So from 1 billion tokens if we say average price of token is $0.05 this would make token cap of $50 mil.

You sold $12mil in pre sale at 40% bonus so left only $8mil worth of token at ICO price around $0.07.

This would represent ICO token sale to represent around 12-15% of entire token cap.

Even entire pre sale and ICO sale would represent max 40% of all token.

This has potential for pump and dump as soon as token hits any exchange if 60% or more tokens in hands of owners and pre sale investors that had to invest min $200k.

From small investors point of view this doesn't look as a favourable ICO to invest into.

Also roadmap not have any plans for 2019 like everything is just focused on token finishing ICO, getting on some exchange, 4 months passing from pre sale for investors to unlock 40% bonus they got.

Then high risk every $200k+ private investor starts dumping and ICO investors that represent around 15% of all token holders getting burned.

I'm open for good extra info to make me change this mind.

Recommended GAS limit 250'000, GAS price 77Gwei (not used gas will be returned back to you). With 20000 and 60gwei it should go through as well

Why on the site was written a limit of gas 60,000 and gvei 20? With such a commission, the transaction was not sent. If the commission was higher, the transaction was canceled.

Dock.io (DOCK) ICO Analysis: A Decentralized Professional Data Exchange Protocol

Project Description
The freelancing scene has been growing steadily over the years and platforms like Upwork and Fiverr have grown to positions of prominence in the market. One of the biggest problems facing this market sector, however, is the fact that users on the platforms do not own their data. What this means is: if you spend a couple of years on a particular platform and you complete a number of projects, get some reviews and some recommendations etc., you cannot transfer the data to another platform.

dock.io team aims to build a platform that, according to them, will allow the easy integration of data from different sources (not just freelancing websites) along with regular and automatic updates. Users on dock.io should also be able to receive updates from multiple websites at once. Furthermore, data providers — the platforms that the data originates from— may be able to send data to a user’s profile on dock.io with approval from the user.

dock.io team claims that all data stored on their platform will be encrypted by IPFS. Furthermore, all the data on dock.io will be updated by the user off-chain; this should serve to assure applications that the data is a continuation of the previous, and that the version being received is the latest available. Additionally, users on dock.io should be able to verify each others’ on-chain data in a manner similar to employees confirming each others’ work experience.

Different applications may choose the extent of their verification requirements. The options that will likely be available on dock.io are: Loose verification — data from the user is sufficient on its own; Mid-Level verification — additional verification from the data source is required; Strong verification — on-chain signing of the information provided by the user is required.

The token, DOCK, is supposed to be used in rewarding data providers — platforms that give users permission to move their data to dock.io. If a platform wants to access user data that was provided by another platform, the former will pay a fee to the latter using DOCK tokens. Now, if a third-party wants to access the data from the “former”, they will pay a fee, also in DOCK; however, to ensure that the total supply of DOCK is constantly reducing, the DOCK tokens in this transaction will be burned.

I see all the market is on a bull trend with alts. Why is not this a strategic time for dock exchange

At the stage of registration in the project and passing the procedure of the KYC, the developers have shown themselves not very respectful of their investors. Bad start price coin on the stock exchange. The price fell very quickly to 1.2 x. I was lucky-I managed to sell in the first minutes at the price of 2x.

Can confirm. They are banning people everywhere questions are being asked. Got in contact with some bounty participants and every one of us got banned either from reddit or telegram. Some both. They're claiming they've sped up distribution, while some days they're sending out tokens maybe 2-3 times/hour. We've been waiting for 5 months for our pay and they're treating us like dirt. Don't think it's a scam per-se, but it sure feels so for us bounty folk.

Dock is a data exchange protocol designed to keep users in control of their own data at all times with cryptographic guarantees about data integrity and flow. The concept is two-sided. On one side, Dock provides an option for internet users to free themselves from the centralized, monolithic, data-hungry organizations that keep user data hostage in well-guarded silos. At the same time, it provides an option for progressive companies to build services where data exchange between companies is incentivized to break the data silos. The Dock protocol affords data owners the opportunity to take centralized control over increasingly distributed data. A critical aspect of this model is to incentivize sharing among data creators and data consumers via data owners’ consent by providing a cryptographically secured, Censorship-resistant exchange and settlement solution. In many respects, Ethereum’s eco-system provides the perfect platform to back Dock’s protocol and Dock initially opted to design and implement the L2 Plasma Cash reference model utilizing the DOCK (ERC-20) token to bond to ERC-721 tokens, which are then used off-chain to process the data exchange and settlement.

Users should take care of their accounts; more if they have sensitive or important information about the user or their companies. Dock is wonderful for these tasks

The Dock team was heads-down in November releasing a new feature which was a crowd favorite, making substantial progress on the protocol, introducing an SDK and onboarding a new partner. Can I withdraw my docks to an exchange dock address, or can so I really only send them to eth address like MEW?

A recent literary article emphasizes the Dock's commitment to the leadership of DAO and the work of the open source team. Today they reported that the Dock.io website repository has become publicly available and is accepting content from the OpenSource community.

So sad, not following updates from this project, when open dock website, website already changes, I think, I am  too late to withdraw my Dock on old version websites. Because no withdraw option for current website version.

If a bounty hunter, than there is no use. There was a KYC procedure for bounty withdrawal (for a period of time). I've failed it (it was written simply "failed", giving no explanation where and what was wrong) and there is no option to pass KYC for a second time.

After completing many major milestones in 2020, the Dock team is looking forward to another year of building innovative solutions, driving adoption, and engaging with our community.

Feb 16, 2021 we’re excited to share our updated roadmap for 2021, which aims to take further steps for removing inefficiencies and centralized control from the issuance and management of credentials. In addition to working toward this goal, we will continue our efforts to increase adoption of the Dock offerings through enhanced features and user experience.
