of it's low transaction fee. I don't know why you have that problem but if you continuously experience that situation, then try to transfer to another exchange like binance.

Nah, lack of manpower is a very lousy reason. They are aware of the number of people using their service, its too dumb for them not to anticipate the number of possible concerns every single day as well. We, as the customers has the right to be answered in regards with our concerns, most especially if your money is on the line. Our concerns or tickets and follow up questions must not be ignored, if they lack of manpower, then they need to hire more employees, they are earning more than what they had earned before anyway. Its a very unfair approach on our edge as we are paying the right amount of transaction fees using their service.

Even the most popular exchange didn't anticipate the increase in users. I am thinking for example to Kraken, Bittrex, and even Coinbase. It took months to hire more staff and it's not as simple as it seems. They first need to find qualified persons and then training them to fit their needs. It's not like if you hire someone from a call center to answer to phone calls.

I agree, I know how the process works in getting new employees, and I know those exchanges you mention are a good one in terms of customer service, but what I was referring to is the other specific exchange who lack of customer service satisfactory rate, who has the same cs issues from the past years.
Call center companies arent the same anyway, there are those who hire you and can be able to proceed to work right after you completed all the requirements including interviews. I worked in one of the call center before, and the employment procedures were long. Ive trained for more than a month for the product specific training, and another 2 weeks for performance probation in the production floor.
