Title: A list of spamming multi-accounts. Ban? Post by: Kvanko on January 25, 2018, 11:50:00 AM Greetings, I noticed a strange activity in some topics and most likely discovered a whole bunch of users with some kind of centralized control, whose main task is (probably) to keep topics alive by asking similar, almost meaningless questions and sometimes answering to them from other accounts.
I divided the list on some groups, which I called "generations", since these accounts were created in a bunch of different periods. All these accounts have similar characteristics and behavior: 1) Similar ranks and activity within generations; 2) The same topics they post in (look for the last posts, it's almost exclusively Edgecoin, but also the some of them post in Coinlance Airdrop and Futourist. Before that they were all posting in the same threads too. It can be easily verified by looking into posts history. I'll show a couple of examples in the end). 3) Similar dates of registration. There are 5 "generations" I managed to find:
b) Second generation (May(20, 26) and October(21, 27), 2012) - some of them (3 out of 4) have more personal info than other generations; c) Pre-third generation (October 12, 2017) - the most active of them all. All are registered on the same day. Have 250-340 posts. d) Third generation (October 20-21, 2017) - the biggest one. 18 accounts were registered within 2 days and have so much in common. Strange! e) Fourth generation. The last one. Were registered in a period 13-15 of November.[/li] 5) Most of them started to post something in the end of October (20-22) of the 2017. Except 2nd and pre-third generations. 1st generation exlpains23 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=13913 akramali - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=13668 valessiobrito - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=14302 farland7 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=14338 ZellaAnders - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=13875 candiela - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=13885 chenjkai - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=13934 Winifred364 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=14160 susankhardman - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=13060 parttime38 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=14195 Moore787 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=13428 AshdiD22 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=13406 2nd generation boris0148 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=70786 raudisomiya - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=70121 ettaburger4 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=58717 derverss - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=58282 Pre-3rd generation alexsmalex - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1209122 snos-boss - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1209105 persefona - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1209090 sahabond - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1188303 3rd genration lina.potushanskaya.84 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1232552 sabina.gnusareva - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1232529 evgenij.burchak - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1235277 yaroslava.pryanchikova - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1236083 mediocre777 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1232588 fbatyshev_007 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1233101 stalin2517 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1231932 Kpss_pro - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1231924 Lina_Malina - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1231942 Mix_Fix - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1232346 mad_max777 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1231918 hov777 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1231878 kept-1986 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1235294 armchair-84 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1235324 choice84 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1236115 avtaev.savva - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1236064 obulynin - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1236149 oficman - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1232342 napkin1989 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1235340 4th generation angrygerl - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1314665 orchideja75 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1307499 PchelkaMaja95 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1311196 Letopisets - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1308204 If you look into the last messages of all these accounts you will see that they post their messages only in a couple of the same topics in a similar order. This guy doesn't even try to hide and just login into his accounts one by one, asks some stupid question, re-login with another one and answers to himself from another account. Here are typical examples, which can be seen through the whole history of his messages: A user sabina.gnusareva (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1232529) posts a message (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2333082.msg24913190#msg24913190) in CROM ICO ANN (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2333082) and you can scroll down a little bit to see other members of this list (lina.potushanskaya.84, mediocre777, fbatyshev_007, exlpains23, etc). A user lina.potushanskaya.84 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2231928.msg23564858#msg23564858) posts a message (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2231928.msg23564858#msg23564858) in 1World Tokens ICO ANN (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2231928.0). The same story here. Scroll down and see people from the list (mediocre777, fbatyshev_007, exlpains23, etc) I know that my proofs aren't 100%, but can you disagree that it is pretty strange? Maybe it's not one guy, but rather some group of individuals, I don't know. Maybe it's a promotion service or someone creates a lot of accounts to participate in bounty campaigns. Just wanted to inform you about this finding. Title: Re: A list of spamming multi-accounts. Ban? Post by: Kvanko on January 25, 2018, 11:58:06 AM I managed to find even more of similar groups of accounts. Here they are. I made a new post, because I don't want to make a mess.
All these users write similar posts (ask stupid questions). Take a look at their messages. They all post in the same threads (Saifu, Setcoin, FreelancerCoin, OKO, Chatello, Lucyd, Mobilink and the newest - STYRAS ). All Russian-speakers. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1344769 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1341389 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1383088 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1383566 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1341533 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1384310 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1343931 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1383858 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1330399 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1383054 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1384493 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1340798 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1341435 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1363586 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1328340 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1383150 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1341465 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1383304 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1383737 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1368369 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1383027 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1328485 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1341273 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1383646 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1341336 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1344622 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1383250 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1347498 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1384512 From the same group, but they are not members yet, just newbies. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1417100 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1417025 **--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------** And here is another bunch. This guy even created a thread in Russian local business branch where he offers a service of "Social activity imitation" on this forum and beyond. Here is the thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2741667.0 You can Google translate it, I think everything will be clear enough. He says he has more than 10 accounts and I've found only 8. Maybe others have lower ranks and another date registrations so I can't be sure they are mults of this guy. I checked his last messages and managed to find some of his accounts. They all are registered on 8-9 of November and post in Gelios ANN most of the time. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1295341 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1297383 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1295314 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1297193 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1297315 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1297403 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1297344 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1297225 Title: Re: A list of spamming multi-accounts. Ban? Post by: dhemasm on January 25, 2018, 12:30:06 PM Looks like 1 person holding the account and using multiple website apps simultaneously. Usually they are account sellers , Airdrop spammer or service providers of "Thread Bumper"on some ico, like the previous case. I'll try to see some other accounts, maybe they post their address and I can make proof that every account is connected.
Especially for both accounts is suspicious https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1694413 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1694404 Title: Re: A list of spamming multi-accounts. Yeah, I think the same. But I don't know how to get rid of them. As far as I know only admins can ban users. We can use "Report to moderator" feature, but I don't know how to use it is this case. So I'm hoping someone from the staff will notice this thread. Or at least someone with green Trust to make them red. Title: Re: A list of spamming multi-accounts. Ban? Report one post and write in comments: "this user is spamming forum with zero value short one line shitposts, check his post history and this thread for more accounts https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2821037.0 "If that doesn't help report accounts one by one. If that doesn't help either, report posts one by one. Then go to announcement or bounty thread, report first post and write in comments: "this user is probably using bump service to bump his thread" which is against forum rules anyway. OK, thank you, I'll try to do that. Title: Re: A list of spamming multi-accounts. Ban? Post by: actmyname on January 25, 2018, 05:07:04 PM Looked through some accounts. Will start going down the list and tagging as necessary.
It'll take some time though: I like to be thorough and archive all my references. EDIT: First generation tagged. EDIT[2]: Second generation tagged. EDIT[3]: Pre and third generation tagged. EDIT[4]: Fourth generation tagged. That'll be all for today because the rest is a long, long list. Title: Re: A list of spamming multi-accounts. Ban? That's partially why I sped up work on merit. I don't agree with using the trust system for pure spam; that's not what it was designed for. Unfortunate. The only way I can punish spammers on a mass scale now is by contributing to signature campaign blacklists, which I have done—I pasted a list to aTriz's thread containing all the spam negatives I sent out. Merit farmers can still be tagged though. Title: Re: A list of spamming multi-accounts. Ban?
