Genaro Network is the first Turing Complete Public Chain with Decentralized Storage Network, providing blockchain developers a one-stop solution to deploy smart contracts and store data simultaneously. Meanwhile, Genaro provides everyone with a trustworthy internet and a sharing community. As the creator behind the blockchain 3.0 concept, Genaro aims to contribute to blockchain infrastructure technology development. Through the Genaro Hub and Accelerator, we aim to foster thousands of DAPPS, to move applications from "Cloud" to "Blockchain” and thereby create a global blockchain ecosystem.


The Genaro Hub is designed to be a revolutionary workspace where concepts of coworking, coliving, and cocreating are combined, and all linked together by a social and business community utilizing the Genaro ecosystem. One of the major components of the Hub will be the Genaro Accelerator, a resident incubation and acceleration platform that will support the creation of the DAPPS that utilize the Genaro Network. It will provide mentorship, technical expertise, marketing support, and community funding to allow the teams and projects to flourish.
   


The Genaro idea was first proposed by co-founders Larry Liu and Waylon Wu in March, 2016. During the past one and half years, the Genaro Vulcan and Epsilon plans have been accomplished successfully. The Genaro team is now working on what are known as its Romulus plan and Eden plan – building the decentralized storage network for DAPPs and user friendly applications for users to share their unused storage space. Finally, the Genaro Altair plan will see the creation of the whole blockchain 3.0 ecosystem, where DAPPs can be easily deployed via the Genaro public chain and storage network.  (See Business Plan for development milestone visual)



Genaro’s conceptual blockchain 3.0 model debuted to the public in Nov. 2016, at China Business Event’s Shanghai Fintech forum, where co-founder Larry Liu shared the basic framework. Then Genaro received seed funding from two of the top global blockchain supporters, BlockAsset and ChainBase, and has attracted thousands of supporters from all over world so far. In order to both develop its community and product faster, Genaro has decided to launch Genaro Support Program in October, 2017, where contributors could donate ETH/BTC and get GNX in return. For its future strategy, Genaro is building a “Genaro Hub” and “Genaro Accelerator” to incubate and support over 100 Decentralized Applications built on the Genaro Network. ICO took place from mid November 2017 to late November 2017.  There was a hidden cap during the presale, and there was a hardcap of 67,812 ETH

But couldn't Ethereum do the same by utilizing a base or second layer storage solution or do you have a technical advantage there in some respect? Just trying to understand the differences.

Yes, Ethereum could do that, but if the base is raised by a new chain, the optimization could get a better result The tech advantage is here, we are using hybrid consensus.

What is the prediction of the token value?

We've previously submitted the necessary information for Coinmarketcap to update the circulating supply several times.  Unfortunately we do not control when they update their website; we've done our part, the ball is in their court.  What you should know is that the circulating supply is NOT a mystery, circulating supply is ~233.7 million.  Please direct anyone with questions about the circulating supply to this thread (specifically the original post).

I checked the new repo, but it's still confusing and interesting - it looks like you're leveraging storj's storage network, while you're claiming to build a new chain with native storage layer...

The two biggest problems with blockchain are scalability and privacy. Most encryption projects are concentrated in a centralized database. Blockchain will not be used if the company can not protect data and trade secrets. Privacy technology is far from complete, do not ignore the privacy technology

Why does this happen?

GNX will have its own storage.  That said, Storj's storage tech is more mature than ours at this point so we look to leverage some of their features to advance the project.  Obviously Storj's name is highly visible and respectable in the space.

Was looking into Genaro and was wondering if their gdx are available yet And if so where?

Genaro want to focus on dapps development and I think this is a very good target. If they will be able to amass that much storage and computing power, why don't let some bigger projects host there, as ordinary people wouldn't be able to fill all the storage with normal data. Seems like a platform that can act as a foundation for bigger things.
