Transaction costs probably don't make investing $70 a worthwhile investment.

You're better off trying to work for free coins.  Bounties, Faucets, etc.  Build up a little more wealth and then you can trade with money that will have an impact. 

70$ is way too little when it comes to crypto currencies, but If you have no option then invest in cheap coins who has super active team. You can earn some good profit then.

No way. Anything you can invest is good. To me, $70 is a great amount. Invest it in any of the top coins that are on a dip right now and you will make money. You won't make 100x your money but you might make $30, then you have $100 and then you can make $50, and so on and so on. Money is money, you don't need to invest a lot to make money

If I were you, I would spend this $ 70 to eat a sumptuous meal and then start studying in this forum, earning money with your own skills and time, such as translating and signature bounties, and you can also finding some airdrop .

That is the most accurate I have read on this thread. Search for a coin that can quickly +30%, SIA as an example. Then trade in and out, exchanges won't charge exorbitant fees therefore you can make some slight profits in a few days. You iwll be able to turn these $70 in lets say $150 in a couple of successful quick trades. There are many altcoins that are good for this.

Do you anticipate more $$$ in the future that you can build your portfolio?  You could get some sud $1 Coins, you could go into something like LTC or ETH that is down today and then when the value rises put it into some alts.  While $70 isnt a lot there are some good projects out there you need to dig for em.

I think if you asked about what coin to invest $70, the answer is too many coins that you can choose and it is too confusing to select which one. but I think you can go with waves and use $35 to buy and use $15 to buy cardano and for the rest of your money, you can buy bitcoin so you could have bitcoin too. but this is just my opinion and hope you can do research before you decide to buy the coin.

Since it's a very low amount, I would say your best chances are to go for a small price coin or token, and wait for it to grow. It won't be easy though, specially since the markets look a little bearish now, but stellar and ripple seem to be doing ok right now and could be a good buy. They are still following bitcoin, so if BTC drop, they actually drop a little as well, but when BTC rises, they are actually outperforming it recently. Look at stellar gains today for example. You would have gotten 20% out of your investment right now just today. If you actually compare it to BTC, it has been outperforming it for the last 3 days, and giving decent profits.

If it is only $70, I would put it into an ico.

$70 is way too little to make gains from short term trading.
And long term holding won't do much either.

If you are able to choose a successful ICO, you can expect to turn that $70 into $300 to $500 dollars.
Then reinvest that again into another ICO and on and on.

Once you get up to around $5000 worth of assets, than that would be enough to make significant gains through short term trading or long term holds.

Remember, everybody has to start somewhere, whether that be $70 or $50k dollars.

Honestly if you had to invest, probably in one of the smaller <1$ altcoins and then try to make a small profit to go on.

I would really consider saving up more since transaction fees are going to kill you, unless you are able to avoid them (e.g. piggybacking on a friend's transaction) but even so it is going to be so inconvenient. If you really want to, you can buy whatever you want since there's really no limit to how small an amount you buy of any coin.

I would advise you to save at least 500$ before you start to invest because of the transfer fee coins are very big now :( Pouchastvuyte in companies bounty and a couple of months you get$ 500 and even more! It all depends on your luck

70 USD is good to start on a low-cost coin like 100 satoshis below each coin, though you need to wait for the right time and hold for a bit long so you can make a great profit out of it.

My friend invested only 5$ in one coin and at the current value he has now around 1000$ and he is not pulling out money yet, he will wait longer. He needed about 6 months to achieve that.

Maybe you should try and get it on an ICO, but be advised most have a minimum of $100 to participate. So don't get all excited about an ICO until you know you can participate from your country, pass the KYC, and afford the minimum buy in. Use icobench.com or a similar site and do sone research. If you do it correctly you can easily turn your $70 into $250 and then flip it over and over.

I dont think you should invest in alt coin with this amount. Buy BTC as its on Dip, hold it until it goes up.

The $70 looks quite small amount for investment if the price per coin is already more than this, however you can find a lot of coins which are kess in value as of now but may increase definitely in future. I would personally suggest you to buy some ripple coins, it sells for less than $1.5/ripple as of now.

