hey guys , i have 5k to invest , i dont know which coins or token should i invest in , i think i missed the party , because most of the coins price is too high right now , what do you guys think , iam planing to hold untill mid 2019 , i want to get profit like 500k , i know its big number , but i heard alotta ppl did that b4 , thank you .

I'm happy you're joining the party mate. Now, before you start investing that big amount of money, I would advice you to just read about everything that you can about this world. From the concept of blockchain, passing trough what BTC offers to the currency system, and what do miners, fees, wallets mean. After that you then have some basic notions of what moves the gears of the system.

Then you can start researching on your own, maybe adventuring into Ethereum and start seeing the main differences with the BTC network, mainly the so called smart contracts.

Like everything in life, you must invest in an environment that you grasp the basis so that you can read some news and see how they can impact your investments. As far as alt coins go, I recommend that you start searching for VEN, Monero and NEO for starters. They are (in my opinion) a really good set of coins that you should consider an investment. If you have further questions ( to as where to make exchanges, where to get coins) just let me know and I'll be happy to help you out man.

I suggest you go all in with solid coins like ethereum and neo,ethereum classic is good right now because it has a lot of upcoming fundamentals this year.

If you are looking for a coin to invest in, make some research about Xtrabytes. You'll see that this coin will be worthy of your money. Its has lots of potential in the future.  It has good trch nology and the developers are very active. It is still undervalued and you can buy it in less tahn a dollar. 30% ADA (long term, about 2 years)
25% APPC (short term, about 1-2 months)
25% XVG(medium term, about 4-5 months)
20% BTC (just for daily trading and increase my other coins with the profit)

I would suggest that you diversify your investments, invest in ICO, invest in BTC, and invest in altcoin.
Invest 50 percent of the list in your list.
20% investment ICO
30% investment in altcoin.
Such an investment plan could give you a high return and a small risk.

You can do that ofcourse but first buy BTC then do some search about coin you want to buy. Then have a better plan before trading so you can have a precise entry and exit.

In my opinion to minimize the risk in investment devide that amount of money in to 2 option, firstly use 50% of that money to buy some popular coin like Bicoin, ETH, DASH, LTC, WAVES, NEO. And then other 50% use it to buy some coin/token that just listed in the market that has good fundamental so you will get cheap price and the price has posibility to going up by multiple, these token could be UTRUST, APPCOIN and DEEPBRAINCHAIN.

$5k? You can get a coin from the top 10 like ETH or LTC which will be safe investments but won't give you the massive gains from a smaller market cap coin. Something ranked #150 and under are not as safe but could give you big returns. My only advice is do research and watch videos on ones that interest you and decide if you want to take a risk and how much of the $5k you want to invest into it.

Bitcoin is really the best coin to invest because it offers opportunity to gain financial profit if you really hold on it for long  term. And the perfect time to buy is during the dips, like we witnessed a few days ago. But I just checked the current price, looks like it's going down so it's not late to get it.

I think Bitcoin is the best chance for gaining profit easily maybe next month it will return its price. But if you want a big profit just invest on a project that have a product or proofs that you can be surely your money will grow. So many different coins in the world of crypto but some of them just launch a coin with no product or they are just forever promising only to the people. Becareful on what you are investing in and do your own research you can earn more than you've expected.

Well because people has done it before, it doesn't mean it could be done again. And with $5000 it will be really hard to make $500,000 , you have some really high standard dream i must say. But back to the question. Which coin to chose... well you could invest into bitcoin, but because your on altcoin section i guess you do not want to invest into bitcoin. Second option that i would always recommend is Ethereum. I think that it has great potential and great rising possibility. Also its price is not to high so... why not. If not Ethereum, than maybe Litecoin. There are some speculations that Litecoin could make a deal with Facebook, which will bring its price high up.

Getting 500k with initial money of 5k is not a realistic target. You better aim for something more realistic. Maybe getting 50k instead of 500k would be much more suitalble for you.

The price of bitcoin is already high so 5k is not enough to invest in bitcoin. if i was you invest in altcoin such eth cause eth value nowadays is 1038$ and 5k is enough and for sure you can earn much profit on it by doing long term investment even the growth rate gradually increasing .

