Just install the client, then push the start mining button when all chains sync. Only solo mining for now, no pool yet. The debug console and client configuration mode will update later.

Just wait for a while. It took sometime for client to configure the host. If still nothing happen, try relogin the client. The client will scan all block chains.

When I started to exploit (the system selected a wallet in my "Address Book" for mining), after a few minutes I received a message to find a block, I checked and received in the "Total received" and "Final Balance" is 50 wmcc. However, I did not find it moved into my wallet, after 15 minutes I decided to turn off the mining, and turn it back on. The result was unexpected, I did not see coin anymore. we can not find the block and also we can not access the website.
the dev need to solve it as soon as possible,

Give them time, doesn't look like a daily released sh*t coin. Don't understand how you can use the words like ridiculous when its just that they have launched their ANN a few hours back. I see you are a Hero member, people would give lot of importance to those rankings, just don't create fud even before there's anything reasonable going on with the product yet. Bring your concerns, give them sometime, and if they don't respond then you can use some not so bad adjectives.

you need to restart it,
but nothing will change except the chain itself.
(no coin will be mined but the chain(miner chain) is higher compared to the network itself)

50 wmcc were confirmed and enlisted on balance of wallet as a result, probably software still is underfulfilled.

My wallet works about 6 hours has found 4 blocks during this time, periodically it is necessary restarting miner when it begins to lag behind a chain of blocks.

i did that too,
in total i spent 5~6 hours to mine it.
and restarting it a few times or around 3 times before when the miner chain is under the network chain.
but it did not change anything.
what is the hardware that you're using for when mining it ?

My loading of the processor shows about 6% for 5 processes of "wmcc-desktop.exe"
For my Core i9 7980XE miner is not optimized. :)

Yes loading changes and the number of processes periodically increases to 9-10 and more, but more than 6% I did not see load of the processor so far.

Current supply of the coins is little over than 20 million. Wasn't good to make the maximum supply reasonable by fixing at somewhere at 1000 million or around this figure. This way high block reward will not keep pressure on the value of coin by creating inflation, am I right ?

We released this project to support our original project. The original project was to develop a node consensus (Proof Of Presence). The idea is to use only network without using PoW or PoS. So no power consumption will be used. No power hash race.

It a steal. When 2 miners found same block. One will be rejected and other will accepted. The coin maturity is after 100 blocks. It seem other miner are accepted by networks. So the coins will be on 'steal status". You can check this at Wallet > Transaction Record > Pending Transaction

I've been mining for about 7 hours, and I get 100 wmcc, whereas I see history, there are those who get > 5k wmcc. And I do not understand why, because I do not even know if my CPU is connected to the mine or not, and connected to how many %?

I own a good i7 processor with 7th generation computer. Would anyone like to guide me little bit how actually this mining is being done ? I never did but seeing many people talking about CPU mining it arose my wish to mine for any project. This one is also picking up pace and users interest.

For anybody who's struggling with GPU mining, proceed to download basically any version of ccminer on github and then unzip it (for NVIDIA I'd recommend this one (https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases)).

Once downloaded, if you're on Windows, press Windows + R and move around directories with the "cd" command (ex: 'cd Desktop' and then 'cd Mining Stuff') until you're in the folder "ccminer(...)" (that you got from extracting the .zip you downloaded at the beginning).
Note that you can press tab and it will autocomplete anything you start writing after cd

This is what it looks like in my case:

C:\Users\m3t30v10\Desktop\Mining\ccminer-x64-2.2.4-cuda9> (this is where you type)


And once it looks like this, type:


And you are good to go :)

Your first block mined should appear like that "accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), x.x kH/s yay!!!"

I solo mined 10 blocks of it last night in about an hour. 9 with my 6 gpu rig and I got one with the CPU about 30 seconds after I clicked "start mining" lol

Yes, its 184B. But this is mineable coins and not token. Once the hashpower stabilize the target spacing will be 5 minutes for each block. So to reach the Max Supply it will take approx more than 100 years. Approx 1M/month or 15M/Year. Currently only 26k block found and difficulty very low.