I think if you want to invest all of $70, you can go with verge only because verge is still cheap now and you can get much amount for the coin but the problem is could you hold for a long-term or not. because I think verge is not going to increase higher in this month and maybe the chances to increase will happen in next month or so. but if you still want to do day trade, then I suggest you buy the coin for $35 and you can use the other $35 to do day trading.

70$ is a small amount to invest in big cap coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other big cap coins because the ROI will be low if you invest in these. So I suggest you to invest in New small cap coins like blockport, origin trial etc or upcoming ICOs like referrum, Wepower, arc block and others.

To add light with all the negativity about how low or little your investment is, it really doesn't matter how much you can afford. Base on my experience, I was in your shoe back then I only have 50 - 100$ left in me. Manage to grab some bitcore at that moment which was priced 1$ back then after a month or two prices started to pump, from 1$ price went as high as 30$ , after that I look for a promising alt coin again which is minexcoin which was about to be traded in exchange that time, again for the second time I manage to buy 300mnx for a price of 1.20$ each, waited not so long as minex price shoots up to 66$ each and managed to sell everything when it hits 55$.  Maybe I was just lucky I found a coin that was about to get pump  ;D Don't get discouraged grab some "WaN" if price ranges from 2 - 3$ and then hold.

Yes, 70 dollars, it is already worth something. For example, I participated in one airdrop and the first cost of the coin was 30 dollars. I waited and it rose up to 55$ and then I sold it for Ethereum. And after that I changed the Ethereum on bitcoin and got 130 dollars .

If you are just starting to understand on how crypto works and how to earn from it then $70 should be enough for you. Try to study trading or check some good ICOs that have huge potential. Nowadays, $100 million market cap is just normal on good projects so looking for good ICOs is gold.

it never hurts to try to learn while learning investment or trade. you can do it on the cheapest altcoin. know, for that you should look for education that involves your knowledge about investment, bussines on crypto. so you can do a lot of the future.

Why not invest in cryptocurrencies? $70 is an amount that's affordable to lose and you can't just say that someone shouldn't invest if there's no experience.

I agree. I think the amount you can shed off as capital would not even scratch the surface if you plan to invest. Although seventy dollars is as good a money as any amount can, I am coming from the idea that even if you can buy some coins, the sheer amount that you can get would not be that substantial for you to make good investments and trades. Because even if you target those one dollar or less coins, you still can't get enough, that even if there's profit, you could only see a few percentage of increase, that I know would not be considered as a 'real' profit. But, if you want to do the long process and use that $70 as a stepping stone, then by all means, do so.

$70 is too low for investment. Investing this money can not be very beneficial. It is a very small amount for investment . But I would say, you can invest for long time. You can buy Ripple, Waves, Cortex. You will benefit from investing in long time.

Better to invest in some ICO, do some bounty for them, I think it's most perspective way to have some profit from those cash. Investing in big coins won't give you anything due to high fees and prices.

Invest in untouched gems like remme, instar token, INS ecosystem etc. These small not so pumped coins could go give you better results than investing in big cap coins. But the risk factor is high here though.

To be honest with that amount i would not invest, i would gamble in one or two tokens new to market. Some of them make a few hundred percent a month, you just need to get out in time and not be greedy if you where lucky and where on a winner.

I think you can buy cheap coins and maybe I can give a suggestion to buy verge and hold for a long time and don't sell if the price does not increase more than 1500 satoshi. and if the price can increase until that price, I am sure that your profit will double than before but you need to be patient and hold with strong hand. you have another option to buy another cheap coin like ada, nxt, ignis, xem, dgb, sc, xrp, because those coins have potential to get an increase too like verge.

And I think it is safer to invest in something like Ethereum, it is not always the best thing to buy a low satoshi coin that is near 1 cent or lower... Most of these coins will never reach a higher value because they are dead!

Are you planning to add more money in the near future or you just want $70 as your investment capital? If your plan is to make that single $70 capital and make it grow then you should try investing time in order to study trading. Make active trades as much as you can. You can do margin especially that you can multiple your stake in your trades.

If you want long term then I guess you should slowly accumulate $70 maybe every week or month on coins like Ethereum, NEM, Litecoin, QSP and other promising projects.