I would refer to you to invest on bitcoin since the current price of bitcoin is low than it is used to be like around 14-16k usd. Turning 5K to 500K is a bit lofty at this point. Unless you hit couple of good ico's this year or managed to pick a few winners from the undervalued coin stack. Even if you had picked up ETH at $12.5 at the beginning of 2017 with 5k, that would've given you 400 ETH and right now you would still be shy of 500K with the current ETH price.

Not saying it is impossible. With crypto, you have a better chance than any other asset class at this point.

Probably stick with few solid coins first and see how that goes. My feeling is that 2018 will be a roller coaster year with even greater vega than 2017. Good luck!

The best basic startup is btc and eth.

With 5k as a investment fund, you wont be able to buy significant amounts of coins so I think there is a need to split your portfolio into 2 parts.
The first part should be a top 10 token like NEO or ETH. While the second part can be a variety of ICO or altcoins that has a small cap.

For example, you can consider looking at XSpec which is a privacy coin that has better stealth tech than all the privacy coins out there. It is still very cheap and you can buy it at cryptopia

For ICO, you can look at ICOs that are working on smart contracts blockchain like ArcBlock.

Split your ICO funds into 3 parts and invest into 3 good ICOs. Do your research before investing.

All coins are dropping right now so it is the right time to buy. No matter what coin you buy, my advice would be to buy in steps, don't buy using the 5K in one fell swoop. Buy in steps because the price may fall further, and you will feel sad if you buy in using all your money at a higher price.

5k$ would be a good start and after that invest more little by little with other crypto so if you think eth will be the best one for you better to

Your target is quite ambitious. You'll need to gain 30% monthly in order to get from 5K to 500K in 18 months. This means you'll have to risk more - forget about bitcoin, ether or any other top 100 token. Put all of your money in 2 to 5 ICOs. Be patient and wait till ico tokens hit major exchanges. Then sell at 3x - 5x and invest in other ICOs.

5K to 500K is definately a hard job. I doubt this cannot be achieved by majority of the people. If you want 100X return in a year then you must look out for high risk and high reward opportunities. ICOs are best suited for these. Find 3-4 potentially good upcoming ICOs and invest in them (no need to be proportional), after investing watch charts, if your investment is already multiple X's then take out your initial investment so you can rinse and repeat.

To reach the number you said by mid 2019 you will need to take some risk. I'd say keep 50% of your total investment in a couple of top 20 coins that you really believe in and use the other 50% to invest in ICOs or coins with low marketcap that show lots of potential.

You have too many options it's either you invest on popular coins like BTC or ETH or you will invest on new coins that has a possibility to get high value on the future. It's up to you maybe you have to be more careful in your investment 5k is big money do some research and choose wisely.

Go for ethereum if you want a good and safe profit. Other than ethereum you can go for Bitcoin Gold or Bitcoin Cash or Litecoin. You can invest $3000 in ethereum and remaining $1000 in Bitcoin Gold, $5000 in Bitcoin Cash and $5000 in Litecoin. This segregation gives profit when one coin the other will reap good profit.

you may want to check coins with low prices but be sure which ones have good project, professional team and road map. try to find reliable comments on them and learn to read their supplies, graphics etc. You can check neo, omisego, stellar but these are not investment advices.

Try ethereum or bitcoin now, as low as there price now and hold it.

As in the quote it's good to invest considering it an opportunity. Best way is to diversify into coins that have got low value and apart from that half the amount being invested into ICO is good. Because very few ico go low in value after the presale while majority grow good.

I would suggest you to invest that on Etherium or either Etherium. Both of these coins' market value are now down like most of the coins at this moment. Well, knowing that these coins are both good when it comes of being an investment. It's a good time to buy right now but if you want x100 gains you need to be looking at sub 100M market cap coins . It's high risk but it's the only way you're going to be able to do it.

There ARE coins sitting below 100M MC that will be Billion dollar coins in the future.

I Just invested USD 500 in HSR, market signals are looking good for a short 2x and maybe 4x within late february/march as per the analysis i have read. You should follow a similar path, create an account in an exchange and attempt to make some cash, also if there is a project you want to support you can invest on them, some decent new icos out there. I don't think holding BTC/ETH is the best move these days.

Using most of your money on bitcoin may not be a problem because it will provide greater safely. but I do not really agree with the allocation of funds for altcoin. let alone the allocation of funds is too large for bitcoin cash. I recommend you to invest on electroneum as soon as possible. They dont release yet their mining app im sure it will moon once they release it.