It isn't the most convincing announcement I have ever seen I must say. I expect many people to agree and that would not be overly positive for your sale. Maybe improve everything a little bit. Your main title is wrong in terms of grammar.

Website needs improvement if you want to boost sales and convince investors because on website there's only little info about the coin.

I think this coin has a good platform, but the problm is they dont have post updates about the campaign, it would be easier and nicer if they keep on posted in the thread for further information.

It does not get synced.
Tested beta 13 under Windows in VMware. Same problem.

I tried GPU mining by ccminer (WMCC client: beta 13 on Linux), but after getting "accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), x.x kH/s yay!!!" nothing goes to my wallet.

What I did:
In WMCC client: Tools -> Stratum: Added a worker named "worker1" and password "pass" for example.
Used ccminer by the following command:
ccminer -a x15 -o stratum+tcp://127.0.0.1:6880/ -u worker1 -p pass -T 600 --no-cpu-verify

But nothing goes to my wallet after "yay!!!"!
Am I doing anything wrong?

I'm using port 7880...not sure if that would make a difference.
Also: are you also running the miner in the desktop client? I've always had to start that running, then startup ccminer. (Then I usually go back and stop the miner in the desktop client...I still get blocks without it)

Using port 7880 I get "HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server" error occasionally and there is no "yay!!!".
Using port 6880 and starting miner on client also doesn't help. Still coins don't go into my wallet after getting "yay!!!"!

I don't see anything wrong in your steps. Your wallet is synced to 100%? What linux distro are u using? port 6880 is correct, don't use http 7880 port. Can you agree that your wallet is running on same machine that your GPU worker?

It is strange.
I'm using Ubuntu 17.04. Wallet and miner are working on the same machine.
Even tested bridging vmware and connecting ccminer from Ubuntu to wallet in windows. Same problem happens.
I'll try to collect logs to see what's happening.

Thats mean your share accepted by pool hosted on your wallet..but its doesnt mean you found the block..bcoz you host the pool, u will only get reward if you found the block and all share (rewards) belongs to you..
Unless if you join public pool, your chances to get reward(share) even with low power isprobably high..

1. You need to install WMCC-Client for Windows or Linux (Ubuntu 16.04 or Debian 9)
2. Run the client > Create Account > Stratum > Add new worker
3. On Baikal > point to > [yourclientip]:6880 worker:worker name you created on step 2 password:password name you created on step 2, uncheck extranonce
*if your run your client behind router use your computer static ip as yourclientip 192.168.1.*

Right now only solo mining available. We will setup public pool soon.

1. Make sure worker/username n paasword are same for both wallet n baikal
2. Set baikal stratum field to your wallet ip. Eg:
stratum+tcp://192.186.1.15:6880 (local network) or
stratum+tcp://127.5.15.117:6880 (if you connect public ip)
3. Make sure to uncheck extranonce on baikal..

If still not working, delete wmcc.conf in .wmcc folder to reset to default setting..then restart or relogin the wallet

Update from dev on telegram:
We have applied to get listed un some exchange (Poloneix, HitBTC, YoBit, coinsmarket, gate.io, bisq). Some we do get respond and some we don't get respond for our request.
Here we have the issues, since wmcc is the 1st btc-like client that implement NodeJS as based platform they (the exchanges) need to create new libraries to intergrate wmcc with their exchange server and that need some times. For bigger exchange they want coinmarketcap data that we don't have until we get listed at least one exchange.
The good news is we have been merged into bisq git but the bad news is they need to finish their UI and v0.7.0 milestone at the end of march. For sure we will be listed on bisq by the end of this March. Then we will have data to submit on coinmarketcap.
When we have the data we will try to apply for Bittrex and Binance listing. But for those exhange we still have risk if being delist in the future.
For long terms solution, after finishing public pool we will create our own wmcc DEX.
p/s: sorry if our progress is slow, but for 100% sure we won't stop this wmcc project development until we can fork wmcc with proof of presense algorithm. We don't get any profit until we can fork this wmcc with PoP. So if this project completely success we will get our reward, if not all our effort will be useless.

Actually, the project is so good. i never see any qt wallet like this. WMCC QT wallet is the best wallet that I ve ever seen.
Solo mining is so simple by using GPU, CPU and external miners.
The urgent thing is a real exchange. I think c-cex will be the best suitable exchange for the WMCC like WTHC and ELI.
If there will be an exchange, i hope many people will invest WMCC

The platform of WMCC is really good. The windows wallet has solo pool which is very attractive.The main problem is the exchange. Bisq network is really hard to install and use. I tried several times but no success. Who use this type exchange lately ? it is ridicolous because web based exchanges is easy to use.

Its because exchange need to create new wrapper (a custom library files to recall all rpc data from wmcc core). Since wmcc is a new and maybe they think it not worth to spend their programmer time to create a custom library for only wmcc use unless wmcc is accepted by most people globaly.
Other features needed to get listed on exchanges is up to the exchange terms and rules. But for wmcc the main reason be rejected is not supported client core.

The wmcc exchange almost finish. WMCC still have long way to go. We finished with explorer, stratum mining, pool next will be wmcc exchange. Wmcc exchange will be a robot/ea friendly exchange, low fee, 0 withdrawal fee, push withdrawal option (we do not want to hold people coin), webbase platform and many more. Maybe after that wmccpay =)

The only left part is client user interface. Please relogin and delete session file in .wmcc/exchange folder. That wil create you a new session to login.

I can't connect to the Exchange server.
It says "Unable to connect".
Tested many times with both Demo and Real servers. No success!

How can I test if I can access Exchange server?
Tested in my browser, I could not reach anything. Also tested with TOR, again no success.
Ping also returns 100% packet loss.

Right now only demo exchange available. Web browser still do not support yet. Will release web browser base platform after real exchange launch. This server not using standard http port. Ping will not be working only `telnet demo.wmccex.com 8000`.

What about the WorldMobileCoin app itself?
It can't connect to the demo exchange server and shows this error: "Unable to connect".
Any solutions?

You can try type the server address manually demo.wmccex.com:8000 in the server input. Or using server IP 104.198.99.101:8000. But this IP maybe will be changed in the future.

I could successfully connect to the server using telnet via Tor.
So it seems that the exchange server is filtered by my ISP (have no idea about the reason) or my IP address might not have the permission of connecting to the server (because of the US sanctions against my country)!
Hence I should use a proxy in worldmobilecoin app for connecting to the exchange server.
I can use proxychains4 app for tunneling worldmobilecoinapp but it makes the app so slow.
Is there any way to set a proxy for worldmobilecoin app?

I was also think about this. The only solution i can think right now is install the websocket server in a few different places (US,Europe,Asia). But i cant afford right now with my limited fund for this project. The exchange server was prepared to support unlimited websocket server and every websocket server can handle about 200k user pertime. The main server for all user data is run behind router, so all user data should be safe.

The other ways, maybe wait for web browser base release.

Yes, its 1st day for exchange launch. We will create a simple website for promotion before we upgrading it for web browser base exchange (ETA 2-3 weeks - since we already had the libraries and just need to call it). Soon you will be able to trade using web browser and do not need to install the client. We aware that not all people especially traders want to install the client except for miners. BTW on our 1st day we have 30 users registered without any promotion or marketing. Hope we will get more support from people to trade on wmccex. Its low fee 0.1% and 0% fee for withdrawal/deposit (trader just pay the mining fee). I think now is the best time to buy wmcc with low price before we launching the web browser exchange.
